This podcast series is a review and discussion of case studies from the seminal, two volume, massive work known as “Phantasms of the Living” published in 1886 by the Society for Psychical Research in England. The Society was made up both skeptics and believers in the paranormal and conducted research into various areas in an attempt to prove whether such phenomenae were real or not.

At last, Season 1 comes to a close with "Cases Received Too Late for Insertion in Their Proper Places”, which covers, as the title suggests, late entries which did not get codified before the Phantasms of the Living book was published. What we are going to do in this episode is take a break from the "Phantasms of the Living" case studies so we can delve into Hereward Carrington’s "Phantasms of the Dead".
