Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's KFI AM six forty and you're listening to the
Conway Show on demand on the iHeartRadio app. Dear man,
we're trying to figure out what to do next week
with our big anniversary.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Show and putting that whole thing together. So anniversary, Yeah,
who's anniversary.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
You'll see, You'll see. It's a big deal we're working
on for next week. All right, Frontier, Well, let's do
this story first. Ontario. I love the Inland Empire. If
I had to raise my daughter all over again, I
would go to the Inland Empire and do that where
the lows are big and the streets are wide. The

(00:42):
Inland Empire, I love it. My kind of people out there,
people at sort of old school, old school nineteen seventies,
kids riding bikes out on the streets at a young age,
not a care in the world.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Streets.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Restaurants like Cocoa's or Denny's litter the place, the hat
great restaurant to go in there and get a big
ass sandwich and a huge bag of fries. Yeah, love it.
Strawmi burger, that's right, and the biggest bag of fries.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
That's it.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
They that's called a small and there's nine thousand fries
in there. Mu. I enjoy that steak fries too, Yeah, yeah,
the thick steak fries. Yeah, the ones that stay warm longer.
Those thin fries are great, but they cool off in
eight seconds. So Ontario, you're going to get a construction
project right in your own backyard. On the fifteen freeway.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
We are talking about a stretch of the fifteen freeway
that passes through the ten through the sixty. If you
live out here in the Illin Empire like us, or
even if you just live in Sokel, you probably know
that area is very congested and these express lanes are
supposed to help alleviate some.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
Of that pain.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Okay, remember the fifteen freeway, That's what we're talking about here.

Speaker 5 (01:59):
Everybody coming into the fifteen and and plus they have
one or two lanes on the fifteen that they're working on,
and yes, can't move. I mean everybody's is suck a funnel.

Speaker 4 (02:09):
That's the frustration a lot of people feel driving through
what's described as one of the most congested bottlenecks in
the US, the I ten to fifteen interchange, and Lamarado
resident Robert Gonzalez, who was picking up his wife in
the area, says he tries to avoid it at all costs.

Speaker 5 (02:26):
Right now was when I went through it, it was
like twelve forty five, and it's already bad.

Speaker 6 (02:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (02:31):
And if you get a three or four or five
until probably after seven or eight, yeah, you can't. You
just can't get on the fifteen.

Speaker 4 (02:38):
And it might get a little slower before it gets better.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
No, No, I hate that comment. You can't. You just
can't get on. The face comment right here is the worst.

Speaker 4 (02:48):
And it might get a little slower before it gets better.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
It might get slower, the fifteen slower than it is now.

Speaker 4 (02:56):
That's because Cruz have begun construction to add express lanes
north to south along the I fifteen from Kanto Galliano
Ranch Road in Harupa Valley through Rancho Cucamonga just north
of Foothill.

Speaker 7 (03:07):
It is basically adding eight miles of its press lanes
in San Bernandino County Good and a small portion of
Riverside County to connect with Riverside Counties express lanes that
already exist, all.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
In part to relieve some of that congestion. The project
is expected to finish by twenty twenty eight and will
cost five hundred and thirty five million dollars.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
Well, that's not a bad price. Tag five hundred and
thirty eight was it five to thirty eight million?

Speaker 4 (03:32):
And will cost five hundred and thirty five.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Million five hundred and thirty five million dollars? I was
three million over. That's not bad. Not a bad price
you would expect in California. It'll be eight billion dollars.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
Some of which comes from Measure I, a half cent
sales tax that San Bernardino County voters approved to extend
through twenty forty.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Okay, this is why the people in the inland empire
out in Krozier's backyard are smart because we raised the
tax in Los Angeles County or homeless people. They raised
the taxes out in San Berndino riverside for freeway improvements.
Where would you rather your money go, homeless or freeway improvements?

(04:15):
Freeway improvements by a long shot.

Speaker 7 (04:17):
Everybody has a value of time, and if congestion is
going to result in more cost to you than what
the toll for a reliable tip time would offer, he
might make that choice.

Speaker 4 (04:28):
For some commuters like Tyson Giles, who drives from montegra What.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
A great name Tyson Giles.

Speaker 4 (04:34):
For some commuters like Tyson Giles.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Who Tyson Giles.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
That's like a sports name ten today, that's right, Yeah,
the fighting Irish any given Saturday, he could be Tyson Giles,
break it through for a TD.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
Little Tyson Giles.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
Hot yeah, bulls up, balls out football.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
Giles, Tyson Giles, wh drives from Ontario to Rancho Cuckamonga.
The busy interchange isn't much.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Wait, where is he driving from?

Speaker 4 (05:05):
Tyson Giles who drives from Ontario to Rancho Cuckamnga.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Ontario to Rancha Cuckapunga. That could be That could.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
Be eight c.

Speaker 4 (05:17):
To each other, from Ontario to Rancho Cuckamonga.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Unless he's going.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
The wrong way where it's twenty three thousand miles. Maybe
he's in Rancho Cucka manga or Ontario and he goes
east to try to get Rancho Cucka manga. They's gotta
go around the world.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
But you're talking about Ontario, Canada. You can you can be.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
You can have one foot in Rancho Cuckamonga and one
foot in Ontario.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
Can't you what a commute with this guy?

Speaker 1 (05:44):
This guy's commuting from all the way from in Sino
to Tarzana.

Speaker 4 (05:47):
From Ontario to Rancho Cucka manga.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
You know what that is. I guarantee you. I guarantee you. Krozer.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
That is a reporter who doesn't frequent the Inland Empire.
She's she mentioned somewhere the report, like if you don't,
if you drive out here like I do, or we
do it.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
So I'm like, oh, so you're a native out there.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
Oh well, okay, Well then somebody, you know, I couldn't
imagine coming to the news director and go, hey, I'm
doing a story about guys that are commuting from Sherman
Oaks to Encino. Yeah right, yeah right, yeah. We got
these two guys that live in Glendale but they're commuting
to Burbank. I'm gonna do a whole story on what

(06:29):
else you doing. Well, we got two guys that are
going from parking Lot F in Dodger State and parking
Lot D.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
Is that next door? Yeah? It is? It is?

Speaker 4 (06:40):
It is is from Ontario to Rancho Cuckamonga. The busy
interchange isn't much of a hassle.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
I see progress being done, so local plants there you go,
all right?

Speaker 1 (06:49):
I fifteen Well by Angel you're a traffic with you
get golden mics for it all the time. When are
they going to do this? Are they going to do
it during the day or are they going to do
it at night? Is it gonna be a karmageddon going on?

Speaker 4 (07:02):
They do it all the time.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
Thank you?

Speaker 1 (07:04):
All right, Conway Show, We're live on KFI more now
with pros got Oh.

Speaker 6 (07:10):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from KFI
AM six forty.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
This is The Conway Show.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
Everybody who is between the ages of I don't know,
seventeen and twenty seven, you're all on your way to Coachella,
So have a great time. You know, enjoy being young
as long as you can because it does eventually go away,
and you want to have as much funny as you

(07:38):
can when you are young. And Coachelle is a perfect
example of having a great ass time with one hundred
and ten thousand people. You'll remember that for the rest
of your life. So whatever it costs six seven to
eight hundred bucks to get in, it seems like a
lot of money for a lot of people. But I

(07:59):
think at the end of your life or you know, two,
three years, four years from now, the memories you'll have
of going to Coachella will far outweigh the eight hundred
dollars that are no longer in your bank account. I
think it's a great idea, So get on out there
and enjoy yourself. Dig dong with that Coachella.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
But let's go here.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
Earth scientists stumbled across evidence that Earth is peeling, peeling
underneath the Sierra Nevada.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
What's going on with this?

Speaker 8 (08:33):
There's new evidence deep beneath the surface that the Earth
is peeling. Researchers looked at earthquake records in southern California
and found seismic activity deep beneath the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
Some activity registered up to twenty five miles below the surface,
more than twice as deep as a typical earthquake. Scientists
say the data shows that the Earth's crust is peeling

(08:55):
away in the region. They say it could help us
better understand how continents formed.

Speaker 2 (08:59):
Okay, all right.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
I don't know about you, and I'm talking to the
listeners right now, not you, Bellio. But I think about
the big one, the bigger earthquake, all the time.

Speaker 6 (09:12):
Now.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
I used to never be like that. I used to
think about maybe once a week, two three times a month.
Now I think about it fifty times a day. I'm thinking, Oh,
what if it happens now I'm exhausted. What if I'm
tired and I and it happens and I just want
to go to sleep? What happens if it goes now
or here or there?

Speaker 2 (09:31):
Whatever?

Speaker 1 (09:32):
I think about it all the time, and it sucks.
It really is not the way to go through life.
It really is not. All right, let's talk about this dinner,
a diner right here in Santa Anna. Thirty year old employee,
five thirty year veteran.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
Wow, how about that? And I want to own it?

Speaker 9 (09:54):
I want to own it.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
Would you like anything else today?

Speaker 10 (09:56):
Benji's Diner in Santa Anna has been serving classic Jewish
New York Delhi comfort food to its loyal clientele since
nineteen sixty seven.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
It's just like, help you the same.

Speaker 9 (10:08):
I always considered this, How you doing sweet pea everything good?

Speaker 2 (10:12):
You know how?

Speaker 1 (10:13):
That's my kind of place, my kind of place. Will
they refer to you as sweet pee?

Speaker 4 (10:17):
Now you doing sweet pea everything good?

Speaker 7 (10:19):
To know how?

Speaker 10 (10:20):
It has helped run Benjie's for more than three decades.

Speaker 9 (10:23):
So February was thirty two years that I started here
back in ninety three, and this is my home.

Speaker 10 (10:31):
Chanel jokes that when she first was hired as a hostess,
she was the youngest employee at the restaurant.

Speaker 9 (10:37):
I was trying to figure out what I wanted to
do with my life after college.

Speaker 1 (10:40):
And she's been there thirty two years, hired as a
part time hostess, now celebrating her thirty second year, and
I just loved it.

Speaker 9 (10:46):
I realized I wasn't leading any time soon, and then
here we are thirty two years later.

Speaker 10 (10:51):
But the future of Benji's was up in the air
after owner Lloyd Weinstein decided it's time to retire.

Speaker 7 (10:57):
I was been solid to an outsaw, and there's a
lot of tension here about what's gonna happen.

Speaker 9 (11:05):
Mom and pop places don't last as long as we have.
You see all these big name restaurants.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
That's true.

Speaker 9 (11:11):
We've been here for fifty seven years now, and we're
not going anywhere. You know, I'm making sure of that.
We're not going to go anywhere.

Speaker 10 (11:18):
Chanel has stepped in to buy the diner and keep
it open.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
So I'm grateful to have somebody you want to come
in and.

Speaker 7 (11:28):
Edition going, this is.

Speaker 3 (11:30):
What I've always wanted.

Speaker 9 (11:31):
I mean, I've always told people I'm going to own it.

Speaker 4 (11:34):
Someday.

Speaker 9 (11:35):
Everything I've worked so hard for, of being here for
so long, it's finally coming to fruition.

Speaker 10 (11:39):
And whether you're an employee, a returning customer, or it's
your first time walking in through these doors, everyone is
excited about Benji's restaurant's future. Chanel hopes to officially become
the owner by November.

Speaker 4 (11:51):
Reporting in Santa.

Speaker 10 (11:52):
Anna, David Gonzalez, ABC seven.

Speaker 1 (11:54):
I wants news, all right, Benji's New York style deli
in Santa Ana, and now it's owned by one of
the employees. If you're wondering where this place is, where
is Benji's, Well, I'll tell you. I'll tell you it's
We'll give you freeways here, all right. It's off the
five Freeway, five Freeway and the fifty five. So if

(12:18):
you're on it's north of the five Freeway and west
of the fifty five Freeway, right off of Seventeenth Avenue
and seventeenth I'm sorry, seventeenth Street. Seventeenth Street is the
is the I think of the first or second exit.
I think it's the first I think second exit. If
you're on the fifty five North after you cross the

(12:39):
five freeway, you get off at the second exit there
and then there's you know, the Chick fil A.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
You got in and out.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
And Benji's is right across the street from in and out,
and so slide into Benji's and spend some cash. You know,
when somebody takes over a restaurant, it's good to pay
in cash the first couple months to get them up
on their feet. Benji's Restaurant in Santa Anna now owned

(13:07):
by an employee. It's right right there off of Tustin
Avenue and Old Tustin Avenue, right on the corner where
that comes to a point there, that's where Benji's is.
You've been the Crozier you get out, been benji Belly. Oh,
that's in your area. You've probably been to Benji's a
bunch of times.

Speaker 4 (13:24):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
No like Benji's much. Okay, we were doing a story.

Speaker 8 (13:30):
You asked me.

Speaker 2 (13:31):
I was listening to Angels traffic up days. Okay. Benji's
Restaurant in Santa Anna. You get out? Are you there? Ever?
I have been there several times.

Speaker 8 (13:45):
Absolutely love it really Yeah, you gotta go by okay, all.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
Right, Well there's the review.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
And how often do they cook fresh food out there?

Speaker 4 (13:54):
They do it all the time.

Speaker 6 (14:00):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from KFI
AM six forty.

Speaker 1 (14:07):
Hey, show a Otani is on paternity leave, all right?
His wife is having a baby. Is that his first?
Is this gonna be his first child? I should read
about that. Let's see here. This weekend is all about
show A Otani, the Dodgers slugger and rating National League MVP,

(14:29):
is being placed on paternity leave by Dave Roberts in
anticipation of the birth of his first child this weekend. Belly,
do we know if it's gonna be a boy or
a girl? Any clue?

Speaker 2 (14:44):
No, we have no idea.

Speaker 1 (14:46):
Okay, all right, where are they gonna have their first
meal as a family?

Speaker 2 (14:52):
Well, Benji the dolly benjis okay?

Speaker 6 (14:55):
All right?

Speaker 2 (14:56):
Please?

Speaker 1 (14:57):
So that's that's a big deal for Otana. He's having
his first baby. The Angels will be playing the Giants
this weekend. Lakers in the playoffs against the Timberwolves. They'll
be in town. I think Saturday is the first game
at five point thirty the Nuggets and the Clippers will
be playing in Denver, and the Dodgers will be in

(15:18):
Texas to play the Rangers. The big one is the
Los Angeles Kings. For me, they start their quest to
win their third Stanley Cup Monday Monday Night at Crypto
dot Com Arena Monday Night. And if I'm all they
have to do is beat Edmonton and they move on

(15:40):
in the playoffs. I know it's a big ask, it's
a big deal, but they've done it before and they
can do it again. They're twenty to one to win
the Stanley Cup. Twenty to one, so if you put
a thousand bucks on them, maybe, if you've got that
kind of dough and they win the Stanley Cup, well
you'll be happy they won the Stanley Cup because you

(16:01):
get a check or money cash in the amount of
twenty thousand dollars twenty to one. So maybe you know
somebody in Vegas they can lay some money down on,
you know, even five bucks, ten bucks. If you put
fifty dollars on the Kings win the Stanley Cup and
they do it, you win a thousand dollars off the
fifty bucks. So it's a big deal, big big deal.

(16:26):
Frontier Airlines is in the news. It usually is not
good when they're in the news. Let's find out what
happened with Frontier Airline.

Speaker 11 (16:33):
The terrifying moments before this Frontier Airlines jet finally touched
down in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Edwin Soto telling us
inside the dark cabin, they were praying, calling their families
to say goodball.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
Oh, I was landing too fast. Out of the sudden,
it just slams in the floor. Everybody starts screaming.

Speaker 11 (16:53):
The pilot attempting to land, striking the runway so hard
it damaged the plane, sending pieces of the landing are flying.

Speaker 12 (17:00):
They're checking for debris and speak, oh.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
My god, you imagine that you land so hard the
plane falls apart.

Speaker 11 (17:07):
They're checking for debris on the going around again. The
pilot trying to land on another runway, passengers gasping, some
applauding when they arrived on the ground, light attendants urging calm,
directing passengers.

Speaker 2 (17:26):
Down by the way.

Speaker 1 (17:27):
The pilots ate that when the passengers applaud when you land,
they find that to be tremendously insulting. The biggest insult ever.

Speaker 11 (17:42):
Light attendants urging calm, directing passengers down the stairs onto
the runway.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
Jeffrey said that filming.

Speaker 11 (17:48):
From the tarmac, I'm my day. I'm an out of
We made it. We made it, thank god. He said
that plane is still on the ground in San Juan,
closing the entire airport for a time last night. All
to hundred and thirty people on board are okay.

Speaker 1 (18:02):
Oh, that's great, all right, that is fantastic. Good for
them on Newport Beach. Very unusual to have a shooting
in Newport Beach. Remember there was one at the Mall
in Newport Beach four or five years ago where a
couple was shot. I think the woman was killed, and
everybody was like, wow, this never happens in Newport. Well,

(18:23):
we've had another shooting in Newport right down there in
Orange County.

Speaker 2 (18:27):
A huge response.

Speaker 13 (18:28):
By the Beach PD investigator saying it was around nine
to fifteen last night when an officer attempted a traffic
stop in the area of pch and Hogue Drive. They
say that for an unknown reason, that motorcyclist became uncooperative,
resulting in some type of altercation and that officer opening fire.

Speaker 1 (18:45):
It looks like he was driving like one hundred and
fifty thousand dollars. Harley Davidson too. So this is a
high end bike he was on.

Speaker 13 (18:52):
So we live in this area. Say they heard as
many as six gun shots and they immediately knew something
strange was going on.

Speaker 9 (18:59):
The helicopter coming in and I knew there was something
really big, and I think I heard like maybe about
twenty cops in ambulance.

Speaker 13 (19:05):
It was a huge response here, authority saying that the
man was shot and taken to a nearby a Hoague
hospital about a half mile away, where he later died.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
He was he's so occupant of that motorcycle. Wow.

Speaker 1 (19:16):
Man, things got really went south for this guy. I
wonder what happened down there this morning.

Speaker 13 (19:19):
It's still unclear why police initiated that traffic stop, were
led up to the shooting, or if that man was armed.
No officers, however, were injuring and during or injured rather
during this incident.

Speaker 1 (19:31):
Okay, then we all saw the chase that went through Anaheim.
And I've got to tell the audience this again, because
evidently that guy wasn't listening. And there are some people
who run away from the cops who don't listen to this.
But if you do run away from the police. This
is really important for you to understand this. Okay, very
important for you to get this. Anaheim is the worst

(19:54):
city in southern California to roll through with a high
speed chase.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
Step too quick.

Speaker 1 (20:01):
In Anaheim, they are going to have the support of
the community, the businesses, the residents, and they want that
crap to stop. They don't want it ever to come
through Anaheim. So if you're on the five Freeway and
you're running away from the cops and you see Disneyland
or what are some of the Brookhurst whatever these streets
are there that run through near Disneyland, Yeah, ball, yes, yes, yes, Euclid,

(20:27):
that's right bypass all of them. Because if you get
off in Anaheim, those cops are really aggressive. They perform
pit maneuvers at speeds that LAPD doesn't, Burbank doesn't, Glendale doesn't.
But they got the green light to shut that crap
down because they're protecting thousands and thousands of families who

(20:51):
have kids who've come to Orange County to go to
Disneyland and get the Disneyland experience, and they want to
protect those people that are coming in town. And so
if you fly through Anaheim at a high rate of
speed and you see the Anaheim cops behind you, it's over.

Speaker 2 (21:10):
It's over.

Speaker 1 (21:10):
You're not going to get away, and you're gonna get
worked radically. Sometimes, Like a couple nights ago, guy ran
away from the cops in Anaheim. They t boned him,
pit maneuver and shot him and he died.

Speaker 2 (21:30):
That's a wrap on that guy.

Speaker 1 (21:32):
And so again they have the support of all the hotels,
the restaurants, the amusement parks, and they don't tolerate that.
So I'm trying to save your life. If you're running
away from the cops, Anaheim is not your friend. Anaheim
is like a death wish. If you run through Anaheim

(21:53):
and a high speed chase, they don't put up with
that crap at all. They just don't, So don't do it.
There are plenty of other cities that you can roll
through and not get that kind of treatment Anaheim and
any one of them, you'll be very aware that you're
running away from the cops. If you're an anaheym extremely

(22:14):
aware that they're behind you and they're gonna do everything
they can to stop you, up to the point of
pitt maneuvering you and then shooting you to death. I
don't know what happened there at the end, but that
guy made a lot of bad moves and he made
him in the worst city.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
Anaheim. Don't do it.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
Don't do it, Anaheim, Cops, do not play.

Speaker 6 (22:37):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from KFI
Am sixty.

Speaker 1 (22:44):
Man, everyone's still talking about the Blue Origin and the
women go into space, and I guess Gail King stepped
in it by saying that they're trying to figure out
how to send all of our trash here on Earth
up into space to get rid of it so we
can have a cleaner planet. And a lot of comments like,
wait a minute, So we're gonna take all of our
trash and just litter the universe. Now, that's what we're doing. Man,

(23:08):
I can't believe how many people of Gail King's friends
and Katie Perry's friends, and people who are in the
same political party as Katie Perry. You know, she's a
big was a big supporter of Kamala Harris and Bill Clinton,
Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and people are getting down on

(23:31):
her in huge numbers for just going to space. But
I guess you know it's the the carbon footprint that
was created by taking a rocket that large and putting
into space for no apparent reason. No science was done,
so a lot of people are pissed. This portion of

(23:52):
the show's being brought to you by Advanced Hair one
day treatment, life changing results. Make your appointment today at
Advanced Hair dot com. We don't have time to play
this whole thing. But this is when Petros and Money
over there on AM five seventy LA Sports the Dodger station,
they started their show and talked about Benenda's brothers going
after me. And then I got here a little before

(24:14):
four o'clock and they they asked if I'd come on
their show yesterday and we can play a little of it.
This was yesterday on the Petros and Money Show. I
trusted some money in five seventy l A Sports Live
Everywhere on the iHeartRadio at ding Doll.

Speaker 2 (24:27):
Turn this microphone on ding Dogg. There he is. You go, yeah,
all right.

Speaker 11 (24:33):
So.

Speaker 12 (24:34):
Proper. Not everybody here listens to talk radio.

Speaker 2 (24:38):
Get that I get joining us right now is a
man in peril.

Speaker 12 (24:43):
One of the great one of the great talk show
hosts in the history of the world. But sometimes that's true.
You can't shut your eyes and burn the past. The
past comes back to haunt you. We all know these
things in different forms. They've happened over the years. Joining
us right now, the prey. We're listening to a song.

(25:04):
Wolves and leopards are trying to kill the sheep and
the shepherd. That's right, shepherding the listeners on KFI for
so many years, the greatest talk show of all time,
Junior Caffie, very.

Speaker 2 (25:15):
Sweet dog, everybody, this is almost over.

Speaker 12 (25:17):
You know.

Speaker 1 (25:18):
Steckler and I we used to work for KLA Sex
and we beat these guys up every day daily, brothers
every day. Did it to the point where the attorneys
for them and his brothers would say, you can't get
a fair trial in a city like this because of
Conway and stuff. Gargo one, Leslie Abrams look at that, yeah,
both of them.

Speaker 12 (25:37):
So how much bad blood still exists here?

Speaker 2 (25:39):
Well? All of it.

Speaker 1 (25:40):
I'm not going to say which lawyer was out at
Santa Anita a couple weeks ago.

Speaker 2 (25:44):
You could probably put two and two ta getting you out.
What did he say?

Speaker 1 (25:47):
I said, if these guys get out of jail, what
are they going to do? You know, who's going to
hire them? He said, well, I don't know. I mean
you maybe it'll do a podcast or write books. I'm like, okay,
I got a perfect job for him. You know, Santannita.
When a horse breaks down, they put a tent around
on the horse and then they put a bullet in
his head. And I think the Menanda's brothers be perfect
for that. And he said f you, and he walked away. Yeah,

(26:10):
it's right.

Speaker 2 (26:10):
Not backing down.

Speaker 12 (26:11):
There's still a lot of bad blood here, Conway. But
do we worry about like you worry about your safety?
I mean you are a pretty I mean you're a
very known man. You could be walking in like a
parade like locking Yata or something and one of these
Menandez brothers decides to take a box cutter to you,
you know.

Speaker 2 (26:26):
I mean that's right.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
Yeah, that's why I'm i now when I do the
San Juan Compastrana parade, I got a brinkstruck that I
travel there you go, just waving out of the brains
truck microphone.

Speaker 2 (26:39):
That's a true story, all right. Moe Kelly is with us.
Nice to see him. Bove how you been. I'm doing
well better than you evidently. I know.

Speaker 1 (26:46):
Well, you remember the Menanda's brothers. You know, nobody beat
them up more than John and Ken. They used to
do fry them and end.

Speaker 2 (26:54):
But why are you calling attention to yourself right now?

Speaker 1 (26:57):
Well, because I don't want to get shot by these
two right right? And no, I'm the world. No in
the event that you sho if I get killed, go
after these two idiots. Okay, Yeah, but I still can't
believe how many people are fighting to get these two us.

Speaker 14 (27:12):
I was talking about that the other I heard you're
talking about it. Yeah, I don't understand it because I
remember the trial. I remember the specifics. Nothing's changed, right.

Speaker 2 (27:20):
It is wild, It is crazy. What's on the Big
Show night?

Speaker 14 (27:23):
It's Friday nights, so that means it would have nothing
but fun, nothing but fun top to bottom. We're going
to talk about what's going on in Disneyland in advance
of its seventieth anniversary. We're going to talk about what
you expect when you go to a concert like Coachella, okay,
and what actually you might get regardless of how it's advertised.

Speaker 1 (27:41):
You know, Disney's very smart that they talk about their
seventieth anniversary. Can you remember what happened here on our
one hundredth anniversary last year. Remember we were told not
to mention it.

Speaker 2 (27:50):
We were, we were.

Speaker 14 (27:52):
It was It's strange because our former boss didn't like
us to do like.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
Celebrations and anniversary right like in.

Speaker 1 (28:01):
House, Yah, yeah, right, yeah, But this station celebrated their
one hundredth year anniversary last year and we were told.

Speaker 2 (28:09):
And nobody knew about it. I mean we do about it,
that's right. Any theme tonight for the movie.

Speaker 1 (28:14):
No, no theme tonight, any prizes. We're still working on it. Okay.
And those guys doing your YouTube it have done an
unbelievable job.

Speaker 14 (28:21):
Daniel Ferguson, he is he is a genius, for lack
of a better word, he's This is something that he's
done for the fullness of his career, for a number
of radio personalities and and other entertainment figures.

Speaker 1 (28:33):
But the quality of the audio and video that you
guys put out there is by far superior to any
other show. Well, I'm spending more money than a lot
of people. Okay, Okay, No, he's on the goodness of
his heart. Yeah, and his name again, Daniel Ferguson. Daniel Ferguson, Yeah,
you gotta hire that guy if you want anything done
on YouTube. Buddy, nice to see it. Happy Easter to
you and your family. We'll see you Monday. Yes, sir, right,

(28:54):
