ADLEY and THE ORIOLES WALK OFF in the 9th Inning and send the Blue Jays packing!

It's another walkoff? How many ofwe had this year, now do
we know? I don't know theexact number, but they keep it exciting.
It's like they went from last year. They've siwn it from last year

the edge of oursity. I wantto say this is the eleventh walkoff.
I think it is tenth or eleven. Yeah, so I'm taking your word
for it. Yeah, for anybodywho missed, Amy Jennings from Masson is
here. So Adlee hit a tworun homer bottom of the ninth. It
was looking like who knew what wasgoing to happen? Right, Yeah,

exactly. I Well, for yougoing to talk about like a little bit
too early about MVPs, we're talkingabout Adlie Rutchman. I mean, he's
just tearing the cover off the ballright now. But I love small ball.
And in that situation after I don'tknow if you watched the game,
but in the eighth there was thisbizarre situation where they had runners in the
corners, won out two strikes andJames McCann lays down a bun It was

kind of bizarre. Wasn't really asqueeze. I don't know it was.
It was really bizarre. They gotout at home. It just I don't
know what was going on in thatsituation. But then in the ninth you
have a runner on first ADLEI Ruschmandis the plate. I'm like, okay,
bun him over, bun um over, like, put him in scoring
position. I love small ball.And then every time I say that,

it's like I put a like areverse hex on the orioles, which maybe
is a good thing. And AdliRetchmond comes up with that homer there.
I mean, that was awesome,so exciting, but you just you never
know what's gonna happen with this team. Well, the one thing you can
count on is home runs. Didn'tWestburg have a home or two? Or

is that he did? Yeah?He had a Yeah, his first at
bat leading off, his first timeleading off, he had a home run
against Kakuoch, which is exciting becausehe was pretty dominant in this game.
So that's that's exciting for him.I think I think he's the best hitter
on this team right now. AdleyRushman, of course is great, but

Jordan Westbrook seems like he's kind ofleading this offense right now, so that
was really exciting. And they dojust like you just said, they kind
of live and die by the homerun ball. Ye. It's kind of
like the Boston Pelopics, how theylive and die by the three. The
Orioles live and die by the longball. And it came up clutch in
the ninth inning, but after havingtheir only run off of the whole solo

home run by Jordan Westbrook, youwere like, ah, like, you're
gonna have to do something to getsome runs across the plate here, and
it ends up being a home runthat wins it for them. But it
works sometimes in this game, itworks and sometimes it doesn't. And you
were a little bit nervous in theninth inning that this was going to be
one of those days where they couldn'tproduce any runs and they die by the
long ball. Right. I'm justlooking. I just pulled up while you

were talking the the current MLB homerun records or you know where we're at.
Kyle Tucker from the Astros has thirteen. I think these stats might be
before the game today for the gametoday. Yeah, because Gunner's at twelve
still, so yeah, so Gunner'sat twelve. I'm just looking down real

quick. Adley is that was Adleieat nine before the game today? Yeah,
I think at I think at ninebefore the game today, they're probably
yeah, they're probably not upde sowe'll probably do it like at the end
of the day. Yeah. Wellanyway, so Adley's at ten now,
that's amazing, and he's just beyondGunner at twelve. So yeah, they

Adley Rushman looks great at the plateright now, which we knew he was
going to. But it just proveslike what a leader it is he is
on this team. And I wasa little bit nervous at the beginning of
this year. It seems like he'snot throwing runners out. You can run
on Adley and his arms a littlebit. I'm a little bit nervous behind
the plate. But he goes upto the plate right and you know,

hits walk offs like that, andit just proves that he can be such
a leader on this team and whyhe's so dominant really across the league,
and if you're talking about MVPs rightnow, he's right at the top of
the list in the American League.I'm with you on that. So what's
next now? Were we split theseason or this series? I should say
with Toronto with the rainout? Theywere saying with the rain out, this

did count as a whole series.I was listening to the radio this morning
and they were saying that was thatwas going to be a whole series,
and I was like, well,they lose tonight, does that count as
their first s weep since May oftwenty twenty two. So I'm glad we
didn't have to cross that bridge.I still don't think it counts as it's
only two games and technically it wassupposed to be three. But whatever.

So we'll deal with that game inJune and then they have an off day
tomorrow, which is good because theycounted on a lot of innings from the
bullpen today. Kyle Bradish made mea little bit nervous. Only four innings.
His seemed like he got to afull count on so many batters he
faced. It might be a record. I have to go back and look,
but it seemed like we were atfull count again and again and again.

(05:09):
His pitchcown got up early and that'sfine. Be careful with him coming
back from a UCL injury, butI feel like he just couldn't locate.
They only got I think four hitsoff of him, but it just seemed
like he couldn't really locate today.So that makes me a little bit nervous
coming off of the UCL injury.Only his third start on the year,
So we'll have to see over thenext few days what we hear out of

that and when he goes out tomake his next start. But we'll take
it for what it is. Thebullpen did enough to get by today,
so it's a good good thing.We had to use a lot of guys
today, a smarts off day.We'll we'll deal with the Mariners when they
