(00:01):
Backstage. Welcome to the Backstage withBrook. You're all access passed to music
City, where nothing is off limits. Grab a drink, let's go backstage.
All right. It is episode NumeroUNO of Backstage with Brook and y'all
my first guest check this out.I had to. I just thought,
(00:31):
I love that. God. Iwas just like, what could be her
hype of like walk out intro song? And I'm like, that's it.
I'm not kidding for one second. This is like deep cut fun fact,
the very beginning of a rock Yeah, I'm on the track and you can
hear me go uh huh. AndI literally for a second I was like,
oh shit, she found it onit. I did not know that
(00:55):
I'm gonna have to pull a backclip. That's amazing, ridiculous. But
I'm like, give me the royalties, Like is my check? Where are
my cuts of this? Thank you? That is my voice. But seriously,
you should ask for that girl oneof these days. I'm collecting that's
coming back around. No. I'veliterally joked with Michael all the time about
that. So exciting. Well, this is your first podcast, first podcast.
(01:17):
I was practicing my podcast voice onthe ride over here. I can't
believe you've never done a podcast before. Neither can I honestly, when we
met for the first time, we'vebeen friends, like through Instagram. Yeah,
but I feel like when we metfor the first time, I was
like, girl and I can talk, Like we can talk for a day,
and there's one thing we're gonna do. I's gonna be talking forever anyway.
(01:38):
How are you houselife? I'm good. Life is crazy, it's busy,
it's all over the place, butit's fun. She's she's a traveling
queen right now. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I was
like, it's living out of asuitcase just like I mean, it's just
how you live nowadays. It was. It has been the first thing on
my to do list every single dayfor like three weeks is unpack my suitcase.
(02:01):
I just did it today. Butyeah, I am living out of
a suitcase, like like me,Michael really lives out of a suit But
I feel like I live out ofa suitcase. But it's easier for guys
to live out of a suitcase,I feel like, because they can wear
the same pants with whatever, butlike we can't wear the same pants with
certain shirts. Thank you. Andthe amount of space that shoes take up
(02:23):
well, and like we bonded overthis the first time we met too,
Like we're big feet girlies. Okay, yes, size ten over feet,
they take up space. You needa whole suitcase for your shoes. That's
good to know that you're a sizeten. We can we go back to
your share to share because yeah, like I and I feel like my younger
sister, she's a size eleven.Yeah, and the cute shoes don't go
(02:45):
up to an eleven. It's hardfor big feet gals out there well.
And it's funny because like brands willreach out and they'll be like, hey,
like let's do a partnership, andI'm like, do you sell my
size? Like with my over Shrekfeet, I just gotta. I just
got a really cute pair of Cowboyboots and I was just like, yeah,
missis ten. They were like, great, we'll send them to you.
And I like, I like cackledtrying to put these shoes on.
(03:07):
Yeah, it was about that's theworst. I hate that. But we
are big feet girlies, and we'reboth in sneakers because comfort is life.
But I feel you on the onthe packing situation. It's it's tough.
It is very Oh my god,it's never ending. It's never ending,
and I still no matter what Ibring, it's it's never right. You
don't want to right. You're like, I'm gonna go shopping for whatever I
(03:29):
need to wear tomorrow. I hadto go shopping in Australia. I saw
that there's always something that pops upand you're like, well, didn't know
that was going to happen. Youknow, being a being a female,
it is. It is one ofthe joys of life. I'll tell you
that much. For real. Um, I have to say, missus Hardy
dedicated Woo girl is in your Instagram. I don't know why. I like
(03:50):
never realize that, but it's funnythat you put that in there because anytime
that I've ever talked to anybody thatknows you, they're like nicest human on
the planet Earth. She is thebest hype woman. She is so great.
Like literally, I've never heard abad thing about you. It is
so nice. No, I Ijust laugh because I had never heard that
until I moved to Nashville. Andyou know, I'm totally that girl.
(04:12):
Like when the punky the buses goby, I'm like, yeah, yeah,
I'm not even on the bus andI'm just woo and everyone left and
right, and then they said, like I heard the term woo girl and
I was literally like, that's that'sme, Like that is the best thing
I've ever heard. I know peoplesay it and probably like there's a negative
connotation with them, but I'm like, that is the best thing I've ever
(04:33):
heard, Like that's I have toadopt that and a friendship. Like you
need a woo girl in your circle? You have, for sure, you
have to. They're the best. And it's like you spot and a woo
girl spots another Woo girl totally andit's the best thing ever. Woo girls
for life. Yes, maybe thatwill be my first tattoo. You don't
(04:55):
have any tattoos? Can? Youare married? Arty and you don't know?
Can you believe it? I don'thave any, and I've literally been
I'm like, Okay, this isthe I think. I have a feeling
in the back of my mind thatthis might be the year I get a
tattoo. I wanted to do itat our wedding right because we had a
tattoo artist there, but I wantedto get it like right here, kind
of side boob, and I couldn'twith my drug dress. That's a lot.
(05:17):
So I just I didn't, butI said I was going to.
But woo girl, but good wehey girl, I'm here for it.
No, but seriously, I feellike tattoos. I don't know. I
go in phases like I got acouple when I was like eighteen. Do
you have some? I do?Yeah, They're all kind of like hidden.
The only one you can really seeis like on my arm is like
a little Teddy Bear for my daughterbecause we call her Emma Bear, that
(05:38):
is, and we we got thatfor Mother's Day last year. My husband
Andrew, and we have a matchoone that is Okay, come on,
that's so cute. But tattoos aretake your time figure out what you want,
because girl, friend, that isthere forever. I have this huge
one in my back and I justwish I could wipe it off. No.
I could barely buy a piece offurniture. It takes me like once
(06:00):
to decide on a chair. Iliterally can't imagine a tattoo like watching Michael
decide in the two seconds that ittakes him to get a tattoo and or
which one he's gonna get It literallysends me into outer space, like it's
I don't understand, Yeah I will. Yeah. So maybe this year,
maybe just have to give myself atime or be like, just think what
(06:21):
it was the day this is whenit's happening, Just book it, show
up, woo girl, and mygrandchildren are gonna be like, what is
a woo girl? You're like whatyou're going to be known for forever?
Now, thank you very much.Okay, So I love this um this
podcast. I like to just talkabout the just the backstage of everybody sees
Instagram, right, Yeah, weget to see Instagram and we get to
(06:43):
see what everybody's doing, but likenobody ever gets to see what happens behind
the scenes. And I just loveyou and your story and kind of like
how you and Michael met, likestart from the beginning, tell me,
tell me the story of Callie andMichael. Okay, so, oh my
god, the story is so ridiculousand he like, I don't even think
(07:04):
he told the real story forever becauseit's just like, oh my god,
something blisso modern day but it's allcringey. So I went to Ole Miss
for school. So I was inOxford Mississippi and I was home on winter
break and he deemed me just outof the blue, and from his perspective,
(07:27):
it's really funny. And you know, he was, I guess hunting
with his friend Jake, and hewas in the deer stand and he just
like didn't know what to send me, and he was like, I want
to message this girl. I don'tknow what to say. And his friend
was like, you should just sendher a video of you in the deer
stand, like head totoe camo, like full macho man, country boy drinking
(07:50):
whiskey, just full send it,just full scent, and like, damn
it, that's exactly what it is. So I'm sitting at home and like
I'm all about it, Like I'mall about the country boy vibes. Like
I went to Old miss. Iwas like, I'm Southern, I'm country,
Like give it like I'm diving headfirst. I was so obsessed with
(08:11):
it. Yeah, so I getthis. DM is literally no words,
like he doesn't say anything. It'sjust this video. It's a boomerang and
he's just like I was taking itsome Evan Williams and I was like,
oh my god, like country boy, you know that meme. Yeah,
that was literally me. It waslike country boy, that is amazing.
So we just started like chit chattingsuper cash, you know, like the
(08:33):
Snapchat days where you like send oneSnapchat a week or something, right,
like leave him, leave him, like hang in a little bit, so
stupid. So we just like barelytalked. I don't think I think he
like casually told me, well, this is so funny. When I looked
at his Instagram, I didn't knowwhat he did. I didn't know,
you know boys instagrams, Like hehad like three pictures of a fish up
(08:56):
there. I was just gonna say, it's always a dearer, like holding
it. And he had these picturesof him and FGL, like he had
a bunch of them. Yeah, and you know he's wearing a pass and
they're in different cities. And Iwas like, oh my god, this
guy is an FGL super fan.Like he's buying meet and greets and following
(09:18):
them around. I was like,is this guy like like is he okay?
Like is he obsessed? Like what'sthe deal? Yeah, like okay,
So he's deep in. So Idon't really think much about that.
I think Updown was on the radioat the time. So he, you
know, like mentioned me. He'slike, I write songs, Like what
the hell does that mean? LikeI have no concept of normal? Like
(09:39):
that means normal people don't Like nobodyunderstands that, Like songwriting is a job.
No, Like it's been such aneducation for me, the craziest thing.
So anyway, fast forward, likea month or something goes by and
he was supposed to be out onthe road writing with fgl and Jamison Rodgers
had a show at the Lyrics LittleMusic Venue in Oxford and his friend Hunter
(10:01):
Phelps was opening for him, andit all just kind of worked out.
It was like the perfect storm,I guess. Fall They didn't want to
have writers out anymore that weekend,so he freed up. And then Hunter's
drummer got sick, so they askedMichael to fill in for the Oxford show,
and he obviously came took the gigand he was like, Hey,
(10:22):
I'm gonna be in Oxford. I'mgonna be at this show. Yeah,
And I was like, oh,I'm going, Like I love country music.
I've always loved country music. Soa couple of my friends and I
were going and I was like, yeah, I'll be there. So sure
enough. I go to the showand the first first of first opener,
Michael's sitting there and like I wasthinking, drums, drums, He's sitting
there on a cone like the boxdrow Yeah, Like I didn't even know
(10:46):
what that was. And he's justlike sitting there just like on the box
drop. I'm doing it, yeah, And I was like yes, like
Michael like I'm jumping on the girl. I'm like that's okay. And we
met that night. I just Iran up to the little balcony we met
up, just totally hit it off. I took him to huddle house that
night. That is that's true lovedisgusting, Like honestly, that was so
(11:09):
like that's so me yep, likewe it was just like so just dingy
and gross. We're not going tolike a waffle house or a huddle house
after the bar. I don't wantto be your friend. Oh literally.
He just I was laughing because hejust did Theo's podcast and I don't remember
this, but he said that Iwent with no shoes on, and he
like remembered that, and I waslike, oh my god, it's so
(11:31):
true. Like I was like, that's so on brand for myself. Okay,
but what girl in college isn't takingtheir shoes off and walk around their
foot at the end at two inthe morning. Thank you. One fact
that I have like all my limbsstill after college is just beyond you for
real, I literally and that I'malive. But yeah, so we we
just hit it off. It wasa great love that he was so cool,
(11:52):
like very different from any guide everlike dated or met. So I
was very like, oh what, like what is this? Very intrigued,
and I was twenty. I wasliterally twenty, and I was like,
Hey, I'm gonna do my twentyfirst birthday in Nashville, Like me and
my friends are gonna come up ina month and we'll be there. And
he was like, oh my god, let you know, let me know
(12:13):
when you're there. I'll show youguys around like you're giving us all the
rex. And I was like, okay, I mean you know how that
is. I was like, we'reprobably not going to hang out total when
I'm in Nashville. So we cameup with all my friends and literally he
was with us all weekend. Thatis awesome. It was so cute.
He like came to brunch with us, he got he was playing around at
(12:33):
the Bluebird and he got a friendand I tickets and he didn't think we
were going to come, and weshowed up. His entire family was there,
so like before I knew who theywere. I have like photos,
I took all of us family's photosthat night, Like I have photos from
the Bluebird from that night, which, by the way, I showed up
(12:56):
looking like an actual baby prostitute becauseI was like on Broadway all night and
I don't know what a freaking rider'sround is or the Bluebird, right,
I do from I watched Nashville,so I was like, oh, the
Bluebird, but I literally wearing thislike bandage dress, this leather jacket,
ready to go out. Oh mygod, poor Sarah Hardy. I probably
walked in and she was like,oh, Michael, like this, Oh
(13:18):
my god. It was ridiculous. But yeah, and then after that,
so we hung out that weekend, and then after I was just back at
school and I asked him to mysorority formal. I was like, love
it. I know you're like.I was like, how old was he
at the time, Like twenty nine. I was like, I know you're
old, but like you want togo to the sorority formal and he was
like yeah, sure, so heloved came and then that night he asked
(13:41):
me to be his girlfriend. Sothat's so sweet. He really hung out
like a couple of times, butit was just a no brainer. It's
it's those moments when you know somebodyis like down, when they're like,
oh my god, you know whatI mean, when you're you're in Nashville
and he like clears the schedule andit's like, I'm gonna it's that's amazing,
Oh my god. Like when theysay, you know, like when
you know someone like they will letyou know acts well and they will know
(14:05):
well, and there's like memes andstuff that go around nowadays. That's like,
ladies, if a guy wants tohang out with you, he's gonna
hang out with It's so true. They're not gonna like, oh, maybe
he's just like leaving me on fora couple of days, so I like,
care, No, he doesn't wantto talk to you, Oh my
god. No. And I've I'venever understood that, Like I've never honestly
understood why girls entertain that, LikeI've never It's just so clear to me,
(14:31):
Like no, because think about thetimes you don't go do something,
you don't go because you don't wantto go, right at the end of
the day, you don't want togo do it. And I feel like
that's what's so it's like such atoxic. I don't know everybody's like the
dating world so crazy because like nobodyand like thankfully like we don't have to
deal with it because I've got singlefriends and I'm like, I could never
(14:52):
I think about that all the time, like it's it is insane. It's
insane, Yeah, it really is. It's like what dating out would I
be on now? Like what wouldmy hinge profile? Right am? I
gonna do the voice note thing andI'll I'll like swipe through friends like profiles
with them and I'm like this isso like this just feels weird. And
then the guy will be like, hey girl, what's your name? And
(15:15):
I'm gon do a message? Likewhat is it if I had to receive
voice my moos rowe myself, Idon't even know what I would do.
That is so oh my god,Yeah, find me living at home with
my mom for the rest of mylife because I just would not know.
It's seriously, I can't wrap mymind around it. It's insane. It's
so funny. But no, that'sthe problem is people are used to like
(15:39):
the accessibility of thinking like, oh, I'm just gonna find someone new today.
It's like, no, you findsomeone and then you just make up
your mind and it works and youjust do it. You commit and you
do it. You don't just shoparound every day and be like, oh,
this person's more fun right now.Yeah, so I'm gonna ditch what
I've got going on and like gofind this new person. No, And
(16:00):
that is what I feel like. It's so hard nowadays for so many people,
specifically anybody who's like of status.Right everybody has access quote unquote to
you because they feel like they canjust text you through an app or like
message you or know what your lifeis like because you post about certain things
or whatever. Like friends in theindustry, like the messages that husbands get
(16:22):
or wives get. I'm like, what is happening? And who who thinks
that's okay? Okay? So it'sso funny because I feel like, right
now, I've always and I maybeI didn't knock on wood one day or
something, yeah, but I've alwayssaid and I do feel like this still
if Michael's fans have been so respectfulof our relationship because we've been together this
(16:45):
whole time, so he's never hadlike, ah, like a single artist
phase. Um, and so it'snever you know, been an issue.
Yeah. Um, but I willsay will this year, I've noticed,
I've noticed there's a little uptick,a little uptick and the girlies out there
(17:07):
hold on a little. No,but it's funny. I mean, like
the bras that people throw on stage, Like I like, I'm down with
that, Like I think that's hilarious. Like I'm out there doing the same
thing, you know what I mean, totally so, but but yes,
I can't imagine. And I alwaysyou know, you like joke with your
husband and you're like if I diedtomorrow, like you're gonna get married?
Yeah, you're ever gonna be married? Like no, Like, of course
(17:29):
you're not. You love me foreverand he and he really is like I
don't know what I would do becauseI don't, like, how do you
find someone? Yeah, when you'reonce you've crossed this threshold, once you've
found your person well and when youdon't know, well, if anyone would
ever like you have trust you dojust have trust issues totally, you totally
do. Like, yeah, it'shard not to get kind of jaded,
(17:52):
I guess, yeah, but that'swhy you look at like big actors and
celebrities and you're like, they're theirperspect is so warped, like you have
no concept of really like real relationshipsanymore. It's so sad, well,
and it's funny because everybody's like, why do you famous people only date famous
people? And it's like there's noother option because nobody else understands literally unless
(18:15):
you're like the rider die there fromthe beginning, you don't understand true what
happens when you get to a certainlevel because life is not normal, Oh
my god, no. And theegos like people like people are constant.
You have millions of people everybody likeconstantly feeding your ego and it's like you
have to no wonder actors Mary actorslike you can't. Yeah, it's it's
(18:37):
crazy. It's so wild. Well, and just like the the like life
in general, like there's no timelike I mean, you and Michael met,
you know before he has gone, you know, four hundred days out
of the year, there's not eventhat many days. But you know what
I mean yeah, but it's justlike there's just no time for that,
like no artists at a certain caliberor like once you like you said,
you reach that threshold like your time'is your job. Oh my god.
(19:02):
And even that has been such atransition for us, like in our relationship
because like I like we were bothused to and I was used to before
like before tour, before the crazinessand when you know, we could go
have a fun night on on Broadway, and you just no more, like
(19:22):
no more. I can't go toa country concert with him. I can't
go out on a Friday night toLosers with him, like you know what
I mean, So you have toand then the tour schedule, all of
it. It's such a shift, like in every aspect of your life.
Yeah, but we've totally gotten intoa groove right now, So yeah,
it is. It's a lot,but it's so like it's always changing.
(19:45):
You always got to stay flexible andman well and I out there well.
And I think that the perspective thatyou have is so great on it because
it's like you really do have to. I mean you a specifically, like
did you have a certain career paththat you wanted to take before you met
Michael, and then it like shange, what was your your like original goal?
(20:06):
No yet, And that's actually sothat's so funny you say that.
I was literally talking about this theother day. But yeah, I had
big which and it's not to sayI couldn't still do this post. I
always wanted to be like this biglike event planner, like corporate events,
or do some like cool marketing runof marketing agency or or something like that.
(20:26):
Okay, And I job hopped alot, like just entry level jobs
right when I got out of school. Yeah, in around Nashville, and
they were like crazy, crazy storiesabout that. But then I landed um.
I was doing marketing for Graduate Hotels. Their headquarters now are in Nashville
here with AJ Capital, and Iwas working in marketing and I loved it.
(20:52):
And it just with the schedule.I mean, you're the artist.
Schedule is literally the opposite of anormal person's work week, so like I
like they leave Wednesday at midnight mosttimes, or like Wednesday or Thursday at
midnight, so literally your free weekendis their work week totally. And it
just got so crazy and I waslike I have to pivot and be a
(21:18):
little flexible and like even though youknow the whole social media thing is that
maybe what I saw for myself totally. It just kind of opens up a
door and you just are given theseopportunities and you're like, if it works
for our life, yes, Igotta take it well. And I think
that's I mean, it's in anymarriage, right, like there's there's a
compromise or just you there's just somethingthat that shifts. Like my husband,
(21:41):
my job has always been my thing, Like it's just what I've done since
I left college, and like radiois always my thing. So when we
moved to Nashville, he had adream job, like he was a fire
firefighter. He was working in hishometown like at his like local fire station,
and he was like loving it.And then the second that I got
the call that we were moving inNashville or that I I like lost my
(22:03):
job, he was just like, well, I guess we're moving in Nashville.
And I was just like, areyou okay with that? And he
was just like I knew from thejump, like when I married you,
your career was always going to comebefore mine, and like that sacrifice happens,
and it's like the same way inso many different ways, Like there's
always going to be a sacrifice ora compromise in marriage, and I think
that's what makes them work. Ohthat's so cute. I literally that just
(22:26):
gave me chills. It's so true. And also shout out to our afirement
out there. Shout out to allof our first responders on my dad's afirement.
So shout out to your dad,Ela County Baby. Now, I
so much respect for him for that. But um, I thought respect for
him in both in both aspects, like yes, is so amazing and there's
(22:48):
nothing wrong with that, like givingyour other spouse, Like yeah, you
have to compromise. I'm like that'samazing, and like look at you,
Like it worked out and you're thrivingand that's just your path, that's what
it's meant to be. And like, yeah, like I didn't have anything
set in stone. I wasn't obsessedwith anything I was doing at this time,
so just naturally like yeah, Ihad the space to do it right
(23:11):
and change. And you're having fundoing what you're doing. It's not like
you're rolling over and being like, well, my husband's doing this, you
know. It's like you you're passionateabout what he does, and he's passionate
about you know, you guys inyour marriage. So it's like I just
love when people are honest about that, and I just hate the keyboard warriors
that are like, well, whyaren't women, you know, doing their
own thing? And it's just like, honey, we are, we are,
(23:33):
you know, so stupid, Likepeople can find happiness and purpose in
anything they want to, Like,I don't care if you're you're you don't
even have to be a mom.I don't care if you just want to
sit at home all day and bakeone loaf of bread a week, And
that's like what you feel like youwere put on this planet to do,
like shot out to the banana breadmaker, like do it? I really don't
(23:56):
care, Like who is anyone tosay yes? Like that? You can't
be happy doing whatever it is you'redoing exactly so stupid and there's so much
power it, Like you have noidea what Like the person that you might
someone might think is just sitting athome doing nothing, they are the they
might be the rock of their entirefamily, and you have no idea like
(24:18):
how much they bring to the tableor what they do and it's not just
monetary value, like emotional, spiritual, like you're creating a home whatever it
is. Yeah, that's so important. And your spouse vice versa, maybe
wouldn't be able to accomplish what theyare accomplishing without that other half, yes,
(24:38):
you know, holding it down forthem. So I have no no
problem with like, even if Ijust don't work one day, Like I
really don't care if that's if ifyou feel as long as you feel filled
right and you're good to go,then that's good on you, dude.
You gotta do. And I justlove to like my husband completely like shifted,
(25:00):
Like now he works in the musicbusiness. He runs merchandise for an
artist, right, so you knowwhat I mean. And it's just like
now our worlds have like weirdly combined, you know, And it's just like
same with you guys, Like youguys met and then now you guys are
here and like you get to traveland like be supportive for him. And
it's just like I just love Ijust love relationships, and I just love
(25:21):
marriage. And if you're watching rightnow, get married. It's the best
thing you'll ever do. I lovehearing that though that it's such a it
like totally lights a fire under yourass because you're like yes, like and
some people feel like when you getmarried, you know, it's like nothing
changes, which really, like,I guess nothing does change. But then
there's some people who have told me, like, when you get married,
there is like this internal flip thatyou know, or switch that flips,
(25:44):
and you're like, we're in itfor the long haul, like we are
gonna be there for each other andbe flexible for each other and make changes.
And it's like you just kind ofhave a different mindset when you're like
this is forever, Like I'm notjust gonna yeah, fish and complain and
like get out walk out. Yeah, yeah, you know what I mean.
So it's I love that, Likethat's that is such an important like
(26:04):
mindset to have. It really is. Yeah, And I feel like a
lot of days too, like ora lot of times now, like marriages
are failing left and right. Ohmy god, And I feel like and
I don't, I don't know,you don't you never know the details.
Like with any marriage, it's likethere's a there's his side, there's her
side, there's the truth, andnone of us will ever truly know the
truth. So like whenever people wantto take sides and do that whole thing.
(26:26):
I'm like, I'm always going tobe the neutral vibe over here because
I'm like, you just really neverknow. But marriage is such a powerful
thing and it's just like you makethat commitment. Like love is a choice,
so true. Like people will say, you know, oh, it's
butterflies and rainbows, and like, yeah, you can feel that way sometimes,
(26:47):
but it's not. That's not whatlove is. Love is a choice.
Every single day when you marry someone, you're not saying, oh,
I'm gonna be their best friend everysingle day. You're gonna want to ring
their next Some days you're gonna wannayou know, oh my god, I'll
let them and scream and leave thedoor, leave the house for a couple
of weeks, you know what I'mIt's like any relationship, but it's a
choice to come back. And Ithink one of the best pieces of advice
(27:08):
I've ever gotten. I don't knowwhy I'm going on a marriage ta right
right now. I love it.But somebody was like, you have to
learn in a marriage how to fight, because oh my god, Yeah,
fighting is one of those things whereit's like I say things that I do
not mean when I'm mad, likesome of the things that come out of
my mouth, I'll be like,no, I mean when you're when you're
(27:30):
seeing red, like yeah, youcan't. It's wild when you get to
that level. But there's those timeswhere you're just like I'm oh, this
is over and then you're just likebut you learn how to fight, where
you're like come back and you're likeyou know what I mean, And it's
oh my god, yea such aweird thing, but it's so true though,
Like love is a choice. It'sso no, I'm like totally on
like marriage TikTok. Now, yeah, so I see like all these clips
(27:52):
of like all these men like youknow whatever, but honestly they have such
little golden nuggets and that totally remindedme. Like I saw someone the other
day say, it's not about howyou fight, it's about how you make
up, and like how fast youmake up and why you make up,
and it's really healthy because like youcan't you cannot avoid the arguments and you
can't, you just can't. Soit's like how do you get past it
(28:15):
and how do you get over it? And like what do you do moving
forward after it that that really matterstotally. And I feel like that's so
true. It really is, becauseit's like you know, walking away is
easy, it's coming back that's hard. No, it's it's so true.
And Michael and I always say, like anytime we get into an argument or
(28:36):
a fight or like a really bigfight, we're always reminding ourselves like it's
us together against the problem. It'snot you and I against each other,
right, We're a team. Yeah, and we hit like fighting ruins our
day. Like when we get ina fight, say, we're both like
so sad about it, but it'slike I'm so mad at you, but
like this sucks, like it likeit's funny because it's like you're you're just
(28:57):
like I just want to say sorry. But also I know they don't know
for real, like we hate it. And then like when we like after
we're done arguing, we're like,oh, that was the worst, Like
can we never fight again? Andthen you're like, we're never gonna fight
again. And then two days lateryou're just like somebody doesn't sweep the floor
the right way, and you're like, but it's so true. And also
like for people who think like,oh, like you want to give up
(29:18):
easy. Yeah, all you're doingis trading what annoys you about him for
some nuts for other things that aregoing to annoy you about the other.
It's so true. It's like, find what pet peeves you can live with?
Yeah, and like it's the devilyou know, versus the devil you
don't like, you know what Imean? So true. There's always gonna
(29:41):
be something that uses you all.So true. Like I cannot stand like
my pet peeve. I don't knowif you have one, but oh yo,
my pet peeve is like ice chewingor like crunchy chips, like and
like maybe stop. I think I'mso okay. I have a roommate in
college who was same deal. LikeI think I'm really bad at that because
really literally have to be like I'mgoing to my room like bitch liked,
(30:03):
like you're the out of here.I love chewing on ice well, and
I see and I like chewing onice too, But I don't know.
You can't hear somebody hearing somebody elsejust sound like mouth sounds. I don't
know why it's my thing. Andmaybe it's because I'm in like headphones all
day and I just like hear everythingthat comes out of my mouth. I
don't know that might have something todo with it, I swear because you
(30:23):
you literally like even now I'm hearingevery like you're like everything in Yeah,
I can hear how much of moistureusin my mom tripping me out? It's
so weird. No, but what'syour what's your petpee? What drives you
nuts? Okay, this is sospecific, but like, oh my god,
Michael is so bad, like Iwant to I'm oh my god,
Like I'm literally getting mad just thinkingabout it right now. I can just
(30:45):
see the range in your I canjust oh my god. So I will
get like so excited come home andbe like, oh my god, I
have this new show I want usto watch, like I'm so excited about
it, and I'll talk it upand because I know like what he likes
to watch him what he does, and so I'll really try to talk everything
up and make it be like,oh my god, it's gonna be the
best show ever, like it's sogood, and he's always like no,
like that doesn't sound I don't know, like I'm not I'm not into that,
(31:08):
and he'll be like okay, whatever, Like he'll start that one by
myself. That'll be like my show. And then without fail, without fail,
a week later, he will comehome and he'll be like, Babe,
we have got to watch this newshow that so and so was telling
me about. It sounds so goodand we gotta watch it. And I'm
(31:29):
literally like a four episodes. Iliterally, motherfucker like you. I'm like,
I'm like, you know what,I'm just gonna start telling other people
yea, that I want you towatch this show, and then they can
go tell you because we don't wantto watch the freaking show that I tell
you that we're gonna watch, butyou will watch it when someone else tells
you that, literally, oh mygod. Okay. Andrew does the same
(31:49):
thing, but he'll like watch anepisode with me and he'll be like,
I don't really like this, andso then I'll continue watching it and then
he'll get mad at me. Whyare you watching that show we were watching
together? And like that's our show. You said you hated it? What
are you? What am I supposedto say? Such a romantic betrayal?
He's like, that picks our show? What are you doing? Oh my
gosh, the things in relationships.I'll tell you what we could go for
(32:13):
days. What are you? Whatare you guys watching right now? Um?
So I just finished Love Is Blind. Oh my god, Okay we
started it and it literally I waslike, half, it's so cringey this
season. I okay, I hadPTSD because when I saw Quame at the
pool party, I was like, you're Bartise when I tell you, I've
(32:35):
never if Bartise walked into this roomright now, like jail time for me,
I would She's no, if hesaid you gonna have to go away
in the strap, I feel sopassionately about how much like I cannot them,
so mad at him, I'll forI will forever, like I will
never be able to get past it. I'm sorry, Like I know,
(32:55):
maybe it was an edit something Idon't I literally don't care. Yeah.
So when I saw Quam pull thesame shit, I was like, oh
my god, Like do you notwatch the show? First of all,
I was like, you know thatthey're gonna catch this? Yes, well,
and I'm like, my thing isI'm like over here, like okay,
reasonable, like me trying to figureout this is like how my mind
works. I'm like the like,oh, there has to be a reason
(33:15):
behind it, And I hate myselffor it because I'm like, no,
I love it being a jerk. It's then I'm like, maybe maybe this
is he wants this because he wantspeople. He wants to be the villain,
which wants It's so true, youknow, people want to be villain.
And he's like, I want thefollowers on Instagram. I want people
to talk about me because people aregoing to come through on the comments and
whatever increase the engagement. Like mymind goes there, I'm like, what
(33:38):
motive? He Honestly though, Ithink you're right because I saw something that
he was on in the he waslike in the crowd and I don't watch
ninety Day Fiance or no, sorry, Married at First Yeah, I don't
watch that. But I saw thathe was on an episode of Married at
First Sight as like a um someonein the wedding, and I was like,
(33:59):
no, that's that's where it's it. I was like, he got
in that. They got the littlereality TV bug in his mind. He
saw it and he was like,I can do that. He was like,
I'm a I'm an audition. You'reright, I bet your as well.
And I just feel like I've beenreading a bunch of the comments about
this season two and here we areon a Love is Blind kick. But
seriously, though, everybody in likethere's one real relationship and every other one
is just like, oh man, love nah, it's psych like I can't
(34:22):
wait to leave, and I'm like, what are these why are you on
the show? And they and theydie they're so in love and two days
and I've never met anybody as compassionateas blah blah blah, like I can't,
I literally can't, and no onegets married. And also, um,
if you really want to test ofLove is Blind, why are all
these people normal looking people? I'mlike, you need to I'm saying,
(34:45):
I'm like, you need to reallythrow in some like bust like and it's
like but it's like real though, because we have this conversation too where I'm
like, okay, look like nobody, nobody on the show is not attractive,
like in some way, come on, like are you kidding? I
would be picturing the worst if Iwas standing there waiting for that door to
open, I would be like, okay, like yes, what is my
(35:07):
worst case scenario? Right? Andthat's what I would picture these people.
I would be thrilled if they openedthe door. To any of these people,
like are you kidding me? Andall the girls are like snatched beautiful?
Why no, literally, I'm like, get out of here. Love
is freet blind my ass, likeright exactly, I'm like Vanessa and Nichola
(35:27):
Shay. Can we guys, let'sjust let's just recast. Let's just actually
make this an experiment because at thispoint it's just another reality TV. Oh
my god, so true. Ijust true. I don't know if I
could do it though, Oh my, like right now, like right now,
it would like close your eyes rightnow, Okay, close your eyes
and hear my voice if I wason the other side of the pods,
(35:49):
yeah, all the time on theradio. I just you have a great
voice. No, but it's likejust hearing a voice like you really just
never know. You have no idea, and oh my god, you have
no idea. I wonder what peoplewould sometimes I feel like I can sound
so Valley girl, like so California. I can only imagine what people would
think I look like on the otherlike on the other side, like Callie,
(36:10):
I'm in love with you, willyou marry me? And you're like
on the other like, I justcan't imagine being on this social experiment that's
just being taped for. I couldn'tdo it. And as much as I
would like to say i'd be likesuper honest, I feel like I would
get some competitive edge and be likeI can just say whatever and make whatever
(36:31):
you want to hear. But it'sso true though, because you really can
and you I mean a lot ofthese people they do, they say what
they want to hear, and thenthey get into the real life and they're
like, oh, by the way, you know, I have sixteen thousand
dollars of credit card debt on thisone card, and then I have like
love when they talk about credit carddebt. When they talk about the debt,
I'm like, get into the realshit, like because you have to
(36:52):
talk about that going into marriage andstuff like that. Like finances were the
one thing that me and my husbandwere just like it took us a while
to even just like get a jointbank account. Like we've been married for
three years this year, and I'mlike, we just last year got to
join bank account and it wasn't becausewe didn't want to. Just like it's
a lot of freaking like no,that's a lot of like legistic bills,
(37:13):
already come out of this one likeit's just it's a lot. Oh my
god, I literally I know, and some people never even like everyone does
has their own little secret recipe forin their marriage or whatever. Like I
love hearing about it, though,I'm saying, I want to know what
kind of debt do you have? Why do you have debt? But yeah,
what is your your ugly little apartmentlook like with our doctors all over
the best? Yes, I loveit, just love as blind sponsor us
(37:38):
and serious, we'll come to yournew hosts, but we'll actually make it
real. We would slay the hosting. Oh my goodness. Okay, we
got off on such a lot asblind tangent. But um so when we
go back to like the backstage likeyours and things like that, what is
what is the most challenging part ofbeing married to someone who is as heisa
(38:00):
caliber as Michael. I mean, heck, he literally just got He's the
most nominated for the ACMs this year. Like what that's like a huge feat
in itself. It was finding thatout was so exciting, Like it honestly,
it's so surreal, Like you younever when it comes to awards and
(38:20):
stuff, you just kind of expect, yeah, the least because you just
don't want to get your hopes upor anybody. You know, Yes,
you just are kind of like, okay, you know when he's like,
he's done well, especially in likesongwriting awards, but um, up until
CMT is this year, you know, he hasn't won an artist award if
(38:42):
I'm saying, I mean that's right, I think. Yeah, yeah,
being like honored as an artist asopposed to totally a writer, right,
yes, So I'm so happy forhim that he's finally getting that recognition in
the artist part of his life, and especially for the song like oh my
God. When he came home withthat song, it's everyone has had such
(39:04):
high hopes for it because it's justsuch a powerful song and it's just so
badass, and we were like,if this song can't get the job done,
like what can't? Like you knowwhat I mean? It was,
it's we were so excited about itand he is so and like with Laney,
it was just the perfect combination andshe's so perfect for it, and
(39:25):
it's we're just so when we wokeup this morning, like I haven't even
gotten talk to him today because he'sbeen doing like phoners the Awards. It
was the best news ever. Sowe were so excited about it, just
elated. And I mean, likefrom an industry perspective, like I know
how huge this is, like ifthis is backstage, so we're being completely
transparent, like to be a partof the ACM, like you know,
(39:49):
committee or whatever, like you haveto be a part of this thing.
And I logging in to like fillout my ballots and like you just see
you know, Laney and Hardy. You just you just keep seeing his name
come up, and I'm just like, it's such a cool feeling to see
an artist go from songwriter to saylike, hey, let me let me
try out this artist thing because Imean they're my freaking songs and no,
(40:10):
I'm good at performing, so letme just run with it. And I
mean he's freaking crushing it and it'sjust cool to see that, like,
oh yeah and those It's just it'sa really cool time for you guys.
And it's so like I feel likeit's really different for him too, because
he is he's very like different, you know, he's not necessarily like me.
(40:31):
It's like he's kind of creating hisown genre and he's really unapologetically himself
and he does crazy shit and ifit's not you know, accepted by the
industry, like he doesn't give aflying fuck, like honestly I do that,
And that can be so polarizing, and it's like you never really know
what people are going to think aboutthat, and if they're gonna be like
(40:52):
okay, yeah, like here's someawards, or if they're going to be
totally the whole like radio labels, like there's just a whole like recipe for
like how everything works, and likethat's a whole nother podcast for another day
talking about that. But like Ias on this side of it, I
(41:13):
respect him being like throwing up themiddle fingers saying like this is who I
am and this is what I likeand how I want to sound and like
what I want to do, becausewhy should someone have to, you know,
change themselves to fit the mold. And let me tell you that is
really what he is like behind closeddoors, Like he is who he is
and what he likes he likes, and you are not going to convince him
(41:36):
otherwise. And I love it.Yeah, it's it's I mean, it's
literally it's like one of my favoritethings about him, so yes. But
to answer your question, oh mygod, there's a theme I talk too
much. The hardest thing good. How do you even decide? I think
I think it's just fitting in therest of your life into the the travel
(42:00):
schedule. Like honestly, I thinkyou come home and you're tired and you
want to say no to things. But those things are what's important in making
your life feel well rounded, likefriend time and just doing whatever your hobby
is or like whatever you like todo in your free time, like doing
that. Yeah, but it's reallyfun. It's just a lot of bouncing
(42:22):
around. It can get like Imean, it's just tiring, like just
traveling, and you know all that. Everything has a positive and a negative
to it, totally. I thehis crew is amazing, so that's like
never been an issue. The hangis so great, Like we're around such
(42:43):
great people and we've been so luckyto be on tour like we've been on
tour. He's been on tour withMorgan, yeah, like a trillion times
by now, so it's like weknow all their crew. You guys are
family. Everyone's family. So beingout is not the hard part. I
always it's it's a bittersweet for mebecause when you go on tour, you're
there for like one day maybe too. Yeah, so you get all excited
(43:06):
to go to these cities and thenyou know, you don't really get to
see the city of tour bus inthe venue totally, Like so you can
get that's like my like I alwaysalways like, oh my god, we're
going to Boston or whatever, butyou're like, I'm going to see the
inside of this venue and maybe amall or something. But that's literally totally
totally. But I really I wouldjust say like it is finding the balance
(43:30):
between like the normal everyday things whenyou're back home right not on the road,
and like finding a way to fitthat into your schedule because it's like
you feel like you gotta see yourfriends, you know, you gotta do
normal things, and sometimes it canbe exhausting, and like I have the
privilege of being like I feel likeI've been gone a lot, Like I'm
gonna stay home this weekend totally, which I'm doing this weekend, and I'm
(43:52):
also stoked about it. But hedoesn't get to do that, like don't
get to do that, so andI think that's one of the things that
a lot of people don't realize aboutlike an artist schedule. Like my husband
going through this like working for anartist now, Like he gets in he's
just like, I don't understand howthey like they don't know what city they're
(44:13):
going to tomorrow. They just literallyget on the bus and go to sleep.
They wake up in a new city. Then they've got to go to
this interview or this radio hang orthis whatever, and then this, and
then they got to go to soundcheck, and then they got to go
to the meet and greet and thenlike so even when you're on the road,
you probably don't see him. Ohmy god, if they're twelve hours
of the day. No, Imean, if there's like radio or something
to do, or it's a cityhe hasn't been to in a while and
(44:34):
he's gotta, you know, dowhatever interviews or there's like you never know
what kind of like content they needa film totally, they're out there doing
stuff all day and no, butyou make such a good point, Like
I feel like people always say,oh, the artists are like, oh,
are you friends with a bunch ofartist wives to relate to? And
it's like the crew and the banddoesn't get enough credit or like time in
(44:58):
the limelight, I feel like becauseyeah, they have the same exact schedule
as the artist. So it's likepeople forget, like it's not just the
artist and it's not just their theirimmediate family. It is everyone on tour
has the same schedule as that well, and it's like thank God, like
you have the ability to like goand like spend time with your husband,
(45:19):
but like crew members, I knowhow to leave their wives and girlfriends at
home, their families at home, and a lot of people don't understand.
That's just like the sacrifice that themusic industry makes as a whole is like
I wish that there was just likeawards you could give everybody, because the
stage hands, the production the lightingteam, the merchandise crew, like everybody
(45:40):
who like makes the wheel go around. You know, it's crazy how many
people are involved and you really don'tit is get to see that same like
when I walk back when when Igo back and Michael's about to go on,
or like I'm back there and Morian'sabout to go on, I just
look around at the amount of freakingwires and chords and buttons and people,
(46:04):
and I'm like if I tripped overthis chord like God knows what can happen,
Like, yeah, is something andlike there's a person whose job is
to plug that chord into here, and like there's someone for everything. There's
somebody to drive the buses and thechart, like someone who's just ticket,
someone who's lights, someone who's justsat like and then they're I mean I
can't even I literally don't even knowa fraction of all the jobs that they
(46:29):
have out there. It's insane.Yeah, it's insane. It is amazing.
It is incredible. Like my jawis on the floor every time I
watch, because I'm like, ifyou put a gun into my head,
I would literally not be able todo the first seg like ird's gonna be
plugged into something else though. Itreally is insane, And then it's like
you watch they take it all downput it back up the next day in
(46:50):
a new city. Yeah, it'scrazy. And they work like lightning fast.
It's my thing too, with likethe crew and stuff. It's like
they truly don't get any rest,no, and they are there like they
start in the morning, like theyare up before anyone and then they are
they're there all day. So likeshout out to crew members. Man for
a real shout out to all y'allfor making the world around, big shout
(47:14):
out. Absolutely, dude, thatis that's a backstage little segment for you.
Other. Yeah, there you go. That's not so like glitzy and
glammy, but honestly it's really not. Yeah, it's really not. It's
really not. People think it's supersuper glamorous and super fun um and it
can be when you get to likethe tippy tippy tippy top and you get
to like have these fabulous buses andyou get to you know where there's not
(47:37):
fourteen people on one. But ohmy god. So this year is the
first year that Michael and I havebeen on our own bus. Let's go.
It's crazy and it's it's awesome,but it's also like sad, it's
bitter sweet. But like when Iused to go out on the road,
like I was in a bunk.Yeah, you're twelve other guys. When
(47:57):
people don't understand that, they're like, oh, tour bus life, like
it's so awesome, but you're literallysleeping in a coffin. Oh my god,
you're literally you're literally sleeping in acoffin. And I love a bunk,
Like, I love the bunk,It's so awesome. Are you like
top middle bottom? I'm middle,Okay, I'm middle. I can't climb
up to the top. That's likeway too much for me. And it's
just yeah, I just feel likethe busway is totally weird. But then
(48:22):
if I'm down at the bottom,I feel like I'm actually in a coffin
right, and I'm like, okay, it's vibrating, like, oh my
god, listen, if you've neverever gotten to sleep on a tour bus,
just do it. Just make ithappen or yeah something, if you
can just make it happen because ithas been that lady's if you can hire
by yourself, make the connections gal, oh my gosh, not in that
(48:45):
way. Okay, you know,be a smart but yeah, tour bus
like and it's it is a lotof sacrifice of like your space, you're
oh totally. I mean, it'sit's like imagine going on an RV trip
with your family, like, butit's with it. It's like ten people.
I honestly, oh my god, yeah, it's so And then there's
(49:06):
two bathrooms. You can't blush toiletpaper, and it's like if you have
just stopped, like if you youhave to tell them the driver last River
like houll over, like everyone onthe entire bus knows that you need to
like take a sh but it's sotrue though, it's like both out of
kid okay, no number twos, make sure that don't literally and then you're
just like I found in a coupleof rounds with Andrew, and it's just
(49:29):
that that embarrassing moment where you're liketo no, You're like, I don't
know what you're talking about. I'venever done that in my life. I
don't have to do that Forever GirlsPart Girls Poop. I'm I'm I will
tell you that. Yes, wedo it, Henny It it's like you
have to have like you're no shamewhen you're out there and you're like,
hey, guys, like you're innext gas nation, whip it around like
(49:53):
bats. Oh my gosh. Yeah, I feel like we need to do
like a like a girl girls bustrip like that would be that would be
so fun. What the Woo girlBus. I swear to god, it's
like the party bus, but youjust sleep on it in a bunk the
Woo girls, and then we canwe can you can like you can have
(50:14):
girls like enter to win the contest, to like sleep on the bus for
a day. I'm having like fullvisions right now. Maybe that is what
we were meant to do, starta Woo Girl party bus. Yes,
I would literally be on that thingevery single weekend. It would be my
dream come true. Woo Girl partybus. All right, listen, whoever's
whoever's listening right now, You're notallowed to steal this idea. Okay,
we're getting a straight hard coffee, right, whatever the hell, I already
(50:37):
did all of it, So chillout. Oh my gosh, I free
and love you so much. Thishas been so much fun. We do
have to talk about this though. If there is one thing that you could
change about your life, just onething, oh okay, is there's something
that sticks out that you're like, you know, I wish this could be
different, or I wish that Icould do this again, or I this
(51:01):
is all kind of like kind ofin line with what I feel like I've
said in the podcast, I personallyhave made a goal for myself to find
more things that I love to doand work on doing them more at home.
Because you've always heard, like everyone'salways like, oh, don't let
(51:22):
whatever become your identity, like you'renot just Michael's wife. And it's like
I don't feel like that, yeah, but it's really easy to like I
feel like right now I'm kind ofin this like little slump where I'm like,
what are my hobbies, Like whatdo I like to do? And
I need to just start doing them, like go out and go do them.
So if I'm wanted to change anythingabout my life right now, and
(51:44):
I'm planning on changing it like activelyright now, I'm going to start doing
the things that I love more.Yeah, and who knows, like what
kind of you know, opportunity opportunities. Yeah, yeah, I can just
come from doing that like once youjust align yourself with what you love to
do, and like you're you know, you're doing something you never know like
(52:05):
where that takes you. Well,it's funny because I don't know why,
but like when I moved to Nashville, I've always had such a heart for
like artist wives, Like I don'tknow what it has been. And it's
just like because I know it canbe such an isolating well God bless you
jaw and you know what I mean, not like yah, but it is
and I there's so many people thatI've met here and you're like, by
far not one of them. Butso many people that I've met that are
(52:28):
are artist wives or girlfriends or whateverthat are just lonely and feel like they
live on an island. And I'mlike, it shouldn't be that way.
And I can see how. Imean, that would be very easy.
That would be very, very veryeasy to do. Yeah, because I
mean, I mean it's a weirdthing to do, right, Like nobody
wakes up in the morning. Itis like, you know what I'm gonna
(52:50):
do. I'm gonna marry a countrysinger, and this is what I'm gonna
do for the rest of my life. It literally just happens, right,
you know. For sure, Likemaybe I used to joke about that when
I was like in high school, but here we are. But I'm I
mean, it's even for like actorsor like professional athletes things like that.
It's just like especially the access thatfans and things have to people. For
sure, it can be such alike isolating gig. But I just I
(53:14):
love how open and just You're justa freaking blast. You're just so much
freaking fun And like I said, every you are literally the Nashville Woo girl
like you. I will so proudlywear that, well, I will.
Are you kidding me? That iscaught by days? Is the wou queen?
Okay, all the Woo minions standin line, lady. Honestly,
(53:37):
yes, that's gonna be the newI'll make that the new Michael's fan group
of girls. You have to startyour own merch line. Oh capitalized queen.
Oh my god, No, I'madding that to my adding that to
what I'm gonna do because i wantto do a merch line so bad.
I've been working on it. I'vebeen like ye, creating these ideas.
It's it's happening. It's gonna haveyou got to, you got to.
(53:57):
I'll wear it proudly. Well, well may have yeah, Okay. Um,
to close things out, I havethis little gumball machine and there's just
like random questions in here from peoplethat have been in this room. Oh
my god, Okay, I'm gonnaopen this up. It's supposed to have
like a little gumball thing in it, but we were waiting on things to
(54:20):
come in from Amazon, so letme. It's so cute. Let me
open this up. Also, whatis better than like a good retro gumball
from a gumball machine. You've beensitting in there for like five decades.
That okay, here, Oh mygod, I'm so excited. My god,
I can put some in there. How crazy can you get with those
questions? You can literally ask anywell, you're gonna have to fill some
in there. So he yes, okay, Charlie Reynolds says, what is
(54:45):
your go to Chick fil A?Order? Oh my god, I literally
had this conversation with Michael yesterday.Oh okay, let's see. Let me
tell you something. First of all, I don't know if you got anyone
knows that this exists, but truestory. My family went to Chick fil
A so often in San Diego growingup in high school that the manager pulled
(55:09):
us aside. One name was like, you guys, I don't I don't
know if you are aware of this, but like we can give as a
manager, we can give honorary ravingfan parties. And we were like,
what what is that? She waslike, you guys have been here so
many times, but we're gonna giveyou a raving fan party. And they
closed the restaurant for like a couplehours, one night and let us invite
(55:31):
whoever we wanted, and we allgot free chick Fila. I'm not kidding.
I'm literally not kidding. I don'tknow why. We literally don't know,
but it is true. It happened, and her name was Ali.
I'll never forget, but a ravingChick fil A party will sponsor us,
Yes, And this is she's theone who like helped me find my go
to Chick fil A order. Becauseokay, so it's spicy chicken sandwich meal,
(55:54):
no butter on the bun. Okay, because it literally taste the exact
same. You cannot tell a difference, and your hands don't get all greasy
and buttery smart so nice, andit's like, you know what I lost?
Calorie fifty Yeah, you're saving rightthere, totally extra pickles. And
then for my drink, I geteither a diet lemonade or a diet Doctor
(56:15):
Pepper diedactor Pepper from Chick Filate iselite. Diet Doctor Pepper is so good,
Like I don't even like soda thatmuch. Oh my god, Diet
doctor Pepper. I could, Andhave you had the cream soda? Yes,
Oh my god, that thing islike gold. If I find that
in Kroger, I will stack upmy cart and so it's gone, Oh
my gosh, she's buying it out, y'all. Wow, what a good
(56:36):
question everyone needs to have. Andyou know what, everyone's significant others should
know their chick filate order by heartone very important. And we I was
just talking to somebody about this too, that when you have like meal options,
you're like, hey, what doyou want for dinner tonight? Like
chick fil A is always in thetop three, is never not good.
And they're the ice dream literally,so oh my god, oh my god.
(56:58):
I just they have a new summerlemon aid, the minty watermelon min
the mint watermelon. So good,so good. All right, we're gonna
get out of here and go tochicklo gonna die, doctor Pepper and some
some waffle fries. What a goodquestion, Callie. It's so good to
see you. Thank you for lettingme pop your podcast, Cherry if you
will, Oh my god, no, I'm so we did it. I
(57:19):
want to just do this for likehours. I don't know how you even
wrap this up. I would youjust don't want to tangent forever. We'll
we'll reconvene here in a couple ofmonths, we'll have you back on and
we'll talk other things. I'm sure, I'm I'm open always, I'm always
open for you. A so like, should I should I just end with
this? Yeah? That's right.Should I just end with this? I'm
walking for time, I'm walking out. I love you, it's so good
to see you. Oh my gosh, that's something
