At the end of Volunteers Week Home Start Butser Chair Linda Bazant (who is a barrister) thanked their 81 volunteers for all they have done in the last record breaking year.
They helped 263 families and 371 children.
On Thursday 5 June they had a lively drinks reception, a meal, and goodie bags as a token of thanks.

Debbie, the owner of Hairdressing for Men on Chapel Street, has worked in the shop for 26 years and took over the lease 20 years ago this month and hopes her daughter, who also works in the shop, will take over when she retires after more than 40 years in the business.
