Speaker 3 (01:01):
And on that note, Kelly, where's my present?
Speaker 1 (01:04):
Literally it's coming, it's coming. It is Friday. I didn't
bring your gift, but I bought you recommendations. That's basically
the same thing.
Speaker 3 (01:14):
So if you knew.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
Here on Fridays we talk about some really great products.
We think you want to know about a spendy, a savy,
something new and something we've recently rediscovered in our stash,
or that we've loved so much we've finished.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
What would you like to go first with todayly bing
bang bong, let's go savy? All right, Well, what's your savy,
spendy baby, spendy bay.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
Mine's a twenty dollar primer that's really good. I don't
use primer except for when I use primer, so I'm lazy.
But my paws getting bigger, sometimes just use spot Primer Perfection.
This one is twenty dollars. It's a designer rounds blur primer,
blur skin like magic peptide infusion Q ten Vitamin AC
(02:03):
and it's twenty bucks.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
You probably don't need blurring. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
No. I do not like anything that blows me because
it's like for oilies, not always true, true and correct.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
Okay, fair enough. I do do it on my tea zone.
But here, my paws are getting quite big here. Did
not use it today?
Speaker 3 (02:18):
Can you tell?
Speaker 2 (02:19):
Nose and chin not on the outer of my cheeks?
This literally watched this. I gotta hope it works.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
Like, oh yes, okay, that just paris filtered your hand.
Speaker 3 (02:28):
Thank you. Twenty dollars. You could use it all over
your face.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
Make a shot for every time Lee has said it's
twenty dollars. Okay, guys, actually it's nineteen ninety nine where
I'm looking.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
So you can you need to have the shot. You
can have your one cent somewhere else. Honestly, with a
primer like this, you do need to wait to put
your foundation, and I'd wait five three four, five minutes
because it does go a little bit tacky. But then
it's like literally you've rendered you all.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
Yes the standard you all, and now your wall is
ready to receive that pain putty. It goes into any
like little crevices.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
Designer brands are doing some really great stuff at the moment.
Would you like to try it?
Speaker 1 (03:02):
I'll just feel your hand. It feels nice elberw tea
not too matty. And then if you put like a
juicy foundation on top, well, funnily enough segue into my
saving could I put it on? Which is the ordinary?
The oh my gosh, so exciting. So it if anyone
that's playing along and just squealed like a bird. It
(03:23):
is the Ordinary Serum Foundation. So funny story. This was
out years ago, and I remember you talking about it.
I never got to try it.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
Oh, they took it away from me.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
They took it away from me. I never ever got
to try it. It's twelve dollars and seventy cents. You
can get it from my outor you can get it online.
You try a little bit.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
On top of that, I'm so glad they brought this back.
I was like, guys, what is your problem over there?
You've got one great stuff.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
Well I knew that it would have been good, so
I was very surprised when you couldn't get it.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
I think they were like, hang on, let's just focus
on skincare, makeups, a whole other thing. But then the people,
the people had something to say. It is so lightweight,
it is so perfectious. Really is this your shade?
Speaker 1 (03:59):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (03:59):
Too new think?
Speaker 1 (04:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (04:00):
I think yeah, yeah, probably.
Speaker 1 (04:01):
I got it out of my drawer, so I assume
it was the right Have you been wearing the incorrect color? So?
Speaker 3 (04:07):
Is it still twelve ninety five? That's so much at.
Speaker 1 (04:08):
Twelve seventy, So they've taken twenty five cents.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
Yeah, it was always twelveish. Oh, I'm so glad they
brought that back. Thank you the ordinary, And I just
love that they listen to the people.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
Yeah, I agree, It's just it's got such a nice finish.
It comes in so many different shades. You can blend
it out, you can mail ittle, full coverage. It's a
nice little bottle. Good for travel, great for travel. It's outstanding.
So yeah, definitely recommend that one. What's his spending?
Speaker 3 (04:35):
All right?
Speaker 2 (04:35):
Well, it's a foundation that's ninety dollars, but it's very good.
It is the Image skincare. I can seal flawless foundation.
So remember God months ago now you talked about that
amazing lip thing by Image skin wash.
Speaker 3 (04:50):
Same brand.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
A lot of people don't know about this brand, but
it's a very fancy, expensive but really well formulated cosmeceutical brand.
Speaker 3 (04:58):
This is foundation. Oh spar thirty in it.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
I know, cute bottle right like, it's stole, three shades
very sad, beije swede and natural three shades beige. That
is ba you should only have three shades.
Speaker 3 (05:11):
Yeah, it is, isn't it? This is natural? Let me
tell you about it.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
It's a smoothing, blending foundation, oh mineral, Oh broad spectrum SPF,
oh mineral peguans, blendzeemlessly for full coverage. I won't say
full coverage, but like not maskie plants, stem cells, antioxidants,
and conditioning botanicals. So because it is a cosmeceutical brand
and they've done a foundation, I mean the shade range
(05:35):
is shocking, but think of it like skin care with
a foundation thing, like if you've.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
Had laser or needling.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
Like it's one of those great brands because it's really
really nourishing. Wouldn't try it. It's very juicy, actually you
might like. I like how juice it is, but I
have to mat it down ninety.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
Dollars ooh ooh ooh. Yeah it's good, right.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
I mean it's a bit sinky because of the sunscreen,
but I like that and it's just like nice.
Speaker 1 (06:01):
That's so it's like it's got gold in it.
Speaker 3 (06:04):
Yeah exactly.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
I don't wear it as my sunscreen, so I've mixed
a bit with like a moisturizer.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
A yeh.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
I'm going to just give you a delicious glow and
there's just really great skincare in there. It is the
Spendy to Kelly's Savy Foundation. But I just love everything
Image does. What's your spending? So my spendye is a
little duo trio.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
Yes, it is different.
Speaker 3 (06:25):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (06:25):
But you're holding three product I am so it is
the Clinique and Sephora. They've like collabbed to a special addition,
so they're clinique products. But you can only get this
little trio at Sephora.
Speaker 3 (06:36):
But are you holding black Honey shades? Yes, Oh my god,
it is.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
The combo for winter. Yeah, I'm calling it. I mean
it is heaven so black honey if well, surely most
people have heard of black. Black Honey was a cult
color that's like it looks black, but you swipe it
on it's quite sheer. And they discontinued it god decades ago,
and there was a revolt by the people and they
(07:00):
brought it back. They brought it back. It is just
like such a beautiful wash of color. I mean, I
have teased eron before. I'm pretty sure won you for
the U Beauty once she was like, well, she said
it was her favorite all time lip product, and I
was like, seriously, have.
Speaker 3 (07:14):
You got it on now?
Speaker 1 (07:14):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (07:15):
So good Okay, yes I do.
Speaker 2 (07:16):
And the people around the world rioted for this lip
It is.
Speaker 1 (07:20):
Just because it's kind of purple. It's kind of not
it's kind of like it's not pepply that makes it
sound awful. It's black honey. It's like it's black honey.
It's like a deep cherry color. It is just so heavenly. Anyway,
So this combo, you get the lip liner, so the
Clinque lip liner in intense blush, and it's.
Speaker 3 (07:38):
Just like such oh, and it's a retractable.
Speaker 1 (07:40):
It's retractable. It's great. And then you get the black
honey lip stick and then the pop Plush creamy lip gloss,
which is in black honey. Pop.
Speaker 3 (07:51):
Oh, give it to me.
Speaker 1 (07:53):
It's ninety five dollars from Sephora. So they've made this
little trio just for Sephora, just for Sophora, because hopper
honey range. Now there's like blush blush, yeah, biscare exactly.
So anyway, it's really cool, and I just think it's
such a good combo for people to have in their
bag for winter because it's not too.
Speaker 3 (08:11):
Did I sound like a cow having birthday?
Speaker 1 (08:14):
It's not so intense that it's scary, like you don't
need a precision brush, you don't need to be really
bold with your makeup. It is so wearable for every
day but it's sexy, it's fun. It's very like French
gold has got out of it, and it's Yeah, I'm
just so effortless, and I just think it's a really
good deal because, like by itself, the gloss is forty
(08:35):
eight dollars and the black the liner is forty bucks,
and then the lipstick is forty eight dollars as well,
So I think it's a pretty good deal.
Speaker 2 (08:44):
I love it because I think also it's clever for
brands like Clinic to partner with Sephora and bring that
to a younger audience because there's a lot of people
that wouldn't know the cult black honey or maybe even
think about trying clinicque.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
But exactly cool. It's so cool. I reckon. This has
got so many different age group skin tones. I love that.
I love three products in a little box, and I'm
just so slipped that in didn't. Okay, after the break,
Kelly seems to have been getting over her fragrance aversion.
My news is working again.
Speaker 3 (09:12):
Okay, new perfume let's go, Hey.
Speaker 1 (09:21):
Nubie, anything else it's new.
Speaker 2 (09:25):
All right, Well, you need to tell us about your
fragrance because I'm here for it. I've missed your fragrance
recommendations while you had a bit of a nose break.
Speaker 1 (09:32):
She didn't break a nose. She just didn't like fragrance. I
just did not like fragrance. And I'm back on the bandwagon.
My nose is working again, Like I love fragrance again.
And it's not freaking out, it's not too overpowering.
Speaker 3 (09:44):
Yeah, you found everything over.
Speaker 1 (09:45):
Everything was grossing out and giving me the ick.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
Which was so weird because he was such a heavy
fragrance person before that.
Speaker 1 (09:51):
This one has come out this week. It's the Kaali,
which is the Hooter beauty sister sister So actually it's
business and family, So Hooda and her sister launched the
fragrance brand Kaali. This is the fleur Majesty Rose Row.
Speaker 3 (10:06):
Can I smell it?
Speaker 1 (10:07):
So? I smelt it a couple of weeks ago at
a Sephora event, and I will just say so. I
got a big compliment from the pr She was like,
you're the first person that's picked up the notes.
Speaker 3 (10:17):
You're very good at guessing fragrances.
Speaker 1 (10:19):
Okay, doesn't smell that nice in the bottle.
Speaker 2 (10:21):
Remember once years ago we were paired together and we
had to we do it a fragrance guessing notes.
Speaker 1 (10:25):
And I wasn't very good at it.
Speaker 3 (10:26):
That night I brought us down. You were great, Oh
was I?
Speaker 1 (10:29):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (10:29):
I was like perfume flowers.
Speaker 1 (10:31):
But like, I smell this, and I strato it could
smell the pear and I could smell the peach because
at first I was like, ill rose, Like I don't
mind rose, but I don't want to whole fragrance around
rock penny. Yeah, pink, peeny and rose as the florals,
and then peach, peir, mandarin and orange is the top notes.
Speaker 3 (10:50):
Also, have you ever just seen a bottle so pretty?
Speaker 1 (10:52):
Oh my gosh, they're so pretty. So anyway, it's just gorgeous,
and I think it is. So it's very unique because well,
this looks expensive? Is it expensive? So the fifty mil
kali perfumes are one sixty five and then one hundred
is two twenty eight.
Speaker 3 (11:07):
I mean there's a lot of money, but that's also
standard these.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
Yeah. Well it's an edp which is a strong perfume
like It's not going to come off after a few hours.
You'll be able to wear it all day.
Speaker 2 (11:18):
I love that my newbie is another new to me,
not new to the world.
Speaker 3 (11:23):
But the world needs to know about it.
Speaker 2 (11:25):
So I have you know, me adhd hyperfocused when I
really am into.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
Something, geers into it. My Kauty and J beauty shopping.
Speaker 2 (11:34):
I think it would be cheaper to flight to Korea
at this point and just buy everything. I'm obsessed and
there's basically nothing bad I've tried. But I've brought today
the skin food Peach multi finished powder nineteen dollars and something.
I bought it from Beauty Amora, and actually the time
of recording it's down to less than ten dollars. I
paid nineteen dollars as a combo.
Speaker 3 (11:55):
Girl.
Speaker 2 (11:55):
We love a finally milled powder, Yeah, we do. Oh
my god, you have to try this. So firstly, I mean,
I know you don't want you to make up to
smell like peach, but I.
Speaker 1 (12:02):
Don't mind to light fragrance. Remember my problems with the
notorium last week. I really want a bit of a fragrance,
So I mean I wouldn't well, that's an I wouldn't
use a puff.
Speaker 2 (12:11):
I would use a brush like there's still someone there.
It is so finely milled. That's why it has to.
Speaker 3 (12:15):
Be believe and see it.
Speaker 1 (12:17):
Yeah, I know, right, because think of K Beauty and
J Beauty, how they've got that beautiful finish. They came
up with glass skin basically, yes, and I mean glass skin.
Speaker 2 (12:26):
You think really glossy and glowy. But then there's a
subset of that that wants sort of velvety map.
Speaker 3 (12:30):
That's still very like flawless.
Speaker 2 (12:32):
I'm not saying this is going to give you flawless skin,
but it is so finely milled that if you just
want to knock back a little bit of shine maybe
just in your tea zone, or if you're really oily
all over, like you can't even feel it, it's like
it doesn't exist, but just see like.
Speaker 3 (12:46):
That so beautiful. It's so beautiful.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
So honestly, I need to step back because the orders
that are coming in every day, because I also forget
which website I bought them from. I have been going crazy,
and I honestly have been so impressed with everything, but
this little powder for twenty bucks or if you get
it at the time of recording or you know, shop
around ten dollars. It is the most delicious powder that
is beautiful and it smells like pictures.
Speaker 3 (13:11):
Which is fun.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
Peachsches beaches, peaching away.
Speaker 1 (13:16):
Well, that was a terrible sick way. But after the break,
what have we shopped for? What have we emptied? I've
got a very fancy body product shop mustache.
Speaker 3 (13:34):
Okay, kel, Well, I want to hear your fancy body product.
Speaker 1 (13:37):
Well, it's something that I never would have tried, but
it was submitted for the You Beauty Awards, and so
I thought, well, this is a fancy looking serum.
Speaker 3 (13:44):
I wonder if I've tried it for the body.
Speaker 1 (13:46):
It's from Mecca. It's called Uni twenty four Hour Body Serum.
Have you tried it?
Speaker 3 (13:52):
No? But I've got it in my pile of thing okay,
finished trying.
Speaker 1 (13:55):
Well, it's this beautiful orange canister, like it is so luxurious.
Speaker 3 (14:00):
So straight away I was like, oh, that's what's X
not University.
Speaker 1 (14:05):
I'd say UNISEX. I don't know. I thought it was
just a brand. I don't know. Anyone can use this.
It's a body product. Anyone can use anything. It's seventy
dollars for the thing wow, which is three hundred and
seventy five mils Big or you can buy like the
refill because it's in such a nice can of star Yeah.
Oh my goodness. It is really cooling. It's like a
light green gel moisturizer. So it's called a serum, but
(14:28):
it's not a serum like it's a gel moisturizer texture.
It's so cooling and refreshing, and it's got the most
beautiful fragrance.
Speaker 2 (14:36):
I need to make sure I've tested this before the
awards closed, because I don't know.
Speaker 1 (14:40):
Oh the orange, I do have it. It's a big
orange pump. Yeah, so it's got these I didn't know.
Speaker 3 (14:44):
It's so expensive.
Speaker 1 (14:45):
It's got the marine complex in it, which is Australian
lime cavia that exfoliates dead skin cells, vitamin C rich
Australian kackadoo plum. And you will love it because it
doesn't make your skin feel greasy. It's just like really
hydrated and like the most beautiful, light fresh fragrance. It's
kind of like it gives me Elizabeth hard and green
(15:06):
tea vibes with the fragrance, like how clean it is.
Speaker 2 (15:08):
It is hard to get the Goldie lots of body
because I hate to feel suffocated and slimy, and I
hate to feel like I've wasted a time moist driving
when it doesn't do anything.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
This is great. What about you? Did you empty?
Speaker 2 (15:18):
I know I have you so much of this and
there's still so much to go. So you got me
onto this. But wait, let me tell you what happened. Okay,
go maybe six months ago now you had a mini
of this or did you have the big one?
Speaker 1 (15:28):
It was like two months ago?
Speaker 3 (15:30):
Okay, what all brain?
Speaker 1 (15:31):
I know.
Speaker 2 (15:32):
It's the core Sex six peptide skin booster serum. This size,
which is huge, is one hundred fifty mils fifty five dollars.
Can get it on a door beauty or you can
get it at a bunch of websites. There's also a mini.
So you talked about this. We loved it, but then
I felt I was like, well that's a bit slimy, right,
I know, Well, I just felt it was a bit
I had to wash my hands anyway.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
I think that was probably the ten products you had
on underneath it.
Speaker 3 (15:54):
Let me explain what.
Speaker 2 (15:55):
Okay, Then in my scrolling, you know, despite my better knowledge,
I got stalked by the cookies of this very expensive
body brand.
Speaker 3 (16:04):
Well, let me tell you.
Speaker 1 (16:05):
Let me sorry.
Speaker 3 (16:06):
I'm excited, very.
Speaker 2 (16:08):
Very expensive body product that showed like a before and
after of a really creepy arm and then the arm
was flawless, and it was like one hundred and forty
dollars for this bloody body thing. But it kept hunting
me down this ad, and I was like, I'm so
close to buying this. It's too good to be true,
but god damn it, they've sucked me in.
Speaker 3 (16:24):
Thankfully.
Speaker 2 (16:24):
I've spoken about my girlfriend who's an esthetician a lot,
and sometimes I'm like, look, I know a fair bit,
but you're a bloody expert. I sent it to her
and she was like, Okay, firstly, they're photoshopped and secondly,
and I've looked to the ingredients and they're lovely, but
they're not worth that. And she said, if you want
similar ingredients that it's not that much by this.
Speaker 3 (16:43):
So this is great for your face.
Speaker 2 (16:45):
The core sex, the six peptide skin booster serum, even
skin tone, hydrating firms and smooths poor and Sebam Care
improved skin texture. Because I wanted it for my creepy
arms and my decolotage, and it's still expensive to use
on your body, but like it's like water. So I
just do like one, two, three pumps on my arms
and my decolotage, and it's sort of super restorative and hydrating.
(17:07):
And she says it's very very very similar in ingredients
to this product of this ad that I nearly.
Speaker 1 (17:14):
I'd love to have that sort of brain where you
just know, like yeah, Like I'm like, I know it's
too good to be true.
Speaker 3 (17:18):
I can see peptides.
Speaker 2 (17:19):
They don't look like they're the most amazing, you know,
painted whatever. But I send it to her and she's like, yep,
you're correct, don't spend it by this instead, I did,
so use it on your face, use it on your
creepy bits. Yeah, of course, nothing's gonna work overnight. Nothing's
gonna work like a slide screener before and after on Instagram.
Speaker 1 (17:34):
Because that is photoshop.
Speaker 3 (17:36):
Yes, but you started it, she ended it. I bought it,
and I love it.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
Okay, well, great, Now before we go, we have some
very sad news, probably more sad for us than the listeners,
because they are not room enjoy our beautiful cast the
way that we do.
Speaker 2 (17:52):
Yeah. So, for many years, Cass, I've called cast my
work mum, because she's been the producer of not only
You Beauty but Nothing to Wear, which I.
Speaker 1 (17:58):
Hope it's all so younger than us, which is quite funny.
Speaker 2 (18:00):
And she wrangles us and tells us to shut up
and tells us to clarify things and.
Speaker 1 (18:04):
Looks after us like it's always so protective and make
sure we're fed and water, like treats us like we're
real divers. Really we're not.
Speaker 2 (18:13):
And our beautiful cass is moving to London, so this
is her last episode she's producing. I take full blame
because last year she was talking about maybe traveling and
I was like, do it while you're young, And then
when she said I'm going, I was like, how rude.
Speaker 1 (18:25):
Yeah, She's like, I have some news and I said,
oh no, and then she told me what she's doing
it and I was like, oh, yes, that's it's great
for you. Not good fast, but great for you. But
we just want to thank her for everything she's done,
because she really is the producer extraordinay.
Speaker 2 (18:43):
And because this is the last episode produced by Kessie Merritt.
If you do enjoy the show, a huge amount of
work goes into it. Kelly and I sit down, we
get up for a water, we lose our train of thought,
and cass just pulls us back into line and makes
the show sound amazing. So if you enjoy the show,
please give.
Speaker 1 (18:58):
Us a review or a rating, because it's all everyone knows,
is please.
Speaker 3 (19:03):
So for the very last time you.
Speaker 2 (19:05):
Beauty is produced by Cassie Merritt and audio production is
by Teag and sad Lie, with video products by Marlena Cacciotti.
Speaker 3 (19:11):
And we will see each other on Monday. Bye bye,
m h
Speaker 1 (19:22):
M hm
