Mental health is just as large of a factor in a zookeeper's day as animal care is.  

Zookeeping is a glorious career, full of very passionate people but that passion does sometimes mean that mental health can take a backseat.  GRAZE (Growing Resiliency for Aquarium and Zoo Employees) joins us on this episode to talk about the incredible work they do! 

Meet Manda, our zoo's general curator.  Manda has a long history at the zoo, and as general curator has some really big tasks including teaching Trinna different skills including animal transportations.  

As you can imagine, zoo animals are not always gentle to their habitats and night houses.  So, our incredible maintenance team at the zoo works really hard to fix, build and improve our grounds and animal areas.  Meet Gary in this pocast as we chat about his work here at the zoo. **Warning, there is one moment where there is loud static from the microphone about 1-2minutes in**

One of our hosts, Emily, was able to travel to Borneo to work with our zoo's conservation partner the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation.  She was able to work with their sunbears and orangutans at their facility.  Check out this episode to learn about the trip! 

National Zookeeper Week!!
