A member of the Dementia Choir did a tandem parachute jump at the beginning of May and raised £1500 for Dementia Friendly Petersfield.

Audrey Morton says the money will go to their activities like the Dementia Choir and their Walking Football tournament on 27 June.

Their next Tea Dance is at Churcher's College on 31 May.

On Saturday 30 May people are invited to the Merritts Meadow Nature Day, from 10:30am, at the top of North Road (near The Barn).

It’s about celebrating biodiversity on the one acre community owned site.

Coffee and Cake for Age Concern Petersfield on 20 May was a big success.

The generous support of the Clavio Lounge for this simple idea was effective and appreciated , says Age Concern manager  Sheridan Rocher, who tells Mike Waddington about it.

Sheridan also promotes Age Concern Petersfield's IT courses - they offer six sessions with any device for £8 a session with patient and knowledgeable IT Coaches.

Four cyclists from Petersfield’s Twin Town Warendorf in Germany were formally welcomed to the town by the Mayor, Cllr Chris Paige on Tuesday 19 May.

They cycled 70 to 90 kilometres a day to get here.
