and Lynn Russo, who owns Daffodil's Gift Shop in the
East Dale Shopping Complex. You're here to talk about their

Speaker 2 (00:41):
We are welcoming a couple guests back into the studio.
Uncle Mike, take a look, Jen Foley, say hello to
Uncle Mike, who's in our production studio. Helloly wait way
through the glass.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
Good morning, Uncle Mike.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
And joining us with Jen Foley this Morning is Lynn Vara.
Help me on the last name. You would think I'd
be able to say that, but I failed. I failed
Italian in high school. Long story and Lynn Vera Varusso
excuse me. Lyn Varusso is the proprietor of Daffodil's gift

(01:15):
shop over at east Dale Village, And as all my
listeners know, and Jen Foley is the is the owner
of Donut Dolly. I can't tell you how many times
I go there every weekend. Sometimes sometimes it's Saturday and Sunday.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Lenn, We're gonna try to give you a fair shot here.
He is enamored with the Donut Dolly.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
So it's going to be home, Isn't everybody? Isn't everybody
enamored with donut Dollies. Although I will tell you this,
I had a donut the other day, the coconut.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
Yeah, the frosted coconut.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
The frosted coconut. Not my favorite? Oh, not my favorite.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
Do you like coconut?

Speaker 2 (01:54):
I do? I do? But other people said, ed, you're crazy.
This is the best known I've ever had.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
So like the coconut, you do?

Speaker 2 (02:00):
I didn't. I didn't care for it.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
What did it you like about it?

Speaker 2 (02:03):
You know? I thought it was a little too sweet.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
That's it. You're cut off, but I'm not.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
I'm not cut off.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
Other's Okay.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Every other donut I've had there is terrific. So anyway, listen,
I am glad you guys are in studio. We're gonna
take a little bit of a break right now. When
we come back, we're gonna be talking about some of
the things that Eastdale Village is currently doing, and we're
gonna be talking specifically about an event going on in
February that I want our listeners to hear about. So
stick around, folks, are gonna have a great interview with

(02:33):
these lovely ladies, and we'll talk more about donuts on
the way back to this is at Kowalski will be
right back. We are rejoined on this Tuesday morning with

(02:54):
Jin Foley, Uh, my favorite store owner over at Eastdale
Village who runs Dolly, and she has brought with her
Lynn Varusso, who is the proprietor of Daffodil's Gift Shop,
another terrific store over in Eastdale Village. Well, let's begin
with you talk to us about Daffodils. Tell us what
you're doing over there. Now, you were there three years,

(03:16):
and prior to that, you're over in the Pleasant Valley area.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
That's right.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
I started out in Pleasant Valley, right, and then when
I saw the opportunity to make a move into Eastdale Village,
I got very excited about the things that were going
on over there and made the move and took over
a building and we ended up moving the entire business.
So we sell a lot of specialty baby clothing, women's accessories,

(03:39):
gifts for every occasion. The hottest thing right now though
for us as Jellycat yep, and that's really a very
hot item for college kids, grown ups, children.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
It fits the whole gamut.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Now, you know, waf Air, I was telling you one
of the reasons one of the things I like about
your store is that, you know, it's almost custom gift
if you will, I mean, you know, you're looking to
be able, you're visiting somebody, you want to be able
to get a nice gift. You know, you go in
there and you just sort of shop and say this,
really it makes you it's a thinking person's store to

(04:12):
be able to go in and get a nice gift
that's well thought out, well prepared, quality is terrific, gift
wrapped beautifully and it's just it really is a great store.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
Oh thank you. I like that.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
It's a thinking it's a thinking person's gift and it's
just I mean, the store is beautiful too. It is
definitely something special. It is definitely something special and I
noticed the last couple of times that I was there.
I mean, traffic is picked up over in Easdale Village
and I I almost think, Jan as you and I
were speaking, it's now gotten to the point where it
now feels like it's a little village and the concept

(04:46):
of it is just really wonderful and so far that.
You know, got the apartments there, You've got Premiere Urology
in the in the centerpiece there, which is that big
medical practice. They got all your little stores and it's
fun just to walk around and on Friday nights in
Eastdale Village at least during the summer, is a lot
of things going on. Yeah. So anyway, so tell us
a little bit about what's happening now in February. We're

(05:08):
talking about as an Eastdale event coming up, which is
the first annual paint the town Red Cupids Crawl.

Speaker 3 (05:17):
Isn't it adorable? So all of the owners, all of
the business owners of east Dale came together and collaborated
on this Valentine's Date event that is going to be
on not actually Valentine's Day, but it's going to be
Saturday of February eighth, and it's going to take place

(05:38):
all day because we have businesses that open up early,
like mine at eight am, and then you know, it
goes throughout the day into the evening because we have
you know, beautiful restaurants there as well. And each store
is hosting a special where we're all holding our own

(05:58):
individual raffles where we're raffling off gift cards. My store
is doing a gift card and a donut bouquet.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
Now, Mike, did you hear that? A donut bouquet?

Speaker 3 (06:13):
You can eat the bouquet.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
Did you hear that, Mike, you can eat the bouquet,
the bouquet. I think I'll be doing that, Mike, this
is this Valentine's Day. Wow, that's great. Jen, I'm sorry
finished the finish up.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
Yes, you're gonna have to stay for the whole show
because he's shot now I won't get anything more. He's
gonna be thinking about the bouquet.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
So, yeah, we have a lot of Like I said,
every store is hosting something, and you know, we're all
putting these special matching red hearts in our windows to show,
you know, customers that are walking through town that we're
you know, we're having something special.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
Come in and see us all participating. Businesses will be
offering something fun and Valentine Valentine Day themed and we're.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
Going to go through what a lot of the stores
are doing. But so your listeners know, they can go
to Eastale dot Easdale Village dot com and the events
page is right there and it shows every business and
the specials that they're holding that day.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
Now, some of these businesses that are going to be
participating or obviously my favorite establishment don A Tali Crafted Cup,
Amanda's Macaroon Shop, just a little pie shop. I haven't
been there, just I have to try that place out.

Speaker 4 (07:30):
I have Heart Shape Pies.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
Heart Shape Pies, Chakra Bowls, Elementary Rossing and sons that
it's a big anchor over there. Bun Burger's Toro Asian Fusion,
which I think has got the best sushi in the county.
I love the sushi there. And barber you and then
of course there's some services that are being that are
offered over there. Hair Driven, which is I guess a
men's barber shop, and I go in there all the time.

(07:52):
I haven't I haven't gotten I haven't made appointment yet.
Think of my haircut. I think I'm going to try
that Hudson Valley Nails, Joe Lee Esthetics and Wellness, Sky
Studios and Live Inspired Art Dance Stories, and then Freddy
Bee's Clothing Boutique. Boy, this is a tremendous, tremendous event

(08:12):
and all of these businesses to participate, that's a wonderful thing.

Speaker 3 (08:15):
Yeah, it's been fun.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
Great.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
It's the first time we've actually done this where we are.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
Have you put this together? Jen? Are you the person
who's been coordinating that?

Speaker 3 (08:23):
No, I'm not. Beth the owner from Freddie b Boutique
has brought us all together and has kind of like,
you know, all right, how can we promote this event?
You know, how can we get the word out? And
I was like, well, I'm gonna call Ed because.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
He he'll do anything for a donut.

Speaker 3 (08:43):
He loves me, he loves the store. Let's go on
his show. I do.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
And so so the developer is a very good friend
of the show. And I think we should suggest that
he builds a little in there and you could just
spend the whole weekend there.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
It looks like I would love to do that.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
I think there's other people that it can become a destination.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
You know what. And during the summer.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
Residency Eddie still, you know.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
And during the summer and get a lawn chair and
I could sit on the right and on the on
the grass outside of the men's barber shop and just
it's just sun, you know.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
So for you, why don't you move there?

Speaker 2 (09:16):
I you know what, I haven't seen any of the
apartments over there. I would love to be able to
take it.

Speaker 3 (09:20):
Like I've heard that they're very nice, and I hear
that take care of everything for you.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
And you know the interesting thing, I said this to
you the last time you were on When I was
at your store, I decided to maybe go and pick
up my weekend donut order, and I said, well, I'm
going to have a donut now and a couple of coffee.
As I'm sitting there, and I noticed that there's a
lot of young people coming in on the weekends. There's
a lot of young people who are now renting over
there and living there.

Speaker 1 (09:42):
What have I told you about that? What everybody looks
young to us at this point.

Speaker 2 (09:45):
That's true, that's true.

Speaker 1 (09:47):
But he seems like it seems like there's more and
more young people.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
Well but I'll tell you though, Mike, I might I
might go to Hair Driven, which is the barber shop
over there, and I might say I want an Elvis
Presley Jet black hair dye just to be able to
just tell eyebrows And look at this, my eyebrows are
turning gray. They're gonna have to fix it for me.
And I bet you they can. I bet you they can.

Speaker 1 (10:08):
Be sure there's something they can just for men.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
There you go, there you go, so anyway, so tell
us and now now the other thing too. Additionally, there's
gonna be in store events that are going on there.
Freddie bees Gallant's event Bring a friend and enjoy store
wide specials, and Champagne Sky Studio is having a Gals Night,

(10:31):
a Gals Night from six to nine with flash shells, music,
food vendors and cocktails. Lily's Natural Pet Store has a
selfie station for you and your furry friend to capture
the perfect Valentine. Let me tell you something, Let me
tell you something when I when when when Jenny is
visiting and Toby is over, Okay, Toby likes taking car

(10:55):
rides and we always and we go to we go
to East Tale Village. I'm getting donuts to loves going
into Lily's and they love Toby in there, and Toby
likes the salmon treats that they sell there. I watch
him when he comes over, you know, and they're really
nice people there. From that perspective, The Blue Olive will

(11:16):
have special guests on hand, including a in store pop
up Dino's Daily Bread serving homemade bread.

Speaker 3 (11:23):
Oh it's so goodness. Oh they're olive, oils and vinegars.
They're delicious.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
And then Hudson Valley Floral make your own Valentine's themed
flower arrangement. Come for the day, stay for dinner, experience.
All that is e stale. That's a wonderful, wonderful expression.

Speaker 1 (11:44):
You know. It's interesting and I'm curious two of you
are business people in that village. It's it's really amazing
the mix that they've put in there of retailers. It
really is well done. Everybody who's there, every retail like
the two of you, our top notch at what they do,
and they've really blended it together well. From what you're

(12:06):
telling me, Jen, how this is all got put together.
Everybody is kind of playing off of each other and
working with each other and really generating a lot of
business for everybody, you know what I mean. Sometimes you
get in a retail situation where there's one mammoth store,
one big store that draws, and the rest of them
just kind of get the table scraps. And this is situation.

(12:27):
You're all at the top of your game and you're
all thriving, but you're all working together to make sure
each other thrives. I think that's fantastic.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
Isn't that true? Isn't that true? And as I said,
I mean, every time I visit there, you know there's
something new that I find. It's something. I mean, I've
wandered through Lynn's store, which is Daffodil's gift shop, which
is just so much fun. And of course I'm always
at Gen's store, who's got the best staff in the
donut world ever. I mean, I just love going in

(12:55):
there and talking to our employees and they advise me
in terms of what I should do. Although I will
tell you this, you know, you really need to get
there early on the weekends because if you start getting
in there towards the afternoon on Saturday, a lot of
you are a lot of your your your wares are
gone because people just buy them go nuts.

Speaker 3 (13:15):
Yeah, we really have to start the trends of how
people's shop have changed, and in my store where they
sometimes they were sitting around all day and now now
they're being sold out so early. So that's up to
me to start ramping up production.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
Let's do this, ladies, if we can. Let's take a
quick break. I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you're talking
about this event. I want to talk to you about
your individual businesses. Thank you, Mike. I was asleep at
the switch there. I was like, I was talking to
our guests and studio. I was dreaming about Boston Cream Donuts,

(13:58):
Apple Fritter's, two of my favorite over there as well, Jane.
Everyone saw and that's just my personal preference. I'm so sorry.
I didn't mean to insult you in saying I didn't
like the coconut and I didn't like the cook but
my guests, you do offer so many options. And there
is another donut that I saw over there. It was
it was about six inches tall. I forget what it was.

(14:18):
It looked like it had some sort of a cream
cheese filling in the middle of it. What is that
donut called?

Speaker 3 (14:23):
We call that our strawberries and cream milk donut. And
it's filled with a whipped cream filling and then it's
like has chopped up strawberries inside.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
You know, I get that it was unbelievable, but I
looked at it. I said, oh my gosh, do you
have a special box that you need to be able
to give people?

Speaker 3 (14:42):
Yeah, we put in a special box.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
Do you really know a special box?

Speaker 1 (14:48):
On the on the Facebook page? Do you have pictures
of the donuts? I'm wondering because I like to be
able to describe these. These are many cakes, is what
they are.

Speaker 2 (14:58):
There's no question the Boston Cream, the Boston Cream donn
is a mini cake. That's how Jeff described it when
he had it in the studio. He's still talking about it.

Speaker 3 (15:06):
You know, we have a website. I put pictures of
everything up.

Speaker 1 (15:10):
What's what's the website?

Speaker 3 (15:11):
It's the Donut Dolly dot com.

Speaker 2 (15:13):
Wow and Lynn, Now Daffodils has a website too. Can
you tell our listeners what the Daffodils gift shop website is.

Speaker 4 (15:20):
It's Daffodil's gift Shop dot com. And that's two p's
in an e within shop s h o.

Speaker 2 (15:26):
Ppe Daffodils Giftshop dot com. Terrific, terrific. You know, one
of the things that we were talking about off air
in terms of the feel of east Dale Village now,
you know, we were speaking about how people who grew
up in this area remembered Main Street when Main Street
had a variety of stores and people would spend Saturday

(15:48):
afternoons shopping Main Street, you know, walking back up and forth,
seeing all of the small businesses. Lucky Plats obviously was
a big, big, big department store there, so they would go,
they'd walk all the way through and so on and
so forth. And people who grew up in Poughkeepsie still
talk about that in terms of what the the main
street feel was like. And over the years, you know,

(16:11):
various city governments have tried to, you know, restore some
of that and think about what needed to be done.
And there's been a lot of businesses that have gone
out and on Main Street and and and you know,
you have you have you have Brazi Air the restaurant
over there, which is a nice place, and you're seeing
a lot of different attempts to revitalize that. But Eastdale
Village sort of has that feel in terms of what

(16:32):
you have now in terms of your business jen your business,
you know, and when you go to Eastdale Village and
walk around, you have the ability of being able to
just sort of almost remember what it was like being
able to just stroll Main Street and go from these
small businesses, the small businesses, the small business it's a
great feel. You guys feel that too, don't you.

Speaker 4 (16:52):
Absolutely it's it's definitely has a good vibe. Yeah, it
really is, and you can you can do. I remember
back when I was younger, you know, we had stores
like TV Dashery or the olive drab little boutiques, and
that's where you shopped.

Speaker 1 (17:06):
And that's where you went for your clothes.

Speaker 3 (17:07):
That's where you know you're just in.

Speaker 4 (17:09):
Eastdale Village is the same type of thing. I just
think the days of the mall are done. I don't know,
just in my opinion. People want the experience and Eastdale
Village definitely gives you the experience, especially you know, the
different things that each store will do and offer, the events.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
That we hold.

Speaker 4 (17:29):
It's a place to come and bring your family and enjoy.

Speaker 2 (17:33):
I totally agree with.

Speaker 4 (17:34):
That community community feel.

Speaker 2 (17:36):
I like even going on a Saturday during the summers,
going on a Saturday morning, you know, getting my donut
and cup of coffee or whatever I'm doing sitting there
talking to the people who are coming in and out.
It's a nice feel. I mean it really is.

Speaker 4 (17:48):
And the kids are on the green, the kids came
out there doing cartwheels or playing cornhole. It's just it's
fun for everyone.

Speaker 2 (17:55):
It totally is It totally is has business. I mean
from your Pleasant Valley location to where you are now,
do you see a difference in terms of your traffic
and your business sales.

Speaker 4 (18:06):
I do, specifically because of the foot traffic that you
have in Sale village. Yes, But fortunately I was able
to keep my customers from Pleasant Valley because I've got
a lot of them that came from Stanford and Millbrook
in the different areas, and so I'm only three miles
down the road. But it feels like a different world
in some aspects because you do have a community. You
have it's a little town, right, There's so much to

(18:29):
do you can come and spend the day. It's a destination.

Speaker 2 (18:34):
Really, it really is. It really is. Again, Can we
just run down again, Jen? What this Eastdale event is?
This first annual Paint the Town Red Cupids Crawl. Just
walk us through that one more time.

Speaker 3 (18:46):
So on January, I'm sorry. On Saturday, February eighth, East
Dale is holding our first annual Paint the Town Red
Cupids Crawl event. All the businesses are parts of the painting.
From morning up until night, each store is offering their
own special event, sales, raffles and yeah, it's it's going

(19:15):
to be great. And you could also head to the
website at East Eastdale Village dot com and it's listed
every every business is listed there and the specials that
they're holding.

Speaker 2 (19:29):
It really is amazing. Now is this your February menu
that's coming up?

Speaker 3 (19:32):
Oh my goodness, Yes, that's yours. That is top secret.
I can't believe you just saw this, Mike.

Speaker 2 (19:41):
I've got the February donut specials coming up. I'll tell
you what. Let's let's let's at the next segment.

Speaker 3 (19:47):
We should read it.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
Just what we're going to after the seven thirty segment
I had seven thirty break. Rather, we're going to come back.
We're gonna talk about Gen's February donut specials because some
of them look really really good.

Speaker 3 (20:00):
If you do, that's so funny.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
Away from well, she's got it here, she brought in
the top secret.

Speaker 3 (20:06):
Donut list it wasn't supposed to be in your copy.

Speaker 2 (20:09):
So there you go.

Speaker 3 (20:10):
That's funny.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
See, this is the kind of journalistic integrity we bring
to w k I P Mike. We've got the we've
got the top secret donut list, and we're here at
seven thirty one, folks. We're going to reveal it from
the donut for this, for the door, for the no
no sour croutchuice with the donuts this morning. This is
a wonderful I think, I think the work and when

(20:30):
we take a break, ladies will come back. This is
a terrific, terrific event, and and it's so nice to
be able to talk to it. As Charlie North has said,
what is the Charlie North expression? Charlie Online, did you
know it? Do you know what? Hang on? Lin know?
Do it? Do it?

Speaker 4 (20:50):
Think local first?

Speaker 3 (20:51):
Yes, that's it.

Speaker 2 (20:53):
There you go.

Speaker 3 (20:54):
That's great.

Speaker 2 (20:55):
We're going to have to get a recording of Lynn
doing that and we'll put her in Charlie North back
to back. Charlie says that in his sleep, there's no
question about it. Unbelievable, unbelievable. This is going to be
so much fun in terms of what's going on and
it's so nice to see the business owners collaborate in
this way to be able to make our community even better,
to have so much fun, to go out, spend money

(21:17):
and just have so much fun. I love going into this.
There are times that I walk into Lily's Natural Pet Store.
Sometimes I buy stuff. Sometimes I don't buy stuff, but
I walk in there and the owners there say, hey,
has Toby tried this? I'm like, no, get me the
giant bone. I'm gonna bring it home. So we're gonna
get that square away. We'll be right back. We'll be
right back. You're listening to Hudson Valley this Morning with

(21:38):
Ed Kowalski. Stick around, folks. We have a lot of
more fun to be able to talk to our guests today.
We'll be right back. Good morning from US Radio fourteen
fifteen thirteen seventy at ninety eighty five WKIV Dad Hudson
Valley This Morning with Ed Kowalski.

Speaker 3 (21:57):
You're listening to Hudson Valley this morning.

Speaker 2 (21:59):
John.

Speaker 4 (22:01):
When you shop and when you dine, and even when
you shop online, think local first.

Speaker 5 (22:07):
Holy Cow, it's really good.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
Yeah, my god, I think I should watch out from
my job here Lynn. Holy Cow. Charlie Nor nice job.

Speaker 3 (22:19):
That is great.

Speaker 2 (22:20):
Nice job. I think we get a recording of that too.
Before you guys leave, tell us a little bit and
in the last couple of minutes that we have here,
Lynn just talk a little bit about the other merchants
over there putting this event together, the collaboration that you've expressed,
some of the things being and I'm so appreciative for
you guys to come in and talk about this because

(22:40):
I think it is so important to promote local businesses
that are that are community minded, community focused, and it's
so much fun doing what I do, basically having you
guys in.

Speaker 1 (22:51):
Oh, thank you.

Speaker 4 (22:53):
Well, it's surprising that there are so many people that
still are unfamiliar with these sale village. I hear that
a lot of times from customers will say, I've never
been here.

Speaker 3 (23:01):
I had no idea. This is unbelievable.

Speaker 4 (23:03):
So it's really important for our community and what we
did as business owners to create an event where we
do invite people in and we show them that this
is a great place. We offer a fun experience, and
not just the Cupids Crawl that we have going on
on the eighth, but there are events all throughout the season,

(23:25):
which can always be found at Esdale Village dot com.
Just click on the events tab and you'll be able
to stay you know, current and up to date. But
we're happy to welcome in new people and it's just
a great community and we're happy to be a part
of it.

Speaker 1 (23:40):
You know, it's interesting that if you could have heard
what was going on when that community was proposed, in
the opposition to having that built there initially, and to
hear that what has happened now and it's a destination
not only for the people in Pleasant Valley, but for
all of Dutchess County. I think it's amazing that in

(24:01):
the division the developer had and he stuck with it.
And uh, you know, kertsch Off is the he's a
good friend of ours and he he he really has
put this together and he continues to add to it.
It amazes me how every day there seems to be
like something new being added on there. And everyone I've
talked to that lives there loves living there. It's a

(24:22):
great community. So you know, hats off to him for
his vision and and to the the all of the
business people like yourselves who have made this happen.

Speaker 3 (24:32):
Oh, thank you.

Speaker 2 (24:33):
And it's nice, Uncle Mike, to be able to recognize
that it's fun to be able to bring back the
feel of of of you know, village shopping, you know,
being able to have a destination place to remember what
main Street was like when you had little merchants all
over there, as opposed to right instead of going to
a big box mall to get all of these kinds

(24:54):
of things which really became very impersonal and so on
and so forth.

Speaker 1 (24:58):
So this event on the eighth is called the q
if It's Crawl.

Speaker 3 (25:01):
Yes, it's called Paint the Town Red. It's the Cupid's Crawl.
Each business is participating and holding raffles and sales and
fun items and gifts. And I also wanted to add something.
I hear a lot from people that shop in that
area or are hesitant to shop in the areas. They

(25:23):
don't know where to park, and sometimes traffic is sometimes
fast moving and people feel like they can't stop. There's
tons of parking on both sides of the village. You know,
you can turn right, you could turn left into the
village and there's parking behind the buildings. You park your

(25:43):
car and you get out and then you just walk
around from there. So there's plenty of parking for people.
I just want to let I've never had a problem.

Speaker 2 (25:51):
I've never had a problem. Once you find, once you
realize where it is, you take a right, you take
a left. That's parking behind your shop, Daffodil's Gift Shop.
There's tons of parking behind your shop, and so it's there.
It's not a big deal.

Speaker 3 (26:02):
It's not a big deal. But I think for people
who are driving by and sometimes driving fast and feel
like they can't stop, at least they know, Okay, that's
where I go. I just have to you have to
plan to turn at that at that that light that
they that they have there.

Speaker 1 (26:18):
So I'm thinking that the growlers that the refillery are
going to be very important if it's a cupid's crawl.

Speaker 2 (26:24):
See what I did there. They are, they are delicious,
and they are it's a wonderful place to get craft
growler beer. It's just it's a fun place. And you
know what they end up doing the refillery, it's all
sustainable stuff. I mean, you get your little grocery bag.
It's sort of it's I felt like a European when
I was shopping there. I really did.

Speaker 3 (26:44):
Yeah, when I when I'm in there, I see customers
bring in. They have these giant bags filled with all
of their jars, right and they just refill their jars
and you.

Speaker 2 (26:54):
Could even get like shampoo there, laundry detergent. It's so
much fun. It is so I can't wait for Rebecca
to come on in and talk to her about it.

Speaker 1 (27:02):
Really great, So Jen, really important, we got to go
out here. But really important. Are those February donuts available
now or it's going to be February before they're available.

Speaker 3 (27:10):
