THE BLOCK CHURCH

Every church should have the same overarching mission (make disciples), but every church may have a different way (or place) of transporting that particular mission. We call the values and language of an organization, its culture. Culture is the vehicle in which we transport this specific mission. Today and through this series, I want you to understand what you’re a part of, what our MISSION is, and the values that make us unique. 

Your journey with God will take you places you never dreamed and give you opportunities you don’t deserve, power you could never have imagined. All of this through the leading and immersion of the Holy Spirit. BUT you have to be willing to GO ALL THE WAY IN!

It’s very clear and obvious you have a Father in heaven who made you in His image, knows you, loves you, and longs for a relationship with you. If we really stop and observe His characteristics in His Word, you’ll realize that He is a GOOD and AVAILABLE Father at all times.

In life, you will be surrounded by doubters, haters, and faith-stealers. When God does something great IN YOU, don’t be afraid to testify, and even separate yourself from the drama. Give God glory and carry on!

How does one taste and see that the Lord is good? How might a family walk upright before the Lord to experience His goodness? We must immerse ourselves in God’s ways, His laws, and His love. There is a recipe, will you mix it together to taste and see the goodness of the Lord?!

It’s not cliche, it’s not blowing smoke, and it’s not lip service. There is always hope with Jesus in the mix, even when all seems lost … especially when all seems lost. Believe in Jesus, obey, and walk in that hope!

The greatest miracle is that Jesus loved us so much that while we were sinners, He died for us and then raised from the dead so that we can rise from the dead too. Through Him, we have eternal and abundant life.

Sometimes God calls us to take action and it takes time to realize His purpose. Faithfulness in the same direction over a long period of time produces fruit, results, and victory … It’s just that, sometimes, good things take time. God’s promises take time.

To win, you need need to learn to win at all phases - offense, defense, special teams … In your spiritual walk, you’ve got to leverage all the weapons in your arsenal — prayer, hearing, praise, attack. You don’t have to let the enemy win, there’s more on your side than theirs.
