Welcome to the final edition of Friday Pony Picks for 2023! Saturday, November 4th is all about the Breeder’s Cup at Santa Anita. Danny gives his picks for the 1-million dollar Filly and Mare Sprint, the Breeder’s Cup Mile, Breeder’s Cup Classic, the Turf Sprint, and the Breeder’s Cup Sprint.
Let’s hop into some stakes action on Saturday, October 28th! First, we’re heading to Belmont at the Big A Meet for the Grade II Forty Niner Stakes. Then, over to the heart of horse country for Keeneland’s closing weekend—Danny gives his picks for the Bowman Mill Stakes, the Bryan Station Stakes, and the Hagyard Fayette Stakes.
This Saturday, October 21st, we start off at Keeneland, and Danny gives his picks for Race 6, the Perryville Stakes, and Race 9, the Grade II Lexus Raven Run. We finish the day at Woodbine with Race 9, the Grade III Ontario Derby.
This week, Danny talks his picks for races on Saturday, October 14th, and Sunday, October 15th. First up, we’re going to Belmont at the Big A for the Sands Point Stakes, then over to Keeneland for the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes, and finally to the west coast to Santa Anita Park for the California Distaff Handicap. We end the weekend of racing on Sunday at Keeneland with the Franklin Stakes.
In this week’s edition of Friday Pony Picks, Danny takes us to Keeneland Racecourse for the Woodford Stakes, the First Lady Stakes, and the Coolmore Turf Mile. We end the day at Santa Anita Park with the Rodeo Drive Stakes.

In this episode, Danny talks about contenders for a day of racing on Saturday, September 16th. This weekend, the historic Churchill Downs will host the Grade III Pocahontas, the Iroquois Stakes, and the Locust Grove Stakes.
Saturday, September 9th, is a gargantuan day on the grass with six stakes races at Kentucky Downs. Danny gives his insight on the two Breeder’s Cup “win-and-you’re-in” races: Race 10, the Ainsworth Turf Sprint, and Race 12 FanDuel Turf Cup.
Some great races are going on this Labor Day weekend! We start at Kentucky Downs and discuss Race 8 the Gun Runner Stakes, Race 9 the Music City Stakes, and Race 10 the Mint Million. Finally, Danny talks contenders for the Pacific Classic at Del Mar.
