Speaker 5 (01:38):
Am six for It is the.

Speaker 4 (01:42):
Conway Show, Ding dong with you? All right, We've got
a lot.

Speaker 5 (01:47):
To get to. We still have. We talked to Charles Pain.
That was cool.

Speaker 4 (01:52):
Dean Sharp is going to be coming on with us
at six twenty. But here is something that's going to
happen tonight between six and six oh five. If you
live in Los Angeles, it'll happen tonight between six and
six oh five. If you live in let's see where
the other Riverside is also involved here. If you live
in Riverside, it's going to be a little later in Riverside.

(02:15):
Let me get the exact time here riverside is going
to be six oh five. But for most people live
in Los Angeles at six o'clock, almost exactly at six o'clock,
you're going to see. Yeah, Thursday November fourteen, six pm,
for five minutes, the International Space Station will be flying

(02:37):
over LA and it's gonna be visible with the naked eye.
Now here's what makes this unusual. We have a full,
huge moon tonight. If you're going east and you're on
the two ten, maybe you're on the ten ninety one.
What do the freeways go east west? I don't know
the ninety, the ninety ninety one. Sixty Oh yeah, okay,

(03:01):
all right, I'll give you sixty right, yeah.

Speaker 5 (03:02):
Thing.

Speaker 4 (03:03):
But if you're if you're looking at the moon right now,
it's huge. I can see it right outside the window
here in our Burbank studios.

Speaker 5 (03:09):
It's huge.

Speaker 4 (03:11):
You have an opportunity tonight to see the space station
from six from six pm to six oh five, the
International Space Station will be flying over directly over Los Angeles.

Speaker 5 (03:22):
Now here's the rub.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
You have about a four and a half five percent
shot of being between the Moon and this or the
Earth and the Moon and watching the space station cross
between the Earth and the Moon. That's incredible. That rarely,
rarely happens. I can't remember it ever happening, but it

(03:46):
is going to be happening tonight to night. So that's
a that's a really cool deal, you know. I mean
to be able to see the International Space Station with
the naked eye and have a five percent shot, a
five percent shot of watching the space station cross between

(04:08):
us and the Moon. And so that's a big deal.
That's a huge deal here in Los Angeles. And it
reminds me of this song, that great song from Hard
Third by Christopher Cross.

Speaker 5 (04:21):
Oh yeah, you might.

Speaker 4 (04:23):
Be able to see the space station tonight between the
Moon and well LA City. And I don't know if
a lot of people know this, but that song was
written on an airplane. He was flying from LA to
New York and they got to New York, got to
JFK and JFK was fogged in where they had to

(04:45):
literally fly around for an hour and just circle the
airport before they could land. And he wrote that song
while he was circling the airport. When you get caught
between the moon and New York City, isn't that crazy?
When you get caught between the moon and New York's
that's a great song. But anyway, tonight, between six o'clock,
so you have less than an hour between six o'clock

(05:06):
and six oh five, with the naked eye, you can
see the International Space Station very easily. And unless you're
you got some eye problems, which if you do, shattle back.
But if you have a decent eyesight, you can see
the International Space Station at six o'clock with the naked eye,
and you have a five percent shot of it crossing

(05:28):
between us and the Moon. That is a once in
a lifetime deal. So I call your kids, you know,
if they're into that kind of stuff.

Speaker 5 (05:37):
I am.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
My sister's not into it every time I talk about
space click, but I know a lot of people are
into it all right. The gondola going from I think
they're going to run it from Union Station all the
way up to Dodger Stadium. It would be a terrific advantage,
another way to get in and out of Dodger Stadium
without getting caught in traffic. Let's find out the late is.

Speaker 6 (06:00):
Still more public hearings to be held on the gondola.
The State Parks Commission still need to approve it, as
does the City of Los Angeles. But the more it
comes closer to reality, the more opponents seem determined to
stop it.

Speaker 4 (06:12):
No, opponents, they got to stop opponents, Please stop this,
you know, the opponents. There's five people that oppose all
this stuff, and then we all suffer. Like there was
supposed to be a light rail in the San Fernando Valley,
the Orange Line was supposed to be a light rail,
and because these stupid homeowners blocked it, now we have
a busway through the valley where we got to. You know,

(06:33):
we're just it's nineteen six sixties in the valley. The
five homeowners that stop all this stuff. We've got to
be louder voices. We've got to be louder than they
are because they're loud, and we've got.

Speaker 5 (06:46):
To be louder than they are. And get this gondola
up and Runnnie.

Speaker 6 (06:49):
This cafe on Olvera Street has been run by the
Flores family for eight decades. But Edward Flores pears a
dodger Stateum gondola would do irreparable harm.

Speaker 5 (06:57):
No, no, no, it would help.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
It will bring a lot of peer pe Bololvera Street,
a lot of people to Union Station. You're thinking the
exact opposite.

Speaker 6 (07:04):
His restaurant, among the small businesses next to Union Station
where the gardola would begin its overhead journey.

Speaker 4 (07:10):
Okay, look, it's going to start right near your restaurant
and probably be.

Speaker 7 (07:14):
A lesson a hundred feet away from my business.

Speaker 5 (07:17):
Why is that not great?

Speaker 4 (07:20):
The gondola station where people get on and off, will
be one hundred feet away from his business. Ten twenty
thirty thousand people every single Dodger game within are being
delivered to one hundred feet of his business.

Speaker 7 (07:34):
Strong with this guy, and probably be a lesson a
hundred feet away from my business.

Speaker 8 (07:38):
That's right.

Speaker 7 (07:38):
So not only will they impact in my traffic, the
construction itself has been deemed that it may even cause
damage to some of the historic structures here on Olvera Street.

Speaker 6 (07:47):
The proposed gondola would include three stations, three towers, and
a junction. It's supporter say it would provide zero mission,
environmentally friendly transportation, and reduce traffic in and around Dodger Stadium.

Speaker 5 (07:58):
Gay Union All correct. By the way.

Speaker 6 (08:00):
Gay Unit of the Chinese American Museum believes the gondola
will help revitalize Chinatown, still recovering from the effects of
the pandemic.

Speaker 9 (08:06):
I think that it would bring in the foot traffic,
the family right, the consumers right that will go to
the Chinatown businesses.

Speaker 6 (08:20):
The Gondola's backers say their own polling shows more than
seventy percent of La County residents support the Gondola.

Speaker 4 (08:25):
Okay, supported, five people hated. Guess who's going to get
their way unless we're louder than they are those five people.

Speaker 6 (08:33):
But Flores believes it's the opposite in Chinatown.

Speaker 7 (08:36):
And only serves one purposes, serve the Dodgers and then
their group there we're dealing with billionaires that have a
lot of influence.

Speaker 9 (08:45):
We really support the Gondola.

Speaker 5 (08:50):
Being a vehicle, very smart woman.

Speaker 9 (08:52):
Here to help the three five Chinatown.

Speaker 4 (08:55):
By the way, you know, I've read stories for the
last ten years of the restaurants on Alvara Street and
shops on a Aera Street going out of business or
losing their lease because the the you know, the rent
was jacked up and there's there's not that many people
down there anymore. There's a homeless issue around there anymore.
You're bringing twenty thousand people for eighty one games, eighty

(09:16):
one nights of the year, at least I have to
make the playoffs. You know, it could be another ten
to fifteen nights, and you're bringing them right into your
business area, your opportunity zone.

Speaker 5 (09:27):
Why would you not want this? What's going on?

Speaker 6 (09:30):
Supporters say to Guanolat trips could carry up to ten
thousand Dodger fans per game.

Speaker 5 (09:35):
That's right.

Speaker 6 (09:36):
Opponents say that would just create more traffic.

Speaker 5 (09:38):
It's not. It's going to create it's gonna have less traffic.
It's gonna have a positive impact.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
Man.

Speaker 4 (09:43):
I am so tired of living in the valley and
having five homeowners dictate what we all do. That's the
reason why the valley is so screwed up, because there's
four homeowners that hate the freeways being expanded, or the
busway or the light rail. There's like five guys in
the valley who are, you know, old and loud, and
we all suffer.

Speaker 5 (10:02):
And I think I heard what you were playing there.

Speaker 10 (10:05):
The one guy who's against it says it's like it's
like rich guy, you know, rich guy stuff. And I'm like,
I don't know how this benefits a rich guy. I guess,
I mean, I guess it might.

Speaker 5 (10:15):
I don't think it does.

Speaker 4 (10:16):
I mean they lose money on part on the parking lot, right,
No one's gonna pay for parking. And yeah, even Jamien McCourt,
the guy who owns the parking lot you sed own
the Dodgers.

Speaker 10 (10:25):
Yeah, he's supporting the gondola. Yeah, he's supporting it. This
seems like it's foregone at this point.

Speaker 5 (10:30):
I hope so.

Speaker 4 (10:31):
But you know what, Krocher, I've been living in the
valley for long enough to know that five homeowners screw
it up.

Speaker 5 (10:37):
They always do it. They always do it.

Speaker 4 (10:38):
They're loud, they're very influential, and they show up at
all these meetings, yes, and we don't, and they get
their way the vote minority. That's right, That's exactly right.
So we got to be louder than they are, louder
than they are, and I think we will be. I
think we will be all right when.

Speaker 5 (10:53):
We come back.

Speaker 4 (10:54):
We have that carjacking suspect, the latest on him. You
saw the video of him attacking only women. By the way,
this coward only attacking women. Will tell you if they
found him, where they found him, what's going on with
this guy, and what the latest is. Then how people
who now live in that area can rest easy at
least this idiot is not going to be attacking them.

(11:15):
We'll come back and talk about that carjacking suspect when
we come back.

Into tim Conway Junior on demand from KFI AM six
forty KFI.

Speaker 5 (14:27):
AM six forty. It's Convoy Show.

Speaker 4 (14:30):
And we'll get to this carjacking suspect of the second.
But first, the International Space Station is right now over
New Zealand.

Speaker 5 (14:37):
It's just coming up on New Zealand.

Speaker 4 (14:40):
It's between New Zealand and austral it's actually it's west
of Australia and west of.

Speaker 5 (14:46):
New Zealand right now.

Speaker 4 (14:48):
And its next pass over the United States is going
to be over Los Angeles, and we have a full moon,
so it's gonna make it much easier to see the
space station. So at six o'clock. From six o'clock to
so five is when you're going to see it over
Los Angeles, and it might it might be between you
and the moon if you're in the right area.

Speaker 5 (15:09):
It's like waiting for Santa.

Speaker 4 (15:11):
That's right, early Santa. And this is a this is
an unusual pass over Los Angeles because of the full moon.
And it's at forty one degrees, so that you know,
the the higher the degree that you know, the easier
it is to see and the more time it stays
in your view. So it's at forty one degrees and

(15:33):
you're gonna you're gonna if you look west southwest, So
wherever you're standing, look west southwest, and that's where you're
going to see it. Come out of west southwest, you're
going to see the International Space Station, which is over
New Zealand. Right now we have a full moon and
it might pass between you and the moon. How great
is that, once in a lifetime opportunity for one of

(15:55):
the biggest moons we've had, and it's coming right over
our city, right over Los Angeles. Now to check out
the International Space Station. Uh, first of all, the timing
has got to be right, and we know it's from
six o'clock to six oh five tonight, that's the witching hour.
It's visible in the maximum time period the space station

(16:18):
is visible before crossing back below the horizon. So it's
six o'clock to six so five, so about six oh
two and a half between six h two and six
oh three, it will be the maximum height and it's
measured in degrees. It'll be at forty one degrees, which
is rare. It's usually eleven, twelve, seventeen, twenty. Maybe this
is forty one degrees. This is this is huge. So

(16:42):
it appears in the location in the sky where the
station will be visible first, and the value is it's like, well,
the maximum height is and again they did this calculation.

Speaker 5 (16:53):
I can't figure this.

Speaker 4 (16:54):
Out, but it looks like the International Space Station flying
right now at seventeen thousand, give you the exact speed here,
seventeen thousand and eighty seven miles an hour, seventeen thousand,
eighty seven miles an hour, and it's going to be
right over Los Angeles between six and six oh five,
So you have another thirty five minutes thirty five minutes

(17:15):
until it's overhead, and then you're getting and again it
might if you're in Riverside, you have a better shot,
maybe sam Berndino, of it, of the space station going
between you and the moon.

Speaker 5 (17:28):
That is wild.

Speaker 4 (17:30):
So get outside, you know, go home, whatever you're doing.
But if you're driving, don't look for it, you know,
concentrate on driving. But if you're going west right now,
you can see how beautiful and big this moon is.

Speaker 5 (17:42):
This is spectacular.

Speaker 4 (17:44):
And now the space station, just by coincidence, happens to
be flying right over Los Angeles tonight. And it's great
because two hours before sunrise and two hours after sunset
is when you can see the space station the best,
because the sun is still glaring off of it.

Speaker 5 (18:00):
You'll be able to see with the naked eye.

Speaker 4 (18:02):
Belly and I will be on the fifth floor balcony
for our six to six fifteen segment will be on
the cell phone looking for the space station and we
might see it.

Speaker 5 (18:10):
I bet we do.

Speaker 4 (18:11):
You gotta look west southwest soever you're standing west and
then southwest, so divide that in half. You know, south
and west. Divide that in half and look straight that
that direction. Most people have a sense of direction. Some
people don't.

Speaker 5 (18:26):
I get that. I get that.

Speaker 4 (18:27):
Some people, uh, you know, they're yucherd when it comes
to direction. I have family members who have no sense
of direction whatsoever.

Speaker 5 (18:35):
None.

We're gonna get to this violent, violent man who's been
terrorizing some of LA's neighborhoods. But please don't let this
opportunity pass you by. We're twenty five minutes for the
International Space Station flying over in perfect time. You want
to see it two hours before the sun rises or

(22:08):
two hours after the sun sets, that's the witching hour.
It's gonna be flying over Los Angeles. It's gonna be
coming out of the southwest, the west southwest, and it'll
be leaving north northeast towards Nevada, and it's gonna be
coming right over it. Right now, it's over Auckland, New Zealand.
They can't see it because it's daylight in Auckland, New Zealand.

(22:32):
It's going seventeen thousand, one hundred and twenty one miles
an hour.

Speaker 5 (22:38):
That's pretty quick.

Speaker 4 (22:39):
And at six o'clock tonight, you're gonna see it for
five minutes, which is a very long period of time.
One of the longest I've seen it five minutes six
six o'clock to six oh five tonight, full moon, and
it might cross between you and the moon. So if
you have a high definition camera, don't do with your
cell phone. You know, taking a picture of move with

(23:00):
his cell phone is stupid. It never comes out. It's
a white blob. We're not there yet with technology, so
you're not going to capture it on video, but you're
gonna capture it, and you're gonna see what the naked eye.
We're gonna be on the roof of the building at
six o'clock. Belly and I will be reporting live between
six and six fifteen tonight, very exciting a field trip tonight,

(23:21):
and you're gonna see this International Space Station very clearly
with the naked eye from six o'clock to six oh five,
and again it's right over Auckland, almost directly over Auckland,
New Zealand, right now in the two In the next
thirty seconds, it will be exactly over Auckland, and then
it'll it'll cruise north and it'll come over California and

(23:47):
Los Angeles at six o'clock. It's gonna pass fairly close
also to Hawaii. I think. Okay, now it's gonna be
considerably it's gonna be west of Hawaii by maybe a
thousand miles or so, but you'll be able to see
it when it comes to California. It's going to cross
right over San Jose. That's where it's going to be.
But for you to see it, you have to look

(24:07):
south southwest and then north northeast and watch it come
over southern California, Orange County, Ventura. You'll be able to
see it almost anywhere you live in California tonight, almost anywhere.
You'll be able to see it all the way to Sandy,
from San Diego, all the way probably to Oregon, you know,
cause it's fast and it's high, and this is going

(24:29):
to be quite a night because it's perfect timing. Again,
less than two hours after the sunset over California with
a full moon. Let's go to the moon desk and
Sharon Bellio is at our brand new moon desk. Sharon,
what do you see?

Speaker 15 (24:42):
Well, tim we're looking at the supermoon. This is going
to be the fourth and final supermoon of twenty twenty four,
and it will be one hundred percent illuminated on Friday
around one twenty eight pm. Now, the supermoon is also
known as the beaver moon, and that is because this
time of year beaver's like to hunt. They typically like
to hunker down and build their dams, you know, right

(25:03):
before winter, makes sense, right, sure, So the Superman occurs
when the full moon is closest to its orbit to
the to its orbit to Earth, so it appears thirty
percent brighter and fourteen percent bigger, especially when we have
clear skies and cool temperatures, which is exactly what we're
going to have.

Speaker 5 (25:23):
Back to you, Tim, Thank you very much, Yes, the one.

Speaker 4 (25:27):
You know, some of the things, some of the instruments
that have survived here are the moon desk and we
always check in with it. And of course Sharon Bellio
knows more about the moon than anybody on the show.
All Right, we're going to get to that, but right now,
let's talk about this violent guy off the streets here
in Los Angeles who can breathe easier. Another you know,

(25:48):
crazy is going to be locked up or at least
in a hospital.

Speaker 16 (25:53):
Well man suspected of three attempted carjackings just hours apart,
has been arrested. Investigators say a.

Speaker 5 (25:59):
Nurse bellio, beellio, I'm playing audio.

Speaker 16 (26:04):
Investigators say a nurse.

Speaker 5 (26:05):
Out, Oh.

Speaker 8 (26:09):
Well, you can see that.

Speaker 16 (26:10):
A nurse at Los Angeles General Medical Center recognized Maurice.

Speaker 4 (26:13):
Latour And this is the reason this guy is currently
locked up because people recognized him. This video went out,
We talked about it. It was on all the TV
stations two, four, five, seven, nine, eleven, they all ran it.
And this very smart nurse dropped the dime on this guy.
When he came in for help, cop showed up and

(26:35):
arrested him. This is a very violent guy who attacked
three different women in Los Angeles and called police.

Speaker 16 (26:41):
He is accused of trying to carjack three women at
two gas stations in Lincoln Heights and a parking lot
in Boyle Heights. The lad LAPD put out an alert
to find Latour after Saturday's attacks, and they did.

Speaker 4 (26:53):
And again, a nurse who was honored toes recognized this
guy from TV. And now he'll be off the streets
and one less guy to terrorize you and your kids.
You and your kids. This guy was trying to carjack
three different women. And this coward only went after women
and two women with kids, and so he's going to

(27:17):
be off the streets. Yeah, he'll be cool at his
heels doing some speed wrapping with some detectives tonight. So
he knew the rules, he knew the boundaries. Mahallow, All right,
we are five nineteen minutes away, nineteen minutes away, yes,
nineteen minutes away from the big sighting of the International

(27:39):
Space Station live over California. You'll be able to see
it almost anywhere you are in California. It'll be coming
out of the southwest leaving out of the northeast. If
you live in San Jose, if you're living you know,
listening up I don't know on iHeartMedia, and you live
up in that area up in San Jose, this Bay

(28:00):
Station will cross one hundred percent over your head Fresno
San Jose area, one hundred percent straight up, and that
will be great. It's gonna go right between San Jose
and Fresno. I'm going to try and give you the
exact point of where it's going to cross here. It'll

(28:21):
be forty miles south of San Jose, so that's almost
directly above San Jose. And the city that it'll be
right above is Santa Cruz. If you're in Salina's Santa Cruz,
it'll be right over your head, directly over your head.
Merced as well, if you live any any of those cities,
it'll be directly over your head.

Speaker 5 (28:41):
So we're gonna look.

Speaker 4 (28:41):
From this to the south, southwest and h and then
it'll leave north northeast. And this is an incredible night
and this may never happen again. Where we have everything
lined up, the timing, the height, the the almost one
hundred percent of California as as a matter of fact,
one of people live in California can see this tonight.

Speaker 5 (29:03):
I did just see that. There was a report that
said the clouds are starting to roll.

Speaker 4 (29:06):
In Oh no, no where Burbank.

Speaker 10 (29:10):
I didn't get specifics, but no, damn it, no, no, no.

Speaker 5 (29:18):
No, no, no, we got all right. We're we're good.
I just looked outside. We're good. We're cool. But get
away from the clouds.

Speaker 4 (29:26):
If you if you're up in in uh Man, if
you're in Palmdale or Lancaster, get that chair out, get
yourself a jacket, a little chili up there right now,
and get yourself outside and take a look at this
space station flying over.

Speaker 5 (29:40):
This is going to be like when Heraldo Rivera opened up.

Speaker 15 (29:43):
Jimmy Hoffin's sa nothing like nothing, all the hype and
then like clouds.

Speaker 5 (29:49):
Okay, that's possible. I'll give you that.

Speaker 4 (29:51):
But right now, if you're in Lancaster, you're gonna see
a Lancaster and the Anlov Valley, Palmdale. It's thirty five.
It's going to be thirty five degrees tonight. Right now
it's in the fifties. It's fifty six degrees. So get
your jacket, get outside, get a lawn chair, look straight up,
look out of the southwest. At six o'clock and it'll

(30:14):
be leaving at six oh five. You have five minutes
to find it in the sky. It's going to be
coming out of the south southwest, leaving out of the
north northeast, and it could pass between you and the
moon and that may not happen again. And you heard
it here on KFI. So at six o'clock we'll be
on the roof of this building looking at it, not
taking pictures because you can't take pictures of that anymore yet.

(30:37):
We're not there with the cameras. Unless you have a
really high end camera, it's useless to take the pictures
but this is a big deal for southern California, and
I think we're the only ones reporting it. I've been
watching local TV news all day. Nobody said anything, and
nobody's saying anything on any other radio station. You are
tuned into the radio station that shows you stuff like
this and talks about stuff like this, and the only

(30:58):
one in the world.

Speaker 11 (31:00):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on De Maya from
KFI AM six forty KMI.

Speaker 4 (31:07):
AM at six forty It's Conway Show. Well, California, we're
all sitting here waiting for Santa to arrive. Well, not
quite Santa, but something similar. We're watching the International Space Station.
It was over Auckland, New Zealand, moments ago. Now it's
about five hundred miles south of Hawaii, five or six

(31:32):
hundred miles south of Hawaii right now, and in nine Wow,
can you believe that? In nine minutes it's south of
Hawaii right now. In nine minutes, you'll be able to
seat over California. That's how fast this thing's moving. Seventeen thousand,
one hundred and twenty one miles an hour. It's going

(31:52):
to be visible to the naked eye today six pm
until six oh five. It'll come up over the west southwest,
it'll leave over the north northeast. It'll be visible for
five minutes and of forty one degrees. If you live
in San Jose, it's eighty seven degrees. That's nearly right
above your head. So if you're listening on iHeartRadio anywhere

(32:15):
in California, anywhere in Oregon, or anywhere in the United States,
you're gonna see the International Space Station come over California
at six o'clock. It'll go, it'll cross northern Nevada, it'll
dip in a little bit into Idaho, Wyoming, North Dakota,
and then into Canada. It'll cross Canada, and then the
next land mass it'll be over is Africa. So it's

(32:38):
the only time you can really see the International Space
Station with a naked eye, and clearly is two hours
before the sun rises or two hours after the sunsets. Well,
we're in that witching hour right now, two hours. We're
within two hours of sunset. I tell you exactly what

(33:00):
when sunset was here? I think it was. Let's see
when the sun sets here. It sets at four, right
around five. That doesn't say here, all right, So we're
fairly close to I'll tell you what it is. It

(33:20):
comes up at six twenty seven, it sets at four
forty seven. Okay, so we're in that time. Four forty
seven is when the sun went down four forty seven,
and now it's less than two hours after that, so
we're in the perfect witching hour.

Speaker 5 (33:33):
It's coming over California.

Speaker 4 (33:35):
It's it's now south east of Hawaii by five hundred
and fifty miles. It will be over California at six o'clock,
at least here in Los Angeles, six o'clock. San Francisco
a little later, about a minute later, and it will
cross right over San Jose. San Jose, you'll look straight
up and it'll be right above your head.

Speaker 15 (33:56):
A listener would like to know, will it be on
the south facing side of a plane flying from Denver
to LA if you're.

Speaker 4 (34:03):
Flying Denver to La. How depending on where they are, are
they calling from the plane or texting from the plane?

Speaker 5 (34:09):
If it seems like that, okay, yeah.

Speaker 4 (34:11):
Then you'll have to look out the window and look
towards the pilot. I look to front up to look
out the left hand side of the plane and look
towards the pilot. You'll be able to see it, and
when it crosses the plane, you'll have to get on
the other side and bother somebody on the other side
of the plane. Look at out that window on the

(34:32):
right side of the plane, the starboard side of the plane,
and you'll look back and you'll pass by the tail
of the plane. So it'll come up over the port
side of the plane, of the of the plane, and
it'll leave off the the starboard.

Speaker 5 (34:47):
Stern of the plane, if that makes sense.

Speaker 4 (34:49):
It'll come up over the pilot's left hand side, it'll
leave over the pilot's right hand side. And so if
you're on that plane listening, thank you for listening to
iHeart on a plane. That's kind of modern technology. All right,
an update on we're five minutes away from you'll be
able to start to see it at six o'clock, so
get ready to see it at six pm. You're going

(35:13):
to start to see it in about five minutes and
it'll be visible for five minutes. Look southwest, south southwest,
that's where you'll see it, and then it'll leave north northeast.
And because of the moon tonight, somebody in California maybe
not be us. I think we're a little too far south,
but somebody further north they'll see that space station come up,

(35:36):
cross the moon and continue on northeast. For all three
things to happen in one day is extremely rare. I've
never seen it before where the timing is perfect, location
is perfect, and the moon is as big as it's
been in months or would you say years, Bellium, I mean,
it's huge.

Speaker 5 (35:56):
We've got a beaver moon. A beaver moon.

Speaker 4 (35:59):
Man come on anyway, So we're going to go to
the roof here in a second and check this out.

Speaker 5 (36:05):
It is. It's now past Hawaii.

Speaker 4 (36:09):
Hawaii is now due west of the space station by
about I don't know. It looks like about a thousand
miles or so, and the space station is on its way.
You can literally start to see it in five minutes,
and this big circle where it's visible to Earth.

Speaker 5 (36:28):
So right now, if you're in Hawaii.

Speaker 4 (36:30):
You can't see it because the sun's up there, but
if it was dark in Hawaii, you could see it
right now, And at one point in about three minutes,
you'll be able to see it in California and Hawaii
at the same time, which is also pretty rare. This
trajectory is pretty pretty rare. So we're going to see
it here. It's right off the coast of California. If
I put my thumb up there by about my thumbnail

(36:52):
and so in the next three or four minutes, three
minutes you're going to start to see it come over California.
We're going to go to the roof. We're gonna break
a little earlier. We're gonna go to the roof for
report back from the roof. See we can see it
with our naked eye, and it may cross the moon,
who knows. But look up right now and you'll see
the International Space Station.

Speaker 5 (37:11):
With your naked eye.

Speaker 4 (37:12):
