Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's in the news today, but it was actually on
TV Reload, the podcast Last Beat the Right.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
Hey, guys, welcome back to TV Reload. Thank you for
clicking and downloading. On today's episode with Alana MacLean, who
has been our ride or diet all season long, serving
up hot takes and wild speculation on season fourteen of
the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. We have been teasing
the idea of bringing in our partners for a little
(00:24):
while now, and for this final reunion recap, one of
them actually agreed to sign on. Let's just say it's
one partner and one person's dog and a whole lot
of opinions. As we wrap up the season, we will
all dive into part three of the reunion, although full disclosure,
this wasn't exactly the grand finale we were hoping for.
(00:45):
We will explain what left us underwhelmed, what we wanted
to see, and even offer a few tips to Bravo
on how to freshen things up for next year. We
are going to break down the fallout from Derek baiting
Sutton with that here she comes moment I get Alana's
thoughts on Garcell's dramatic goodbye and speculate on what really
(01:06):
might have been left on the cutting room floor. We
will also touch on Kyle's emotional revelations, Kathy Hilton's surprise laughs,
and our thoughts on a potential Jennifer Tilly return with
a full diamond, plus Lee's a fan to pump Broomers,
Morgan Wade, theories, and more than a few side eyes
from the three of us. So grab a drink, get comfortable,
(01:26):
and join us as we say goodbye to the Real
Housewives of Beverly Hills Season fourteen. There is a lot
to cover, and there is plenty of tea to spill.
Oh my god, I forgot to warn Ben about the
fake Tan.
Speaker 3 (01:40):
Shut up. I told you three times, tell him about
the ten That's why I'm wearing this hat and glasses
to try to distract from the fact that I'm literally
looking ridiculous, Like, look at it.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
She looks like a Snapchat filter.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
A politically incorrect one.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
You know, I have to do some really quick housekeeping
because for people who are listening, we had been slowly
teasing the idea of having our partners join the podcast
for the last reunion, and whilst Robbie got out of
this because he has He's a very busy man. Banks
is filling in for him, which is great.
Speaker 3 (02:17):
Down there, he's already just like yeah, no, no, he's
just having a little snooze on the bed.
Speaker 2 (02:22):
And I've brought my partner Ben, who has been roped
into this. It's like Ernie and Burt, welcome to the podcast.
Speaker 3 (02:28):
Fist pump, who you will welcome into our madness, into
our ramblings.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
What is actually happening for your Easter break? Like, are
you a cabriy kaream egg?
Speaker 3 (02:38):
I do look like a cabriy krem Egg. Okay, great, No,
we're not going away or anything. We're just I've got
the races tomorrow and we're supposed to going to a
bar opening tonight and I forgot about it, so I
thought maybe if.
Speaker 4 (02:50):
I just try and do an express tan oh.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
But I just I feel like the start of all
our podcasts or either you've got the face masks last
week had the teeth lightening there, we've got the tan.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
Well. I think we really need to start off with
getting into this ridiculous third part of the reunion, because
I could not be more disappointed with part three. I
think you texted me to say that it was like
fill er.
Speaker 3 (03:11):
Yeah. I was like, here we go, this is the
filler because you really liked episode one, I liked episode two,
but episode three I thought, oh wow, they're really stretching
this out, which begs the question did we need a
three part reunion?
Speaker 2 (03:24):
What do you think? Do you think? Then I feel
like number one and number two. I'm here for her.
She was on me too. The life of the party.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
Dereite wasn't really in the third one, so everyone was borborn.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
You know. What's really interesting though, was that we left
the last part with a cliffhanger, and we were like
you and I were frothing. We were like, here she comes, Oh,
here she comes. And then she didn't come at all, Like, no.
Speaker 4 (03:47):
No one came.
Speaker 3 (03:50):
At all, no one. It was a rollover and we're
done with that. Margon Slate. That just set the tone
for where the episode went after that, and it was
just Dollsville, except for which I'm sure will dissect into
a million pieces. Was really about watching Garcel in this
interview and every bit of body language, her eyes, her
(04:12):
holding back tears, and just watching it over the course
of that episode and watching her just walk off at
the end the build up to that moment.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
It actually reminded me a lot of Ben, my partner,
when valliums are slowly cooking in Like if he's really
stressed at night time and he needs a valium to
calm down, and he slowly like one eye closes, the
next eye closes, and then I basically have to carry
him away.
Speaker 4 (04:35):
Yeah, like a three two one.
Speaker 5 (04:39):
Well, guess what we're gonna get a cast photo.
Speaker 6 (04:43):
I'm not I'm real what more, I'm not doing it.
Speaker 3 (04:50):
That's not cool. Okay, you know I don't.
Speaker 6 (04:53):
Want to be I don't want to be in the Castwoader.
Speaker 3 (04:56):
Do you think from a production point of view or
from any of your sources, is there something more to
this Gusell exit that we have not been shown on
this reunion because something about it didn't quite track. I
get the fact that she's left, but it was almost
like such an overreaction to the parts that we were
seeing from her where she was saying, no one smiled
(05:16):
at me, and then she just left, Like is there
something we're not seeing?
Speaker 2 (05:20):
She obviously had that conversation offline because were you watching
it knowing that she was going to leave? No, not
at all, but she looked bored out of her brain.
She knew she was going, and it was almost like
she forgot that that's what she'd agreed to do, because
she took that watermelon drink really quickly, and she looked
fine with the watermelon drink. She was actually smiling, and
then all of a sudden, she just all of a
sudden thought to herself, no, it's not it, and then
(05:42):
she decided to walk off, never to turn around and
look at the cameras. But it seemed so disconnected and
so disjointed. And also, I'm coming with all of the
people online who commented on where the fuck was Sutton
chasing after her friend. Last year, Sutton had a mini
stroke and Garsell the reunion with her to go in
the ambulance, And this time around, Garsa's like nap, notty.
(06:04):
It puts her watermelon cocktail down and disappears and Ston
still fucking standing there.
Speaker 3 (06:09):
But that just says it all, because that was just
playing out in real time. Was Sutton going, Yes, I
can have this moment with the rest of the group
if it ever came down to who she would choose, Garcel,
Kyle and Kathy and the rest of the group she
would pick them hands down every day, which she did.
But I feel like Garcel started that reunion not thinking
she was going to lead. We spoke about that. She
(06:31):
was like, I want to have the cast photo. I
hope we can talk through the issues. Somewhere in that
lunch break where Sutton hadn't stood up for her about
the dereet with the robbery and all the comments around that,
and then they went into that green room and then
Sutton again turned it and made it about herself and
she was like things are going to get really bad
for me, blah blah blah. Somewhere in there, Garcells thought,
(06:53):
fuck this. And then the rest of this episode was
just watching it unfold and she was she just simmering
and seething. I get that she was pissed off. She
was pissed off at Suton, and I feel like she
was almost a pissed off at Andy that there wasn't
enough about her and the reunion or something. There was
something else weird there, and I can't put my finger
(07:15):
on it. She just seemed so disproportionately pissed off.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
I would just say for Garcel this season to have
had her first season where she joined conversation, she joined arguments,
she participated more than she'd ever done before, we learned
more about her. For her to come to the reunion
at the end and behave like that seemed really bizarre
to me. I mean, I don't know, Ben, I'm gonna
have to ask you this question. You would know from
watching this show with me, because I actually make a
(07:41):
lot of noise while watching the show. It's like football.
I've never really liked Garsel in previous season, so there
was surprising that I kept saying to Ben throughout the show.
I'm enjoying Garsel this season. Did you enjoy her this season? No,
I've never really enjoyed Garsel.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
She's not the first housewife to walk off, though Camille
Grammer walked off and it was epic. She also almost
got nude. Remember she was kind of storming off taking
off her dress, her boob popped out. I feel like
Garsel couldn't even really pull that off. I think she's
just boring. I don't enjoy watching her at all.
Speaker 3 (08:11):
I know that they've walked off before, but they've never
just walked off and quit and just never to return,
like she got out of that outfit and got in
that car so quick. I just feel like, yes, she
realized she didn't have any true friends, that was the
main kicker. But I just kind of something is not
tracking one hundred percent for me. I feel like there's
(08:31):
something that's been cut out that they don't want us
to see, or something else there that has made the
whole thing escalate to that level.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
Do you remember when you were like kids and you'd
play hide and seek and the person that you're looking
for has given up and has gone and done something
else you're looking for them, You're like.
Speaker 7 (08:51):
She's gone, We're supposed to have supper.
Speaker 2 (08:58):
You can't come to a reunion and be disappointed that
not everyone's smiling at you. It's not fucking Christmas. They're
literally coming in there because they know they're going to
be taken to task. So I highly doubt anyone was smiling.
Speaker 3 (09:11):
That's why I just can't shake it that there must
be something else there. But I think, I mean, if
you watch the episode sort of back, and I know
that they sort of cut and move them all around,
it's not necessarily what we're watching is how it's played
out sequentially throughout the day. But when she didn't get
anyone sort of backing her up about how they felt
(09:32):
about Durete's robbery. I think there was something in there.
I think she said something about when she spoke to
Reba Sutton's mother and she was like, well, I wanted
you to have answers, and then Sutton just didn't sort
of say, oh my god, thank you so much. You're
a great friend for doing that. She just kind of
carried on the conversation. She was taking all of that
to heart so much. And you're watching her, if you
(09:54):
watch those those close ups. I've just been watching it
a second time. You can tell she's kind of fighting
back tears. But it's like when you just start spiraling
in your own.
Speaker 5 (10:03):
Mind, Garsalam, I wanted to ask you you were steaming
over there. I don't know if you wanted to tell
me what pissed you off so much all of it.
Speaker 3 (10:13):
Honestly, Andy's tried to ask her, you know, what are
you upset about. She's like, it's okay, it's okay, it's okay,
Like you can tell she's spiraling, and then it's just
like then it's over, it's gone. But when Sutton came
to her and she was like oh, we were supposed
to have supper. I just thought, Oh my god, that
just says it all. She's stayed in there for the
(10:33):
cast photo. She's stayed in there to suck up to
Kyle and Kathy. That friendship has always been out of
convenience and alliance from Sutton's perspective. And then she was
just almost a bit like, Oh, well, I've got five minutes,
so I'm ready to see you.
Speaker 4 (10:47):
Now, Oh she's not there.
Speaker 2 (10:48):
It looked like she came back the next day, like
Sutton came back the next day.
Speaker 3 (10:52):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, ages later.
Speaker 2 (10:54):
Like it was ages later, like she had been to
the club, she'd been to kick Ons. And then on
my home asked the cab to swing past Norman Bates's motel.
I was like, oh, Garcel, are you there?
Speaker 3 (11:06):
She checked out? Man, Yeah, she checked out. I don't know.
I mean, I'm with you. I enjoyed watching Garcel this season.
We said, you know, I like the fact that she
was pushing Kyle about the Morgan Wade stuff. No one
else was doing that. I like the fact that she'd
sort of said some of the stuff that she did
in her confessionals. I had in mind where she was
going with it. I was sort of excited to see
(11:27):
her potentially turn on Sutton and where that was going
to go. But where it's gone is into the black suv,
never to be seen again.
Speaker 2 (11:34):
I think you're on the money with regards to editing.
Speaker 1 (11:36):
I feel like maybe they've kind of banked up all
of the stuff to Garcel towards the end, because remember
when Erica called her out and said, I just wish
you're a bit more interesting.
Speaker 2 (11:45):
What more do you want? Now? What do you want?
Speaker 6 (11:47):
There's nothing that I'm not showing, honestly, do you know something?
Speaker 2 (11:51):
No, I wish you were more interesting. I guess oh down.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
Maybe it was kind of in that kind of line
of questioning where it's kind of all just piled up
on the end and they've edited to make sure it's not,
you know, a gang up on garsl party.
Speaker 3 (12:05):
I don't know that is where it started, though, was
that you're not interesting comment? I think that was the start,
and that went.
Speaker 2 (12:11):
From them if someone said to you you're not interesting? Ah,
to me, Ben, you know yourself. But she also said
to Andy, I don't feel like I'm going to answer
any more questions, and then he cuts to the thing
straight away afterwards and says, hey, how are you feeling?
And she did answer that I don't.
Speaker 6 (12:27):
Want to get into it, but I don't think I
ever get any grease in this group. Okay, I didn't
feel it. Today we talk about accountability. I stand by
the things that I say, and even though I'm taking
accountability for them, it's not accepted.
Speaker 2 (12:41):
It's not now.
Speaker 6 (12:43):
One person had looked at me here and smiled, and.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
Then she went on a rant about the smiling and
all the rest of it.
Speaker 4 (12:49):
I just was like, no, I agree. I mean, I
think I saw somewhere.
Speaker 3 (12:52):
They filmed it for nine hours, and what we got
three hours of the nine. I feel like it probably
could have been less. But she's as christ. Imagine the
shit that they've cut if that's what we've actually seen.
Speaker 2 (13:04):
I think Jennifer Tilly said that.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
She said, the amount of filming that they do to
condense it, you could make multiple households. I am here
for Jennifer Tilly. I think she is bonkers and I
love everything about her outfits, the way she talks. I
can't get enough of Jennifer Tilly. She needs to be
more than a friend of.
Speaker 3 (13:19):
I've changed a little bit because when she was coming
in to the start of this season, and I think
Benjamin you said this too. We were like, oh, we
were like, she's just we just didn't want to.
Speaker 2 (13:30):
I feel like, what the hell he's talking about.
Speaker 3 (13:32):
I'm like, what the fo No, But I feel like
she's done more towards the end in She's definitely out
Shawn Kathy Hilton in regards to that quirky, you know,
gregarious persona. I feel like she has out Sean Kathy.
I feel like they needed a Kathy back up, and
now the backup has just taken taken first place.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
Full disclosure, ben you do really love a weird, crazy
old baby on any show. I'm obsessed with the old bat.
I can't love it.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
I could not get enough of Kathy Hilton laughing when
Kyle was trying to talk about how serious it was being,
you know, not sure about if she was a lesbian
or not, and Kathy's sitting there absolutely chuckling, holding back
the tears, and Kyle had to interject to say, be quiet,
like I'm trying to be emotional and you're laughing at me.
Speaker 8 (14:17):
It was my sister Kathy trying not to laugh over here.
By the way, She's like.
Speaker 3 (14:25):
Let her get it out of her system. It's a lot, it's.
Speaker 2 (14:28):
A lot killed to swallow.
Speaker 8 (14:30):
Okay, well, so no, what I meant by that was,
you know, people started, oh my god, Okay, let's get
out of his syst I'm gonna get kicked off.
Speaker 2 (14:40):
Kathy's got no idea what's going on, but he is
like mad for these old ladies. Jessica Lang is his
favorite person in the entertainment world, like a lang. Ben
talks about her like she's the most beautiful, elegant, most
relevant person on the planet. And I'm like what. And
then the fact that he has just told me that
Jennifer till is his favorite at the moment, I mean,
(15:02):
maybe not your favorite, my favorite friend, doc.
Speaker 3 (15:04):
Do you think that's what will happen now? Do you
think she's done enough to step up to the plate.
Do you think she might get off of that permanent spot.
Speaker 1 (15:13):
I think that she's definitely earned her place. Whether she'd
be interested or not is another thing. I don't know
if she could commit. You know, she's got poker to
play over in Las Vegas every couple of weeks.
Speaker 2 (15:24):
The woman's chatz crackers. I'm out, like she needs to
be removed from this series. And if I had a
problem with the woman Camille Grammar, remember when Camille Grammer
was a friend of for like one hundred years or
like five seasons in a row, and she nothing, I'd
bring Camilk Grammer back as a friend of before renewing
the diamond with Yeah.
Speaker 3 (15:44):
I mean, look, I feel like they've got two ways
that they can go with this Jennifer Tilly thing. They
can go, look, Sutton's lost her Ally, we can bring
Jennifer in more to be that support person with Sutton,
or we can really see what it's like where Sutton
has no crutch, there no fallback, and see what she's
like on her own island and see who she tries
to cling to or how the girls turn on her.
(16:07):
But I don't know if they'll.
Speaker 8 (16:08):
Offer her that.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
I need to menage something that's really bothered me about
the third part. Remember how I kept saying, do you reckon?
The last episode's just going to be a sudden takedown
because something had behaved so badly, so I thought they
were saving it up. But instead when we got cross
to finally address Sudden in all of her glory, we
got all the stuff about Reba, and we got Bravo's
narrative of poor Sudden, no wonder she behaves so badly
(16:30):
because she was raised by baboons like No Mate the
ladies in her late fifties early sixties. She can't blame
her behavior on the last few seasons on her upbringing
of her parents. I don't think.
Speaker 7 (16:42):
So forgiving my dad is really good for me, yep.
I think forgiving my mom is going to be even
better for me and hopefully will soften me. Like with
all of you women, I would like to be better
and get better and you know, hopefully it can roll
into being a better friend.
Speaker 3 (17:06):
I thought that whole reader thing. I was like, this
has gone on a really long time. I understand putting
it into the show, and I felt like, we've already
got this. We've clocked this, we've watched this, we've had
that little aha moment where we've gone, oh, that is
a little bit why she is with her eccentricities, and
you know she's got some trauma there, but they all have.
(17:26):
I don't think that needed fifteen minutes at the reunion,
she just wasn't herself. I was with Dori where she
was like, well, where's where's the cheek we've had all season?
Because she ain't on the couch.
Speaker 9 (17:37):
You haven't said two words since you've been here. Sometimes
the person who was in the season who was so vicious,
you know what that really beatty stare that you want
to like, really go low.
Speaker 3 (17:47):
Where is she? She didn't come today, she didn't come today?
Speaker 4 (17:50):
Certain where is she?
Speaker 9 (17:51):
Because this person is not genuine, that's not who shows
up and that's definitely not who is here all season long.
Speaker 1 (18:00):
You know.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
Also the receipt that I thought dur managed to lose
in her purse, along with possibly the purse itself because
she's had to cash it into cash converters. Is the
rest need about Lisa Rinner being bought by Sudden So
Sudden everyone knows tried to get onto the Real Housewives
for years, and she'd been befriending them, trying to get
them to do things, and she got Lisa Rinner those
(18:22):
tickets to go and sit on her table. I don't
know who's Elton John's Elton John's Galla event. So she
kept saying, you know, you buy people, and everyone was like, oh,
maybe you don't buy people. Oh, And she could have
just come out and said, we have proof on the show.
Sudden you bought your way onto this show. You'd been
trying to do it for years by paying money for
women to come and join your charity events, and now
(18:43):
you are on the show because you brought yourself here.
Why didn't I rebring that up? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (18:47):
Good point, good point. She needed you to give her
the media briefing.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
Lisa Rinner also got mentioned a few times throughout this episode,
which I thought was great. I feel like they are
days away from telling us Lisa Rinna is coming back
annuinely believe that really nah?
Speaker 3 (19:03):
Although I did have that thought about Lisa vander Pump
when Kyle started telling that story about oh I almost
bought a house officer at Lisa.
Speaker 4 (19:10):
Vander Pump, I thought, what in the fucking world?
Speaker 3 (19:14):
Guys are like arch enemies and now you are genuinely
considering a house across the road. And then even Kathy
was like, why would you bring that up? So I
was like, why would she bring that up? I did recently.
Speaker 8 (19:26):
I actually was about to buy a house. It's, funnily enough,
across the street from the Savanda Pump Cross.
Speaker 2 (19:33):
Please do.
Speaker 8 (19:37):
Literally the bedroom looked at.
Speaker 3 (19:39):
Her driveway.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
For the show.
Speaker 8 (19:46):
I went back three times with the contractor everything.
Speaker 3 (19:51):
And Lisa vander Pump is doing so much press. She
is jumping on every podcast she can. She's literally everywhere
talking about the show, about the Kyle fight, like everything.
Speaker 4 (20:03):
Maybe there's something brewing there.
Speaker 2 (20:05):
You're you're hanging us like you are a Lisa vander
Pump og Stan you like her on this show? She's
an old lady.
Speaker 4 (20:11):
Of course I do oh with new caps.
Speaker 1 (20:13):
But did you see Andy Froth when Kyle mentioned that
she was going to buy the house opposite Lisa vander Pump.
That's a whole new show in itself. Can you imagine,
isn't it?
Speaker 2 (20:23):
Bravo need to bankroll the shit out of those two
living across from each other. I'm just here for the
petty sinanigans that would go on. Imagine vander Pump would
be out the back picking up all that donkey poo
and throwing it over to Kyle's fence. It would be hilarious.
She'd be flipping that next door. No worries they could
turn it into what's that serial watched feud? This is
(20:43):
another old lady show. So Ben's relevance to the podcast
is just bringing up old ladies on brand. That's the
show Lady. It was Jessica Lang, Susan Sarandon, and they
were playing these iconic old Hollywood actresses that had a feud.
And I would say the gays around the world alone
would cash in on watching that series Brought to Live.
Speaker 3 (21:05):
Can we also get into the Kyle Mauricio, Kyle Morgan
Menajatoire mess of it all? Because I literally felt like
I was confused going into the season, and I feel
like I'm just as confused coming out of the season
about what this woman wants, Like.
Speaker 1 (21:25):
She doesn't want to talk about it because she doesn't
know what she wants, and if she says it publicly
and if it's aired, people will use that as ammo
to come back. I think secretly she wants more to
come back to her begging and screaming. That's what I
think that she wants. She she loves to be married.
They were the ogs, the couple everyone aspired to.
Speaker 2 (21:43):
Be like them, the Yumanski's.
Speaker 1 (21:45):
They've got their beautiful family, the house, they've got the
white picket fence, and now that's all come crashing down.
And I do feel for her because she's just sitting
around the house, drinking tea and staring out her windows
by herself. I think her best case scenario would be
for Mo to come back get it all out of
his system, which she alluded to. She mentioned married really young,
(22:05):
he needed to get that out of his system. So
maybe this is her allowing him to get all of
this out of his system, and once he's done fucking
everyone in.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
LA and everyone else in the world, he can come back. Okay, Well,
I need to ask you this question, man, Alana. Here's
no chance in how that you're going to let your
husband go and blow off some steam in the wherever
the hell that he's been traveling around for getting his
kid out looking up with these young people, would you
ever take them back? If Robbie came back after ten
years of having a sabbatical banging bitches in Honolulu or
(22:36):
wherever the hell they're going, you'd never speak to him
ever again.
Speaker 3 (22:39):
There's obviously something that's happened here. I mean, this is
the thing. She's like, I don't want to throw anyone
under the bus, So I don't want to talk about
the father of my kids and say, well, hang on,
we're already have seen this guy on our screens for
like fourteen years. It's more like we almost know everything,
we just can't quite put it all together. But she
says so much to glued to things, but then she
(23:01):
doesn't fully go there. It sounds like something happened online
or with someone's phone number, or some messages, or because
when she started talking about oh, I've seen all the messages,
I know the passwords.
Speaker 8 (23:15):
I would love to tell the Laura, but I don't
want to give anybody tips so that men stn't putting
their little things.
Speaker 4 (23:23):
This is something we told to women only, and.
Speaker 3 (23:27):
I do know every every.
Speaker 4 (23:30):
So something's obviously happened there.
Speaker 3 (23:32):
She's cottoned on. She's tried to call his bluff and
being like fuck you, I'm out. She's expected him to
fight for her, he didn't. In the meantime, she was like, well,
I'll go give you a taste of your own medicine,
flaunting around with Morgan. But then it's like Morgan's turned
around and gone, I atually don't want any part of this.
Speaker 2 (23:50):
How much we want I don't know.
Speaker 3 (23:52):
But it's like they're still everywhere together. But then she
doesn't want the fame, but they're still hanging out together.
All the time.
Speaker 4 (23:58):
I'm so confused, is she lesbian? Is she not?
Speaker 3 (24:01):
She's talking to Andy about the conversation she had with
her daughters, and then she was like, well, I wasn't
coming out, but I was talking to them about it.
Speaker 5 (24:09):
In the first episode, Kyle, you said that you had
never before questioned your sexuality.
Speaker 8 (24:15):
I was still figuring things out myself. I still am
what I said last time. Altogether, it was so much
for me to say. I couldn't believe I didn't say that.
I have never ever questioned my sexuality in my life ever.
Speaker 5 (24:28):
But when public speculation went into overdrive, you started to
question things and that you would even talk to your
daughters about it.
Speaker 2 (24:35):
Tell me about that.
Speaker 3 (24:37):
I'm like, I just I don't know. I'm very confused.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
Ben, what do you think You know? Alana and I
every episode of this podcast and also just for people listening,
you are a number one fan, so you have listened
to every episode ofco Well, thank you. He's prizes that
he gets to join the podcast today. But you need
to help us with this. Maybe you can draw the
line in this end, is Kyle Richard's and Morgan Wade lesbians?
(25:02):
Have they ever been? Are they going to be What
is your feeling on all of this. I think it's
a little bit of relevance for Kyle.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
I know that she doesn't want to talk about it,
but maybe she's not talking about it to keep everyone
interested and keep everyone guessing the fact that Morgan doesn't
want to appear on the show. But as Andy called out,
she's in the public eye. She's a singer. This is
great publicity for her. Why would she not want to
ride the coketails of this. I don't know what Kyle wants.
I think she's so confused.
Speaker 2 (25:28):
Is she a lesbian? I don't think she's a lesbian.
Has she ever gone MUTI she's definitely done the big
fingers it.
Speaker 3 (25:37):
Maybe that's what happened, Like maybe it was like, you know,
like she's gone off and had this sort of like
whirlwind romance and then they've gone, no, we're better as friends,
and maybe lesbians are better at being friends. Like maybe
they were sexual and then they were like no, but
it'd be a shame to throw it away.
Speaker 2 (25:56):
Maybe they got matching tattoo. Tattoos does not mean that
you've committed no, but you know, when it's.
Speaker 3 (26:01):
Like sign it's all hot and heavy, and if you
find a new friend and you're like, this's my friend
and we're going to hang out all the time, and
then it kind of sours.
Speaker 2 (26:10):
Maybe when you're seventeen or.
Speaker 4 (26:11):
Eight, something's not adding up with the scenario.
Speaker 2 (26:14):
But the thing, though, is maybe that's what happened to
the two women. And then they were like, you know,
Kyle turned up for one night of Juds size and
realized that was the wrong sport for her, and she
decided let's just be very close friends.
Speaker 1 (26:27):
She's allowed to do whatever she wants. Look, I'm all
for the openness. Whatever floats your boat. I think good
on your Kyle, whatever makes you happy, but don't leave
us waiting.
Speaker 2 (26:36):
What about Paris Hilton's response though, Paris and Nicky's response
of they didn't even blink an eyelid about you know,
their auntie being a lesbian because young people these days,
it doesn't matter what you are. Paris Hilton is married
to a gay guy. Come on, let's be.
Speaker 3 (26:50):
He's very effeminate. Part room is he definitely is? I mean?
Speaker 4 (26:55):
Look, and then Kyle said that thing.
Speaker 3 (26:57):
She goes, well, I you know, he's obviously moving on,
and she was like, I'm not going to be doing
hanging out and skiing with people on the slopes kind
of vibe.
Speaker 4 (27:05):
But I'll be doing something very soon.
Speaker 3 (27:08):
And then they were like, oh really, so maybe it
is what Heather McDonald said on Juicy Scoop. Maybe she
was like, they are together, but she's waiting for this
documentary that she's producing with Morgan, for all the tea
to be spilled over there or something, you know, that
could be a theory that checks.
Speaker 2 (27:26):
I think one of the other relevant points of this
reunion was that Erica Jane had been sitting there for
the first two parts, like I don't even need to
say anything because it's not the heat's not on me.
And then Andy Cohen's like, so Tom Girardi has gone
to jail. Now we can really ask you the question,
do you think he's guilty or do you think he's innocent?
Speaker 5 (27:46):
Now that Tim has officially been convicted, what do you
have to say?
Speaker 2 (27:49):
Do you now believe Tom is guilty? When he flicked
that question to her, she looked like someone who joined
the debate team at the last minute and had dropped
her cue cards.
Speaker 3 (27:59):
She was like, that was like the lowest of my problems.
Speaker 4 (28:03):
What difference does it make?
Speaker 2 (28:06):
What was your take on what she had to say
about whether or not mister Girardi is guilty of widows
and dwarfs whatever it is, what wid.
Speaker 3 (28:17):
An orphans don't bring the dwarfs into her little people.
They've done nothing wrong, A though homelessn't toothless and the ruthless.
I just feel like Erica has almost missed her calling
to be a lawyer herself. I just feel like every
answer she comes out with is just so eloquent, so articulate.
(28:39):
Facts are always behind it. It's almost like she's been prepped,
but we know she hasn't. I just think she's got
a very sharp mind.
Speaker 1 (28:46):
I think she must have spent a lot of time
with Tom. Obviously she met him when she was quite young,
but she's obviously listened to him and observed him and
watched him. Because I one hundred percent agree with you
the way that she articulates every single word and pronounces
everything to affection.
Speaker 2 (29:00):
People can't argue with it with a legal tone, you
know what I mean. But I believe a woman who
has been married to Tom Girardi and basically every night
him pleading his case to have sex with her would
feel like like you get the legal dragon out, you know,
and she'd be trying to weasel her way out of it.
And then now she talks like a lawyer all the time.
Speaker 7 (29:17):
You know.
Speaker 2 (29:18):
She's kind of a bit like what happened with Gina Liiano.
Gina Liiano when she was on Housewives of Melbourne, she
was constantly accused of talking to the other women with
a legal jargon. And it actually works on this format
really well, except when she's drunk. Lana, I need you
to do that?
Speaker 3 (29:33):
Or what what kills me?
Speaker 4 (29:35):
What the fuck do you think I'm doing?
Speaker 3 (29:39):
Honestly, if it was a board game and you could
just spin the wheel and then it'd be like, say
this line from this scene, or you had to do
that line but in someone else's accent, Oh my god,
it'd be such a great board game. Andy Cohen, if
you're listening.
Speaker 2 (29:53):
If this is a board game. For this episode of
the recap of Beverly Hill's Season fourteen Reunion, Part three,
buzz Round is Erica Girardi's son appearing on the show
for the first time. Hot or not not hot?
Speaker 3 (30:09):
You reckon? He's hot?
Speaker 2 (30:10):
Yes, he's definitely hot.
Speaker 1 (30:12):
Really, it's because he was in uniform though, like anyone's
hot in a uniform.
Speaker 3 (30:16):
Yeah, it does definitely take it up a not. I
thought he looked a bit like Nerdy, but I could
see a lot of.
Speaker 4 (30:21):
Her resemblance in him. You saw you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (30:25):
Seen Nerdy?
Speaker 8 (30:25):
I saw it.
Speaker 3 (30:26):
I thought he looked a little bit nerdy.
Speaker 2 (30:28):
What are you afraid of? Like?
Speaker 3 (30:29):
Hello, reporting for duty? Like that kind of doofy reportedly live? Yes,
I'm you're at a testify? Yeah, that kind of vibe.
Speaker 2 (30:40):
I was like, no, switching gears just for a second.
I will say that I had a bit of a
tear in my eye when it came to the acknowledgment
of Teddy Mellencamp, very similar to what you did last
week on the pod. You made a huge reference to
her health update.
Speaker 10 (30:54):
I want to take a moment to acknowledge our friend
and former housewife, Teddy Mellencamp, and obviously we've all been
concerned for her well being and we're inspired by the
outpouring of support that she's received.
Speaker 2 (31:06):
Kyle It, how are her spirits?
Speaker 3 (31:08):
She's a long road ahead of her.
Speaker 8 (31:10):
She's a very strong, tough girl, and she has a
tremendous amount of love and support around her.
Speaker 3 (31:16):
She's so loved now.
Speaker 8 (31:18):
The day we facetimed America, she had a smile and
she's like, Hi, it was nice to see her, and
you know, yeah, you're reaching out and Bo's that was
very sweet of you too. She said she do was
praying for Teddy and for me, and that she offered
to bring food to the hospital, send food to her family,
and you put her in your prayer group and Augusta
(31:38):
and I told.
Speaker 4 (31:39):
Her all of that.
Speaker 2 (31:41):
I did look over at Ben, and whilst Ben does
feel very bad for Teddy Mellencamp, I think it's important
to bring up on the podcast that Ben and I
have very different opinions on Teddy Mellencamp. She ranks in
my top two housewives of old time. Ben doesn't like
Teddy Mellencamp at all. No, she's pretty much below Atlanta
in my eyes. But I do wish it all the
best and I hope she's okay. Obviously, again, not time
(32:04):
to really bring up Ben's deep, dark secret hatred of
Teddy mind Camp.
Speaker 3 (32:08):
Honestly, I'm very worried for her, and I think she's
now very worried for herself. When Andy brought that up,
and Kyle was obviously, you know, answering the questions because
she spends all the time with her. They're very close friends.
Erica chimes in and then he goes on, Derete, have
you reached out?
Speaker 10 (32:28):
Have you all been in touch with her?
Speaker 6 (32:30):
Now?
Speaker 9 (32:30):
You know, I was, I think I did something on Instagram,
But when she's not in the thick of it, you know,
I feel like it's better time to check on her.
Speaker 2 (32:40):
Well.
Speaker 10 (32:41):
Our thoughts will continue to go out to Teddy and
we wish her all the best.
Speaker 3 (32:46):
And the glare from Kyle over to Derete like she
was pissed there is serious Beefer.
Speaker 4 (32:53):
And then I was trying to remember where they finished up.
Speaker 3 (32:56):
Those two was okay, I thought were friends?
Speaker 2 (33:01):
They were friends?
Speaker 3 (33:01):
They were all, yeah, they were, weren't they? And they
went on some trips and stuff together later. So is
it just the fact that Dreitt's just gone back into
deret Land and never thought.
Speaker 4 (33:10):
To check in.
Speaker 2 (33:11):
This leans back into what I've been saying the whole
season long. Dere doesn't actually treat these women from the
show as real friends. Who does maintain relationships with better,
you know, with better better friendship integrity I've seen that
happen with friends that they'll be like, why didn't you
invite me to that dinner party that was on Instagram
the other week, And it's like, well, I invited the
people that talk to me all the time, Like I
(33:33):
haven't heard from you for months, Like, yes, there was
a point of time where we were BFFs, but right
now I couldn't tell you what's going on in your life.
So why am I treating you with best friend status
if you're not even bothering to e about me how
I am. That's how you summarize the deread of the world.
You know, No, I think dereit's just too far up
Bosa's ushole to care about anyone else. They're of one
(33:54):
season and they're already like chum chum chum.
Speaker 3 (33:58):
It just how quickly things go up they can come down.
And I feel like that will be an interesting one
to watch when we move through to next season because
he can already see Bose's clocked dereat on a few things, which, okay,
that's fine, good friends do that. But will there come
a point where those two come to blows? Because I
think that intensity of the friendship could easily sour.
Speaker 2 (34:21):
What do you have to say about Bosey, you're Bozman.
I just think she needs a new weave stylist. Well,
she's got her own hairline you were telling me about
I like it. You're bose Man.
Speaker 4 (34:29):
Or is She does have her own hairline, and so
the whek look I think.
Speaker 3 (34:33):
I think the weave is the least of it. I
think can be doing a new show with Jimmy Fallon,
like a marketing style apprentice kind of a vibe. I
think she, you know, is trying to have a baby,
like she's got a lot going on. The weave is
at the bottom of the list, but I reckon her
and dereat be interesting to see how it plays out.
(34:54):
It'll be I think the next season for bose I
think she was a standout. We haven't had a new
bi like that in quite a while.
Speaker 2 (35:01):
But can it be sustained how many Alana maclean's are
you giving this episode for a part three reunion? Two?
Speaker 3 (35:09):
And that was really just because that gar Cell moment
at the end. I feel like when they had the
camera in the dressing room and she's getting the gloves
pulled off and she's like, I'm leaving like that was interesting.
Speaker 4 (35:22):
I was honest, I'm always honest, but it's nobody.
Speaker 8 (35:26):
It did.
Speaker 2 (35:26):
Nobody.
Speaker 6 (35:26):
Nobody said oh okay, you have accountability. Everybody jumped on me,
and I felt like I was on an island by myself.
Speaker 3 (35:33):
I can't be friends with people like that.
Speaker 2 (35:34):
I don't trust them.
Speaker 3 (35:35):
I don't trust them and they obviously don't like me.
That last sort of minute watching it unfold, But apart
from that, there was nothing really in there for me.
Speaker 2 (35:45):
Yeah, you were complaining.
Speaker 1 (35:47):
The highlight for me was Jennifer Tilly's speech. There are boats,
and there are big boats, and there are gold are
ships not boats.
Speaker 4 (35:54):
Yes, ships, the lous vatarn ship.
Speaker 2 (35:57):
Blue ships.
Speaker 1 (35:57):
There were Louis Vauton ships, but the best is friendship.
Thank you, Jennifer Tilly. I'll remember that forever.
Speaker 3 (36:03):
I was get it on a T shirt immediately.
Speaker 8 (36:05):
Yeh.
Speaker 3 (36:07):
Do you know, even watching gar Cell, when she said
that friendship line, she goes oh wow, like she didn't
go oh yeah, she is, like she she was just steaming.
I just we need some kind of post interview. I'm
sure it'll all come out in the wash, but it's.
Speaker 2 (36:23):
Going to come out. It's going to come out. We
were waiting on that I'm going to give this episode
two stars, and I think I took away more stars
just because I was expecting so much more, Like I
was thinking that the first episode was there was just
no filler full pedal to the metal Part two, which
you liked better. You actually said more stars for that one.
(36:45):
But then this time around we were like we were
left with this huge expectation. We're like, oh my god,
they've got so much to cover, And when we went
to chuck e cheese or we went to other things,
you were like, no, people, that's not it. And also
just felt like Sutton didn't get you know, reamed hard
enough for some of her behavior. Just thought, I don't know, Andy.
He fired off so many great questions for the first
(37:05):
two parts. Third part, Ben, how many Ben Williams are
you going to give it? I'm going to give it half.
I think it was really boring. Oh god, can we do?
Speaker 9 (37:16):
You know what?
Speaker 2 (37:16):
We just realized that the whole way through this we
could have had Ben just at the end like the
Simon Cowell of the three of us.
Speaker 4 (37:22):
Yes, that sucked. I know we haven't given anything out
half the whole season.
Speaker 2 (37:27):
No, and that's why we need you from now on.
You're like Red Simons from Red Faces, which is before
your time.
Speaker 1 (37:32):
I do feel like, you know, a good chunk of
the episode was just them flashing to the streets of
la because they obviously had nothing to talk about, like
it was that dull.
Speaker 3 (37:41):
Which I guess leads us onto the final point, where
do you see it going next season? Is there something
you want to see or something that you're expecting to happen,
any predictions.
Speaker 2 (37:53):
I thought about how we can discuss this, and I
was thinking about let's play a game of keep to
take two away, because I thought that might give us
the opportunity to talk about what could reshape next year.
My non negotiables for next season may shock people, but
I'm going with I want Kyle Richards to stay in Bosma.
They're my two that I want to keep, and the
(38:15):
two that I would remove from the show is Sudden
Strap and Jennifer Tilly, and I think the show would
look quite different. Wow.
Speaker 1 (38:22):
My must keeps would be Derete because she is serving
it up, and probably also Kyle, just because I want
to see what happens with their friendship. I want to
see where that goes if they resolve, and I also
would like to see them out on a double date.
I think next season could be all about the dating.
You know, remember when Sutton when on those really awkward dates.
Speaker 4 (38:41):
Oh my god, the most.
Speaker 1 (38:42):
Hideous outfits, and that was just the most awkward TV.
I feel like Derete and Kyle would be so different
on a date, and I just love to see them
in action.
Speaker 2 (38:50):
Who did you take Away? Bose and Sudden?
Speaker 4 (38:55):
Okay, Oh this is a really hard one.
Speaker 2 (38:58):
I should have actually asked you this question with a
week to prepare.
Speaker 3 (39:02):
It's like I'll be still here for the third part reunion.
Just think about my answer. It's not okay, So Keith,
I am with you. I think Bo's is a good addition,
and I think Erica because I feel like she's about
to jump in. She's just had that sort of transition,
that turning point. I feel like we might see a
bit more out of her. And I just really like
(39:24):
the way they go about things. I like that they
can do the cutdowns but in a civilized way. So
I'm here for that and take Away definitely Suttain. I
just I can't with her, and I don't know Kyle
needs to step it up. I think she has got
to a point where she's sitting on her laurels a bit,
and she's asked for a pass because she's an og
(39:46):
and she keeps defaulting to this for fourteen years. If
you've seen my life, but we didn't see a huge
amount of that this time. I feel like this Morgan
piece needs to come to the surface. I don't want
to necessarily get rid of her, but I think she's
she's on watch.
Speaker 4 (40:02):
I'm clocking her.
Speaker 2 (40:03):
Okay, well, give me one other person that you would
chuck out, Sutton. Oh well, there we go. You've got
those two. And then maybe just the bonus round of
if you could re add a housewife from the Real
Housewives of Beverly Hills or from any Housewives universe, who
would you add in? And I mind's a no brainer.
And I don't even to add any dialogue to it.
So I'm just going to go with Lisa Renner would
(40:24):
need to come back, Ben, what have you got?
Speaker 1 (40:26):
I would love to see Brandy come back. Her face
is falling apart at the moment, and I'd love to
follow that.
Speaker 3 (40:31):
Okay, well, I mean that would be an interesting one
to bring back. I Also, even though I sort of
feel like this Lisa vander Pump thing has legs, I do.
I think what I think that could be the piece
that we need to see Kyle come back out of
her shell, is working through that friendship and how it
all fell apart with Lisa vander Pump. I think that
(40:52):
would be an interesting watch. So goodbye, I'll go with
LVP Goodbye Kyle.
Speaker 2 (40:58):
Well, I guess that kind of makes it look like
ultimate dream team for next year could be Kyle Richard's
a Lisa vander Pump, Lisa Rinner, Erica Jane Dereet Kamersley
Bow's Randy Glanville, and then just bring Cameille Grammer back in.
Just I reckon that's the dream season that would just
pick it up.
Speaker 3 (41:16):
I think there's a new person still to come. I
think I reckon they'll try and get Ada Field Ida Field,
Robert Williams' wife. Yeah, Okay, Well, I wouldn't say that.
We I feel like we've done a bit of a
part three in the sense that we don't feel like
today has been our strongest. I think thank God for
Ben Williams, because I feel like you have saved this
episode from ourselves.
Speaker 2 (41:38):
We could have just been repeating the same stuff all
the time. It was nice to bring in a third
you're a friend of.
Speaker 4 (41:43):
But you're a friend of your full diamond yet.
Speaker 2 (41:46):
I'm happy with my diamonds where they are. Okay, all right,
you ve Jennifer Tilly, he's the Jennifer Tilly. What's that
apart from this club thing you're going to tonight? What's
on for Easter? Apart from that, you're going to hide
some mister eggs for Robbie to find.
Speaker 3 (41:58):
Or yeah, there's I did buy some.
Speaker 4 (42:00):
Yeah, I should do a little Easter hunt.
Speaker 3 (42:02):
That'd be cute. Look, I'll probably eat a hot Cross
barn or something.
Speaker 2 (42:07):
Those as well. We don't normally eat them, but I
bought them for the Easter because it's Easter weekend.
Speaker 8 (42:10):
They're over there.
Speaker 3 (42:11):
Yeah, I mean, you guys are going to be hitting
the red wine in tins twenty minutes.
Speaker 2 (42:15):
I would have thought, yeah, five five o'clock, we drunk.
Speaker 3 (42:19):
I love it. Well, I have loved our Little Housewives journey.
We've had the best time and we have really covered
some ground.
Speaker 2 (42:29):
Well, you enjoy your Easter, and to anyone that is listening,
everyone who is still listening, Happy Easter, have a great time,
and we will look forward to returning to talk about
something television related soon because we just need to find
out what's happening with your hair, for God's sake, every week.
Speaker 3 (42:45):
No, don't look at it right now.
Speaker 4 (42:46):
It's not I have to I have to wash my
tan off and then and then.
Speaker 3 (42:49):
I'll fix the hair.
Speaker 4 (42:50):
Don't worry. This is all part of the journey.
Speaker 2 (42:52):
I can't wait. Can you just send me the peel
and a revel lay that sent it to me?
Speaker 3 (42:56):
All right, all right, well, love you both. That was
so wonderful to have you on there, Ben, and.
Speaker 4 (43:02):
Until season fifteen.
Speaker 2 (43:04):
Cheerio, cheeriohdar Okay, goodbye, here's to leep.
Speaker 4 (43:08):
Oh he's going friend to the podcast.
Speaker 3 (43:10):
He's done a g cell, he's done his minimum of obligation.
Speaker 4 (43:14):
And then he's like, I'm out.
Speaker 2 (43:15):
Ben did cast photo. He's that's it. He didn't turn around.
He's after that motel go on. Okay, well, the very
best
