Is pleasing God an impossible task? It is written, ". . . without faith, it is impossible to please Him (God) for he that comes to God must believe that He is . . .". Pleasing God begins with a clear acknowledgment that He exists, and He awaits the evidence of a willing, obedient life.

The exercise of faith is not distinct from developing an upright, holy character. Connection with God - the ability to "touch the hand of God" in one's life experience is predicated on having a character standing before God that is God-approved.

The second most excellent gift of the new birth life is not only the gift of eternal life but the resurrection-life of the Lord Jesus Christ in our mortal bodies. Paul wrote: I am crucified with Christ; nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ lives in me! 

God, who raised Christ from the dead, now lives in us to impart resurrection life by the same power utilized to raise Jesus from the dead. Our Lord Jesus offered Himself spotless by the Eternal Spirit to execute a mighty deliverance.
