(01:11):
mind today? Are you there?I know you're there because you were bugging
me about my camera. What's new? Mark? Where are you? Man?
Just? Where are you we loveto hear. Okay, Mark has
been on a long trip with susand they are out and about, still
working. We're now each in California. It's beautiful. Now. Is this

(01:32):
your first venture with the motor homeinto all these parts of California? Well,
I purchased this particular coach in California, so besides driving it back to
Colorado. Yes, Okay, howdo you like California? It's beautiful?

(01:52):
Isn't it a beautiful state? Theparts that we have been in are absolutely
gorgeous. At seventy degrees out rightnow Pismo is about seventy degrees every single
day. The dogs can walk allover the beach without a leash. We
just love this area. Love itand okay, cool and Mark. Fuel

(02:14):
is extremely expensive though. Fuel ishigh. Oh my goodness, taxes are
high. I didn't realize they havethis tax that every Well, you know
how some people have deposits on bottles, like New York did growing up.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, Wellthey have it on water bottles. So
if you buy anything anything liquid that'sbasically either in plastic or glass or anything.

(02:38):
So you buy a case of water, twenty four pack of water,
they add five cents of bottle ontoit. So if it's a forty pack,
they add two bucks onto the water, which is if you really think
about it, it's Sam's Club inCostco. That's fifty percent tax on water.
Wow. All right, let's talkto Jennifer. Jennifer. What's going

(03:00):
on with you? Hi? Jennifer. We're here to solve problems, to
answer questions, to take complaints, and I hope we can do that for
you. Man. We've had somefantastic cases recently being solved thanks to the
hard work of our Deputy's deputy Dochas some home runs. What's going on,
Jennifer? Hi, good morning.I I'm having a very hard time

(03:23):
understanding the Mohila loan servicing. Nowhow are you spelling that name? Is
it Mohelo? Mohila m o he l a oh okay, I thought
maybe it was Spanish? Okay,So Mohila and what is it? It
is a student loan? Oh?So I have now tell me tell me

(03:52):
how you got hooked up with them? Tell me the story. Yeah,
so I ended up taking out aboutseventy thousand dollars in parent plus student loans.
So you took it out for astudent for your son. Yes,
and how much were they in total? About seventy thousand, Okay, So

(04:14):
what's going on then? So youknow he recently finished school and now the
loans are due. Starting back inNovember, I you know, we did
all of the loans, stock ofall the bills, everything like that.
So I was with a different loanservicer. So when you first started your

(04:41):
are these regular government backed student loans? Tom? Real quick, we just
know about this because of Addie. All they do is the servicing and they
only do servicing as far as Iknow for FSA, which is Federal Student
Loans. Okay, So these areactual student loans, government backed student loans,

(05:02):
and then you and then you arethe guaranteur with the student and Mohila
did the servicing. But before Mohelayou had another servicing company. Great,
I was okay, keep going, keep going, I hear you. Now,
So what's the problem with Mohela.Well, the problem is that I

(05:27):
keep so back in you know,November, my loan was trans I think
it was November November December, myloan was transferred to Mohila. So before
it was with Mohila, it waswith eb Financial and I got a bill.
I paid my bill, and thenI went to Mohila and then all
of a sudden they said that thebill was like twice what so twice what

(05:53):
I was paying. When you saythe bill, you mean you mean your
repayment coupon that the monthly payment.Yeah, yeah, Okay, go ahead.
So I'd say they're miscalculating or didthe first company miscalculate? I don't
know. That's the problem. Youknow, the good news. The good
news is this, Jennifer, here'sthe good news. The student loan is

(06:15):
a matter of contract. Repayment isa matter of contract. There is no
room for freelancing. So what therepayment schedule is is what it is.
And did they tell you why theamount was different than the previous servicing company.
No, they did not, Andthere was there was some communication that

(06:44):
initially that the loan was being transferred, and then when the loan was transferred,
it said something to the effect of, you know, this is your
this is your payment. And Iwas like, I don't understand why it
is right right? What was let'sdo this. The first servicing company was
charging how much three hundred and Ithink it was three and sixty dollars,

(07:09):
is what I say? And whatis this and what is this one charging
seven hundred and like thirteen dollars?Oh my gosh. Yeah, well,
okay, I don't understand what.Well, there's got to be an explanation.
Well even there's even more to it, because go ahead. What else?

(07:30):
I called them in when the billand when I got the bill,
and I was like, I don'tunderstand why it's so expensive, and they're
like, oh, well, ifyou consolidate your loans, you would qualify
for income driven repayment. And Ialso am a part of it. I'm
not talking about refinancing now or restructuringit. I want to know why,

(07:53):
why is it so much more withthis new servicing company? If you had
the same loan and it was simplytransferred, how did payments go from three
hundred to seven hundred? Great,I don't know how. And then yeah,
and then mohila, when I didthe what do you call it?

(08:18):
The I consolidated the loans and thenthey restructured it. Well, then they
told me that my payment went tosixty two dollars and fifty cents. I
was like, great, wait aminute, what do you mean you restructured
the loan. That part I don'tunderstand either. Well, when I consolidated

(08:39):
all of the student loans, whenI consolidated all of the parent plus loans,
okay, So when you were tellingme the seven hundred dollars a month
that was for all how many differentloans, it was like five five different
student loans, okay, got it. So they recommended you consolidate, and

(09:03):
when you did, the payment wentway down, So keep going. What
happened then? Yeah? I wentway way down. So then I paid.
I paid the sixty two dollars andfifty cents for three months because I
paid, or maybe a four monthI paid total four months. I paid

(09:24):
it for four months because while theywere recalculating, they put it into a
I don't know, like a pauseessentially where I didn't have to pay it
while they're figuring it out. Andthen I resumed payments in January. I
paid January, February, March, and then in March I got a bill

(09:48):
or I shouldn't say a bill.I checked my account because I was getting
ready to pay my bill, andit said that I owed again seven hundred
and something dollars. So I waslike, what the heck I didn't get
okay, So I'm I'm waiting withbaited breath, keep going what else?
Then? What happened? Did youfind out? So it went from three
hundred to seven hundred to sixty dollarsback to seven hundred. Yes, I'm

(10:13):
getting the new one a variable rate. No, no it was. And
even if it was, Mark, how the hell could it go from sixty
to seven hundred? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm getting dizzy
here. So did you find outany reason for this crap? When I
called on April fifteen the loan servicer, so this was when it had gone

(10:39):
from the sixty to the seven hundred. When I called on April fifty,
I talked to someone and they're like, I was like can I I don't
understand, Like and they're like,oh, well, we just recalculated things.
We'll put you back on your previouspayment plan. Because I was like,
I can't listen. Do you havedo you have your original paperwork?

(11:03):
No, that's the problem. Ican't get back in the Mochila has changed
their website. You cannot go ina minute. You don't have any copies
of any loan documents that you signedanywhere I have on the Yes, I
have some on the FAFSA. Ican't fed. I understand. Okay,

(11:26):
what I'm asking is this, whenyou applied for five loans, then you
went to one loan right now, whether or not you like it or not,
the only thing that's going to bedictated now is the new one loan
you have. I need to seethat paperwork. We need to get someone
to interpret this for you and seeif they're screwing you or not. So

(11:48):
do you have anything on the newloan? It's hold on, Jennifer,
really hold on, because if wecan't see the new loan doc, we
don't know what we're fighting. Holdon. I'll be right back with you,
and I'm going to take some othercalls. Please let us know though,
if you have it, if wecan get it. Kelly, you

(12:09):
may want to talk to her duringthe break. We have more coming up.
Go with a sure thing Denver's BestRoofer Excel roofing dot com. You
don't pay a cent until you're content, wait time for an insurance check up
free, no obligation. In comparison, call compass insurance paying too much your

(12:31):

the real estate man dot com tolist your home with Remax Alliance three all
three nine two zero sixteen twenty two. I'm Artino here three all three seven
one three talk zero three seven onethree eight two five. Now, people,

(12:52):
by the way, you know, every now and then we talk about
the precidential races, the biggest thinggoing on, but we don't do it
in a way. A lot ofpeople that we're not trying to convince you
of anything either way. Really we'renot. We give opinions here and there,
but who the hell cares? RightLike George Clooney, he was writing
to me all the time about Biden. Now he's saying Biden should get out.
I mean, it's really amazing howone debate can do that. I

(13:16):
heard that's what nailed Nixon back inthe day, right, I remember kind
of that. Totally different man, totally different in what way? Mark?
You mean? This guys, thisguy's a buffoon. He shouldn't be in
charge, he should not be thecommander in chief. And I don't care
how liberal you are, if youlooked at that debate, you know he's
out of it. He's either gotParkinson's or dementia or something. Now,

(13:37):
listen to this. In a ina poll done hired by the Democrats from
a firm called Ben Dixon and Amandi, they say that Kamala Harris can beat
Kamala Harris can beat Trump. Sothat I just wanted to let you know
that anyway, three or three sevenone three. Let's go to Jennifer.

(14:01):
Now, Jennifer, did you findthe loan I saw on the Mohila website?
There is not the loan document likethe initial loan document. Yeah.
All it has is like a likea caption essentially. Well, you send

(14:24):
us to demand. You need todemand the note. Okay, you have
to. We can't help you withoutknowing the terms and conditions. We can't
tell them they're doing something wrong. And we don't need the original loan.
All we need is the new consolidatedloan and what you agree to. That's
what we need. Send us exactlywhat you're looking at there. If it's
a PDF, download it and sendit to help it your Yeah, you

(14:45):
can do that too, Jennifer.I am marking this here so we can
get you back. But I we'llkeep this handy so when you call back,
we really will look into this,Okay, but we need something to
go on. March set is fine. Anything you can find. We'd love
to know the latest loan that yousign and if you did it by doc

(15:07):
you sign her something, there isa copy of it somewhere, Natasha.
What's going on with you? Natasha? All right, Tom, I've been
listening to your show forever. Yeah, what's happening? Well? I had
reached out to Ticket Secrets on Februaryfifteenth. What is what is ticket Secrets?

(15:30):
Is it a broker? Yes,she is a broker. I reached
out to her on February fifteenth aboutMonster Jem tickets. You were looking for
Monster jam tickets? Okay? Yes, I have three grandsons and wanted to
take them, so I reached outto her. Then again on three five,

(15:52):
which is March fifth, then againon three five. When you say
I don't understand the reaching out part, what do you mean by that?
You went and bought reached out throughher through Facebook and then through Messenger like
okay, messenger, and she toldme, yes, she tooke at me
tickets told me the prize. Shewas running a discount, so I was
like, great, this is evenbetter. Did you buy them? I

(16:15):
purchased eight tickets through her for sixhundred and twenty dollars with one hundred dollars
discount or whatever it was seven twentybrought it down to six twenty okay for
six okay? And I kept ontelling her, I hope to god,
I'm not getting scammed. She said, she's been in business for ten years.
Did you see a website or anything? Did you do any did you

(16:37):
see you did? I did goon to her website. She what's your
website? And what what's your website? Uh? Her website is oh too
hold on tickets secretsco dot com.Okay, keep going. So she's out
of Colorado or not? Yes,she is in Johnstown, Colorado. Okay.

(16:59):
So what did you find her businessout of Greenwood Village? Okay?
Does she have an office there?Yes? She had it down there in
Greenwood Village. I have all theinformation. I kind of don't want to
share too much. But there isnot just me. There is thousands of
people that are out of money.Because she has an A plus. She

(17:23):
has an A plus rating with theBetter Business Bureau. Yeah, and I
mean I follow all your steps.I listened to your show every single day.
You know what, how is thatpossible? But you gave this lady
all that money without getting the tickets. You know, when I was saying
that, by the way, tonguein chic with the Better Business Bureau.
By now people know they're a sham. The Better Business Bureau is a dinosaur,

(17:45):
a Brontosaurus rex, and they're fromthe old days, and they don't
do anything anymore to check people outbecause these people, I see where she's
ripped off a ton of people. And yet and yet the Better Business Bureau
has her at an A rating.Isn't that wonderful? Yes? So I

(18:06):
had paid her in full one hundredpercent guarantee of the tickets the day before
the event. What was the guarantee? Tell me about the guarantee your ticket?
Well, what do you mean?Because she said so for the event?
Because she said, yeah, okay, that was the guarantee. Okay,
And what happened guaranteed? You know? So I took the credit from

(18:26):
her because it was snowing and mygrandson is one years old. I took
the credit and just keep it inher or whatever, and my grandson's are
absolutely big Bronco Raiders fans, SoI decided to use my credit for the
upcoming Broncos Raiders game. I reachedout to her, by the way,

(18:47):
did you ever get the Monster Didyou ever get the Monster Jam tickets?
No? I did not. Itook the credit through her business to go
to a future event. So whydid you know? What? Why?
Why were you so willing to dothat and not get a refund? Tell
me why she would not offer afull refund. She only offered. But
why didn't you get the tickets? What was the reason for not getting the

(19:10):
tickets? Snowing? It was snowingand raining the Okay, so it wasn't
her fault. I get it,I get it, I get it.
Go ahead, okay, so Icould get the credit. How long ago
did you? How long ago wasthis monster supposed to take place? This
Monster Jam? The Monster Jam wassupposed to take place on April twenty seventh,

(19:30):
Okay, that's of this year?Yes, on eight? Okay,
twenty sixth, the day before theevent. I took offer or she offered
the credit and I took it.On June twenty sixth, I purchased through
her eight Denver Bronco tickets. Iwas going to pay the difference for more

(19:51):
expensive tickets, she said, don'tworry about it. I got you.
I was like, oh my goodness, this lady is great. On the
t one eighth of June, sheposted that she had a family emergency.
She had offered Morgan Walling tickets, which is one of the biggest events at

(20:15):
Mile High. She had offered Morganwall And tickets and duped everybody out of
their money for those Morgan Wallen tickets. Okay, but she didn't dupe you
out of them. She didn't.Wait, she didn't dupe you out of
those tickets. She duped you outof Bronco tickets. Yes, Okat Four
days later, she posted that shehas legal counsel and all pending orders are

(20:38):
going to receive a notice of furtherprocessing. So she's going bankrupt. Yep.
Oh, now there are hundreds, then hundreds of them. Well,
there's nothing you can do about abankruptcy. Listen, money, Natasha,
I'm going to give you some verybad news. There's nothing you can do
about a bankruptcy. As an unsecureddebtor. You can only go to the

(21:00):
trustee and put in a claim andI'll tell you why. Unless you can
prove fraud, it will be discharged. She will not have to pay unless
you can prove she knew she wasgoing out of business, continued to collect
money and fatten the coffers. Now, while that sounds like it's what she
did, and while a lot ofcontractors do that, what she did,

(21:25):
Well, that's what you're saying,right, And I get why you're saying
it. I get it, Natasha, I get why you're saying it.
You don't have to prove it tome. I'm not a judge, but
everyone, do you understand I justwant you to tell you this. Everyone
says that in a bankruptcy. Everycreditor, every single creditor says this.

(21:45):
They knew they were going bankrupt. They took my money and ripped me off.
Now everyone says it. What youneed is enough people to say it
to the trustee so they don't allowher to get away with it. Okay,
So what do you have as proof? I have hundreds of people that

(22:08):
we are And by the way,is she actually going bankrupt? That is,
she has a law office that's workingwith her. I have tried to
reach out to this law office andno response. The voicemail box is full.
Is it a bankrupt Is it abankruptcy attorney? No? No,

(22:33):
that's another thing we have a problemwith. Okay, not a bankruptcy lawyer
or whatever. Who is the attorney? Richard Gross? Richard Gross? Does
he? Does he have anything todo with the fur business? Yeah?
I know? Remember hey Mark, you remember Dick Gross or walk Remember happen

(22:56):
He threatened to call the cops iton me? Yeah? Anyway, so
Richard Gross he used to wait nothe but remember Richard Gross was the man
who used to have Frank, LloydFurs and rich Dick anyway, so listen,
Richard Gross is the attorney. Okay, here's the problem. Okay,

(23:17):
Natasha, If not the problem, this is good news. You need to
file a small claim court against herimmediately before she files and get a judgment.
Now that judgment can go away witha bankruptcy. But you if she's
not filing yet, why don't youdo it? You said there were hundreds

(23:37):
of clients. How do you knowthat? Oh yeah, we're all online
in communication with each other. Thereare people from even out of state.
Okay, if all of them,if all of them. There's no trustee.
There is no trustee to contact rightnow, so there's no one to
complain to. The only thing youcan do you is do a small claim.

(24:00):
Don't tell everyone else to do itbecause no one will get paid.
But you ought to do a smallclaim. Do you know where she is
and where she can be served?Where's the office closed? She now at
her home up in Johnstown? Iknow that for sure. Okay, then
what you need to do is getonline as soon as possible. Mark,

(24:22):
Where would you sue her? Thebusiness was in Greenwood Village and she's in
Johnstown. We just serve someone inJohnstown, remember Jeff Jolliffe the trade?
But where? But where would yousi? I don't remember because those people
serve So I would just ask,no, no, I'm asking where.
I'm asking? Can you sew herin Greenwood Village though? Or do you
up where she lives? Well?I would see her, huh. I

(24:48):
would sue the business which it waswhere green business was, Greenwood Village and
then have her served personally. Well, yeah, you're going to have to
serve her. I assume she's herown registered agent. We have to take
this brit Natasha that's the very firstthing to do. And then if you
can get other people to call us, well, all the living is what

(25:11):
we really are, assuming they haven'tfiled bankruptcy. What's the corporate name?
And I'll fire off an email toan attorney, or I'll look it up
myself and let's see if this companydid so. Give that information to Kelly
and she'll get it to me.All Right, we got more coming right
up. Go with a sure thingDenver's Best roofer Excel Roofing dot com.

about a public real quick, realquick. I checked, there is no
bankruptcy filing on that secret tickets orticket secrets or the lady individually. Yeah,

(26:42):
but she's ripped off a ton ifyou look online. Yeah, she's
just telling people that, so they'llgo away. Okay, let's try to
get a hold of her. Theyhave a number. If she has a
number, let's get that number, and then we I don't know what we
do about this. We need toget some other people planning here, Natasha,
and then let's let's try to reachher. Kelly reached out to her.

(27:06):
Yeah, Kelly call that. Comeon, let's let's let the audience
call her. I mean, ridiculous, especially if she's still answering. And
then, of course, remember theBetter Business Bureau. The Better Business Bureau
is useless, absolutely useless. Theydon't do it with Don Eiley's the guy
that stole thirteen million dollars. Whatwas his rating on the BBB? A

(27:30):
plus A plus yeah, and hewas in prison at the time. Now,
Hannah and Marjorie, that was theicing on the cake. Hannah and
Marjorie, tell us about this. When you say public administrator, is this
about an estate? It is?So Catherine Fields is out of El Paso

(27:51):
County. No, but let's talkabout the estate first. Why for those
listening, let me just tell peoplethis. When someone died, if sometimes
the siblings or creditors or people allget into a tussle. They all can't
agree on anything, and no oneagrees who should be the person representative,

(28:12):
and sometimes there's no will clearly spellingit out, they sometimes appoint a public
administrator. Now, I just wantto say this because it's important. When
a public administrator is appointed, theyalmost always rape and pillage the estate and
leave hardly anything left for the heirs. Having a public administrator is akin to

(28:37):
simply pissing away the entire estate. But what's happening in your case? Okay,
So, my great uncle, myaunt Margie's brother, died in al
Paso County on January twenty second. He was not the He died in his
car in a King Cooper's parking lot. The coroner did not come out until

(29:02):
January twenty third, so they're callinghis death date January twenty third of twenty
twenty four. The public the cornertook his body, okay, turned it
over to the public administrator on January. But I don't. First of all,
hold on, what do you meanturned it over to a public administrator.

(29:22):
The coroner simply pronounces people dead. They don't open an estate. So
because they didn't look for family tonotify the thone, Okay, I got
it. They didn't know anything abouthim. They did they know where he
lived, kat he had his ID, he had his phone. Nobody looked
at any of that. They nevercalled anybody. So they turned it over

(29:48):
to the courts. They basically thecorner. Who was the one that claimed?
Usually the corner lets the sheriff's departmentor the police do it. Who
is the one that claimed they couldnot find next of kin? Answer?
No, it was Nick Meyer's thecoroner the corner the coroner actually claimed And

(30:11):
what county was this? El Paso? Okay? So this is crazy,
Okay, O better okay, butbut this is crazy. So so the
public administrator is appointed by the courts. She is an unappointed government official.

(30:33):
It never court. No, youmean she's an unelected she has to be
appointed or she's not a public administrator, So she's an unelected. But all
public administrators are Hannah and Marjorie.Let me explain this to you. A
public administrator is used if someone isindigen or doesn't have family. In this
case, you're saying they didn't botherto look. So when it was turned

(30:56):
over, when it was turned overtwo when it was turned over to a
public administrator, did the public administratorspot open up probate? No? What
did they do? He contacted mea month later? A month later and

(31:17):
who's me? Are you Marjorie? And Marjorie? Are you related? Are
you related to this guy? He'smy brother? Oh, I'm sorry?
And what was his first name?By the way, Frankly Rouy Durbin?
Well I just need okay, soFrank, So the public administrator contacted you,

(31:37):
Marjorie his sister. Then what happeneda month later? I get it,
I get it, so that thatplease contact her in regard to Frank
durban which I called and she said, your brother is a lady named Pias
said your brother is dead, whichwas up setting to me. I get

(32:00):
it now, I had to grasp. I handled the phone to hammah.
How terrible, you know, howterrible to find out like that? Then
what happened? I set hammah geno' hamnah, I'm sevenday five and it
was too shocking and annoying. ThenI lost my brother. Oh, I

(32:22):
know, I can imagine. Andit had been a month. It had
been a month. I get it. And I didn't find out until February
twenty second base, No, Iunderstand. Listen, all of that's very
upsetting. Then what happened? Sothen I called the Public Administration's office.
I asked them, you know, had they where his belongings were? Everything

(32:46):
was? Let me talk about thatfor a second. Hold on, I
got I got to find out moreabout his estate, and we might get
an attorney on but hang on,we got more of this coming back.

back to that public administrator after thebreak. I want to talk to Denise
now though. Denise has a quickquestion about streaming Denise, what's going on?
Hi, Tom, I just movedfrom the Metro area two years ago
and I'm out in northwest Kansas,Okay, research on streaming services, and
I chose Sulu. And what thesituation is is is in regards to the

(34:01):
NASCAR Cup Series. The first halfof the year, it's on A or
on yeah, ABC and Fox,whether it's the local Fox or FS one,
So those get rebroadcasted again either onFS one or f S two throughout
the week. Okay. Now thatwe're in the second half, we're on

(34:21):
NBC and USA. So and thisis just the Cup Series, not the
xtentity, not truck Okay. Junethirtieth, they were on the NBC station
because of the rain and weather delaythey changed over to USA and that was
because of the Olympics tryout. Allright, hold on and come right back

this show. Denver Regen dot comis with me. By the way,
they do a compounded semiglutide and transeeppetidefor weight loss, and uh, I'm

(35:59):
telling you, starting at just twoseventy five a month, it's unbelievable compared
to all of the brand names. That fourteen hundred bucks. It's crazy.
We're going to talk about that andmore. I have a few text for
them about the stem cell stuff too. Now, Denise, listen, I
look this up during the break yearupset because you couldn't watch the entire NASCAR

(36:20):
series with Hulu live right, No, not totally see what? Okay?
Go ahead continue? Yeah. OnJune thirtieth, it started off on NBC,
but because it was rain weather extended, they had to switch over to
the USA. Because the Olympic trialswere going on. Got it, went

(36:42):
over to USA and went to recordit on my I was keeping an eye
on it on my computer because Iknew there was weather in that area.
I wanted to make sure that itwas continued to record. I went over
to USA to hit record and itdidn't record. Called on. I don't
know because when I called in onMonday, there was close to five hundred

(37:05):
complaints about this. They don't knowwhat went wrong. So wait a minute,
when you say record and it correctme. I do have I use
YouTube not Hulu now for my streamingfor the main stuff. But with Hulu
to record, is that within theHulu app. You can do it either

(37:25):
on the computer or on your TV. Yes, what I mean a cloud
DVR. It's just a cloud DVR. You go, got it, You
go to the menu, you clickrecord. That's it all right, all
right, because I know that youcan do that either way. With some
of these you can just do itto your computer and not to the cloud.
So it wouldn't let you record tothe cloud, and so you lost

(37:49):
it. Correct, So what doyou want? Well? Then this week
I recorded the entire race and whenI went into it, it had this
error on there and they had meclear the cash and clear the data and
it still wasn't there. But onTuesday it was is there any good or

(38:10):
bad streaming services? What are yours? Well? Experience? I like YouTube
live. I love YouTube live. Now I will tell you that I followed
Mark to Hulu he suggested it,and then followed him back over to YouTube
and I like YouTube way better.Mark. What was the main reason you

(38:34):
switched from Hulu to YouTube? Mybiggest reason is how often we travel.
We travel all around the country, and you can only change the zip code
on Hulu a couple times before itbecomes a phone call and just pulling teeth
where YouTube could care less. Soonas we pull up to a new place,
bam, bam bam. I stillhave Denver locals, and I'm sitting

(38:55):
in California right now. Man,It's never an issue, So Denise,
go ahead. What's the difference betweenYouTube TV and YouTube live? Okay,
A big difference. YouTube live islike Hulu live. YouTube is where you
go on and they show you videosand they play average. But I know
what she's asking though. YouTube TV, I believe is the same as YouTube

(39:19):
live. But regular YouTube is justYouTube Okay. You can see a lot
of the things on YouTube after they'veaired. YouTube live or what I call
YouTube TV, they're both the same. YouTube TV has both live and recorded,
but part of the YouTube live isin YouTube TV. So you go
to you go no, you goto TV dot YouTube dot com, tv

(39:42):
dot YouTube dot com. Yeah,or you can go to regular YouTube and
scroll down the menu to YouTube live. When you go to YouTube live or
YouTube TV, you have a choice. You can look up network programming that
has been recorded or has been excuseme, that is being streamed when you
on it on demand, or youcan go to the guide and look at

(40:04):
live programming. In the DVR.The DVR is way better than Hulu.
It's just yes, I could recordevery single thing on that menu at any
time and everything would be there,So I would say that's what I would
do at this point. The otherone is Fubu. I had fub I
don't free It was okay, Wellwhat I liked about if Fubuo's got a

(40:29):
ton of sports. I know you'renot big into sports, but my god,
they have every everything you can imagine. And then the other one is
Sling TV. But what you shoulddo all of them offer a free trial.
Go on there, try each ofthem, see what menu you like,
see what one works for you. They don't hold you to long term
contract to these. I got togo back to Hannah and Marjorie. I
want to just recap this. Youknow. What happened was Frank, Marjorie's

(40:52):
brother died in a parking lot.The corner showed up, turned it over
to a public administrator, and thepublic administrator took a month getting in touch
with next of kin Marjorie, andthey're very upset about this. Meanwhile,
they wanted to know what happened toall this stuff. But I need to
ask some basic questions either of Hannahor Marjorie about Frank the uncle who died.

(41:16):
Now, I know it was shockingand it was terrible, and who
knows who dropped the ball? Youfound out a month later. But what
I need to know is this, what was his estate? Was it the
biggest states? So he did notown a home? No? Okay,
So now keep going with your story, okay. So found out February twenty

(41:40):
second that he had passed. Margiecalled the public administrator. I am her
personal caregiver. I called the purposepublic administrator to find out exactly all the
details and everything, and then thepublic administrator went quiet, like, stopped
returning phone calls. Ended up spendingfourteen hundred dollars invoice. I offered to

(42:06):
pay this invoice for his vehicle andany personal belongings in that apartment. Okay,
come to find out on because Iended up going to Colorado Springs and
the public administrator wouldn't meet with methat day, so I went to his
apartment complex where he was living. The public administrator released his apartments on February

(42:35):
nineteenth to be cleaned out. Wedidn't find out till February twenty five.
Where's all this going though, Idon't get it. Well, the public
administrator, before contacting next of kin, released the apartment to be re rented,
so the landlord cleaned it out.Is that correct? And ease?
That is correct? Okay, sokeep going. So what about the car?

(42:55):
Where's the vehicle? Well, thevehicle is parts in front of the
public administrator's investigator's house, along withtons of other people's belonging to what other
people that have died? Wait aminute, do they have a scam going?
Wait? Wait, wait wait, this public administrator is collecting all of

(43:17):
these cars, yes, and someat a car lot without Are you sure
of that? I said, whereon my life I sent you the video
of Katie r O in Colorado Springsgetting involved in all of this? Now
what did kay? What we know? K our deal? That's where our

(43:40):
our show is aired down there,So what did they do? They have
been investigating her and they've been amazing. Help Wait I thought you said that,
okay her, I'm sorry. Whois that public administrator? What's her
name? Catherine Fields? And ifyou look up her reviews, you're going
to see that she charges family's outrageousamounts all administrators do. Okay, so

(44:06):
Catherine Fields, you said heal sE E L got it? Okay,
Catherine Seal. Now she what doesshe do with the money after she sells
these cars? No idea? Shesays, you don't get anything. Well,

(44:27):
come on that that was on herinterview with the radio with the news.
Who's the reporter down there? Weneed to get them on, who's
the I'm already on it. Okay, thanks Mark, hold on, guys,
hold on, We're going to lookinto this, okay, hang on
three oh three seven one three talksseven one three eight two five five.
This is outrageous but not surprising.I would like to get on sometime during

(44:52):
the show, Dan McKenzie to talkabout how this can happen and what they
can do and where records would bekept on it. So you hang on,
okay, and then we have morecoming up. I want to ask
uh, doctor Joel Tridak, who'swith us today? Okay? On the

(45:15):
regen stuff, we talk a lotabout the weight loss compounding stuff. Let's
talk about this stem cells, whichof course were a remarkable help to a
lot of people. Somebody wants toknow, do you ever do stem cell
therapy or regenerative therapy? In feet. Have you done it in feet?

(45:38):
For I imagine they have sort ofwhatever pain whatever. The short answer is
yes. I mean we can treatany joint in the body, Okay,
So you know, if it's toes, if it's angles, if it's the
metatarsals, you know, the bonesbetween the toes and the angles, we
can treat that. If it's aligament or tendon tear like an Achilles tendon

(45:58):
tear, we can treat that.We can treat the small ligaments in the
foot. So the general answer isyes. You know, we depend on
the condition and the patient. Uh. But the answer to the question do
we treat someone else to know? When do you use PRP instead of stem
cells? PRP is very effective fortreating inflammation or very small muscle or ligament
tears, UH tendonitis like tennis lessexpensive, it's considerably less expensive. Yes,

(46:24):
and you can do either or ora combination thereof. Well, all
of our stem cell procedures include PRPOkay, But PRP by itself can be
effective for certain conditions, uh.Not for regenerating cartilage, not for regenerating
a whole joint, but for UHtendonitis, for epicondylitis, for ligament,

(46:44):
tendons, small tears. Okay, that's Denver Regen dot com. More coming
up, Go with a sure thingDenver's best roofer Excel roofing dot com.

(47:59):
if we can get our attorney on, I'd like to ask where records
are kept or required to be keptby public administrators. Hey, Michael,
what's going on with Camping World?By the way, you know, I
gotta tell you something. Camping Worldwent to hell. This guy took it

(48:20):
over. This I don't think hewas responsible for making it go to hell,
but it was an organization at onetime that just was so good and
went so bad and then marked thatguy from MSNBC, you know, had
the show on there. What wasthe profit? The profit bought Camping World?
Probably it's been quite a while, but let me I do want to

(48:42):
say this when we talk about CampingWorld, all of them since COVID seemed
to have more and more problems justgetting stuff fixed. I mean, it's
like feast or famine in the campingworld. Yeah, so, Michael,
what's going on with you? Yeah, there's a lot of opportunity for them
to make a lot of money, and they're sure taking advantage of it.
Now, what does that mean? What does that mean? An opportunity to

(49:06):
make a lot of money? Whatdoes that mean? With COVID? There's
a lot of a lot more peoplecamping as we're all, oh, yeah,
there's a there's the business is booming. What's your problem with them?
So? My problem is last fall. We bought a towing package from them.
We bought it and had it installedfrom them. We've made two trips

(49:28):
and last month we were leaving GulfShorts, Alabama, heading up to some
friends in Enophis, Tennessee. Tenhours on the road. Luckily, thank
god, right as we were pullinginto our friends street, loud bang,
with a scrape the front end.I sent, you're folk, your team?

(49:49):
What years? What year is thisRV? It's the twenty fifteen,
okay, But there's nothing wrong withthe RV. It didn't sustain any problem.
It ripped the front end of thecar off. So it's an RV
towing a car. Oh okay? And what cause? What caused that?

(50:09):
Well, the bolts backed off ofit. In fact, I was going
so slow I'd come from a completestop and the bolts were actually found on
scene, two of the three bolts. What do you think happened? They
just backed off? Now why Idon't know why they backed off and why
they chose that exact moment to backoff. If they had happened an hour

(50:30):
earlier, we'd have been coming upI fifty five, then we would have
ended up in a ditch. Whatwas damaged. What was damaged? If
anything? When these bolts came out, it took off. It took off
the front end of the car,the bumper, all the all the everything
from the frame forward. Okay,So what's going on? What do you

(50:52):
want? Now? What's the problem? So these things can happen and I
understand, and it can get workedout if a vendor steps up. Now,
now when you say when a vendorsteps up, you're blaming someone for
these bolts, who are you blaming? Absolutely the person that I bought it
and installed it and it can't Okay, So you bought the hitch at Camping

(51:16):
World. It's a it's a prettyadvance. It's a sixty towing package that
okay, now explain to me becausenormally RV's come with a towing package.
So this is where I'm a littleconfused. Yeah, I don't get it
either. Yeah, you purchased anaftermarket did a towing package? Did that

(51:42):
include the receiver and all of thattoo, that was married to your frame?
Yeah, it's actually car specific. So in this case, it was
an equinox and they attach it,bolted it to the frame of the car.
All the wiring is okay, Okay, now I get it. So
your RV didn't have the towing package. The RV came with a towing package,

(52:07):
and you bought a towing receiver ora towing package for the car to
match it. The RV comes witha hitch, it's just a standard two
inches. I get it. Butthe thing that failed wasn't the RV's hitch.
The thing that failed was this thingyou bought from camping World. Correct,

(52:29):
And what kind of vehicle? Whatkind of vehicle did it go on
to? For sixty five hundred bucksChevy Equinox. This makes no sense to
me. I just put one onour Santa Fe just as an emergency if
I had to move one of ourtrailers. I bought it for That's what
I don't understand, Mark, That'swhat I don't understand. What do they

(52:49):
do to the Chevy? Yeah? What do they do to it? They?
He said, they bolted stuff tothe frame and they wired it.
Now here most here's what hitches tothese hitches you buy per vehicle. They
lift the car up at a shop, they undo a copol frame bolt that
then I put it in. There'snothing to it well, and then they

(53:10):
wire it. But but Michael listen. I mean both of us are our
veers, by the way, sowe're well aware of what you're talking about.
But I need to know this. How many times had you towed it
since they installed it? When didthey install it? Uh? Followed last
year we'll call it November, Ithink eleventh. We had about three thousand

(53:34):
miles on the on the rig.Okay, and so what was the what
was the failure part to the bolts? Just break? What happened? They
backed out? He said, thebolts. The bolts backed out. Actually,
I sent pictures in where you cansee them holding the bolts, and
I want to see it. Look. Yeah, so I took it.

(53:55):
I called the camping World and there'sa lot of the amount of ignoring me
that they were able to do wasamazing. I finally, well, well,
when you say ignoring you, firstof all, it doesn't sound to
me. I'm just giving my firstblush that they It doesn't seem to me

(54:20):
they can get away with it.If they installed the damn thing, it
shouldn't come off. Okay, Imean, well it is. It is
eight months, but I agree withyou, But they are notorious. Camping
World is absolutely notorious for not callinganybody back with a service issue, period.
But I don't like this idea.I mean it sounds to me if
they put on a hitch, itshould be on there for life, well,

(54:44):
no absence of checking it every nowand then. But for goodness sakes,
were you towing it off road orwere you just normal highways? Just
normal highway up? I'm fifty fivein Mississippi. How many miles did you
say since it was installed? Didyou put on the toe hitch three thousand
on the toe hitch itself? Yes? Then that sucks. That should not

(55:09):
have come off. Now, areyou know? Hold on real quick,
Tom, Let's get Jeff vick On. And the reason I say that is
he literally just installed mine. Heknows how these things get Okay, okay,
go ask him how it can. That's a great idea. That's a
great idea. Hold on, Let'sget Jeff vick On and then we got
Dan McKenzie. I want to getDan McKenzie right now. Dan, are

(55:30):
you there, sir? Yes?Dan? I got a quick question,
Dan McKenzie McKenzie law, which isco plans dot COO And I'll give his
number. He does his state planning. He knows a lot about this.
Hey, Dan, some guy somecorner apparently comes up on a guy dead
in a parking lot to investigate anddoesn't search for family. That's not your

(55:51):
concern. Of course, a publicadministrator is appointed and the public administrator contacts
the family a month later. Meanwhile, they released his apartment before they contacted
family. His personal belongings were gone, but the public administrator took his car
and it's parked in front of herinvestigator's house. Now, when this family

(56:15):
went over to look, they sawabout They said about six cars there,
all from deceased people, and thatthe public administrator is selling them and claims
that she's not profiting at all fromit. Now, what is the normal
procedure if someone did die without familyand a public administrator takes over, what

(56:39):
where do the proceeds go. It'sin a state, just like a normal
estate. I mean, the publicadministrator has a piduciary duties. They got
to protect the estate. So sheshould go in and probably do what it
needs to be done to make surethat the apartment is secured. And then
you know, not running up arent that for someone who isn't there right

(57:00):
right to cure the personal property. If the car gets sold, those proceeds
go into the state bank account.Eventually the public administrator will get paid.
The court generally approves that, orat least it gets disclosed to the family
members. So they should be ableto see an accounting if they want to.
You know, if the errors wantto demand an accounting from her,
they promptly can get one. Itjust depends on how long it's been going.

(57:22):
So they should be able to seeall this information. And also,
Dan, I want to ask oneother question. If they wanted the car
as an air or as the can'tthey take it instead of her selling it.
They can't just take it because shedoesn't. I mean, there could
be a will or something out therethat just you know, it could have
a loan on it. There's allkinds of things that she needs to verify

(57:43):
the public administrator, I'm assuming. But once let's just say it's paid off.
It's a used car, paid off, no loan, and the sister
is the only heir. Can sheget the car? Yeah, but I
mean there is a you know, there's a process still of making sure that
it's going to the right person, that the estate is solvent, that you
know, she's if she just givesaway that car, and there's creditors out

(58:06):
there that didn't get paid, likethat might be a problem for the adminim
but but but ken, Okay,So, Hannah and Marjorie, I need
to ask you, is the publicadministrator giving you any kind of information?
No, she does not. Shequit contacting us completely completely. So they're
being ghosted, Dan, What didthey do if they want an accounting or

(58:29):
they just want to know a status? Yeah, I mean so if that
is happening, they really could goto the court and just ask the court
to require an accounting if the accountingsare acquired and reasonable with you know,
reasonable requests, or at least oncea year usually is kind of the rule
of home there. So I don'tknow how long this has been going on,
so far and so far that sofar, the administrator ran up a

(58:52):
bill for fourteen hundred bucks. Now, Hannah, did they did the administrator
ask for fourteen hundred from you?Because I'm my great aunt caretaker, I
was going to pay for it.But then the bill after I contacted Katro,
jumped to four thousand, one hundredand some odd dollars, you know,

(59:15):
And through Katro I found out thatshe had not been audited since twenty
seventeen. You know, Dan,you know how I feel about public administrators.
I feel that really it's a licenseto pillage and steal in my opinion.
But you know how I feel aboutit. And you know there's been

(59:35):
movies made about it, documentaries madeabout it. What do they do now
the bills? Does she have togive an accounting for that bill? Absolutely?
Absolutely, So you're you're if you'rean air, if you have an
interest in the estate. The onlyliving heir is the sister Marjorie, and
Hannah's the caretaker. Hannah's the caretakerof Marjorie. Yes, yes, okay,

(59:58):
And Hannah, do you have somedocumentations only like a power of attorney
you're a conservatorship? No, No, Marjorie has her wits about her.
Marjorie's just there is right, Yeah, okay, so then yeah, I
mean, you know, you knowyou might need to help Marjorie. I
guess request and you know, writethe public adminstor just say I would like
an accountant. Yeah, and alsoto see the inventory if you haven't seen

(01:00:19):
that then and if she ignores you, and we're going to call as well.
If she ignores you, you goyou have to go to the judge
in the probate court write a letter. You actually have court on August twenty
seconds for her to take over theescape because of thank goodness for Katro stepping
forward and helping us. Wait wait, wait, wait for who taking over

(01:00:42):
the estate? Catherine Field? No, no, you have a hearing.
She already took over the estate. So what's the hearing for. It's a
probate hearing for her fees and forher to be appointed for Frank after she's
already done all of this, She'sgoing to be appointed. Yeah, does

(01:01:06):
that sound right, Dan? Imean it seems like to do all this
stuff, she would have had tohave been appointed. That's right in a
hearing on C's But it might bea hearing to find out what she's done
so far because of the story thatKRDO did. Listen, we have to
take a break. Do you needhelp at this hearing because you can call
Dan off the air and ask him. But we have to run now.

man, uh, what are wegonna do about it? This guy
deserves some help here. This islet's get Jeff thick on. Jeff,
I want to I want to runthis by you. Camping World installs a
toe hitch on the front of hiscar. It's made for the car,
the Chevy Equinox. Well, itwouldn't be on the front of his car.
Wait wait, wait, where wouldit be on the back of his

(01:03:20):

the car so we could tow itbehind the RVD exactly. It's on the

of the car so it can hookup to the back of the RV.
Now what I want to know ishe had three thousand miles towing this Wait
wait, wait, wait, holdon, I got to say something right

(01:03:40):
here. I got that mixed up, because if he's doing four wheel towing,
that's a completely different thing. Sixtyfive hundred bucks is not out of
the question. Okay, all right, now, sixty five hundred bucks.
They put this toe hitch on.It's it's a bolted to the frame,
and he was towing this Equinox aboutthree thousand miles total, and the hitch

(01:04:08):
ripped out of the frame and ruinedthe equinox front and the bolts came off.
Now to me, Jeff, thatsounds something like not installed properly.
What about you? Yeah, itsounds like they weren't corked down. They
weren't tight enough. Eventually loosening thelad two, everything was allowed to shift,
to move and till it finally tore. I mean that shouldn't you be

(01:04:30):
able to rely on that damn thingfor life? And how would you prove
that happen? Jeff? Well,I mean the damage. You're right,
Tom, because what the guy's goingto get out and loosen it in?
No way? Yeah? So youhave all of the damaged parts, right,
Michael? Correct? Is it acamping world right now? The car

(01:04:54):
and the and the hitch? Whereis it? No? I I had
to get it fixed. I wasin Memphis and this was color on a
spring, So I held on thecar in and hold on. Did you
document absolutely everything? I think thoughI've got fairly good documentation. How much

(01:05:14):
was the total? Tell them whatto do, Bro, tell them Mark,
tell them what to do? Well? I mean small claims cord for
sure, but I'm curious about afew things. We trailer toe, and
I do that for a reason. That way I can toe whatever I want.
But on those four wheeled toes,I see a lot of people when
they're dropping their vehicle or hooking themup, they appear to sometimes be doing

(01:05:39):
a little bit of maintenance. Areyou supposed to check certain things each time?
I mean, if you ever referredto the manual, I just don't
know about them. Well, Jeff, I imagine you want to give it
an eyeball, right, pre flightthe damn thing, right, Jeff,
Well, it's just like anything elseyou're taking a long trip. You have
to look everything over, make surewe in good shapes. Yes, except

(01:06:00):
and I totally agree, but theboats are up on the frame. You
would have to get underneath with adolly and know they never gave instructions on
that I needed to do that.I obviously pre flighted the rest of the
car as I hooked it up,and things like that. I bet I
could get I wonder how much itwould cost him to get both sides over

(01:06:23):
to our folks up at lazy days, and I could have you know,
we still have a great GM upthere. I bet he would eyeball it
in that new service department they haveand at least tell him what he thinks
happened. I mean, well, here's the problem. It's all fixed now,
Mark, It's all fixed right now. Oh you know, and it

(01:06:44):
cost him forty one bucks. Yeah. Yeah, they weren't call them.
Don't rely off and go without acar. It was twelve days before they
would call me back. Yeah, you know, at this point would be
to reach out to the shop downto Memphis and see if station give you
something written down. That's a goodidea, Jess. Actually, yeah,
so they actually took a look atit. I got it to the Camping

(01:07:05):
World in Memphis. They took alook at it. They sent an email
with pictures back to this Camping World. They would never send me a copy
of the email, but the guywas pretty straightforward. He said, why
wouldn't they give you a copy ofthat email? Because they're both Camping World.
It sounds like, yeah it anWait, did Camping World charge you

(01:07:30):
to fix it? No, CampingWorld locally. I just needed them to
know, Michael, Michael did theplace in Texas? Was it a Camping
World? No? Okay, soyou're confusing the hell out of me.
You said it was a camping world, So the place that fixed it was

(01:07:53):
not camping World. Correct? Okay, some mark that they wasn't camping.
Well, well then why wouldn't thatplace give you the email? The Okay,
I don't know. I asked forit and they never sent it to
me. Well, you got toask for it again. I mean,
I don't know what to tell you. Bro. You need to get some

Hey man, you better stop that. Hey Tom, what is your question
on used car missions? Tom?See, we got another another, Tom,

(01:09:19):
you want to talk about used carmissions. I guess if you're selling
a car that is used in thestate of Colorado, it's got to pass
emissions. Whether you well, ifit's getting sold into a emissions regulated county
like Colorado Springs doesn't matter. Butin Denver, and even if you're an
individual, you don't have to givea voucher. That's right, that's right.

(01:09:43):
Or a dealership of course has threedays. Yeah, but you do
have to guarantee that. Yeah,so they can undo a deal even if
you're an individual. Now CJ hasa tenant landlord problem. We also have
Denver Region dot Com with us.We're going to get to some other questions
for them. I remember they doboth the regenerative medicine for joints and tendons

now, Tom was waiting a longtime. I want to go back to
him because when we went to him, for some reason, we couldn't talk
to him. He wanted to knowabout emissions on used cars. Hey,

(01:11:59):
Tom, go ahead, Hello,Yes, Tom, what's happening? Yeah,
okay, what's happening? Tom?I just wanted to find out if
used car dealers are still required bylaw to provide a three day voucher to
get an emissions test. Yes theyare, Okay. Good friend of mine
bought a car yesterday and they toldthem. The dealer told them, just

(01:12:21):
take you to the missions, youknow, and get your mission tests and
everything. You know. I'm surethey're hoping always that they take longer than
three days, but they should definitelygive them a voucher, right, that's
the last right, that's exactly right. That's what we need to know.
So they didn't. So if theygo back to them and say, hey,
where's my voucher? In other words, I think they want to get

(01:12:41):
them to pay for the emission testsupfront, and then if it passes,
it'll just be forgotten about it andall that, and they won't have to
pay for it. But if theyhave to, if they're required, then
they should go back today and getit. Well, I wouldn't Well,
first of all, I wouldn't doanything. I would go now, now,
how many hasn't been since they boughtthat car just last night? I

(01:13:03):
would go back today and say weneed the voucher. Right, That's what
I thought. Don't get the testand then go back, go back before
the test, and if they won'tprovide the voucher, they can undo the
deal. Do they like the car? Oh? I guess they do.
I think they probably paid too muchfor it. But what did they get?

(01:13:23):
I'm just I'm just curious. Whatdid they get? Some kind of
a Subaru I'm I'm sorry, somekind of a Maza seven rix something or
other. I think it was.Okay, Well, listen, man seven,
let me know what I mean ifthey need more help or if the
dealer gives them a hard time. Now three all three seven one three A

(01:13:44):
two five five CJ? What's goingon? High? CJ? Yeah,
I'm a landlord of a condo andself left Lake Wind Okay? The unit,
Yeah, and the unit above mejust did a remodel a month ago,
and they're best that is leaking anddoing damage to our bathroom. And

(01:14:05):
so actually it's I'm actually renting itto somebody else. I shouldn't say making
it. But he, my tenant, is just refusing to let them come
in to do the work. Wait, wait, wait, wait, why
is your tenant refusing to let themcome into repair? Your lease should automatically
have that provision in there that hehas to open it up for repairs.

(01:14:29):
It does. I just looked atthat, But I'll tell you what my
tenant has. Well, he's he'smad. I mean, I'm afraid he's
going to get really kind of I'mjust afraid there could be an altercation between
him and the owner upstairs because whenthey did the remodel, they they were

(01:14:49):
working for like a month and ahalf, working until ten pm. They
weren't being considered of noise, andit wasn't licensed contractors that were doing it.
So he's telling telling the tenant upstairsthat you know they don't even do
license work, that you know they'regonna have to rip. Yeah, but
what does that have to do?What does that have to do with you

(01:15:09):
fixing your condo. Well, nothing, it's just that they need to fix
it upstairs so we don't have anymore ladder coming down, right, Okay,
I get that. But right now, why your tenant is not allowed
to refuse it? You got totell him that you need to let people
in. Okay? So is thatis that a state law that I could

(01:15:34):
tell him, like a particular statelaw that I can just let him.
There is no state law. It'sin the lease. Every single lease I
got. I got it in everyevery single lease. I say that if
you didn't make it up yourself ona on a napkin, but if you
have a standard lease. Also,the h o A probably has a requirement

(01:15:56):
that people have to let them in. I would listen. If here's what
you say, it's very simple. Here's what I would say. Let's put
it that way. I would say, look, according to the lease,
you have to grant access for repairs. If you don't, I'm evicting you.
That is a grounds free eviction.Okay. And by the way,

(01:16:17):
nowadays you need grounds to evict you. That guy can stay there as long
as he wants. You're stuck withhim. You do know that, right,
What if it takes you know, three or four, five days of
them working in the the condo, and he's like inconvenience. She told me
he has to be there when they'reworking, and that she's going to have

(01:16:40):
to pay for his timelooks because that'shis problem. That's not your problem.
That's not your problem. You're nottaking on that liability. Now. If
he can't live there, that's onething. If he can't live there,
and you may have to compensate him. But does he have renters insurance?
Probably not. You should have requiredit. You should have required it.

(01:17:04):
So listen, the biggest nightmare inthe world nowadays is being a landlord.
It's not like it used to bein Colorado. Yeah, well, most
places, but you're right, inColorado especially, it is the biggest nightmare.
It used to be the biggest nightmarebeing a tenant. And somewhere there
was a pendulum that should have swunginto the center where it's fair, but

(01:17:25):
it's not. This state went fromextreme one side to extreme other and now
CJ. You don't even want toknow what happens if you want to get
rid of him. You know,I'm telling you, when is your lease
up? You know what the answeris? It's not up. Your lease
is never up, so you haveto renew it unless you have just cause.

(01:17:47):
This is one of those just causes. Again, if you didn't address
that in the in the agreement, you have to say, Look, you
work out whatever you need to workout, but you have to let him
in or I'm evicting you. You'sgot to play hardball. Okay. Is
this person someone that you think wouldwhat's that? Well, I just want

(01:18:10):
to know. I hear what you'resaying and everything that makes sense. But
can he ask and he asked themto put him up in a hotel for
three or four days, whether hecan ask them for a BackRub? I
mean, he can ask him foranything he wants. But so what that
has nothing to do with you, gotcha? Yeah. The only time he
can ask you for damages. Theonly time is if you did something to

(01:18:34):
breach your agreement with him, andyou didn't. Because part of the agreement
says he has to let people infor repairs. It doesn't say he has
to be there. It doesn't saythat you agree to compensate him. It
doesn't say that the neighbor agrees tocompensate him. This person is just being
a stick in the mud. Okay, yeah, why do you think you?

(01:18:55):
I mean, do you think whydo you think he's being such an
ass? Well? He well,I think I've wondered about that. I
wonder if like he is, heis like a Vietnam vet, and he
does have a dog in his house, and that would be very upsetting to
his dog. I'm sure to have, you know. Okay, so you're

(01:19:15):
saying that, you're saying he's anotherwise good guy and just cares about his
dog and his place. I understandthat, but you have to reason with
him and say, look, youknow you have to say this. It's
out of my hands. The Huarequires me to give access and I require
you to give access otherwise. Isn'ta good tenant? Let's put it that

(01:19:40):
way. Has he been a goodtenant? Really good? Yep? Okay,
good? Then I misjudge him.I thought he was a pain in
the ass tenant and this was justanother part of it. But if he's
a really good tenant, then justsay, look, we're both in this
together. They have to fix it. Well, he says, why can't
they fix it from upstairs? Becausethey just did the work and they didn't

(01:20:02):
do it right. With somebody thatwasn't licensed, and he says he thinks
they should. Here's the thing,it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter because
you have no choice but to letthem in, and he has no choice
because it's agreed to. Okay,it's agreed. Just just telling that you're

(01:20:26):
both in it together. You're requiredby the bylaws the HA to let them
in and he's required by least tolet them in. Okay, say look,
I don't like it any more thanyou do, but it has to
be done. Three oh three sevenone three eight two five five. By

called ticket Secrets, which, bythe way, I should mention they are

(01:22:00):
on the Better Business Bureau. Ijust didn't want to get into it.
They're just I don't even know whattheir function is other than to collect money.
They do nothing for consumers. Nothing. Brenda Ticket Secrets A plus rated
on the Better Business Bureau. Howwere you ripped off? Hello, hey
Brenda, how were you ripped off? Well, you know, my family

(01:22:24):
had used turb before. They hadgotten good fees for a decent price,
so I decided to give it atry. So in September of last year,
she started selling Morgan wall and tickets. Yeah, I heard about that
she was doing. So she wasdoing a payment plan for it. For
both days I got them, Ipaid them off by the date she gave
me, and then the next daywe wanted to go to a residency show

(01:22:49):
for Lady Gaga in Vegas, andI got tickets for that. Yeah,
and did they? Were they goodtickets? Well, she doesn't exactly tell
you where your seat is. Shetells you no. But what I'm asking
is did you get that? Didyou actually go to the Lady Gaga concert?

(01:23:09):
I did not, So on Friday, I messaged her at about ten
am, and I asked her,Hey, what time am I getting my
tickets? She opened the message. She right after she opened my message,
she posted about selling Taylor Swift tapetickets and New Orleans. I believe,
so wait a minute, Wait aminute, why did you keep buying?

(01:23:30):
You bought tickets in September twenty twentythree for Morgan somebody, Morgan Owen,
and then the following day of MorganMolland, which was at this last Saturday,
I was going to go to LadyGaga in Vegas. So I trusted
her, and I bought tickets fortwo days in a row, and I
bought flights and everything. We leftin the morning. I waited all day

(01:23:53):
on Friday for my tickets, andshe posted about Lady Gaga or sorry Taylor
Swift messaged her about Taylor Swift tosee if I would get a reply,
to see if she was ignoring me. Well she was, because when I
asked her about Taylor Swift, shereplied right away. So then I said,
okay, oh man, so thismy first woman basically is a total
scam. Yes she is. SoI never got my Morgan wall and tickets.

(01:24:19):
I never got my lady God gottickets. Fortunately, she replied that
that day at around seven eight o'clockand she sent me all my money back.
But what I'm upset about is thatI had tickets to go to Vegas
that weekend. You're lucky you gotyour money back. How did you get
your money back? Well, Iwas really persistent. I just kept messaging

(01:24:41):
her and I was like, well, are you going to refund me because
I'm sitting outside the stadium with notickets. Do you have a phone number
for this lady. There's a numberthat was on her website, but she
doesn't answer that number. Does itgo to voicemail? So that day it

(01:25:01):
was ringing, ringing, ringing, and then towards the end of the night
it was just going straight to voicemail. But yeah, there's a number that
she auto replies with like when youmessage her on Facebook or you text her
to that number, and she replies, what's the number? What's the number?
Okay? Seven to zero six zeroeight seven five eight seven. Kelly

(01:25:25):
left a message too and said shewas looking for tickets and called back.
So this woman's not as he knowswhat happened to her? Is it six
zero eight seven five eight seven?Correct? Okay seven to zero six zero
eight seven five eight seven. I'mgoing to text her. Does she answer

(01:25:45):
to another lucky one? Yeah? She does answer text. I was one
of the lucky ones that got theirmoney back. But there's a lot of
people that did not. Oh no, there's a ton of people that did
not. Yeah, and man, this is crazy. I'm going to text
with my Google number here and askwhat the hell she's doing? This is?

(01:26:08):
This is absurd. And she hasa She posted that she had a
really big family emergency and she wasnext to a computer or a phone and
that's why she was willing. Isthere an outside chance that that's true,
that she was good at one timeand then screwed up or what I think?
I think there is because I havefamily members that have purchased tickets from

(01:26:29):
her in the past, and theygot lucky. They got their tickets.
Stay up and they got good tickets. Okay, well, so she did
come through. She has come throughin the past for some tickets. But
she knew that she had messed upbecause a few days before she was posting
on her Facebook that she was buyingmore than want tickets. If anybody wanted

(01:26:53):
to get rid of them, allright, well, hold on second and
we will add you to the list. Okay, A joel a chered act.
Somebody wants to know about. Howdo they know if they're getting compounded
semiglutide or tzepetide for weight loss? How would they know if they're getting the
real stuff? I mean, truly, that's a good question. I mean

(01:27:15):
the only reason I know is becauseof you. I mean, seriously,
how do you know? Well, you want to use a reputable clinic that
is an existence, you know, that's a brick and mortar clinic like ours.
We vet the compounding pharmacies that weuse. And let's just say this.
You use these pharmacies for way morethan just that, right, We
use it for a cystosterone for anumber. Yes, so you know them

(01:27:39):
through experience Here's what they all havein common. They all have in common
is they all use an independent thirdparty laboratory to test each batch that they
That's what the good ones have incommon. And they'll be able to produce
that documentation for its purity and itssterility. And we can get that documentation
any patient down they have to beinspected, then they do have to be
they do, and you can askfor that documentation. We yeah, we

(01:28:02):
get that documentation from are yours uspharmacies? Yes? Okay? Would you
be skeptical using Chinese, Indian andother kinds of pharmacies? I wouldn't want
to use those pharmacies. In fact, I wouldn't even want to use a
pharmacy that was just an online pharmacy. I would want to establish clinic that's
a brick and mortar clinic that youcan physically go and see the doctor if

(01:28:25):
you want to that. It's notjust no, that's for the clinic,
but for the for the compounding pharmacies, they don't have to be brick and
mortar, do they or No,Well, I mean to make a product,
they have to be brick. No, you know what I mean.
But I mean, they don't haveto be in your neighborhood, right,
No, no, no, nono. The pharmacies, the pharmacies we
work with are out of Texas, out of Utah, and out of Arizona.
Okay, so they're legit pharmacies thatyou have experienced with. So the

(01:28:47):
bottom line is is that you needsomeone who knows the source. And you
should never blindly go on the internetand order crap ever, I mean not
when it comes to this stuff.Whoever you're ordering it through, whether it's
Best or another clinic, you canrequest that you get the documentation showing the
testing from the compounding. And here'sanother thing. You actually do provide doctor

(01:29:11):
consultations throughout the program. The onething that we do that I don't know,
I mean, you really do that. I don't think any other clinic
does. Is our medical doctors willactually call you every months to see how
you're doing. Yeah, nobody doesthat. Yeah, so they do do
that. Or you can call themif you have an issue or text and

three eight two five five All right, Deputy Dock yesterday A guy calls in
and uh, okay, oh yeahyeah. So here's what he says.
He says he got a duy backin twenty sixteen. He had an interlock
device on his car, and theprovider for it uses, which is called

(01:30:43):
smart Start. Interlock uses Advanced Autoglassand Highlands Ranch to install and maintain the
device, and Advanced Autoglass is supposedto do these downloads and calibrations and send
them to smarts and then Spartstart's supposedto send it to the state DMV department.
And I didn't realize this reporting isnecessary. And so now his license

(01:31:11):
was suspended because they were not sendingin the reports. Now we don't know
if it was Advanced Autoglass in Highland'sranch, or if it was smart Start
or whoever dropped the ball, Sowhat is going on with that? The
poor guy's going to lose his license. Okay, I called Advanced Autoglass.
I spoke to Aaron, who bentover backwards to help Sam. Sam was

(01:31:36):
being really obnoxious and wouldn't listen, and he was making really was amazing.
He was good. Thank you.Told Sam, look, it is a
software problem. We automatically gets sent. If it doesn't get sent, it's
because there's a software which when weput it on computer automatically supposed to go

(01:32:01):
to the appropriate place. Sam wouldn'tlisten to that. But after five minutes
so we finally got Sam to calmdown, and Aaron said he's gonna take
care of it. I spoke toSam today and everything was taken care of.
Are you kidding, doc? Idid? May? Okay, hold

(01:32:42):

president almost. I just want Ijust want my salary doubled. Okay,
that's what we'll do. We're gonnadouble the salary. Two slices of pizza,
right, I have to give haveto get really good props to Aaron.
He was amazing. Is Aaron thegeneral manager over there? Ye had

(01:33:05):
advance autoglass he's the manager, Okay, because he does deserve that for sure.
And no serious, Doc, Uh, you've really been hitting him out
of the park. And but buthere's the deal. Why was you mentioned
that a couple times here? Whydo you think the consumer was so you

(01:33:26):
know, nasty about it? Well, because he's frightened that he can't go
to work, and okay, andbecause then he can't, so it's it's
you know, but he was interprisI mean, you wouldn't listen to this
at first. He wouldn't listen toAaron. He kept saying you did something
wrong, and Ada was trying tosay, look, it's a software which
when we put it in our computer, it automatically, it's supposed to automatically

(01:33:48):
get sent somewhere. So if weenter it, we did our job and
somehow the software. But we'll we'lltake care of it. We'll find out
what's going on and we will wewill follow up on it. And he
did, and Sam's is getting hislicense. Wow, God, that's amazing
that that you you. I didn'tthink we could even get through this red

(01:34:11):
tape like that. So here's thethe dinger. You get my dinger,
and Aaron gets my dinger, andeveryone gets my dinger. All those on
YouTube get my dinger. And I'meven gonna give my dinger to Denver Regen

(01:35:21):
think they do a pretty good job. Colorado and Company. The one I
started used to be Martino TV turnedinto Colorado's Best I think on Fox thirty
one. Right, I've done thatbefore for that one. And then does
seven have its version of one?Not that I know of. They're they're
paid for play programs I used toI used to do mine, of course,

(01:35:43):
and I would always only use thepeople I knew that were my sponsors
anyway, you know that I knew. But normally those shows are you know,
it is what it is. Youhave. You have a fixed audience,
though I don't think they attract alot of new viewers or is there's
some kind of day time audience Andand one person used to complain to me

(01:36:03):
that ally at is daytime TV arepeople on unemployment. We get a lot
of stay at home yeah people.Of course, the genographic is like eighty
eight percent women. Yeah yeah,But I've heard some people say those shows
either hit a home run or nothing. I mean, it's like no in
in between. But in any case, I'm glad. So Mark, you

(01:36:23):
looked at the video, man, this this where you? Where can we
see the video? It's just kindof fast forward. He'll show it to
you right here, but fast forward. The difference is remarkable in ninety days.
Yeah yeah, yeah, okay,So anyway, Deputy, I know,
not deputy, I mean, Jesse, what's going on with you?

(01:36:44):
Jesse? Well, mama just receiveda letter from a housing authority, you
know, but I just barely wentby. She don't get her checked till
the third of every month. Yeah, every month. I'm live in eight
I go make her money or elsewhere. Let me let me ask you.
I'mpting, Jesse. Has this beengoing on a lot because she gets her
check on the third? No,this is this ain't but the manager's been

(01:37:08):
having a personal problem with me.She's been writing me up for loud music
with no proof. I mean, now, do you live with do you
live with? Her I was doing. Do you live with her? I'm
on the least, but I don'thave the same rights as she does.
Okay, so you live. Iwant to try to get an accurate picture
here. You live with your mom, You're both on the lease, and

(01:37:29):
the manager has something out for you. It seems like it, because she
keeps writing me up with no proof. I can't even go into office.
She won't let me go into office. When my mom goes in her to
argue these write ups, I'm notallowed in there because I get too loud.
Well, how am I supposed tobe when I'm being a choos of
stuff that I'm not doing? Okay, what are she accused? Here's what
I think, Jesse. If youwant to know what I think's going on,

(01:37:50):
I'm going to tell you what Ithink is going on. With the
new law. Listen to this. They have to have what's called just cause
in order to cancel a lease wherethey don't have to renew it. I
think they might be trying to builda case when it comes around, because
I mean, she won't even letme go in there and defend myself.

(01:38:12):
She and when I prove that there'sno proof about me playing loud music or
any of the Well, let melet me ask you straight up, do
you do you play any music, whether you think it's loud or not?
Do you play any music inside there? Right? I'm always at night.
I don't even go outside anymore becauseI'm worry that she's gonna try to tow
me. But when you're inside, what I mean is, are they saying
the music is too loud? Again? Inside? Me playing it loud?

(01:38:33):
Outside she's trying to sit here andtell me she sat next door in the
in the golf cart the maintenance usesand listen to me playing it loud.
Why would she lie about it though? What is what? What does she
have to gain? I don't know. I don't I don't understand that.
She told me the same thing.Well, why would these people keep saying
this, this and that about you? I said, I don't know.

(01:38:54):
I kind of explain why people aredoing what they're doing. There's gotta be
something, And you just said thesepeople so it's not just one point.
Well, hold on, hold on, Jesse, and have a polem with
me. But the landlord has I'vealready been seeing on me out. She's
been calling me in here because ofwhat they're telling her. Now, hold
on, why are the tenants? You said a few tenants have a problem
with you too? Is that right? Yeah? Why? I don't know

(01:39:17):
they? I don't know. Everybodytried to talk to me. Everybody hates
him, and he has no idea. Why come on, Jesse, Jesse?
Have you nobody? I keep myhead down on, mind my own
business. They tell me, hello, I don't have dolledge nobody. I
keep walking because I don't know what'sgoing to happen. Okay, so you
don't know why, But for somereason, listen, I'm not could it

(01:39:38):
be? I'm just asking this becauseI know people are weird. Do you
think there's anything about your appearance thatscares people? I don't know what it
is. I can't I don't knowwhat what anybody's problem is. I don't
know. Now, how many, when you say people, let's just let's
just put some perspective on this. How many of the tenants nobody? Okay,

(01:40:00):
but but you said some of thetenants don't like you. About how
many of them? Do you think? There's like maybe four of them that
I know of. They don't likeme. They actually look at me crazy
and talk crazy to me threatened toget people to beat me up. Why,
I don't know, because I Idon't know, man, I really
don't. I don't do what yougotta do. Okay, so let me

(01:40:25):
ask you this one thing here. How old are you? When I'm almost
I'm forty nine? Okay. Thelast time someone said something about they're going
to get someone to beat you up? Was that? Just like like,
were you just walking through and someonecame up and said, Hey, we're
gonna get someone to beat you up? No? I mean, I don't

(01:40:46):
know. I was down here justwatching this. She always feeds the cats
over here by the corner by mymom's house. That's one of the tenants
that has a problem with me.And her dog ain't on her leash.
That's another reason why she got aproblement because her dog will go in front
of my mom's and my mama askedher to pick it up, and she
starts talking crazy, Where's did that? Where's that? So then I'm like,

(01:41:06):
well, so where does this standright now? Are you guys being
threatened with eviction? Yeah, wegot the papers today. She signed it
on Monday, but she already hadit in the milk today. Okay,
let me ask you something. Whenis your Lisa? When is your Lisa?
I don't know. They haven't calledher injury knew it yet. No,

(01:41:28):
Well, they're not going to they'reevicting her. What what is the
reason they're giving for eviction? We'renot paying the rent this month, but
we sent it on the third,We got the receive. Yeah, and
she signed this eviction notice on Monday, but she didn't get it in the
milk tel today. Why does shewait? Why does she post it on
the door like they usually? Whenis when is rent due? It's usually

(01:41:49):
due on the what the fifth? The third? Mama gets a check on
the third, but she has totell the fifth to get it in.
But it would fourth of July weekend. It sounds it sounds like that.
It sounds like they want it.They want e victims. I know,
but I'm telling them we didn't donothing wrong. That's what I keep trying

(01:42:11):
to tell you. Man. Idon't even talk to nobody. I keep
my head down. I don't evengo out there unless I have to go
get my mom's nord or or gether medication or something. That way,
they could quit messing with us.But even being inside, they're still messing
with me, man, I'm nowtake the cression. Did your mom talk
to them since she got that evictionnotice and say, look, the check

(01:42:32):
is there, she's got lunch. The matter has been at lunch since eleven
thirty. Okay, I'm gonna getdeputy doctor. Seriously, it sounds weird
to me. What's going on.I'd like to get another perspective of this.
Hold on out another thing too.She has all these senior citizens taking
their money owners and talking them offat the office to her instead of mailing

(01:42:53):
them in like they've been doing.I think they're trying to get my mom
to give it to her because theygave my girlfriend. I got a girlfriend
at Lizard too. They gave hera bitch you noticed too, for not
paying a rent. And they sendthem both at the same time to go
check the milk. Is your girlfriendon the lease? She has her own
apartment over here? Yeah? Oh, she has her own apartment over there.

(01:43:15):
Okay, and she's and she's beingevicted. And she's also being evicted
notice today. But why is shebeing evicted for the same reason not payming
the rent? All right, Holdon a second, let's give this to

therapy, they do weight loss withsemaglutide enters epetide. So if you have
any questions for him, he's here. And well, we have a few

(01:46:44):
faxed questions. And then we hadChris who had a question on small claims
court, and he said, what'sthe statue limitations? It depends on what
you're suing for. So let's hearyour situation, Chris, what's going on?
It's we had several I guess whenyou get back to a corner for
so many years, tell yeah, that's what I kind of heard in your

(01:47:05):
voice that you were kind of pissedoff or frustrated. So why don't we
go through that. What's going on? Let's let's parse it out. What's
going on with you? Well,I've got a storage facility here in the
Denver Metro area that I've been withfor eight or nine years because I were
about account as well, and Iasked to travel abroad, and they have

(01:47:26):
my credit card on file and sometimesI'm a little bit difficult to get a
hold of, but they had fullauthorization, and there's a pattern of them.
They knew that they could just chargemy card either every month or every
quarter for my storage and I hadtwo storage units and without they called me
and said when I was abroad andsaid, we you know, we need

(01:47:48):
to get payment on it. Isaid, well, you guys have the
card on file and there's money inthe account, so there should be no
problem there to just go ahead andhit it. And they didn't do it.
They ended up selling everything I own. And wait wait wait, wait,
wait wait, you had two storageunits for ten years yep, with

(01:48:09):
a credit card on file, that'scorrect. Did your credit card expire?
Nope? Well then why didn't theyrun it? Because they're understaffed and they
didn't do it. That's their excuse. And you've never got any notice or
anything. Nope. I got tonotice afterwards it says both of your units

(01:48:31):
were sold. When did they sellit? This happened over Christmas last Okay,
Okay, here's what I need toknow. What did you have in
there? Let's be real now aboutit. How much stuff did you have
in there? The kind of like, yeah, you and I have crossed

(01:48:55):
paths before, and I know youpretty well. So imagine taking everything out
of your primary residence and having twolarge storage tunes. Okay, memories,
everything you know I had. Ihad a dad that worked in Hollywood.
I had a lot of memorabilia. All of our furniture had a bar I
bought from an FBI agent. Nowwhat would you say, why was it

(01:49:17):
in storage for ten years? Well, my wife is sick, so we've
just really slimmed down. She's abreast cancer patient. She's got stage four
terminal and we've just really focused onthat. So we're on a coach.
We've been living out of our coach, and you know, our plan was,
you know, after the end hiss, if you know what I mean,

(01:49:43):
that I would regroup and probably getby a town home or something like
that. So everything was safe, safe. So I was fine with that.
And we know christ you Christian, and you had a credit card on
file and there was no reason why, no, no reason. What do
you want to do about you wantto sue? Like, what are you
valuing your stuff at? Well?I believe it's seventy five dollars is the

(01:50:09):
max on what I can do unlessI want to kick it up the district
and really get innartly with it,which I really don't. But my question
is, so we had two units. When was in my wife's name and
when was in my name? Somy thought like, you can do two
separate lawsuits, two separate lawsuits, but I want to do one against the
facility, and I want to doa separate lawsuit against the manager, the

(01:50:31):
general manager of the facility who hadthat. Well, you don't do it
that way, Okay. What youdo is you each have one lawsuit against
both parties. Correct, You don'tget to collect seventy five hundred from each
party. So what I'm getting atis this, if you go to small
claims court, you would sue themanager and you would sue the facility in

(01:50:54):
each case. So you have twolawsuits. What's that they'll drop the manager
off of it? Though, Ohthey will, Yeah, they almost always
do that, now, Chris, you know you will. You do have
a good case here? Did theysince tell you why they didn't run the
card never understaff and the manager wassick and she was upside. But did

(01:51:16):
she admit that saying we should havenot done it? I have an email
on that, really, I'd liketo see that email. Yep, I'll
send it over. And so didthey say they would reimburse you? Did
they make any did they make anykind of settlement offer whatsoever? Nothing?

(01:51:41):
Whatsoever? That is so gnarly.I don't believe it they made. Did
they did they expect you to justtake it like tough? Come on,
man, it's just right time.Imagine everything you own, you know,
I know what you're great watches,and you're this, and you're that,

(01:52:04):
right down to like wooden spatulas, and my cutlery is just everything, all
of my tools. I had threeboxes of tools in there and everything's done.
How much did you pay monthly forthis? Wait? How much did
you pay monthly? Uh? Threeninety and three forty you wait? Wait,

(01:52:27):
wait, wait are you telling meyou paid seven hundred dollars a month
for ten years? Eleven years?Actually eleven? Bro the stuff wasn't worth
it. I mean, at somepoint you gotta you have to like say,
what the hell was I doing well, we were getting to that point
that we were like, I meanseriously, no, no, no,

(01:52:48):
I mean this is so for foroh my god, Okay, Tom,
I had I had a book collectionin there. I was a little bit
of a book ord and I hadsigned books first edition, Rudyard Kipling's name
it. But but you paid, you paid ninety two thousand dollars one hundred

(01:53:10):
I calculated one hundred thousand dollars. All right, Well, okay about it's
where I'm at. It's seven fiftynot seven hundred. Oh okay, all
right, bro, I mean therewas no way anything that's not That's not
the point. I know that there'sit's my stuff, though, I want

(01:53:32):
to know that one hundred and fiftythousand dollars. Well, you could have
paid anything you wanted to. Chris, You're You're right, Chris, You're
right, you could have paid. But what I'm talking about is this.
Listen carefully, because this is irreplaceable. Chris. Actually, there's nothing in
my life irreplaceable extent people. Okay, agree with between. No, No,

(01:53:55):
I'm really serious. By the way, I know there are people who
say they have stuff that you're replaceable. I have nothing in my life that
is irreplaceable, nothing except people. So when it comes to this kind of
stuff, there are things that are, but most of us don't own anythings
that are. Oh okay, Idon't have anything that's irreplaceable, but either

(01:54:18):
do I. But I'm saying, like Declaration of Independence, that's the dear
ribbon. I'm not I'm not denyingthat there are people like Chris who have
things that are very important and notat all. But here's the problem.
Here's the problem, and this isthis has been on, This has been

(01:54:38):
going on for millennia, and thatis this. The courts don't recognize that.
I understand. They only recognize inthe way I look at this entire
situation, it doesn't matter whether itwas irreplaceable or whether I had, you
know, nine thousand cases or riverdog poop in there. It doesn't matter.
It might right, that's right. And if they did you wrong,

(01:55:03):
then you would be entitled for youAnd I think they did. I mean
they had that, they admitted theydid. They could have just run your
card. I mean, my god. And so what they're saying is I
was out of the consent my wife'scancer treatment. How is your wife doing

(01:55:25):
he's got stage four terminal breast cancer. How long is she ran? God?
Sixteen years and she's been on trialdrugs. She gets the best of
the best. She gets all ofher carried. Well, my god,
she stayed alive. But she whenshe was first diagnosed, it wasn't stage
four, was it? She wentto stage four right away? Oh my
god? So she has been fightingthis for sixteen years. That's correct.

(01:55:50):
Wow, he's a rock star.He's a grinder. How's she doing now?
All her quality of life is good. She has her pain. She
just lost all of her hair lastweek for the first time. All of
our child drums that she's been on, she never had to lose her hair,
but they shifted her over to somethingelse and they warn us her beautiful

(01:56:14):
walks, we're gonna come out,and I said, that's all right.
We just went down and had herhead shaved. So she's been a trooper,
Chris. So here's the deal. They if they did you wrong and
you can prove it, they're goingto owe you something that that's for sure.
They're going to owe you something.I mean, you may want to

(01:56:39):
talk to an attorney about it.I don't know, just at least talk
to one. Well, I'm workingwith Keller right now in another case,
so with who John Keller Fuller Fuller. I'm sorry, full John. John
will give you. John will giveyou some good information. He will,

(01:57:00):
now he probably won't represent you inthere's certainly this is not right, Eric
bro this is just not right.I'm sorry you have to go through it.
But so where have we met,Chris? Uh? Several times you
hit se charity events that we wouldI'm an aviation background too, you're what

(01:57:23):
aviation? Oh? Okay, solisten? Oh really okay? So are
you a pilot? I am?Okay, I was until my wife got
sick and then I quit working totake care of her. God, I'm
so sorry about that. Hey,listen. So anyway, the statute of

(01:57:45):
limitations, you're well within the statutallimitations for breach of contract. Okay,
but I think it's only what isit, mark three years? Or he
couldn't most But here's the deal.So you're breach happened in December. My
breach happened in December. That's whenour property was all disposed of. And

(01:58:06):
yeah, don't don't uh, Butwhat I don't understand is this, Why
were you notified even if they weregoing to do this, were you notified
it was being sold after the factthat it was sold? That No,
that's that's incredibly stupid. Mark.I don't see how this guy. I

(01:58:27):
wonder what the actual contract reads.I mean, if you don't pay,
I understand your reasoning why you didn'tpay. They were supposed to be doing
it automatically and they screwed up.I get it, But I am curious
what the agreement says. Right, there's a track record of them that we've
never missed any payments on our storage. Now listen, man, I believe
you one hundred percent. What I'msaying is though in the rental agreement.

(01:58:51):
I wonder what language it uses ifthey're not paid. Well, Mark,
I think it's a procedural by law, not by contract. I think they
have to do a certain there's certainprocedures for storage facilities. Do you mean
to sell the stuff? Yeah, typically it's after X amount of months not

(01:59:14):
getting paid. Well, here, let me let me put throw another rub
on this thing. You're gonna lovethis. I actually believe that the general
manager of the facility there was instrumental. She knew what I had in there.
I mean I had I had firearmsin there. Now I had to
contact people, and you know,I police report on my firearms that are

(01:59:34):
now gone, that are on thestreet, that are registered to myself and
my wife. And that's another trickyrub. But let's call over there.
Let's just call over there. No, I don't do that right now.
I don't. Just looking for somedirection, that's all, man. I
don't know if I would look Look, I don't know if I would limit

(01:59:56):
myself to fifteen thousand dollars unless, well, no listeners, I should be
able to have one case against thefacility manager and one case against the facility
itself. Bro, that's listen tolisten one listener and then one for me.
But you don't get to do that. Do you hear what I'm saying.
You don't get to do that. You don't get to get seventy five

(02:00:17):
hundred from the guy and seventy fivehundred from the facility for each of you.
You each get one byte at theApple. You're lucky you have two
separate contracts because you get two bytes. But you don't get to just name
defendants and then get statutory limits foreach defend just plaintiffs no defendants. I'm
sorry. You don't get to justname defendants and multiply your your damages.

(02:00:42):
You don't get to do that. That was my question. Yeah, So
if the small claims court has aseventy five hundred dollars limit, it's seventy
five hundred dollars per plaintiff. Ityou can sue the mice in there,
you can sue the manager, youcan sue the own. It doesn't multiply
the limit. Okay, so youare now limited. You had two contracts.

(02:01:08):
Your wife's gonna is gonna sue forher stuff and you're gonna sue for
your stuff. And if you dothat, and you may get fifteen thousand
dollars, but they might argue thateven though you have two separate contracts,
they may argue that the stuff isthe same. I don't know, man.

(02:01:28):
Like I said, I think it'sgonna be I think it's gonna be
even more complicated. And the reasonI think that if your contact information is
not correct from eleven years ago,and they actually try to notify you by
phone or by email or by snailmail that your stuff was going to be
sold off or it's going to beemptied that's gonna be on you for not
updating. Next No, the mark, I don't know how to come.

let's talk. Deputy Bow has somefollow ups. Deputy Baw, what's going
on? Yes, Tom, Igot positive outcome on this lady named Vonnie.
She called on June twenty fourth,on Monday at one o'clock hour.
You'll remember her. She was reallyin a panic. She had like twelve

(02:03:20):
moving boxes and she was trying tofigure out a way to get him out
onto the street or have someone helpher because she's seventy six years old.
She was being evicted due to majorrenovations. Yes, so I was able
to get a hold of several propertymanagers, and I did get a hold
of Manda. She's the main managerat the BRC property management company that manages

(02:03:48):
the apartment building, and she wasvery familiar with the show. She was
able to work out something where Vonniecould be relocated somewhere else in the building,
So that that's incredible. She wasvery sympathetic to Donnie's cause, and

(02:04:09):
I don't think Bonnie was really youknow, good understand a lot of things.
And Amanda even went further to gothrough Lonnie's original rental application and find
a sister out of State's sister, and they're going to contact a sister to
help Bonnie out. So Donnie doesnot need to move her boxes out and

(02:04:29):
does not need to move out ofthe apartment. But she just needs to
move into a different apartment in thebuildings, so they're going to let her
stay. That is so nice.My god, hold on, let me
get my dinger out. I can'tuse it too much. You know,
I'm seventy, but I used ittoday a couple of times. Anyway.
That is no, that is reallygood news. Seriously, man, that

(02:04:53):
really is VRC Property Management at twelveoh six peers. They really stepped can
help help this w lady. Youknow, it's so nice when people cooperate
and they just they're just human aboutit. You know, they're just human
about it. Brian, what's goingon with you? Brian? Welcome?
What's happening? Hey, Tom,thanks for taking the call. What's going

(02:05:15):
on? Brian? Got Well,my son as as smart as he can
be. I think he had apretty major fabou finding out the hard way.
He had a guy that ran astop light took off his front end
bumper on his brand new well brandnew to him. It's a twenty twenty
two Kia K five. He actuallybought it news, he's had it for

(02:05:39):
two years, and he bought insurance. The guy apparently had no insurance.
He was the truck was not registeredto him, so the impound of the
truck and basically he walked away.Well, then, come to find out,
my son went to go do aclaim for his to get it fixed.
Turns out that they say that hehad no collision insurance on his vehicle.

(02:06:04):
So so your son did not havecollision coverage, but the other guy
had no coverage at all. Correct, That doesn't mean the other guy can
just walk Where is the other guy? Well, luckily apparently the adjuster for

(02:06:25):
his insurance company, which is ProgressiveInsurance, was able to contact him and
all, and he said, oh, I got my truck out of I
impound because I bought insurance. Butthat doesn't help the matter what happened.
No, no, no, hold, you gotta sue. You have to
sue the guy. How much damage? How much damage is done to your

(02:06:45):
son's car? There's no want.He brought it over to pro Auto Care
just the other day and they gavehim a clean slate as far as mechanically.
But the front bumper, the radiatorwas pushed in little bit, but's
still functioning. No airbags, nocheck engine lights, no leakage, air
conditioning line was I mean, hegot really lucky. So basically it sounds

(02:07:10):
like all cosmetic. How much we'llget a body. They don't know yet.
He's waiting for a and what it'sgonna be. It's gonna be a
couple grand without blinking, always is. But he can go to court.
He can go to small claims court, get a judgment against the other driver
and collect. Here's what I do, though, I would actually call the
DA's office and they're probably not gonnado jack, but they might because he

(02:07:35):
did not have insurance. You needproof of that. They might go after
him criminally. Then you might getpaid even quicker. Yeah. They what
they do is they put they puta rid of restitution on that which he
can't get rid of. Now hewas given a ticket for no insurance,

(02:07:57):
right, Brian, Correct? Okay, do you have the case number?
Not yet. Actually, my son'swaiting for the police report. They said
it takes about a week. Okay. Then what he has to do,
it's very important. He has toask the DA to get a rid of
restitution for him because he didn't haveinsurance. They will do that for him,

(02:08:20):
and then your son wouldn't have togo to small claims court. But
if for some reason, if forsome reason, the DA won't get involved,
saying I don't know whose fault itwas. I don't know anything.
Is it Denver? Uh? Itcould be either Greenwood Village or Centennial.
That's probably good. Actually, yeah, but that's the steps he needs to

(02:08:46):
try to get the DA or insome cases, city attorneys handle this.
The DA or city attorney. Heneeds to get them to get this guy
and and and they have to orderrestitution. Okay, well, you know
what kind of messed up thing Ithought I was. Hold on a second,
let's come right back. Hold on, we got to take this break.
I'm Tom Martino. Go with asure thing Denver's best roofer Excel Roofing

on the outside of your house exteriorwise, so that's Genesis tootalex dot com.

(02:09:56):
They also do mold detection and mitigationright now, So listen, did
I just hear Dan say that hewrote a campaign song or some kind of
song? Correct? Is he goingto play that today? He said,
let's do it? No, youhave it right now. It's a parody
song. No, he's going todebut it on his show. No,

(02:10:16):
he's got no, no, no, let's debut it on our show.
Yeah, right, that would pisshim off. We can't steal his thunder.
So Brian, listen, man, real quick. I hope I cleared
things up with that. If yourson does not have insurance, he can
do two things. He can geta civil judgment against the guy, or

(02:10:39):
he can get a court order fromthe city ordering him to pay restitution,
whichever, or do both. Andthere's nothing else he can do. I
mean, that's it. I mean, but he's lucky he can drive his
car right now. He has toget a full estimate and then go after
him. But don't let any grassgrow on this one. Get get to

(02:11:03):
that deep, get to that districtattorney as soon as possible. They do
not have tolerance for people without insuranceunless you're an immigrant, so or if
you live in Denver. I gota question about that. He financed the
car through Kia Finance Corp. Wouldn'tthey have gotten some sort of notification.

(02:11:24):
Yes, not have well, holdon, I can't believe it. They
may have forced insurance on it.I'm sure they do. They know the
second that insurance drops. Guys,Now, listen, that fixed that forced
insurance. If he's paying for forcedinsurance, it's automatic. Usually he ought
to contact them, but why doesn't. No, No, No, that

(02:11:46):
fort that forced insurance is only goingto cover It's not going to cover liability.
It's only going to cover that car. Oh oh, wait a minute,
Wait a minute, hold on,that's what we're talking about, Mark
the Brian's son, Brian's son.No, he's only going to cover it
is collateral for the bank. It'snot gonna it's not gonna fix it for

(02:12:09):
him, but it will if itdiminishes the collateral for the lender, which
it just did. If I'm tellingyou, forced insurance is not going to
cover that vehicle as long as heowns it to be fixed. Oh okay,
I know what you're saying. Whatyou're saying is this. You're saying

(02:12:31):
all the bank cares about is beingpaid. That's all they care about it,
And that's that's all they care about, right, But they also care
about the collateral, the security, and I believe I believe that they could
well. Actually I don't know ifthey cover or force him to pay it.
But what I want to know isthis, how did he not have

(02:12:54):
collision coverage? Well, here's thefunny thing is he's a chechy guy.
He got his insurance online. Hewent online and he started clicking things and
he got to collision and it saiddo you want collision on this car?
And he clicked it and it jumpedit up like three times more, and
he goes, oh my gosh, that's crazy, I'm going to take that

(02:13:15):
off. So he went ahead andtook it off, not knowing that was
his coverage. And so his ignorancebasically stung him in the backhand. But
I go, but that should havealerted them that you don't have full coverage
on that car. And that's whereeven in his insurance agent says, yeah,
we don't communicate with Kia. Wedon't send him anything that you are

(02:13:37):
not covered on it. I go, that seems weird. Why is that?
Look, look, lender placed insuranceis going to benefit no one but
the lender. That's just the wayit is, right, Mark, that's
right, But I thought there wasa possibility. Listen carefully, if he
has a loan on a car andthe car is collateral, and the collateral
is now worth less, a lendermay want it fixed in the event they

(02:14:03):
ever have to repossess it. It'sstill benefiting the lender. Theoretically, that's
telling you they're not going to coverthis, and especially if he is paying
for it. So Brian, justlook into it. I know what Mark's
saying, because because forced insurance isfor the lender, that's all it's for.

(02:14:24):
But it generally pays the car paymentor pays it off. I have
never heard of forced insurance paying forrepairs. I mean, think of a
homeowner policy or a one that lapsed, and you have a mortgage company and
they put forced insurance on your house. I mean they're not going to pay
for your personal private stuff stolen outof it. Actually, I don't know

(02:14:46):
if they do. No, No, they're not not for your personal stuff.
But when it comes to collateral,I'm just thinking out loud, that's
all I'm doing. Let's call Compassif we if we can squeeze them in,
that's a good idea. Call himreal quick, Kelly. Let's let's
chest just for the hell of it. Because I'm not insisting they do.

(02:15:07):
I'm saying it almost sounds logical. If it diminished their collateral, they would
do it. I don't know ifthey would, but maybe they will.
Know. Here's the deal. We'llcall them okay and then uh and that'll
be it. But we got totake this break. I'm Tom Martino.

is normal for your age. Thatdoesn't mean it's good for you. It
means, you know, it's notoptimal. Well, it means you're not
