Danny Brewer's Horse Racing Scoop

Let’s hop into some stakes action on Saturday, October 28th! First, we’re heading to Belmont at the Big A Meet for the Grade II Forty Niner Stakes. Then, over to the heart of horse country for Keeneland’s closing weekend—Danny gives his picks for the Bowman Mill Stakes, the Bryan Station Stakes, and the Hagyard Fayette Stakes. 

This Saturday, October 21st, we start off at Keeneland, and Danny gives his picks for Race 6, the Perryville Stakes, and Race 9, the Grade II Lexus Raven Run. We finish the day at Woodbine with Race 9, the Grade III Ontario Derby.

This week, Danny talks his picks for races on Saturday, October 14th, and Sunday, October 15th. First up, we’re going to Belmont at the Big A for the Sands Point Stakes, then over to Keeneland for the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes, and finally to the west coast to Santa Anita Park for the California Distaff Handicap. We end the weekend of racing on Sunday at Keeneland with the Franklin Stakes.

In this week’s edition of Friday Pony Picks, Danny takes us to Keeneland Racecourse for the Woodford Stakes, the First Lady Stakes, and the Coolmore Turf Mile. We end the day at Santa Anita Park with the Rodeo Drive Stakes.

In this episode, Danny talks stakes races for Saturday, September 30th. First, we head to Belmont Park for the Big A Meet and the Grade II Vosburgh, and then we stop at Churchill Downs for the Grade III Ack Ack. Finally, we venture to Santa Anita for the Grade II Santa Anita Sprint Championships, the Grade I Awesome Again Stakes, and the Grade II City of Hope Mile Stakes.

Saturday, September 23rd, is the first day of fall and we are heading to Parx Racing in Pennsylvania for a fabulous day of horse racing. Danny talks picks for Race 10, the Parx Dirt Mile, Race 12, the Cotillion, and Race 13, the Pennsylvania Derby.

In this episode, Danny talks about contenders for a day of racing on Saturday, September 16th. This weekend, the historic Churchill Downs will host the Grade III Pocahontas, the Iroquois Stakes, and the Locust Grove Stakes.

Saturday, September 9th, is a gargantuan day on the grass with six stakes races at Kentucky Downs. Danny gives his insight on the two Breeder’s Cup “win-and-you’re-in” races: Race 10, the Ainsworth Turf Sprint, and Race 12 FanDuel Turf Cup.

Some great races are going on this Labor Day weekend! We start at Kentucky Downs and discuss Race 8 the Gun Runner Stakes, Race 9 the Music City Stakes, and Race 10 the Mint Million. Finally, Danny talks contenders for the Pacific Classic at Del Mar.

Danny talks contenders for races this Saturday August 26th. First up is Saratoga’s Allen Jerkens Memorial, the Grade I Ballerina and finally the Travers Stakes. Then, we head over to the west coast for the Grade II Pat O’Brien at Del Mar.

This week on our Friday Pony Picks, Danny walks us through contenders for Race 7 at Saratoga, the Grade II Lake Placid Stakes, and Race 9, the Grade I Alabama Stakes, then we finish at Del Mar with Race 8, the Grade I Del Mar Oaks. Back a horse and get paid!

This Saturday, August 12th, is another big day in the thoroughbred racing game! Danny starts off at Saratoga with the Grade II Saratoga Special and the Grade I Fourstardave. Then we head to Del Mar for the Grade III Sorrento Stakes and the Grade II Yellow Ribbon Handicap. Back a horse and get paid!

There is a plethora of action going on at Saratoga Race Course this Saturday, August 5th. Danny predicts outcomes for the Grade III Troy Stakes, the Grade I Test Stakes, the Grade I Saratoga Derby, and the one-million-dollar Whitney Stakes. Back a horse and get paid!

Get ready for graded stakes glory this Saturday, July 29th! Danny’s first stop is Saratoga for Race 8, the Grade I Alfred G. Vanderbilt, and Race 10, the Grade II Jim Dandy. Then, we head to the West Coast to Del Mar for Race 8, the Grade II San Diego, and Race 10, the Grade I Bing Crosby. Back a horse and get paid!

In this edition of Friday Pony Picks, Danny discusses a few races on Saturday, July 22nd. First up is Race Nine at Saratoga, the Grade I Coaching Club American Oaks, then Race 11 at Monmouth Park, the Grade I United Nations, and Race 12, the One-Million-Dollar Haskell Invitational. Finally, we end up at Del Mar for Race Nine, the Grade II San Clemente. Back a horse and get paid!

First, Danny discusses the Belmont Oaks at Belmont Park, the Grade I Belmont Derby, and the Grade III Victory Ride Stakes. Saturday, June 24th, will be a great day of racing—Danny talks contenders for the Grade III Ohio Derby at Thistledown and the Grade III Chicago Stakes at Ellis Park. Back a horse and get paid!

This Saturday, June 17th, we have four stakes races at four tracks. Danny talks his picks for the Grade II Bed of Roses at Belmont Park; then we head over to Monmouth Park for the Pegasus Stakes, Ellis Park for the Monomoy Girl Stakes, and finally, we end up at Santa Anita for the Fasig-Tipton Futurity.
