Sober Not Mature

This week we have some Phat Action with Mike and Bill. That sounds inappropriate and maybe it is.

Mike started off with his reading and it was about higher powers, and egos and allowing things to happen. But also doing the work. It was a good reading and a good conversation.

We did a wrap up of last weekend in Cleveland, talked about Tennessee and Bill Clinton. What? Yes, Bill Clinton.

This week we are in Cleveland! It's our anniversary weekend extravaganza. And... we had some technology issues, so hang in with us.

The funny part is that Mike's reading was about control. And lack of control. We had that with the recording and we have had that in life.

Then it was a book wrap up, the journey verses the destination, technology and recovery, things that make us better, The Steps, being hopeless and some rand...

Yay! It's us again! Yep, Mike and Bill and we got through an entire episode with no "real" technology issues.

Mike started off with a reading about old behavior. Blaming others, denial and just being people that we don't want to be today. It was a great conversation.

He also did a recap of the Keating Center event from last weekend and we talked about the easiest way to give back in early sobriety, or at any time.

This week we are all fired up and ready to roll! Ok, maybe not fired up. But we filled some time.

Mike started out with his reading and it was about love. Kind of touchy feely, I suppose, but it was a good topic and a good conversation.

Then we talked about the eclipse. Mike saw more than I did, but it was definitely an event.

Looking for the third door, traveling stories, being grateful for your problems, pain as a defect, relapse...
