Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, Happy Tuesday, everybody, Q and A day. And
I guess yesterday was MLK Day, so a lot of
people maybe had off from work. So hopefully if you did,
you got some good family time or you got to
relax or maybe do some self care or something. I
have been in New York, so doing the show from
here right now, and I've got our engineer up here. Bill,

(00:22):
you would say, hey, hey there, tell tell everybody a
little bit about yourself. Oh well, i live in New
York on Long Island, and I'm married, have a six
and a half year old son and a seven year
old puggle. Nice. Well, we're gonna tackle a couple of
questions that I have from my listeners. They sendle Man
this the Q and A episode, and some of them

(00:42):
are beauty questions. So I may come to you for
your tips beauty. Sure you want to ask me? So
Bill just sitting here. He's making sure that I record
all this correctly since I'm in a different studio than usual,
and uh, but it's just me doing the questions today.
I'll read them and I'll also give the answer. I
don't have Chase with me or anything like that. So

(01:04):
first email is from Taylor. Oh, but I do know
what I want to say before I get into the questions,
and that is thank you all so much for listening
to last Thursday's episode with Mike Wilson. He was the
first thing. There was three other things in that episode,
but he was definitely the highlight and he's the founder
of My Life Speaks. And during the our chat he

(01:27):
presented a challenge. I was talking about how we have
the Love the Four Things Love pullovers and T shirt
to support My Life Speaks and the work that they're
doing in Haiti, working with special needs children that have
like a lot of times have been set to the side,
like are deemed not lovable because of because their special needs,

(01:48):
and there's you have to listen to the the podcast, you'll
understand why some people think that way in Haiti, and
uh it's just terribly sad. But they are working with them,
they are loving with them, loving them, giving them a home.
We're writing them with education and their families with support
too as well. If but if they're truly orphaned, then
they give them a family. So very amazing things and

(02:10):
they are so amazing at loving people. So we thought
it was appropriate for the love line leading up to
Valentine's Days to support them. And you know, towards the
end of our chat, he's like, you know what, I
gotta challenge to every anybody listening. What if you buy
the love Sure to pull Over not for yourself, but
you buy it for somebody else that needs to hear

(02:31):
that they are loved. Because sometimes someone in your life
may need to know that. And if you have someone
in your heart, whoever that person is, maybe you get
them that. But then also Mary and I know and
and obviously since it's supporting my life speaks yes we
would love If you could buy a pull over and
do that, then amazing do it. But if not, um,

(02:54):
doesn't mean you can't participate in the love challenge that
he threw out, because ultimately the is just to spread love.
So um, if you don't have it in the budget
to get something, then you write a card, send a text,
write a quick note to someone and let them know,
or call pick up the phone and make a phone
call and let someone know that they are loved. And yeah,

(03:17):
so words are free. So now I will officially get
into the questions, but I just wanted to thank you
all for listening to the episode. If you haven't go
back and listen to it of the last Thursday's episode,
and then you can go to four Things dot com
or Radio Amy dot com or shop u spot dot com.
There's all the different ways. We have all the ways

(03:38):
for you to find the love shirts, so we're not
lacking there, so you should be able to find them.
And I'm wearing a small That's a major question I
get all the time is what size my wearing? So
if it helps to have reference of size. And then
on Mary's on the shot Forwards Instagram, if you go
to her highlights page, she did a love sizing highlight,

(04:00):
so you could go click on that. Okay, now that
that housekeeping is out of the way, I'll officially get
to them the questions. This one's from Taylor. Hey me.
First off, I want to say I love your podcast,
to look forward to both of them weekly and love
how positive they can be. I heard you bring up
on your fifth thing, how coffee brings out the dark

(04:21):
purple under your eyes. I've noticed as I'm getting older,
thirty four, that I'm getting darker purple circles under my eyes.
Any advice on potential triggers and how to deal with
them holistically within Thanks so much so, Taylor. A long
long time ago, on the Bobby Bones Show, like I
don't know, two thousand nine or something, I did something

(04:42):
called the Girly Minute with Alexis Wolfer and she's she
was the founder and creator of a website called the
Beauty Bean, and it's no longer in operation, but she
had that website for years and I would have her
on and we would talk for about three minutes and
I would get all kinds of tips from her. And
when I read your question, I was like, oh, this
reminds me of you know, back when I used to

(05:02):
have Alexis on. So I went through some of my
old emails and pulled tips that she had shared with me.
And really, something that you need to think about is
are you hydrated, Because that's a simple way that you
know you're going to get darker circles, Like do you
need to drink more water? And it could be as
simple as like you just need to put more fluids

(05:23):
in your body and X. Too much fluid on the
flip side can maybe cause a little puffiness, But I
think once your body gets used to having all that water,
you'll start you won't be as puffy. But I just
have found when people start to add a ton of
water and they're not used to it, they're like, why
am I feeling puffy? But it's I think your body

(05:44):
getting used to that, and then you will start to
drink a lot of water and it can help get
rid of that. Um. Also, lack of sleep could be
a problem, um, caffeine like it is for me, alcohol, sugar, Like,
just take a look at that stuff. How much sleep
are you getting? Are you drinking too much coffee? Have
you had a lot of alcohol lately? Um? And then

(06:06):
there's hydrating foods in addition to water. It's not just
about you know, pounding water bottles. It could be the
food you're consuming and some mineral rich foods. And this
is a list I had from back in the day. Cucumber, watermelon, blueberries, tomatoes, celery,
beat root, gojiberries, be pollen and spier Lena Bill, do

(06:27):
you have a need to add to that? Yeah? Actually,
if you notice I have very thick bags under my eyes.
I hadn't really, but well that's good. Now that's a
good thing. Is you look see Okay? Yeah, I see?
Tell me more. Um, well, it's with me. It's more hereditary,
hereditary than anything else. My father has them, my mom
has them, and I have them, and I hate them,

(06:49):
and I actually went to go have surgery years ago
to get them removed. A lot of times it's what
you said, it's um, you know, from not getting enough sleep,
from not being hydrated enough. Mine in the hereditary way,
it's the capillaries inside your underneath the fatty layer that's
underneath your eye. They're weak and they let blood out

(07:12):
into the into the fatty areas. So what they do
when they do the surgery, they go from behind the
eye and they and they take the fat out so
that way, when the blood vessels aren't leaking into the fat,
the puffiness goes away and so does the redness. Unfortunately,
when I went in for the surgery, I started bleeding

(07:33):
and they couldn't stop it, so they aborted the whole thing,
and hence I still have the the puffiness. But I
actually tried a product a couple of years ago. My
wife bought it from me for um, I forget if
it was my birthday or Christmas is right around the
same time. And you put a little bit on under
each eye and it actually takes the puffiness and the

(07:53):
redness way. I wonder if there's caffeine in that, because ironically,
if you consume too much caffeine, it could give you
puffy your eyes or the dark circles too. But also
topical things that have caffeine minimize they bring it down.
So I don't know if that's in particular scale shale
or something that was in it. I don't remember the

(08:16):
interesting well, it really works. You put it on and
then about five ten minutes later, as it dried, it
would get rid of them, and I looked so much different.
Text your wife right now we might need to figure
out what that is. I'll have to find out you
find out. I'm going to do some natural remedies that
people might have, like in your house right now, as
a way to now if it is something hereditary and genetics.

(08:40):
Obviously dealing with a different thing, but sometimes you can
just have puffier, darker circles under your eyes depending on
your current environment. Um so applying a cold press a
cold compress really helps. And what Alexis from the beauty
being back in the day would tell me in the
girly minute is to keep spoons in your freezer and

(09:01):
then you can pull the spoons out whenever you need
them and press the spoons into your um the bags
under your eye, and that is like it kind of
just fits perfectly in there, so that you know, um
that I'm not that you know, but it just fits
perfectly in there, but you'll know when you need to
remove it. I wouldn't keep it on for too long.

(09:22):
I'm kind of press for a little bit and then
move it away, and then press for a little bit
and then move it away, because you don't want to
just keep something frozen all over your face. I have
an ice roller and I use that on my face
from time to time, but that's for all over my face,
but occasionally I'll just get it out and press it
under my eyes, um in the dark circle area. Try
to get extra sleep. Obviously that's hard to do, we're

(09:44):
all busy, but just try to make it a priority.
Alexis also told me, uh that I think I had
a photo shoot, and I remember talking to her like,
oh my my eyes, I just look so tired and
I have a photo shoot tomorrow, Like are there any
last minute tips and tricks? And she told me to
elevate my head while sleeping and that can help out.
I have no idea why, but you can just like

(10:06):
maybe put an extra pillow and wait, hold on here
she did type it out. It prevents fluid from pooling
under your eyes, which can make them look puffy and swollen.
So if you elevate yourself. You can also soak with
tea bags. So you can apply cold tea bags to
your eyes, like soak like a black tea or green
tea bags and hot water for five minutes, then let

(10:28):
them chill in the refrigerator for fifteen or twenty minutes,
and then once they're cool, put the tea bags close
to your eyes and keep those on for you know,
ten to twenty minutes, and then rents with cool water
and that might help. Um. Also, you could conceal with makeup.
I mean, it just says what it is. Sometimes you
gotta like throw on some good concealer and you'll be
good to go. I recently bought something called Tula, and

(10:52):
I had seen it on Instagram from tons of people,
and then that also makes me hesitant to purchase something.
But then I get been too, and I'm like, okay, yeah,
I definitely need to try this out. So I bought
it and it's in a pink tube and it's called
rose Glow Cooling and Brightening Eyebomb and it feels so good,
like I just put it on and it gives a

(11:13):
little glimmer and sheen and then also it's really cooling,
so I feel like it's working. And then you'll know.
I'm a big fan of eye patches. I try to
wear those every morning, um, as much as many mornings
as I can. I'm traveling right now, so I don't
have any travel ones with me, but that stuff is
all on my Amazon page, which you can get at
radio amy dot com. They'll take you to my favorite
things that way. I have them linked there under the beauty.

(11:35):
That way, they're easy to find to avoid. I know
some I get nervous sometimes when I'm buying stuff. Am
I buying the right thing? Am I buying the right thing?
So that's just the easy way for you all to know,
like you're legit buying what I use. And then Bill
just handed me what the product he was his wife
got him and it's called Plexiderm. That's the name of
the products. Okay, And right here it says influencers and

(11:59):
customers are loving plexiderm and you can check it out.
Looks like you could check it out like a hashtag
even on Instagram, and I bet you could see like
before and after. But I'm very weary of all those products.
And that's why even when she got it, I was like,
I just didn't put it on. It's not gonna do anything.
It Actually it actually worked. It actually really made my
my begs disappear. And the company's actually not far from

(12:21):
where I live there in Farmingdale on Long Island. Cool. Okay, See, Bill,
I knew you would have something to add. I didn't
think I would have anything to add and bring to this.
But there you go. There's my my two cents worth here.
You are just bringing it. I love it. You never know.
Next question is from Brook. Hey, Amy, I heard you
mentioned once that you had a fashion blaster. I was

(12:43):
wondering if you were still enjoying it or seeing any benefits. Bill.
Do you know what a fashion blaster is that I
can't help? Okay, So it's basically this tool that you
rub all over your body, but predominantly I guess your
legs or wherever you have celluli, and if you press
hard enough and massage like crazy even may end up
with bruising, Like that's how hard you're supposed to like

(13:04):
massage that it will break up the fascia and get
rid of cellulite. And the creator of it swears by it.
People swear by it, and so of course I bought it,
and I just don't have time, like you have to
fashion blast every day, and I don't know how many
minuture supposed to spend on your leg, but then my
arms would get tired, and I'm like, forget it. I'm

(13:25):
just gonna live with another thing that's hereditary. And you
just have to live with it. And it's fine, and
a lot of people have it. I would say more
people have it than don't. And stop comparing yourself to
anybody on line that has been airbrushed or use any
sort of photoshop or or by the way, a lot
of people might not just be busting out their pictures

(13:46):
of themselves with cellulite, because there it's not that they're
even photoshopping them. They're just like, Okay, I'm gonna probably
not post that picture, so you're just not seeing it.
So then it leads us to assume that nobody has it,
but but it's there, and if you want to give
the fashion Blaster a try, Um, I guess go for it,

(14:07):
but just I don't. I don't want you to waste
your money because I can't say for sure that it
will work. But the reviews like people that are passionate
about it are passionate about it, and I feel like,
just like anything, if you commit to it, it might
really work. But for me, I just didn't have the
time to fashion Blast. Okay, Okay, I hope that helps Brooke.
So next question is from Tricia. I always love the

(14:28):
lipstick colors you wear. Will you share your brands and
the colors? Um? Yes, my I do two colors. My
base color. The one on the bottom Isnars and in
a R S and it's called Cruising, and then on
top of that, I put Lipstick Queen Ice Queen on top.

(14:49):
So hopefully that helps. I don't think I have those
linked on Amazon because I don't know if they sell
them there, and if they do, like I don't know
if it's that they're more expensive, like you probably find
them Cosmetic Market or any department store that has those brands. Um,
I think Lipstick Queen I did end up having to
find on Amazon and I heard it was going out

(15:10):
of stock the last time I ordered it, but I
don't know for sure. Alta had it, and then I
think Alta is the one that told me. Either they
stopped carrying it, or maybe there's the people aren't making
it anymore, whatever the case, last time I ordered it,
I ordered like five because I did not want to
run out, and now I feel like maybe I should
order more because I just told you all about it. Um.

(15:41):
Next question is from Stacy. Is there any update on
what you're doing with Lisa from the Well Necessities on
Instagram on a disordered eating series? And yes, Stacy, I
put this question in here specifically because it's one of
the reasons why I came to New York. I'm here
hosting a Dustin Lynch album release party, also recording a

(16:02):
podcast that's going to be going up this Thursday with
an amazing woman that works with orphanages in India, and
she literally has been working with orphans and orphanages for
a lot of her adult life and she's very wise.
She's originally from Austin, great person recently moved to New

(16:24):
York to champion uh like shutting down orphanages around the world.
Which I know sounds crazy, you know, and not in
such an abrupt way. It doesn't mean like just shutting
them down and people have nowhere to go. Would be
actually with a plan and really thought out and there's
very smart people working on this, and it's really about

(16:46):
keeping families together at the end of the day. I
put up a post about this on Instagram a couple
of weeks ago, and it's something that I feel like
it is super important, but I'm still learning a lot about.
And obviously my children were raised in an orphanage, my
son his whole life, my daughter half half of her life.

(17:06):
So you know, orphanages are important because they give kids
a place to go. But then also if we look
at where our money is going, like what if we
put that money towards family care instead of an institutionalized setting, um,
because that in itself isn't is no way for somebody

(17:28):
to grow up. UM. So Thursday, Caroline Bordeaux will be
on and we will be covering all four things. I'm
in New York also meeting with her about that. And
then also you know what what my role is in
this this new this vision and the plan and this
is a global thing and She's like, it's crazy because

(17:49):
I I have orphanages and I work in this business,
and it's kind of bizarre because I've never I'm kind
of in the business right now, putting myself out of business.
But it's for or it's it's the better thing for
the kids. And it's also giving us an opportunity to
ask kids, what where would you want to live where?

(18:10):
Like what if the kids had a voice, Like if
you could stay in your home country with a family member,
could we make that happen? How can we help make
that happen? Um, So obviously I'm giving you like a
small piece and it's so much bigger than this. So
I hope you'll listen on Thursday. But another reason I'm
in New York too is I met with Lisa in person,

(18:33):
which I've only known her from Instagram and her coming
on my podcasts like not even a year, but we
are friends online and we finally met face to face,
which is always super fun. Which fun fact, if you
don't know Mary and I who comes on the podcast
a lot and runs the shop for it in my
business partner shop is squa and aunt to my kids.

(18:53):
And you know, like it's crazy, how close we are,
and we met on Twitter. Have you met anybody online? Bill?
Like my wife? Actually? Really see. I knew you would
have things to contribute. So y'all met out? How many
years ago? We're gonna be uh, this will be the
tenth year. Actually we met on Memorial Day of Okay, cool, well,

(19:18):
congratulations seems to have worked out so far. Yeah. So see,
people can meet online and it's great. And I was
so against it before I did it, and someone who
I used to work with, Um, she was constantly trying
to get me to go on, whether it was match
or or you know, any of those. And I finally
because I didn't have a lot of time. I was
working a lot. I uh, you know, a DJ parties

(19:41):
on the side, and I'm always I'm always working and
I'm never you know, going out to meet anybody. So
without letting her know, I tried it and I went
on and um, sure enough, my co worker we're out
one night having dinner after workout at the gym and
she says, I'm so proud of you, Bill. I'm like why,
She's like, because I saw your You're a match. Now

(20:04):
it's like to get on the download. Yeah, but actually
a friend of mine told me a pof is where
I met my wife. A friend of mine told me
about that, and uh, it was it was interesting experience.
Where is pof plenty of fish? Okay, yes, it's one
of those I didn't know. I know plenty of fish,
but I just didn't know the acronym. That's where I

(20:26):
didn't know any of this stuff before I did it.
And I'll tell you you meet a lot. I did
eat harmony way back in the day, and I went
on a day with the guy and funny, I try.
I was going to try it, but there was too
many questions to answer. There was a lot. Yeah, there's
a lot um so yeah, and then do you watch
you on Netflix? No? Have you heard of it? Okay,

(20:48):
well it's yeah, it's kind of I don't even know. Honestly,
I've only watched a little bit of it, did he
Maybe you didn't even meet her online, so maybe it's
not that scary. But it's just crazy through technology, how
much she was able to learn about somebody and then
manipulate them because of everything that's out there about people.

(21:08):
It's funny because my wife check me out before obviously
meeting me, because she was on sheet, It's a whole
another podcast. She's got tons of stories to tell you
about these weirdos that she went out with. But because
I was a DJ in New York, you know, it's easy.
You just have to google my name and you would
have found me online and she was able to check
me out and see where I worked, and see who

(21:29):
I was, and check out all the pictures of me,
and she saw that I was mostly normal. Yeah, okay, good. Yes,
blind dates are just not can't even really happen anymore.
I don't think you can go into a date without knowing,
and then if you try to truly, maybe you try
to truly do a blind date. I mean, could you
resist googling someone to try to find that way to

(21:51):
make it more organic and see what it's really like.
I still google my wife just to figure stuff. Um, okay,
So Lisa, you know, you never know what it's gonna
be like when you finally meet that person face to face,
and you're gonna be like, well, do we really have
a connection or not? And she's just as wonderful in
person as she has been on Instagram and on the podcast,

(22:15):
and so yes, we took down some rough notes last
night I mean, I was sketching all over this pad,
and when she saw the way I was taking notes,
which is comical and stresses a lot of people out
gives them anxiety, she was like, could you type that
up for me? And I'm like, yeah, okay, I'll type
it up. But then that gives me anxiety, like I
like my scribbling notepad. But we I think we have

(22:38):
a plan and it's going to be a four episode
little series. I have a meeting tomorrow about how we're
gonna do it within the podcast, so I'll update y'all
on that. But it will cover disordered eating and eating disorders.
But I want to give a disclaimer that it's we
almost are coming at it from with lots of stories

(23:00):
from normal, everyday people that are on the other side.
So they and I think an approach we kind of
want to take two is like if you could write
a letter to yourself back then when you were struggling
through it, what would that letter? What would you tell yourself?
And we have a list of girls we're gonna reach
out to, just friends. She has some clients because she's

(23:23):
a dietitian. Um, we're going to share some of our stories.
We're gonna bring on some experts, a therapist. Um, I'm
trying to get the author of a book that I
really enjoyed on. But so we're still in the beginning stages.
But I think it's going to be awesome. And what
I want from it is for people that aren't on
the other side yet, that don't have the freedom to

(23:46):
have this as a tool towards freedom. Like I'm I
don't think you're gonna listen to this and be like, Okay,
now my life, Now I've got it together. My life
has changed us into a four episode podcast with Amy
and Lisa, Like, I do not think that is the case,
but Lisa and I do feel like we want others

(24:09):
to experience what we have. And the disclaimer is that
if you are like clinically diagnosed with like extreme eating disorder,
this is not for you. Um, it's just not We're
not equipped for that. Uh. We're kind of in that
gray area of like where you maybe you feel like

(24:29):
you have an issue with food. Food is an issue
in some way, shape or form um you you're obsessed
by it. It can rule your day, it can ruin
your day, it doesn't you don't enjoy vacation your family
time is affected by it and you don't know why,
and you're like, why is this happening? But you still

(24:51):
you know, life as usual. But I mean there's things
on the extreme where there are girls out there sadly
that are seventy pounds and you know, not eating at all,
Like that's that's not who this series is going to
be for. There's girls that are throwing up fifty times
a day that is not to this series is for.

(25:12):
To those girls, I would say, please get professional help,
seek help, I mean hospital type help, like you, you
are loved, you need help, And my heart hurts for
girls that are in that space. Um. So, Lisa and
I know that this is a sensitive topic and we

(25:32):
want to approach it carefully and thoughtfully, and so that
is what we are working on at the moment, is
to just create a space where we'll share our story
and what it what happened to us, and then how
we're on the other side, and hopefully we'll stay there.
But it's kind of like something that always lingers there

(25:53):
and you have to be in control of it. And
that's why Lisa has her whole program called Fork the Noise,
because she just has to basically tell her brain to
shut up for the noise, like stick a fork in it.
Then we're not talking about this anymore, like to yourself.
So I am very excited about it. So Stacy, thank
you for asking. I feel like others of you are asking,

(26:13):
so that that helps me know that y'all are excited
to Um. But even if there's just one person that listens,
and that one person takes a step in the right
direction after listening again, it's not going to be something
that cures anything by any means, but takes that right
step forward, UM, then that makes it worth it. It

(26:35):
makes it. And I got to meet Lisa in the
process because this got us to meet face to face
because we knew this was something important that we wanted
to do when we're taking seriously. So yeah, okay, well,
last I'll just do one quick quick question from Savannah. Hey, Amy,
I was wondering if you have any quick, healthy breakfast
options for kids to eat before school? Um, what are
your kids eat on school days? Busy days? Uh? I'm

(26:59):
a big and of protein pancakes. Stevenson shared a recipe
on the very first episode of this podcast over a
year ago, and it is so easy it's eggs, protein
powder baking powder. Um, is that it? I'm trying to
think eggs protein powder baking powder. Yeah, And sometimes I

(27:22):
add a little bit of water to stretch it out
because it makes more. But I mean, you can google
any protein pancake recipe. I just like those because I
always have those ingredients in the pantry. They're simple, easy.
He likes to put peanut butter on top with a
little bit of maple syrup, and that you can make
like a big batch and keep them in the fridge.

(27:43):
Stuff here on my daughter, she's not a fan of
the pancakes, so um, she likes Nature's Path gluten gluten
free waffles, the mixed berry flavor, she loves those, and
so I mean on quick mornings, we toss those in.
She'll put peanut butter on top, so it helps keep
her full little bit longer. Um, My kids love eggs.
Stashira loves eggs and black beans and avocado. So some mornings,

(28:07):
I mean, and that stuff even you can whip up
scrambled eggs and have it in the fridge and then
bust it out in the morning and reheat it. So
that stuff, you could make a big batch of and
in the morning feed them apple with peanut butter. My
kids are big on that. Um. Overnight oats are easy,
and then smoothies because all that's all. This stuff can
just be in the fridge or the freezer and then
you just reheat and go. It's not something that's too crazy.

(28:32):
And then of course on the super super busy days,
which I never thought it would be cereal mom and
I love cereal days. It's like so easy, like soweat.
But I mean we don't have you know, but no
judgment if you do have the sugary stuff. We just don't.
Like my kids, I think they had frosted Flags at
somebody else's house the other day and they were like,
this is the amazing cereal I've ever had in my life.

(28:52):
I'm like, we'll eat it now because we're not having
frosted Flags at home. UM. So I do try to
pick cereals at least that are like quality ingredients, low
and sugar um stuff like that. And then I never
thought my kids would drink cow's milk. I drink almond milk,
but I know sometimes time I do that. I've got

(29:13):
my dairy farmer listeners and my agg people that listen,
and they don't want me to like poo poo the
cow dairy agg industry. So I'm gonna try. I'm being
thoughtful about that. I personally don't do well on dairy um,
but my kids do, and I, yeah, I just try
to buy them high quality, but their eat like a

(29:36):
like a grassed organic whole milk, all the fat. But
I get not everybody can do that as well. That's
not lost on me. So you just you gotta do
what you gotta do to get food in the bellies.
And I get that. So I'm just sharing with you
what goes on at our house. So there you go.
Thank you Savannah for that question, and thank you everybody

(29:57):
for listening. Thank you Bill for chiming in well, thank
you for having a lot of fun. Do you have
any breakfast tips for the kids? I need tips because
I can't get my six and a half year alter
eat anything other than than frozen waffles for breakfast, and
mac and cheese, pizza and um pizza bagels for for
any other meal. Yeah. It's hard, it really is. It's

(30:18):
a struggle because you know you, I always thought I
was good, it was just gonna be easy, and I
was like this how it's gonna be, and then you
know they get here, and then you get busy and
you're just like, okay, fine, forget it whatever, just eat whatever.
I just need you to eat. But um, kids dot
eat dot in dot color. It's an Instagram account. So

(30:39):
her name is Jennifer Anderson and it's kids eat in
color but put a dot after each thing. And she's
got great tips for parents on how we should talk
to our kids about food. Um, to make it so
that they still have a healthy relationship and there's no
food shaming. But like, hey, how about we, you know,

(31:02):
try to eat this and then a way to explain
it instead of being like you need to eat this
for you, this is healthy like the other ways, like
if you eat this, it's going to be it'll help
you see in the darker, it'll help you X, Y
and Z. Like so because you try to help them,
we try to say, oh, you can grow up big
and strong and you'll you know, she gives more. She
goes like deeper to where I'm like, okay, yeah, Sometimes

(31:25):
I go to her page and like, oh, okay, I'm
gonna say it like that. I need to say it
like that to myself too, so okay, um, well, thank
you guys for listening. Don't forget the Love Challenge, uh
you know, radio amy dot com for anything that you
think you might need if you're wondering where it is,
you can maybe find it there. Okay, right,
