The feeding of the 4,000 reminds us that God doesn’t just meet us at the beginning, He meets us when we have to bring something again. This message is for people who are tired of starting over, who feel like last year drained them, or who wonder if they still have anything left to give. It reminds us that Jesus doesn’t tire of meeting our “not enough.”

This week focuses on what happens when we bring Jesus our shaky faith that doesn’t feel enough. Immediately after feeding the 5,000, Jesus sends his disciples out on a boat to ponder what just happened and to give them another faith-building opportunity. It’s here that we see one of the more famous (or infamous) moments from Peter’s life…his attempt to walk on water with Jesus. It’s in this moment that we learn an important lesson ...
We kick off the year by confronting the pressure to be more by hearing Jesus’ invitation to bring what you have. In the feeding of the 5,000, a boy brings a simple lunch, the disciples bring limited faith, and the crowds bring real hunger…and Jesus goes to work. This message is for those who need a reminder that God works with what we bring, not with what we wish we had.

...Love is the core feature of the real Christmas story, and if you think about it, it's also what clearly drove St. Nick to do what he did. He is a legendary figure around the world for a reason, but it's important to remember that there was something inside him that went far beyond simple gifts. The real St. Nick had experienced the love of a creator who said, "I choose you, and I love you." The legend of St. Nick is built on that s...
The joy of the Christmas season is palpable right now. People are still enjoying the Christmas music, finishing up their decorations and plans, and everything is in full festive mode. Jolly Old St. Nick has joy plastered all over his face…which is everywhere. But what was the secret sauce of his joy? What did he really love to do and why? What can we learn from him that he seems to have learned from Jesus?
St. Nick understood the gift of peace that Jesus offered by coming to earth. He would bring peace to people on an individual level, but he also provides peace with our creator, God. Christmas is a season of giving, but it can easily turn into a season of consumerism and debt-laden choices that bring stress and anxiety. However, St. Nick understood that by meeting the needs of poor children, he could alleviate some of their anxiety ...
Have you wondered how St. Nick is connected to the real Christmas story? Have you ever found yourself trying to share the true meaning of Christmas but getting angry or getting drawn into an argument instead? Listen to this podcast, where we'll introduce a model from Scripture for sharing the real story of Christmas in a natural, humble, and clear way.

This week, we’re shifting the conversation around money from guilt to gratitude. In today's podcast, we kick off a brand-new series, #GratefulGiver. Now, talking about money and generosity can be awkward, especially in church. But let’s be honest, if you stop and think about the messaging around money in our culture, what better place to talk about money than church? Too often, rather than listening to God, who loves us, we let Amazon, Amex, and TikTok finance bros shape our views on money and how to manage it…...

Loyalty is important to all of us. We want close friends and family to be loyal to us, don’t we? What happens when they aren’t? We feel betrayed, right? Or what about sports fans?
