Jamie Lisso joins me in studio.You see him frequently on on Guttfeld,
but he's been a comic around thecountry twenty years or so, I think
some I did the Tonight Show intwo thousand and one. Wow, so

know who Jay Leno is? Yes, okay, sorry, all right,
Erica, move up, so yourmouth is like in front of that microphone
there and and Erica is is Jamie'snew fiance fiance. How does it feel

to say fiance. I'm gonna behonest, I don't love the word fiance,
but like like the actual word,but I feel very good that what
is associated with it feels really goodwith me and Erica. It was love
at first sight, just from myway to her way, not coming back.
It was like a third, thirdor fourth sight. No comment.

Yeah, all right, Aim thatmic down a little more because they're very
directional. There you go. Okay, So Eric is Erica is a doctor
somewhere. I won't say where,and and tell the short, clean version
of your coming to Denver the previoustime. So Jamie and I developed a
relationship online. I met him atone of his shows in Boise, where

I'm from, but we were alwaystalking, like through Instagram. We hadn't
met otherwise other than main friends.And then I decided, after six months
of talking that I liked him alittle bit. And yeah, I surprised
him. So I flew to Denverout of nowhere. I worked a whole
day at the hospital and ran tomy hotel room, threw on a dress,

and showed up in sat front roadin a show. And he didn't
even know it was me. No, this happens to me women flying,
I'm gonna cut you off. He'slike, well, I have terrible eyesight.
Oh the lighting was really bad.I'm like, I shook your hand
and you pulled away. So what'sthe true story. Did you know it
was her? Did you not knowit was her? Cause? No,

dude, have you ever seen likea friend of yours from high school somewhere
where it's not the right contact andyou don't know who they are, you
know what I mean, Like yousee someone from a certain you can't help
me. I thank you. Thishas been going on for a year now,
I thank you. I had onlytalked to her and it was not
like online dating. We just onlytalked texting and stuff right Instagram. So

I did and it was like,I don't know and she I had never
seen her out for the night,like I dressed up, and to be
honest, she just looked. Igo, who is that? Like it
was. I was very taken itback and they say her name was Erica.
Still nothing, really so much.Then she grabs my hand and goes,
it's me Erica, and it's kindof still nothing. And then she
goes, you want to die coke, and we had this inside joke about
diet coke, and I go,wow, it's definitely her. And then

it was a very challenging. Itwas very hard to do the rest of
the show. Stumbled back and ohkidding, I did stumble. I forgot.
I was I glad I cut youoff there. Wow. Yeah,
he fell back on stage and Iwas happy. I didn't realize that you
were like that composed though. Yeah, So I was disappointed because I wanted
to fall back and be like,oh my gosh, she was here,
and all I got was like thisvery soft, delicate, feminine handshake.

Were professional? Uh huh uh.I think you've met your match here,
Jamie. Yeah, definitely. AndI think maybe you met your match too.
But I'm a little more concerned forhim. I'd say that's an understaker.
But we love Denver and we dida lot of fun stuff. We
went for a walk and we didn'tknow about you got your guys's superhero lungs

in your altitude is the thing.We went for a walk and we couldn't
figure out what was happening. AndI remember trying to impress Erica and we
went up like a slight hill andI was like, yes, I fashioned
myself like a guy that's like kindof in shape. And I remember walking
on a flat service just going whatis happening and not realizing, yeah,
that it was the altitude thing.I want the cans of oxygen that we
heard about, Yeah, you actuallyhave you done them? I haven't done

(04:05):
them, but I live here,so I'm used to it. I don't
need it. When we were atthe comedy club last time, they told
us that we could actually order cansof oxygen and I was like, physically,
yeah, I would like to tryit. I'm sure you know this
by now. But drink an immenseamount of water. Yeah, that's important.
And if you're drinking alcohol, drinkslow. But if you know,
if you're not from here, youmight not even want to drink, but

drink a lot of water. Butright the alcohol has a higher, pitchy,
harder because of the Yeah, Idon't know why, but it definitely
does. It absolutely does. Thedoctor should know that. No, it's
a different kind of doctor. Ohthat's a good tip. Yeah, that's
a good tip. Oh wow,maybe you all have two drinks at you're
sure that'd be great. Jamie isplaying tonight at seven fifteen and then tomorrow

at seven fifteen and nine forty five. It comedy works out at the Landmarks.
If you're there tomorrow you'll probably seeme and my and my wife and

lot more, but I can't rightnow because I've got to do some other

that you got this opportunity on whatturns out to be one of the most
popular shows on television. And it'sa success well earned, which is the
right kind of success. I reallyappreciate it. And we're just at a
coffee shop just now, and thesepeople were came up and said, like,
oh, we know you from guffaldorwhatever. Yeah, And I said,
do you know I'm performing here thisweekend. They were from out of
town and they said no, andI go, this club is my favorite

club in the country. And theylaughed like, oh you say that everyone.
I go, oh, no,I'm completely serious. I go,
it's right around the corner, andso they're all comings around. I saw.
I really just like to be backhere for many reasons. Oh that's
fantastic. Well, it's good tomeet you both. Congratulations on your engagement.
