(01:38):
and please welcome the forty fifth Presidentof the United States, Donald Trump.
Gentlemen, thanks so much for beinghere. Let's begin the debate, and
let's start with the issue that votersconsistently said is their top concern, the
(02:01):
economy, President Biden, inflation hasslowed, but prices remain high. Since
you took office, the price ofessentials has increased. For example, a
basket of groceries that cost one hundreddollars then now costs more than one hundred
and twenty dollars, and typical homeprices have jumped more than thirty percent.
(02:21):
What do you say to voters whofeel they are worse off under your presidency
than they were under President Trump. We got to take a look at what
I was left when I became president, what mister Trump left me. We
had an economy that was in freefall. The pandemic was so badly handled.
Many people were dying. All hesaid was, it's not that serious.
Just inject a little bleach into yourarm. You'll be all right.
(02:43):
The economy collapsed, there were nojobs, Unemployment ray rose to fifteen percent.
It was terrible. And so whatwe had to do is try to
put things back together again. That'sexactly what we began to do. We
created fifteen thousand new jobs. Webrought out on the position where we have
eight one thousand now manufacturing jobs. But there's more to be done. There's
more to be done. Working classpeople are still in trouble. I come
(03:06):
from Scranton, Pennsylvania. I comeof household. We're at the kitchen tables.
The things weren't able to be metduring the month. It was a
problem. Price of eggs, theprice of gas, the price of housing,
the price of a whole range ofthings. That's why I'm working so
hard to make sure I deal withthose problems. And we're going to make
sure that we reduce the price ofhousing. We're going to make sure we
build two two million new units. We're going to make sure we cap rents
(03:29):
so corporate greed can't take over thecombination. But I was left within corporate
greed are the reason why we're inthis problem right now. In addition to
that, we're in a situation whereif you had to take a look at
all that was done in his administration, he didn't do much at all.
By the time he left there thingsthat were in chaos, literally chaos.
And so we put things back together. We created I said, those jobs.
(03:51):
We make sure we had a situationwhere we now. We brought down
the price of prescription drugs, whichis a major issue for many people,
to fifteen dollars for for an insuluenceshot as opposed to four hundred dollars.
No senior has to pay more thantwo hundred dollars for any jug all the
jobs they could include begetting next year, and the situation is making and we're
(04:12):
going to make that available to everybody, to all Americans. So we're working
to bring down the price of aroundthe kitchen table. And that's what we're
going to get done. Thank you, President Trump. We have the greatest
economy in the history of our country. We have never done so well.
Everybody was amazed by and other countrieswere copying us. We got hit with
COVID and when we did, wespent the money necessary so we wouldn't end
(04:38):
up in a great depression the likesof which we had in nineteen twenty nine
by the time we finished. Sowe did a great job. We got
a lot of credit for the economy, a lot of credit for the military,
and no wars and so many otherthings. Everything was rock and good.
But the thing we never got thecredit for, and we should have,
is getting us out of that COVIDmess. He created mandates that was
(04:58):
a disaster for our country. Butother than that, we had given them
back a country where the stock marketactually was higher than pre COVID, and
nobody thought that was even possible. The only jobs he created are for the
legal immigrants and bounce back jobs tobounce back from the COVID. He has
not done a good job. He'sdone a poor job. In inflation's killing
our country. It is absolutely killingus. Thank you, President Biden.
(05:23):
Well, if the greatest economy inthe world, he's the only one who
thinks that. I think god anybodyelse who thinks the greatest economy in the
world. And you know the factof the matter is that we prined ourselves
in a situation where his economy,he rewarded the wealthy. He had the
largest tax cut in American history twotwo million dollars. He raised a deficit
(05:44):
larger than any president has in anyone term. He's the only president other
than Herbert Hoover who's had lost morejobs than he had when he began.
Since Herbert Hoover. The idea thathe did something that was significant in the
military. You know, when hewas president, they were still killing pe
people in Afghanistan. He didn't doanything about that. When he was president.
We still find ourselves in a positionwhere you had a notion that we
(06:08):
were this safe country. The truthis, I'm the only president this century
that doesn't have this decade that anytroops dying anywhere in the world like he
did. President Trump, I wantto follow up if I can. You
are allowed to respond to him.Well, I'm going to ask you a
follow up. You can do whateveryou want with the minute that we give
you. I want to follow up. You want to impose a ten percent
(06:30):
tariff on all goods coming into theUS. How will you ensure that that
doesn't drive prices even higher. We'renot going to drive them higher. It's
just going to cost countries that havebeen ripping us off for years like China
and many others. In all fairnessto China, it's going to just force
them to pay us a lot ofmoney, reduce our deficit tremendously, and
give us a lot of power forother things. But would he made a
(06:50):
statement. The only thing he wasright about is I gave you the largest
tax cut in history. I alsogave you the largest regulation cut in history.
That's why we had all the jobs. And the jobs went down and
then they bounced back. And he'staking credit for bounce back jobs. You
can't do that. He also saidhe inherited nine percent inflation. Now he
inherited almost no inflation. And itstayed that way for fourteen months, and
(07:13):
then it blew up under his leadershipbecause they spent money like a bunch of
people that didn't know what they weredoing. And they don't know what they
were doing. It was the worst, probably the worst administration in history that
has never been And as far asAfghanistan is concerned, I was getting out
of Afghanistan, but we're getting outwith dignity, with strength, with power.
He got out. It was themost embarrassing day in the history of
(07:34):
our country's life. President Trump.Over the last eight years, under both
of your administrations, the national debtsoared to record highs, and according to
a new nonpartisan analysis, President Trump, your administration approved eight point four trillion
dollars in new debt. Well,so far, President Biden, you've approved
four point three trillion dollars in newdebt. So, Former President Trump,
(07:55):
many of the tax cuts that yousigned into law are set to expire next
year. To extend them and goeven further, you say, with the
US facing trillion dollar deficits and recorddebt, why should top earners and corporations
pay even less in taxes than theydo now? Because the tax spurred the
greatest economy that we've ever seen, just prior to COVID, and even after
(08:16):
COVID it was so strong that we'reable to get through COVID much better than
just about any other country. Butwe spurred that tax spurreed now when we
cut the taxes. As an example, the corporate tax was cut down to
twenty one percent from thirty nine percent. Plus Beyond that, we took in
more revenue with much less tax,and companies were bringing back trillions of dollars
(08:37):
back into our country. The countrywas going like never before. And we
were ready to start paying down debt. We're already start using the liquid gold
right under our feet, the oiland gas right under our feet. We
were going to have something that nobodyelse has had. We got hit with
COVID. We did a lot tofix it. I gave him an unbelievable
situation with all of the therapeutics andall of the things that we came up
(09:01):
with. We gave him something great. Remember, more people died under his
administration, even though we had largelyfixed it. More people died under his
administration than our administration, and wewere right in the middle of it,
something which a lot of people don'tlike to talk about, but he had
far more people dying in his administration. He did the mandate, which is
(09:22):
a disaster, mandating it the vaccinewent out. He did a mandate on
the vaccine, which is the thingthat people most objected to about the vaccine.
And he did a very poor job, just a very poor job.
And I will tell you not onlypoor there, but throughout the entire world.
We're no longer respected as a country. They don't respect our leadership,
they don't respect the United States anymore. We're like a third world nation.
(09:45):
Between weaponization of his election, tryingto go after his political opponent, all
of the things he's done, we'vebecome like a third world nation. And
it's a shame the damage he's doneto our country. And I'd love to
ask him and will why he allowedme hodgins of people to come in here
from prisons, jails and mental institutionsto come into our country and destroy our
(10:05):
country. President Trump. We willget to immigration later in this block.
President Biden, I want to giveyou an opportunity to respond to this question
about the national debt. He hadthe largest national debt of any president four
year period. Number one, Numbertwo, he got two trillion dollar tasks
could benefited the very wealthy. WhatI'm going to do is fix the taxes.
(10:26):
And for example, we have onethousand trillionaires in America, I mean
billionaires in America, and what's happening. They're in a situation where they in
fact pay eight point two percent intaxes. If they just paid twenty four
twenty five percent, either one ofthose numbers, they'd raise five hundred million
dollars billion dollars. I should sayin a ten year period, we'd be
able to wipe out his debt,we'd be able to help make sure that
(10:50):
all those things we need to do, childcare, elder care, making sure
that we continue to suppremt strength inour healthcare system, making sure that we're
able to make every single solid daryperson eligible for what I've been able to
do with with the COVID I Scould be with dealing with everything we have
to do with. Look, ifwe finally beat medicare, thank you President
(11:18):
abouten President Trump, He's right. He did beat Medicare. He beat it
to death. And he's destroying Medicarebecause all of these people are coming in,
they're putting them on Medicare, They'reputting them on social Security. They're
going to destroy social security. Thisman is going to single handedly destroy social
security. These millions and millions ofpeople coming in, they're trying to put
(11:39):
them on social Security. He willwipe out social Security. He will wipe
out Medicare. So he was rightin the way he finished that sentence.
And it's a shame. What's happenedto our country in the last four years
is not to be believed foreign countries. I'm friends with a lot of people
they cannot believe what happened to theUnited States of America. We're no longer
(12:00):
respected. They don't like us.We give them everything they want, and
they think we're stupid. They thinkwe're very stupid people. What we're doing
for other countries and they do nothingfor us. What this man has done
is absolutely criminal. Thank you,President Trump, Dana. This is the
first presidential election since the Supreme Courtoverturned Roe v. Wade. This morning,
(12:24):
the Court ruled on yet another abortioncase, temporarily allowing emergency abortions to
continue in Idaho despite that state's restrictiveban. Former President Trump, you take
credit for the decision to overturn Roev. Wade, which returned the issue
of abortion to the states. Correct. However, the federal government still plays
(12:46):
a role in whether or not womenhave access to abortion pills. They're used
in about two thirds of all abortions. As president, would you block abortion
medication? Well, the Supreme Courtjust approved the abortion bill, and I
agree with their decision to have donethat, and I will not block it.
(13:07):
And if you look at this wholequestion that you're asking, a complex
but not really complex. Fifty oneyears ago, you had Roe v.
Wade, and everybody wanted to getit back to the States. Everybody without
exception, Democrats, Republicans, liberals, conservatives, everybody wanted it back,
religious leaders. And what I didis I put three great Supreme Court justices
(13:28):
on the court and they happened tovote in favor of killing Roe v.
Wade and moving it back to theStates. This is something that everybody wanted.
Now. Ten years ago or so, they started talking about how many
weeks and how many of this gettinginto other things, But every legal scholar
throughout the world, the most respected, wanted it brought back to the states.
(13:50):
I did that. Now the statesare working it out. If you
look at Ohio, it was adecision that was it was an end result
that was a little bit more liberalthan you would have thought. Kansas would
say the same thing. Texas isdifferent, Florida is different. But they're
all making their own decisions right now, and right now the states control it.
That's the vote of the people.Like Ronald Reagan, I believe in
(14:11):
the exceptions. I am a personthat believes, and frankly, I think
it's important to believe in the exceptions. Some people you have to follow your
heart. Some people don't believe inthat, but I believe in the exceptions
for rape, incest and the lifeof the mother. I think it's very
important. Some people don't follow yourheart, but you have to get elected
also, and because that has todo with other things, you got to
(14:33):
get elected. The problem they haveis they're radical because they will take the
life of a child in the eighthmonth and ninth month, and even after
birth, after birth. If youlook at the former governor of Virginia,
he was willing to do this.He said, we'll put the baby aside
and we'll determine what we do withthe baby, meaning we'll kill the baby.
What happens. We brought it backto the States and the country is
(14:56):
now coming together on this issue. It's been a great Thank you, President
Biden. It's been a terrible thingwhat you've done. The fact is that
the vast majority of consuls and scholarssupport it ROW when it was decided,
support it ROW, and that wasthat's this idea that they're all against it.
It's just ridiculous. And this isthe guy who says the States should
be able to have it. We'rea state where in six weeks you don't
(15:20):
even know whether you're pregnant or not. But you cannot see a doctor,
have your and have him decide onwhat your circumstances are when you need help.
The idea that states are able todo this is a little like saying
we're going to turn civil rights backto the states. Let each state have
a different rule. Look, there'sso many young women who have been including
a young woman who just was murdered, and he went to the funeral,
(15:43):
and the idea that she was murderedby by an immigrant coming in. They
talk about that, But here's thedeal. There's a lot of young women
to be raped by their in laws, by their spouses, brothers and sisters,
by or it's just ridiculous and theycan do nothing about it, and
(16:03):
they try to rest them on thecross state line. Thank you. There
have been many young women murdered bythe same people he allows to come across
our border. We have a borderthat's the most dangerous place anywhere in the
world, considered the most dangerous placeanywhere in the world, and he opened
it up, and these killers arecoming into our country and they are raping
and killing women, and it's aterrible thing. As far as the abortion
(16:26):
is concerned, it is now backwith the states. The states are voting.
In many cases, it's frankly avery liberal decision. In many cases
it's the opposite. But they're voting, and it's bringing it back to the
vote of the people, which iswhat everybody wanted, including the founders if
they knew about this issue, whichfrankly they didn't, but they would have.
(16:47):
Everybody wanted brought back. Ronald Reaganwanted it brought back. He wasn't
able to get it. Everybody wantedit brought back, and many presidents had
tried to get it back. Iwas the one to do it. And
again, this gives it the voteof the people, and that's where they
wanted it. Every legal scholar wantedit that way. Staying on the topic
of abortion, President Biden, sevenstates, I'll let you do that.
(17:10):
This is the same topic. Sevenstates have no legal restrictions on how far
into a pregnancy a woman can obtainan abortion. Do you support any legal
limits on how late a woman shouldbe able to terminate a pregnancy. I
supported Roe v. Wade, whichhad three trimesters. The first time is
between the woman and the doctor, second time is between the doctor and an
(17:33):
extreme situation. The third time isbetween the doctor, I mean between the
women and the state. The ideathat the politicians, that the founders wanted
the politicians to be the ones makingdecisions a boy woman's health is ridiculous.
That's the last No politician should bemaking that decision. A doctor should be
making those decisions. That's how itshould be wrong. That's what you're going
(17:55):
to do. And if I'm elected, I'm going to restore Roe v.
Wade so that means he can takethe life of the baby in the ninth
month and even after birth, becausesome states Democrat run take it after birth.
Again, the governor, former governorof Virginia put the baby down that
we decide what to do with it. So he's willing to, as we
(18:15):
say, rip the baby out ofthe womb in the ninth month and kill
the baby. Nobody wants that tohappen, Democrat or Republican, nobody wants
it to happen. That is simplynot true. The Roe v. Wade
does not provide for that. That'snot the circumstance. Only woman's life is
in danger. She's going to die. That's the only circumstance. Whence that
can happen, but we are notfor late term abortion period period period.
(18:40):
Under Roe v. Wade, youhave late term abortion. You can do
whatever you want. Depending on thestate, you can do whatever you want.
We don't think that's a good thing. We think it's a radical thing.
We think the Democrats of the radicals, not the Republicans. For fifty
one years, that was the law. Fifty one years. Constance of Scholarships
said it was the right way togo fifty one years and was taken away
(19:00):
because this guy puts very conservative memberson the Supreme Court. He takes credit
for taking it away. What's hegoing to do? What's he going to
do? In fact, if theymet Maga Republicans, he gets elected and
the Maga Republicans control the Congress, and they pass on the universal van on
abortion period across the board at sixweeks or seven or eight or ten weeks.
(19:21):
Something very very conservative is you're goingto sign that bill. I'll veto
it, He'll sign it. Thankyou. Let's turn out of the issue
of immigration and border security. PresidentBiden, a record number of migrants have
illegally crossed the southern border on yourwatch, overwhelming border states and overburdening cities
such as New York and Chicago, and in some cases causing real safety and
(19:41):
security concerns. Given that, whyshould voters trust you to solve this crisis?
Because we worked very hard to geta bipartisan agreement that not only changed
all of that and made sure thatwe are in a situation where you had
no circumstance where they could come acrossthe border with the number of border p
through are now we significantly increase thenumber of asylum officers significantly by the way
(20:04):
the Border patrol endorsed me, endorsedmy position. In addition to that,
we found ourselves in a situation wherewhen he was president, he was taking
separating babies from my mother's put himin cages, making sure none of the
families are separated. That's not theright way to go. What I've done
since I've changed the law, what'shappened. I've changed it in the way
(20:25):
that now you're in a situation wherethere are forty percent fewer people coming across
the border illegally. It's better thanwhen he left office. And I'm going
to continue to move until we getthe total ban on the total initiative relative
to what we're going to do withmore border patrol and more asylum officers.
President Trump, I really don't knowwhat he said at the end of this,
(20:48):
and I don't think he knows whathe said either. Look, we
had the safest border in the historyof our country the board. All he
had to do was leave it.All he had to do is leave it.
He decided to open up our border, open up our country to people
that are from prisons, people thatare from mental institutions, in sant asylum
terrorists. We have the largest numberof terrorists coming into our country right now,
(21:11):
all terrorists all over the world, not just in South America, all
over the world. They come fromthe Middle East, everywhere, all over
the world. They're pouring in.And this guy just left it open.
And he didn't need legislation. BecauseI didn't have legislation. I said,
close the border. We had thesafest border in history. In that final
couple of months of my presidency,we had according to border patrol, who
(21:33):
is great and by the way,who endorsed me for president. But I
won't say that, but they endorseme for president. Randon just speak to
them. But look, we hadthe safest border in history. Now,
we have the worst border in history. There's never been anything like it,
and people are dying all over theplace, including the people that are coming
up in Trump, President Biden. The only terrorist who've done anything across the
(21:55):
border is one who came along andkilled three on his administration, kill an
a Kaida person, come in andhis administration kill three American soldiers, kill
three American soldiers. That's the onlyterrorists that there. I'm not saying a
no terrorist ever got through with theidea they're emptying their prisons where we're welcoming
these people. That's simply not true. There's no data to support what he
(22:18):
said. Once again, he's exaggerating, he's lying. President Trump. Staying
on the topic of immigration, you'vesaid that you're going to carry out quote,
the largest domestic deportation operation in Americanhistory unquote. Does that mean that
you will deport every undocumented immigrant inAmerica, including those who have jobs,
including those who spouses are citizens, and including those who have lived here for
(22:40):
decades? And if so, howwill you do it? Just one second,
he said, we killed three people. The people we killed are l
Bag Daddy and Salamani, the twogreatest biggest terrorists anywhere in the world,
and it had a huge impact oneverything, not just border, on everything.
He's the one that killed people witha bad water, hundreds of thousands
(23:02):
of people dying, and also killingour citizens when they come in. We
are living right now in a ratsnest. They're killing our people in New
York, in California, and everystate in the Union because we don't have
borders anymore. Every state is nowa border. And because of his ridiculous,
insane and very stupid policies, peopleare coming in and they're killing our
(23:25):
citizens at a level that we've neverseen. We call it migrant crime.
I call it Biden migrant crime. They're killing our citizens at a level that
we've never seen before. And you'rereading it like these three incredible young girls
over the last few days. Oneof them. I just spoke to the
mother and he just had the funeralfor this girl twelve years old. This
(23:45):
is horrible what's taken place, what'staken place in our country. We're literally
an uncivilized country now. He doesn'twant it to be. He just doesn't
know. He opened the borders.Nobody's ever seen anything like. We have
to get a lot of these peopleout and we have to get them out
fast because they're going to destroy ourcountry. Just take a look at where
they're living. They're living in luxuryhotels in New York City and other places.
(24:11):
Our veterans are on the street. They're dying because he doesn't care about
our veterans. He doesn't care.He doesn't like the military at all,
and he doesn't care about our veterans. Nobody had been worse. I had
the highest approval rating for veterans takingcare of the VA. He is the
worst. He's gotten rid of allthe things that I approved, choice that
I got through Congress, all ofthe different things I approved, they abandoned.
(24:32):
We had by far the highest, and now it's down in less than
half because he's done all these greatthings that we did, and I think
he did it just because I approvedit, which is crazy. But he
has killed so many people at ourborder by lacking all of these people to
come in, and that a verysad day. You remember, you have
the MinC. Every single thing hesaid is a lie, every single one.
For example, veterans are a hellof a lot better off since I
(24:56):
passed the pack dack one million ofthem now have assurance and their families have
it. Their families have it becausewhat happened, whether it was Asian orange
or burn pits, they're all beingcovered now. And he opposed his group
opposed that. We're also in asituation where we have great respect for veterans.
I spent my son spent a yearin Iraq living one of the next
to one of those burn pits.Came back with States for Gliobastoma. I
(25:19):
was recently in France for D Dayand I spoke to all about those heroes
that died. I went to theWorld War II cemetery, World War One
cemetery he refused to go to.He was standing with his four star general
and he told me, said,I don't want to go in there because
they're a bunch of loser and suckers. My son was not a loser,
was not a sucker. You're thesucker. You're the loser. President Trump.
(25:44):
First of all, that was amade up quote. Suckers and losers.
They made it up. It wasin the third rate magazine that's failing,
like many of these magazines. Hemade that up. He put it
in commercials. We've notified him,we had nineteen people that said I didn't
say it, And think of this, who would say at a cemetery or
I'm talking about our veterans because nobody'staken better camp. So glad this came
up and he brought it up.There's nobody that's taken better care of our
(26:08):
soldiers than I have to think thatI would in front of generals and others
say suckers and losers. We havenineteen people that said it was never said
by me. It was made upby him, just like Russia. Russia.
Russia was made up, just likethe fifty one intelligence agents are made
up. Just like the new thingwith the sixteen economists are talking. It's
(26:30):
the same thing. Fifty one intelligenceagents said that the laptop was Russia disinformation.
It wasn't. That came from hisson Hunter. It wasn't Russia disinformation.
He made up the suckers and losers. So he should apologize to me
right now. Four star general standardsside was on your staff who said you
said it? Period? That's numberone and number two the idea, the
(26:55):
idea that I have to apologize toyou for anything along the line. We've
done more for Vet as any presidenthas in American history, American history,
and they now are in their family. The only sacred obligation we have as
a country is to care for ourveterans when they come home and their families
and equip them when they go towar. That's what we're doing. That's
what the VA is doing. Now. They're doing more for veterans than ever
(27:17):
before in our history. All Right, thank you so much for let's move
to the topic of foreign policy.I want to begin with Russia's war against
Ukraine, which is now in itsthird year. Former President Trump. Russian
President Vladimir Putin says he'll only endthis war if Russia keeps the Ukrainian territory
it has already claimed and Ukraine abandonsits bid to join NATO. Are Putin's
(27:42):
terms acceptable to you? First ofall, our veterans and our soldiers can't
stand this guy. They can't standhim. They think is the worst commander
in chief, if that's what youcall them, that we've ever had.
They can't stand him. So let'sget that straight. And they like me
more than just about any of them. And that's based on every single bit
(28:03):
of information as far as Russia andUkraine. If we had a real president,
the president that knew that was respectedby Putin, he would have never
He would have never invaded Ukraine.A lot of people are dead right now,
much more than people know. Youknow, they talk about numbers.
You can double those numbers, maybetriple those numbers. He did nothing to
stop it. In fact, Ithink he encouraged Russia from going in.
(28:26):
I'll tell you what happened. Hewas so bad with Afghanistan. It was
such a horrible embarrassment, most embarrassingmoment in the history of our country that
when Putin watched that and he sawthe incompetence, that he should have fired
those generals, like I fired theone that you mentioned. So he's got
no love loss, but he shouldhave fired those generals. No general got
fired for the most embarrassing moment inthe history of our country Afghanistan, where
(28:51):
we left billions of dollars of equipmentbehind, we lost thirteen beautiful soldiers and
thirty eight soldiers were obliterated. Andby the way we left people behind,
we left American citizens behind. WhenPutin saw that, he said, you
know what, I think We're goingto go in and maybe take my This
was his dream. I talked tohim about his dream. The difference is
(29:11):
he never would have invaded You couldnever, just like Israel would have never
been invaded in a million years byHamas. You know why, because Iran
was broke with me. I wouldn'tlet anybody do business with him. They
ran out of money, they werebroke. They had no money for Amas,
they had no money for anything,no money for terror. That's why
(29:33):
you had no terror at all duringmy administration. This place, the whole
world is blowing up under him,President Biden. I never heard so much
monarchy in my whole life. Look, the fact of the matter is that
we're in a situation where let's takethe last point. First, Iran attacked
American troops, kill, brain damagefor a number of these troops, and
(29:55):
he did nothing about it. Recentlywhen he was president there they attacked,
said they're just having headaches, that'sall it is. He didn't do a
thing when the attack took place.Number one. Number two, we got
over one hundred thousand Americans and othersout of Afghanistan during that airlift. Number
three. We found ourselves in asituation where if you take a look at
(30:18):
what Trump did in Ukraine, thisguy told Ukraine. He told Trump,
do whatever you want, and dowhatever you want. And that's exactly what
Trump did to Food and encourage them, do whatever you want. And he
went in and listen to what hesaid. When he went in, he
was going to take Kiev in fivedays, remember, because it's part of
the old Soviet Union. That's whathe wanted to re established Kiev. And
(30:41):
he in fact didn't do it atall. He didn't wasn't able to get
it done. And they've lost overthey've lost thousands and thousands of troops,
five hundred thousand troops. President Trump, for one minute, I just want
to go back to my original question, which is, are Putin's terms acceptable
to you? Keeping the now they'reunrespectable. No, they're not acceptable.
(31:03):
But look, this is a warthat never should have started. If we
had a leader in this war.He led everybody along. He's given two
hundred billion dollars now or more toUkraine. He's given two hundred billion dollars.
That's a lot of money. Idon't think there's ever been anything like
it. Every time that Zelensky comesto this country, he walks away with
sixty billion dollars. He's the greatestsalesman never And I'm not knocking him.
(31:25):
I'm not knocking anything. I'm onlysaying he's the money that we're spending on
this war, and we shouldn't bespending it should have never happened. I
will have that war settled between Putinand Zelensky as president elect before I take
office on January twentieth, I'll havethat war settled. People being killed so
needlessly, so stupidly, and Iwill get it settled, and I'll get
(31:49):
it settled fast before I take office. And you have to set it.
The fact is that Putin is awar criminal. He's killed thousands of thousands
of people, and he has madeone thing clear. He wants to re
establish what was part of the SovietEmpire, not just a piece, and
wants all of Ukraine. That's whathe wants. And then you think he'll
(32:12):
stop there? Do you think he'llstop when he If he takes Ukraine,
what do you think happens to thePole? What do you think of Bela
Ruths, What do you think happensto those NATO countries? And so if
you want a war, you oughtto find out what he's going to do,
because if in fact he does whathe says and walks away. By
the way, all that money wegive Ukraine and from weapons we make here
in the United States, we givehim the weapons, not the money at
(32:35):
this point, and our NATO allieshave produced as much funding for Ukraine as
we have. That's why we're strong. Thank you. Moving on to the
Middle East. In October, Hamasattacked Israel, killing more than a thousand
people and taking hundreds of hostages.Among those held and thought to still be
alive are five Americans. Israel's responsehas killed thousands of Palestinians and created a
(33:01):
humanitarian crisis in Gaza. President Biden, you've put forward a proposal to resolve
this conflict, but so far Hamashas not released the remaining hostages and Israel
is continuing its military offensive in Gaza. So what additional leverage will you use
(33:21):
to get Hamas and Israel to endthe war. You have two minutes.
Number one, Everyone from the UnitedNations Security Council straight through to the G
seven, to the Israelis and Nettnawhimself have endorsed the planet put Forward.
Endorsed the planet Put Forward, whichhas three stages to it. The first
stage is treated the hostages for aceasefire. Second phase is a ceasefire with
(33:46):
additional conditions. The third phase isno the end of the war. The
only one who wants the word tocontinue is Hamas number one. They're the
only ones stand now. We're stillpushing hard to get them to accept.
In the meantime what's happened in Israel. We'll find us that the only thing
I've denied Israel was two thousand poundbombs. They don't work very well in
(34:08):
populated areas. They kill a lotinto some people. We're providing Israel with
all the weapons they need and whenthey need them. And by the way,
I'm the guy that organized the worldagainst Iran. When they had a
full blown, intercond realistic missile attackon Israel, no one was hurt,
no one ISRAELI was accidentally built andit just stopped. We saved Israel.
(34:31):
We are the biggest producer of supportfor Israel of anyone in the world.
And so that's there are two differentthings. A moss cannot be allowed to
be continued. We continue to sendour experts and are in tons people so
how they can get a moss likewe did. Ben Laden, you don't
have to do it. And bythe way, they've been greatly weakened,
(34:51):
a mass, greatly weakened, andthey should be they should be eliminated.
But you've got to be careful forwhat using certain weapons among populations centers.
He just going back to Ukraine forone second. We have an ocean separating
us. The European nations together havespent one hundred billion or maybe more than
(35:13):
that, less than us. Whydoesn't he call them? So, you
got to put up your money likeI did with NATO. I got them
to put up hundreds of billions ofdollars. A secretary general of NATO said,
Trump did the most incredible job I'veever seen. They wouldn't have any
They were going out of business. We were spending almost one hundred percent of
the money was paid by us.He didn't do that. He's getting old.
(35:35):
You got to ask these people toput up the money. We're over
one hundred billion dollars more spent, and it has a bigger impact on them
because of location, because we havea nocean in between. You got to
ask them. As far as Israeland Hamas, Israel's the one that wants
to go, he said, theonly one that wants to keep going.
Is Amas, actually Israel is theone, and you should let him go
(35:55):
and let him finish the job.He doesn't want to do it. He's
become like a Palestinian, but theydon't like him because he's a very bad
Palacini. He's a weak one.President Biden, you have a minute.
I've never heard so much foolishness. This is a guy who wants to get
out of NATO. You going tostay in NATO, and you're going to
pull out of NATO. The ideathat we have our strength lies in our
(36:16):
alliances as well, and may bea big ocean, but we ever able
to avoid a war in Europe,a major war in Europe. What happens
if, in fact, you havePutin continue to go into NATO. We
have an Article five agreement, Attackon one, attack on all. You
want to start the nuclear war.He keeps talking about, go ahead,
let Putin go in and control Ukraineand then move on to Poland in other
(36:38):
places. You see what happens. Then he has no idea what Helly's talking
about. And by the way,I got fifty other nations around the world
to support Ukraine, including Japan andSouth Korea because they understand that this was
this kind of dislocation has a seriousthreat to the whole world peace. No
major war in Europe has ever beenable to be contained. Just to Europe,
(37:01):
President Trump, just to follow up, would you support the creation of
an independent Palestinian state in order toachieve peace in the region. I'd have
to see. But before we dothat, the problem we have is that
we spend all the money, sothey kill us. On trade, I
made great trade deals with the Europeannations because if you add them up,
they're about the same size economically.Their economy is about the same size as
(37:24):
the United States. And they werewritten, no cars, No, they
don't want anything that we have, but we're supposed to take their cars,
their food, their everything, theiragriculture. I changed that. But the
big thing I changed is they don'twant to pay. And the only reason
that he can play games with NATOis because I got them to put up
hundreds of billions of dollars, Isaid, and he's right about this.
(37:46):
I said, no, I'm notgoing to support NATO if you don't pay.
They asked me that question, wouldyou guard us against Russia? At
a very secret meeting of the twentyeight states at that time, nations at
that time, and they said,no, if you don't pay, I
won't do that. And you knowwhat happened. Billions and billions of dollars
came flowing in the next day,in the next months. But now we're
(38:08):
in the same position. We're payingeverybody's bills. Let's turn to the issue
of democracy of former President Trump.I want to ask you about January sixth,
twenty twenty one. After you ralliedyour supporters that day, some of
them stormed the capital to stop theconstitutionally mandated counting of electoral votes. As
president, you swore an oath toquote, preserve, protect, and defend
(38:30):
unquote the Constitution. What do yousay to voters who believe that you violated
that oath through your actions and inactionon January sixth, and worry that you'll
do it again. Well, Idon't think too many believe that. And
let me tell you about January sixth. On January sixth, we had a
great border, nobody coming through, very few. On January sixth, we
were energy independent. On January sixth, we had the lowest taxes ever.
(38:52):
We had the lowest regulations. Ever, on January sixth, we were respected
all over the world, all overthe world world, we were respected,
and then he comes in and whennow left that we're like a bunch of
stupid people. That what happened tothe United States' reputation under this man's leadership
is horrible, including weaponization, whichI'm sure at some point you'll be talking
(39:15):
about where he goes after his politicalopponent because he can't beat him fair and
square. You have eighty seconds left. My question was, what do you
say to those voters who believe thatyou violated your constitutional oath through your actions
in action on January sixth, twentytwenty one, and worry that you'll do
it again. Well, I didn'tsay that to anybody. I said peacefully
(39:36):
and patriotically. And Nancy Pelosi,if you just watched the news from two
days ago on tape to her daughterwho's a documentary filmmaker, they say,
but she's saying, oh no,it's my responsibility. I was responsible for
this because I offered her ten thousandsoldiers or National Guard, and she turned
them down, and the mayor ofin writing, by the way, the
(39:58):
mayor in writing turned it down. The mayor of DC. They turned it
down. I offered ten thous becauseI could see I had virtually nothing to
do. They asked me to gomake a speech. I could see what
was happening to everybody was saying, they're going to be there on January sixth.
They've got to be there. AndI said, you know what,
there's a lot of people coming. You could feel it. You could feel
it too, and you could feelit. And I said, they ought
(40:20):
to have some national guard or whatever. And I offered it to her,
and she now admits that she turnedit down, and it was the same
day she was I don't know.He can't be very happy with her daughter
because it made her into a liar. She said, I take full responsibility
for January sixth. President Biden.Look, he encouraged those folks who up
(40:42):
on capitoil number one. I satin the dining room off hival office.
He sat there for three hours, three hours watching begging being baked by his
vice president and a number of hiscolleagues and Republican side as well, to
do something, to call for astop to end it. Instead, he
talked, they've talked about these peoplebeing patriots and the great patrons of America.
(41:04):
In fact, he says he'll notforgive them for what they've done.
You know, they've been convicted. He says he wants to commute their sentences
and say that no, but hewent to every single court in the nation.
I don't know how many cases, scores the cases, including the Supreme
Court, and they said they said, no, no, this guy,
this guy is responsible for doing whatis being was done. He did do
(41:29):
a damn thing. And these peopleshould be in jail, and they should
be the ones that are being heldaccountable. And he wants to let them
all out. And now he saysthat he loses again, such a whiner
that he is, that there couldbe a bloodbath, Thank you, President
Biden, President Trump. But they'vedone to some people that are so innocent.
You ought to be ashamed of yourselfwhat you have done. How you've
(41:51):
destroyed the lives of so many people. When they rip down Portland, when
they rip down many other cities. You go to minne So to Minneapolis,
what they've done there with the firesall over the city. If I didn't
bring in the National Guard, thatcity would have been destroyed. When you
look at all of the they tookover big chunks of Seattle. I was
(42:12):
all set to bring in the NationalGuard. They heard that, they saw
them coming, and they left immediately. What he said about this whole subject
is so off, peacefully, patriarch. One other thing, the Unselect Committee,
which is basically two horrible Republicans thatare all gone now out of office
and Democrats, all Democrats, theydestroyed and deleted all of the information they
(42:37):
found because they found out we wereright. We were right, and they
deleted and destroyed all of the information. They should go to jail for that.
If a Republican did that, theygo to the rank. President Trump,
President Biden, I want to giveyou a minute. The only person
in the stage is a convicted fellow. Is the man I'm looking at right
now. And the fact of thematter is he is. What he's telling
(42:57):
you is simply not true. Thefact is said there was no effort on
his part to stop what was goingon up in Capitol Hill, and all
those people, every one of thosewho are convicted, deserves to be convicted.
The idea that they didn't kill somebodyjust when it then broke down,
doors broke the windows, occupied offices, turned over desk to turn them over
(43:19):
statues. The idea that those peopleare patriots. Come on. When I
asked them the first two debates wehad, the debates we had first time
around, I said, well, you denounced the proud boy. He said
no, I'll tell them to standby the idea. He's refusing to.
Will you denounce these guys? Wedenounced the people we're talking about now,
(43:39):
we denounced the people who attack thatcapital. What are you going to do?
I'm going to give you a minute, President Trump for a follow up
question I have. After a juryconvicted you of thirty four felonies last month,
you said, if reelected, youwould quote have every right to go
after unquote your political opponents. Youjust talked about members of the Select Committee
(44:02):
on January sixth going to jail.Your main political opponent is standing on stage
with you tonight. Can you clarifyexactly what it means about you feeling you
have every right to go after yourpolitical opponents? Well, I said,
my retribution is going to be success. We're going to make this country successful
again, because right now it's afailing nation. My retribution is going to
be success. But when he talksabout a convicted fella, and his son
(44:23):
is a convicted fellon at a veryhigh level. His son is convicted,
going to be convicted, probably numerousother times should have been convicted before,
but his Justice apartment let the statuteof limitations lapse on the most important things.
But he could be a convicted fella. And as soon as he gets
out of office, Joe could bea convicted fellow with all of the things
that he's done. He's done horriblethings, all of the death cause at
(44:45):
the border, telling the Ukrainian peoplethat we're going to want a billion dollars
or you change the prosecutor. Otherwiseyou're not getting a billion dollars. If
I ever has said that, that'squid pro quo, that we're not going
to do anything. We're not goingto give you a billion dollars unless you
change you prosecute having to do withthe son. This man is a criminal.
(45:06):
This man you're lucky. You're lucky. I did nothing wrong. We'd
have a system that was rigged anddisgusting. I did nothing wrong. Thank
you, President Trump. President Biden, you have said I'm coming right to
you, sir. You well youwant to respond, go ahead, I'll
give you a minute to respond theidea that I did anything wrong relatives,
what you're talking about is outrageous. It's simply a lie. Number one.
(45:28):
Number two, the idea that youhave a right to seek retribution against any
American just because your president is wrong. It is simply wrong. No president's
ever spoken like that before. Nopresident in our history is spoken like that
before. Number three, the crimesthat you are still charged with. And
think of all the civil penalties youhave. How many billions of dollars do
you own? Civil penalties for molestinga woman of public, for doing a
(45:52):
whole range of things, of havingsex with a porn star on the night
while your wife was pregnant me,what were you talking about? You have
the morals of an alley cat night, Sir, I didn't have sex with
a porn star. Number one.Number two. That was a case that
was started and moved. They moveda high ranking official, a DJ into
(46:15):
the Manhattan DA's office to start thatcase. That case is going to be
appealed and won. We had avery terrible judge, a horrible judge Democrat.
The prosecutor were all high ranking Democratsappointed people, and both the civil
and the criminal he basically went afterhis political opponent because he thought it was
(46:37):
going to damage me. But whenthe public found out about these cases,
because they understand it better than hedoes. He has no idea what these
cases are. But when they foundout about these cases, you know what
they did. My poll numbers wentup, way up. You know that
because you're reporting it. And wetook in more money in the last two
weeks than we've ever taken in inthe history of any campaign. I don't
think any campaign has ever taken hundredsof millions if dollars came pouring in because
(47:00):
the public knows it's a scam andit's a guy that's after his political opponent
because he can't win fair and square. Thank you, President Trump. President
Biden, you have said, quoteDonald Trump and his MAGA Republicans are determined
to destroy American democracy. Do youbelieve that the tens of millions of Americans
who are likely to vote for PresidentTrump will be voting against American democracy?
(47:23):
The more they know about what he'sdone. Yes, the more they know
about what he's done, and there'slot more coming. He's got a lot
of cases down the road coming around. He's got a whole range of issues,
Yes to face. I don't knowwhat the juries will do, but
I do know he has a realproblem. And so the fact that could
you ever think you hear any presidentsay that I'm going to seek retribution?
(47:46):
Do you ever hear any presidents saythat? I thought him had some good
ideas? What got me involved torun the first place? After my son
had died and decided in Iraq?Because of Iraq, I said, I
wasn't going to run again until Isaw what happened to Charlottesville, Virginia.
People coming out of the woods carryingswastikis on torches, torches and singing the
(48:06):
same anisthemitic bile they sang when backin Germany? And what did and a
young woman got killed. They spoketo the mother and she they asked him,
They said, what what what doyou think of those people? The
people who the ones got killed wantto tried to stop it, and the
ones he said, I think they'refine people on both sides. What American
president whatever say Nazi's coming out offields carrying torches, singing the same nanismitic
(48:32):
bile, carrying swastikus were fine people. And this is the guy who says
Hitler's done some good things. Ilike to know what they are, the
good things Hitler's done. That's whathe said. This guy has no sense
of American democracy. Bus Trump,Jake, both of you know that story
has been totally wiped out because whenyou see the sentence, it said one
(48:53):
hundred percent exoneration on this. Sohe just keeps it going. He says
he ran because of Charlotte vad didn'trun because they Charlottsville. He ran because
it was his last chance. He'snot equipped to be president. You know
it, and I know it isridiculous. We have a debate. We
tried to justify his presidency. Hispresidency. He's without question, the worst
(49:14):
president, the worst presidency in thehistory of our country. We shouldn't be
having a debate about it. There'snothing to debate. He made up the
Charlottesville story, and you'll see it'sdebunked all over the place. Every anchor
has, every reasonable actor has debunkedit, and just the other day it
came out where it was fully debunked. It's a nonsense story. He knows
(49:35):
that, and he didn't run becauseof Charlottesville. He used that as an
excuse to run President bud and debunkedit happened. All you have to do
is listen to what we said atthe time and the idea that somehow that's
the only reason I ran. Iran because I was worried a guy like
this guy he had elected if hethought they were good people coming out of
that all the forrest Carrie knows,Wi Carry knows tortures that he didn't deserve
(49:59):
to be pressed, didn't deserve tobe present at all, and the idea
that he's talking about all this beingfabricated. We saw their own eyes.
We saw what happen on January sixth. We saw the people breaking through the
windows, We saw people occupying thathis own vice president. Look, there's
a reason why forty of his fortyfour top cabinet officers refused to endorse him
(50:20):
this time. His vice president hasn'tendorsed him this time. So why why
they know him well, they servewith him. Why are they not endorsing
him. You're listening to Tim ConwayJunior on demand from KFI AM six forty
less than white families, Black mothersare still three times more likely to die
(50:40):
from pregnancy related causes, and blackAmericans are imprisoned at five times the rate
of white Americans. What do yousay to black voters who are disappointed that
you haven't made more progress their acknowledgethey made a lot of progress. Number
One, the facts of the matteris and more small black businesses than started
at any time in history. NumberTwo, the voyages of black unemployment is
(51:05):
the lowest level has been in along long time. Number Three, we
find them finding providing housing for BlackAmericans and dealing with the segregation that exists
among these corporate these corporate operations thatcollude to keep people out of their houses.
And in addition to that, wefind that the impact of on the
(51:30):
choice that black families have to makerelative to childcare is incredibly difficult. When
we did the first major piece oflegislation in the past, I was able
to reduce black childcare costs, cutthem in half in half. We've got
to make sure we provide for childcarecosts. We've got to make sure because
(51:50):
when you provide those childcare protections, you increase economic growth because more people can
be in the job market. Sothere is more to be done, and
considerably more to be done. Butwe've done a great deal so far.
And I'm not letting up and theyknow it. You have forty nine seconds
left. What do you say toblack voters who are disappointed with the progress
(52:12):
so far? I said, Idon't blame them for being disappointed. Inflation
is still hurting them badly. Forexample, I provided for the idea that
any black family first time home buy, she got a ten thousand dollars tax
credit to be able to buy theirfirst home so they can get started.
I made sure that we're in asituation where all those black families and those
black individuals who provided had to takeour student loans that were polooning that if
(52:37):
they've gaged in nursing, doctor, anything, happy to do with volunteerism,
if they paid their bills for tenyears and their student that all the rest
of us are given after ten years. Millions have benefited from that, and
we're going to do a whole lotmore for black families. Thank you,
President Trump. And he calls theinflation, he's blaming it inflation, and
(53:00):
he's right, it's been very bad. He caused the inflation, and it's
killing Black families and Hispanic families andjust about everybody. It's killing people.
They can't buy groceries anymore. Theycan't. You look at the cost of
food where it's doubled and tripled andquadrupled. They can't live. They're not
living anymore. He caused this inflation. I gave him a country with no
(53:22):
essentially no inflation. It was perfect, It was so good. All he
had to do is leave it alone. He destroyed it with his Green New
scam and all of the other allthis money that's being thrown out the window.
He caused inflation. As sure asyou're sitting there. The fact is
that his big kill on the blackpeople is the millions of people that he's
(53:44):
allowed to come in through the border. They're taking black jobs now, and
it could be eighteen it could benineteen and even twenty million people. They're
taking black jobs, and they're takingHispanic jobs. And you haven't seen it
yet, but you're going to seesomething that's going to be the worst in
our history. Thank you, PresidentBiden. There was no inflation when I
became president. Why the economy isflat on its back, fifty percent unemployment.
(54:09):
He decimated the economy, absolutely decimatedthe economy. That's why there was
no inflation at the time. Therewere no jobs We provided thousands of millions
of jobs for individuals who were inball communities, including minority communities. We
made sure that they have health insurance. We have covered if the ACA has
an increased. I made sure thatthere are eight thousand dollars per person in
(54:31):
the family to get written off forhealthcare. But this guy wants to eliminate
that. They try fifty times. He wants to get rid of the ACA
again, and they're going to tryagain if they win. You find ourselves
in a position where the idea thatwe're not doing anything. I've put more.
We put more police on the streetthan any administration has. He wants
(54:51):
to cut the cops. We're providingfor equity, equity and making sure people
have a shot to make it.There's a lot going on and inflation.
He caused it by his tremendous mouthseasance in the way handle the pandemic.
Thank you. Another persistent challenge isthe climate crisis. Two Los Angeles,
(55:14):
Orange County the country are confronting thedevastating effects of extreme heat, intensifying wildfires,
stronger hurricanes, and rising sea levels. Former President Trump, you've vowed
to end your opponent's climate initiatives, but will you take any action as president
to slow the climate crisis. Letme just go back to what he said
(55:36):
about the police, how close thepolice are to him. Almost every police
group in the nation from every stateis supporting Donald J. Trump, almost
every police group. And what he'sdone to the black population is horrible,
including the fact that for ten yearshe called them super predators. We can't
in the nineteen nineties, we can'tforget that super predators was his name,
(55:59):
and he called it to him andthey've taken great offense at it, and
now they see it happening. Butwhen they see what I did for criminal
justice reform and for the historically blackcolleges and universities where I funded them and
got them all funded, and theopportunity zones with Tim as you know,
Tim Scott was incredibly did a greatjob, great senator from South Carolina.
(56:21):
He came to me with the ideaand it was a great idea. It's
one of the most successful economic developmentacts ever in the country, opportunity zones,
and the biggest beneficiary are Blacks. And that's why we have the best
numbers with them in maybe ever they'resaying, ever, I read this morning,
wherever the best numbers, he's lostmuch of the black population because he's
(56:43):
done a horrible job for black people. He's also done a horrible job for
Hispanics. But why do you seethese millions of people pouring into our country
and they're going to take the jobsand it's already started and you haven't seen
anything yet. It's a disaster.Yep, thirty eight seconds left, President
Trump, will you take any actionas president to slow the climate crisis?
(57:05):
So I want absolutely immaculate clean water, and I want absolutely clean air.
And we had it. We hadH two zero. We had the best
numbers ever, and we did Wewere using all forms of energy, all
forms everything. And yet during myfour years, I had the best environmental
numbers ever. And my top environmentalpeople gave me that statistic just before I
(57:30):
walked on the stage. Actually,I don't know where the hell he's been.
The idea the day that he saidis true. I've passed their most
extensive, most extensive climate change legislationand history in history, we find ourselves
and by the way, black colleges, I've came up with fifteen billion dollars
(57:51):
for HBCUs Historic Black universities and collegesbecause they don't have of they don't have
the kind of contributors that they hadto build these laboratories in the life.
Any black student is capable in collegeof doing any white student can do.
They just have the money. Butnow they'll be able to get those jobs
in high tech. We're in asituation where the idea that he is conclaiming
(58:14):
to have done something that had thecleanest water, the cleanest water, he
had done a damn thing in theenvironment. He put out of the Paris
piece climate a court. I immediatelyjoined it because if we re aged one
point five degrees celsius at any onepoint where there's no way back. The
only existential threat to humanity is climatechange. And he didn't do a damn
(58:35):
thing about it. He wants notundo all that I've done. The Paris
Accord was going to cost us atrillion dollars and China nothing, and Russia
nothing, and India nothing. Itwas a ripoff of the United States,
and I ended it because I didn'twant to waste that money because they treated
us horribly. We were the onlyones who was costing us money. Nobody
else was paying it to it andit was a disaster. But everything that
(59:00):
he said just now, I'll giveyou an example. I heard him say
before insolent, I'm the one thatgot the insulin down for the seniors.
I took care of the seniors. What he's doing is destroying all of our
medical programs because the migrants coming inthey want everybody. And look, I
have the biggest heart in the stage. I guarantee you that, and I
want to take care of people. But we're destroying our country. They're taking
(59:21):
over our schools, our hospitals, and they're going to be taking over social
Security. He is destroying social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. The idea
is that we, in fact,we were the only ones of consequence.
We're not We're not members of theParis A Corps. How can we do
(59:43):
anything? We're not able to theUnited States can't get this under control.
One of the largest polluters in theworld, number one, We're making significant
progress. By twenty thirty five,we will have cut pollution and a half
we have made We have made significantprogress, and we're continuing to make progress.
We set up a Climate Corp forthousands of young people will learn how
to deal with just like the PeaceCorps, and we're moving in directions that
(01:00:07):
are going to significantly change the elementsof the cause of pollution. But the
idea that he claims that he hasthe biggest heart up here and he's really
concerned about pollution and about climate,I've not seen any indication of that.
And by the way, with regardto prescription drugs, one company agreed that
(01:00:30):
they would reduce the price to thirtyfive dollars, which I was calling for
one voluntarily. I made sure everycompany in the world, every pharmaceutical company,
cannot have to pay you. Andby the way, so every day
millions of Americans struggled just to makeends meet. For many older Americans,
social Security provides a critical lifeline.President Biden. If nothing is done to
(01:00:52):
Social Security, seniors will see theirbenefits cut in just over ten years.
Will you name tonight one specific stepthat you're willing to take to keep Social
Security solvent. Yes, make thevery wealthy begin to pay their fair share.
Right now, everybody making under onhundred and seventy thousand dollars pay six
percent of their income of their paycheckevery single time they get a paycheck from
(01:01:15):
the time of the first one theyget when they're eighteen years old. The
idea that they're going to I'm notgoing to. I have been proposing that
everybody they pay them, the millionairespay one percent, one percent, so
no one after I would not raisethe cost of Social Security for anybody under
four hundred thousand dollars. After that, I began to make the wealthy begin
(01:01:36):
to pay their fair share by increasingfrom one percent beyond to be able to
guarantee the program for life. Soyou still have eighty two seconds left.
Are there any other measures that youthink that would be able to help keep
Social Security solvent? Or is justis that one enough? Well, that
one enough will keep it solvent. But the biggest thing I'll do if we
defeat this man, because he wantsto get rid of SOID security. He
(01:01:59):
thinks there's plenty of cutting so security. He's wanting to cut SOB security and
medicare both times. And that's whatAnd if you look at the program put
forward by the House Republican Caucus thathe I believe supports, is in fact
want to cut it as well. The idea that we don't need to protect
our seniors is ridiculous. We putand by the way, American public has
(01:02:22):
greater health care coverage today than everbefore. And on the ACAS, I
said, you're in a circumstance wherefour hundred thousand people, I mean for
forty million people would not have insurancebecause they have a pre existing condition.
Only allows them to have that insuranceis the fact that they in fact are
part of the ACA. And bythe way, the other thing is,
(01:02:44):
we're in a situation where I talkabout education for black communities. I've raised
the number, the amount of moneyfor pelgrants, another eight thousand dollars for
anybody making under seventy thousand dollars ayear going to be able to get fifteen
thousand dollars towards the tuition. Hejust don't know what he's talking about.
Thank you President, about President Trump. So I've dealt with politicians all my
(01:03:07):
life. I've been on this sideof the equation for the last eight years.
I've never seen anybody lie like thisguy. He lies. I've never
seen that he could look you inthe face about so many other things too.
And we mentioned the laptop, Wementioned Russia, Russia, Russia,
Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine. Ifeverything he does is a lie, it's
(01:03:27):
misinformation and disinformation. The losers andsuckers story that he made up as a
total lie. On the military,it's a disgrace. But social Security,
he's destroying it because millions of peopleare pouring into our country and they're putting
them onto Social Security, they're puttingthem onto Medicare, Medicaid, They're putting
him in our hospitals. They're takingthe place of our citizens there. What
(01:03:50):
they're doing to the VA, toour veterans is unbelievable. Our veterans are
living in the street and these peopleare living in luxury hotels. He doesn't
know what he's doing, and it'sreally coming back. I've never seen such
anger in our country before, PresidentBiden. The idea veterans are not being
taken care of. If I toldyou before, and by the way,
(01:04:11):
when I said suckers and losers,he said, he acknowledged after that he
fired that general. That general gotfired because he's the one that acknowledged that
that's what he said. He wasthe one standing with Trump when he said
it number one. Number two,the idea that we're going to be in
a situation where all these millions andmillions the way he talks about illegal aliens
(01:04:31):
are coming into the country and takingaway our jobs. There's a reason why
we have the fastest growing economy inthe world, the reason why we had
the most successful economy in the world. We're doing better than any other nation
in the world. And by theway, those fifteen Nobel lawyers he talked
about being phony, those fifteen Nobellawyers, economists, they all said that
(01:04:51):
if Trump is re elected, we'reelected to have a recession and inflation is
going to increasingly go up. Andby the way, worst president history.
One hundred and fifty nine presidential scholarsvoted him the worst president in the history
of United States of America. PresidentBiden, thank you so much. Let's
turn to the cost of child's care, which many American families struggle to afford.
President Trump, both you and PresidentBiden have tried to address this issue,
(01:05:15):
but the average cost of childcare inthis country has risen to more than
eleven thousand dollars a year per child. For many families, the cost of
childcare for two children is more thantheir rent. In your second term,
what would you do to make childcaremore affordable? Just to go back,
the general got fired because he wasno good, and if he said that,
(01:05:36):
that's why he made it up.But we have nineteen people that said
I didn't say it, and they'revery highly respected, much more so than
him. The other thing is hedoesn't fire people. He never fired people.
I've never seen him fire any ButI did fire a lot. I
fired Komi because he was no good. I fired a lot of the top
people at the FBI, drained theswamp. They were no good. Not
(01:05:56):
easier to fire people. You'd paya price for it, but they were
no good. Inherited these people.I didn't put him that he put call
me there. He was no good. I fired him. This guy hasn't
fired anybody. He never fires. He should have fired every military man that
was involved with that Afghan the Afghanistanhorror show, the most embarrassing moment in
the history of our country. Hedidn't fire. Did you fire anybody?
(01:06:19):
Did you fire anybody that's on theborder that's allowed us to have the worst
border in the history of the world. Did anybody get fired for allowing eighteen
million people, many from prisons, many from mental institutions. Did you fire
anybody that allowed our country to bedestroyed? Joe our country is being destroyed.
As you and I sit up hereand waste a lot of time on
(01:06:41):
this debate. This shouldn't be adebate. He is the worst president.
He just said about me because Isaid it. But look, he's the
worst president in the history of ourcountry. He's destroyed our country. Now
all of a sudden, he's tryingto get a little tough on the border
out came out with a nothing anothing deal, and it reduced it a
little bit bit like this much. It's insignificant. He wants open voters.
(01:07:03):
He wants our country to either bedestroyed or he wants to pick up those
people as voters. And I don'tthink we just can't let it happen.
If he wins this election, ourcountry doesn't have a chance, not even
a chance of coming out of thisrut. We probably won't have a country
left anymore. That's how bad itis. He is the worst in history
(01:07:25):
by far. Thank you, President. Try President Biden. We're the most
admired country in the world. Werethe United States of America. There's nothing
beyond our capacity. We are thefinest military and the history of the world,
the finest in the history of theworld. No one thinks we're weak.
No one wants to school around withus. Nobody Number one, Number
two. The idea that we're talkingabout worst presidents. I wasn't joking.
(01:07:49):
Look it up, go online onehundred and fifty nine or from fifty eight
on Home of the exact number presidentialhistorians. They've had meetings and they voted
who's the worst American history? Onebest to worst. They said he was
the worst in all of American history. That's a fact, that's not conjecture.
(01:08:09):
He can argue they're wrong, butthat's what they voted. The idea
that he is knowing doing anything todeal with childcare. If he did very
virtually nothing to childcare, we shouldsignificantly increase the childcare tax credit. We
should significantly increase the availability of womenand men of single parents to be able
to go back to work, andwe should encourage businesses to hold to have
(01:08:31):
Thank you, President Bib. PresidentTrump. The question was about what would
you do to make childcare more affordable? If you want to take you a
minute, just you understand, wehave polling, We have other things that
do. They rate him the worstbecause what he's done is so bad,
and they rape me y'all show you. I will show you. And they
raped me one of the best,Okay, And if I'm given another four
(01:08:51):
years, I will be the best. I think I'll be the best.
Nobody's ever created an economy like us, Nobody ever cut taxes like us.
He's the only one I know.He wants to raise your taxes by four
times. He wants to raise everybody'staxes by four times. He wants the
Trump tax cuts to expire, soeverybody, including the two of you,
(01:09:11):
are going to pay four to fivetimes. Nobody ever heard of this before.
All my life, I'd grow upand I see politicians talking about cutting
taxes. When we cut taxes,as I said, we did more business
Apple, at all these companies. They were bringing money back into our country.
The worst president in history by far, and everybody knows it, President
Biden. Look, fact of thematter is that he's dead wrong about He's
(01:09:34):
increased the tire He's increased he willincrease the taxes on middle class people.
I said, I never raised atax upon anybody. I'm making less than
four hundred thousand dollars. I didn'tput these tire if it's ten percent tires.
Everything coming into the country. Youknow what, the economists say,
that's going to cost the average Americantwo five hundred dollars a year more because
(01:09:56):
they're going to have to pay thedifference in food and all the things that
were important. Number Two, he'sin a situation where he talks about how
he is not raised. He somehowhelped the middle class. Middle class have
been devastated by you. Now youwant a new tax cut of five trillion
dollars over the next ten years, which is going to fundamentally bankrupt the country.
(01:10:19):
You have the largest deficit of anypresident of American history, number one.
Number Two, you have not,in fact made any contact, any
progress with China. We are thelowest trade deficit with China since twenty ten.
Thank you, President Bust Thank youPresident. But let's let's discuss an
epidemic impacting millions of Americans that bothof you have made a top priority in
(01:10:42):
your first term, the opioid crisis. And for both of you, the
number of overdose debts in this countryhas gone up under your term. It
went up under your term. Ithas gone up. Former President Trump,
despite the efforts that both of youhave made more than one hundred thousand Americans
are dying from overdoses every year, primarily from fent and all the other opioids.
What will you do to help Americansright now in the throes of addiction
(01:11:08):
who are struggling to get the treatmentthey need to finish up. We now
have the largest deficit in the historyof our country under this guy, we
have the largest deficit with China. He gets paid by China. He's a
Manchurian candidate. He gets money fromChina, so I think he's afraid to
deal with them or something. Butdo you notice he never took out my
(01:11:28):
tariffs because we bring in so muchmoney with the tariffs that I imposed to
in China, he never took themaway. He can't because it's too much
money. It's tremendous, and wesaved our steel industries and there was more
to come, but he hasn't donethat. But he hasn't cut the tariffs
because he can't because it's too muchmoney. But he's got the largest deficit
in the history of our country, and he's got the worst situation with China.
(01:11:51):
China is going to own us ifyou keep allowing them to do what
they're doing to us as a country. They are killing us as a country,
Joe, and you can't let thathappen. You're destroying our country.
So President Trump, you have sixtyseven seconds left. The question was what
are you going to do to helpAmericans in the throes of addiction right now
who are struggling to get the treatmentthey need. Jake. We were doing
(01:12:13):
very well at addiction until the COVIDcame along. We had the two and
a half, almost three years oflike nobody's ever had before any country in
every way, and then we hadto get tough. And it was the
drugs pouring across the border were itstarted to increase. We got great equipment,
We bought a certain dog that's themost incredible thing that you've ever seen,
the way they can spot it.We did a lot, and we
(01:12:36):
had we were getting very low numbers, very very low numbers. Then he
came along. The numbers. Haveyou seen the numbers Now? It's not
only the eighteen million people that Ibelieve is even low because they the gotaways.
They don't even talk about gotaways, but the numbers of the amount of
drugs and human trafficking in women comingacross our border. The worst thing I've
(01:12:59):
ever seen at numbers that nobody's everseen under him because the border is so
bad. But the number of drugscoming across our border now is the largest
we've ever had by far. PresidentTrump, thank you, President Biden.
Fennyl and the byproducts ventanyl went downfor a while, and I wanted to
make sure we use them a machinerythat can detect ventanyl. These big machines
(01:13:20):
that roll over everything that comes acrossthe border, and it costs a lot
of money. That was part ofthis deal we put together, this bipartisan
deal, more fentanyl machines, morebe able to detect drugs, more numbers
of agents, more numbers of allthe people at the border. And when
we had that deal done, hewent he called his Republican colleagues that don't
(01:13:44):
do it. It's going to hurtme politically. He never argued it's not
a good bill. It's a reallygood bill. We need those machines.
We need those machines, and we'recoming down very hard in every country in
Asia in terms of precursors from ventanyl, and Mexico was working with us to
make sure they don't have the technologyto be able to put it together.
That's what we have to do.We need those machines. Thank you,
(01:14:05):
President Biden a president trumpeting again. The question is about Americans and the throes
of addiction right now, struggling toget the treatment they need. Well,
this Becausis does pretended to it.He ended remain in Mexico, he ended
catch and release. I made itcatching release in Mexico, not catching release
here. We had so many thingsthat we had done hard negotiations with Mexico,
(01:14:28):
and I got it off for nothing. It's just like when he have
a hostage. We always pay sixbillion dollars for every time we say's a
hostage. Now we have a hostage. A Wall Street Journal reporter I think
a good guy, and he's overthere. Because Putin is laughing at this
guy, probably asking for billions ofdollars for the reporter. I will have
him out very quickly, as soonas I take office. Before I take
(01:14:51):
office, I said, by literally, as soon as I win the election,
I will have that reporter out.He should have had him out a
long time time ago. But Putin'sprobably asking for billions and billions of dollars
because this guy pays it. Everytime we had two cases, we paid
six billion dollars for five people.I got fifty eight people out and I
paid essentially nothing. Thank you,President Trump. Dana. Let's turn to
(01:15:15):
concerns that voters have about each ofyou. President Biden, you would be
eighty six at the end of yoursecond term. How do you address concerns
about your capability to handle the toughestjob in the world well into your eighties.
Well, first of all, Ispent half my career being criticized being
(01:15:35):
the youngest person in politics. Iwas the second youngest person ever elected the
United States Senate, and now I'mthe oldest. This guy's three years younger
and a lot less competent. Ithink to just look at the record,
look at what I've done. I'veturned around the horrible situation he left me.
As I said, fifteen million newjobs, eight hundred thousand manufacturing jobs,
(01:15:56):
more investment in America over billions oftime in private investment, in enterprises
that we are growing by the way. We brought awful lot of people the
whole idea of computer chips. Weset forty percent of the market. We
invented those chips, and we lostit because he was sending people to cheap
to find the cheapest jobs overseas andto bring home a product. So I
(01:16:20):
went and I went to South Korea. I convinced Samsung to invest billions of
dollars here in the United States. And guess what those fabs they call to
to build these chips. Those fabspay over one hundred thousand dollars. You
don't need a college degree for them. And there's billions about forty billion dollars
(01:16:41):
already being invested in being built rightnow in the United States, creating significant
jobs for Americans all over from allover the world. President Biden, you
have forty seconds left. Would youlike to add anything? Yeah, I
would the idea that somehow we arethis failing country. I never heard of
president talk like this before we werethe NBA the world. I named me
(01:17:02):
a single major country president who wouldn'ttrade places with the United States of America.
For all our problems and all ouropportunities. We're the most progressive country
in the world and getting things done. We're the strongest country in the world.
We're a country in the world whokeeps our word, and everybody trusts
us, all of our allies andthose who he coddles up to from Kim
(01:17:25):
Jong young. He says love lettersto and putin etc. They don't want
to screw around with us. Thankyou for President Trump. To follow up,
you would be eighty two at theend of your second term. What
do you say to voters who haveconcerns about your capabilities to serve well?
I took two tests, cognitive tests. I ased them, both of them.
As you know we've made it public. He took none. I'd like
(01:17:47):
to see him take one, justa really easy one, like go through
the first five questions. He couldn'tdo it. But I took two cognitive
tests. I took physical exams everyyear, and you know we knock on
wood where we may have wood thatI'm in very good health. I just
won two club championships, not evensenior, two regular club championships. To
do that, you have to bequite smart, and you have to be
(01:18:10):
able to hit the ball a longway. And I do it. He
doesn't do it. He can't hita ball fifty yards. He challenged me
to a golf match. He can'thit a ball fifty yards. I think
I'm in very good shape. Ifeel that I'm as in good as shape
as I was twenty five thirty years. Actually I'm probably a little bit lighter,
but I'm in as good as shapeas I was years ago. I
feel very good. I feel thesame. But I took I was willing
(01:18:32):
to take a cognitive test, andyou know what, if I didn't do
well, I aced him doctor RonnieJackson, who's a great guy when he
was White House doctor. And thenI took another one, a similar one,
and both one of them said they'venever seen anybody ace him. Thank
you, President Biden. You cansee he is six foot five and only
two hundred and twenty thirty pounds ortwenty thirty five pounds. Well you said
(01:18:56):
six four two hundred, Well anyway, that's you. Anyway, just take
a look at what he says heis, and take a look at what
he is. Look I'd be happyto have a driving contest with him,
Haarima. I got my handicap, which when I was vice president down to
a six. And but by theway I told you before, I'm happy
to play golf. If you carryyour own bag, I think you can
(01:19:17):
do it. That's the biggest he'sa six handicap. Of all, I
was an eight handicap, now eight. But I've seen this wing. I
know you wing. Let's President Trump. We're going let's not act like children.
You a specific concern that voters haveabout you. Will you pledge tonight
(01:19:41):
that, once all legal challenges havebeen exhausted, that you will accept the
results of this election, regardless ofwho wins, and you will say right
now that political violence in any formis unacceptable. Well, I shouldn't have
to say that, but of courseI believe that it's totally unacceptable. And
if you would see my statements thatI made on Twitter at the time,
(01:20:02):
and also my statement that I madein the Rose Guard, you would say
it's one of the strongest statements you'veever seen, in addition to the speech
I made in front of I believethe largest crowd I've ever spoken to,
And I will tell you nobody evertalks about that. They talk about a
relatively small number of people that wentto the Capitol and in many cases were
ushered in by the police. Andas Nancy Pelosi said, it was her
(01:20:24):
responsibility, not mine. She saidthat loud and clear. But the answer
is if the election is fair, free, and I want that more than
anybody. And I'll tell you somethingI wish he was a great president,
because I wouldn't be here right now. I'd be at one of my many
places, enjoying myself. I wouldn'tbe under indictment because I wouldn't have been
as political appointment, you know,an opponent, because he indicted me because
(01:20:48):
I was his opponent. I wishhe was a great president. I would
rather have that. I wouldn't behere. I don't mind being here,
but the only reason I'm here ishe's so bad as a president that make
America great again. We're going tomake America great again. We're a failing
nation right now. We're seriously failingnation. And we're a failing nation because
(01:21:09):
of him. His policies are sobad. His military policies are insane.
They're insane. These awards that willnever end with him. He will drive
us into World War three. Andwe're closer to World War three than anybody
can imagine. We are very veryclose to World War three, and he's
driving us there. And Kim Jongun and presidency of China, Kim Jong
(01:21:32):
oar of North Korea, all ofthese putin. They don't respect him,
they don't fear him. They havenothing going with this gentleman. And he's
going to drive us into World Warthree. You want to world War three?
Let him follow and win, andlet put and say do what you
want. NATO, just do whatyou want. There's a thing called Article
(01:21:54):
five. An attack on one isattack on all and required response. The
idea, the idea. I can'tthink of a single major leader in the
world who wouldn't trade places with thejob I've done, what they've done,
because we are a powerful nation. We have wonderful piece because of the people.
That means because of the American people. They're capable of anything, and
(01:22:14):
they step up when they're needed, and right now we're needed. We're needed
to protect the world because of ourown safety is a stake. And again,
you want to have a war, just let Putin go ahead and take
Kiev, make sure they move on. See what happens in Poland, Hungary
and other places along that border. Then you have a war. President Trump.
As they come back to you fora follow up, the question was,
(01:22:38):
will you accept the results of thiselection regardless of who wins. Just
to finish what he said, ifI might Russia, they took a lot
of land from Bush. They tooka lot of land from Obama, and
Biden. They took no land, nothing from Trump. Nothing. He knew
not to do it. You're notgoing to play games with me. He
(01:23:00):
knew that. I got along withhim very well, but he knew not
to play games. He took nothingfrom me. But now he's going to
take the whole thing from this manright here. That's a war that should
have never started. It would havenever started ever with me. And he's
going to take Ukraine. And youknow, you asked me a question before,
would you do this with He's gotus in such a bad position right
(01:23:23):
now with Ukraine and Russia because Ukraine'snot winning that war. He said,
I will never settle until such time. They're running out of people, they're
running out of soldiers. They've lostso many people. It's so sad.
They've lost so many people. Andthey've lost those gorgeous cities with the golden
domes that are a thousand years old. Oh, because of him and stupid
(01:23:43):
decisions, Russia would have never attacked. The question was, will you accept
the results of the election regardless ofwho wins, Yes or no? Please,
if it's a fair and legal andgood election, absolutely I would have
much rather accepted these But the fraudand everything else was ridiculous that if you
(01:24:04):
want, we'll have a news conferenceordered in a week, or we'll have
another one of these in a week. But I will absolutely there's nothing I'd
rather do. It would be mucheasier for me to do that. Then
I'm running again. I wasn't reallygoing to run until I saw the horrible
job he did. He's destroying ourcountry. I would be very happy to
(01:24:26):
be someplace else, in a nicelocation, someplace and again, no indictments,
no political opponent stuff, because it'sthe only way he thinks he can
win. But unfortunately it's driven upby numbers and driven them up to a
very high level because the people understandit. Let's see as your numbers are
when the selection is over. Let'ssee you're a whiner. When you lost
