Speaker 1 (00:23):
I just saw this this new ad that jelly Roll
is in where he has sold his forehead to Amazon
Web Services. I don't know if you've seen the new
Aws tattoo that he had on his head in the
in the in the ad, but I just wondered, you know,
because you do have tats, would you ever be willing
to sell a tat on your face? On Tyler Hubbard's face.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
On my face? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (00:48):
And how much would that cost?

Speaker 2 (00:50):
And I don't know, I don't know. I probably wouldn't,
but it had maybe I would if it was a
cool tattoo.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
That's so you would go for a face tattoo?

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Maybe does Nick Camp I'll probably do neck tattoo for sure. Faith.
That's pretty much like that's pretty hardcore.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Yeah, that is that's bald. Yeah, that's pretty bold. Hey,
so if.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
He's gonna do Amazon, he's gonna have to do the
others as well. So I'll.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
Well, the secret is I just use as sharpie myself
and they do come off, so it's night.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Well I could I could loan some real estate for
a sharpie.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Yeah, exactly, I think that would be That would be
a great ad to see Tyler Hubbard with a face tattoo,
you know, with a sharpie tat Hey, you are very busy, brother,
so I got to get right to it. You're gonna
be touring with the Strong World Tour, and I'm excited
because look how these dates are gonna mesh. You're gonna
be at the Fillmore and Silver Spring, Maryland on November

(01:46):
the ninth, and then just a couple of weeks later.
The CMA Awards are in November twentieth, right, so we're
gonna get you right before you You're up for Album
of the Year. I've already put my vote in, so
I vote for you for album. I voted for single.
That's okay, right, you don't mind?

Speaker 2 (02:04):
Oh I love it? Thanks, Michael.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Yeah, back then, right now, that should be up for
Single of the Year. And Music Video of the Year.
I'm down with that and male vocalist I am tired
of the same guys in there every year. This year
it's Tyler Hubbard's year.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Are you Let's go?

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Are you ready to God?

Speaker 2 (02:21):
Here is Michael? I'm ready?

Speaker 1 (02:22):
Well, dude, you've done very very well as a solo artist,
following up an incredible you know, career for a long
time with that other guy, and uh and I think
it's about time you deserve all these So good luck
at the CMA Awards. You're You're already hitting a home
run with back Then right now. That song's huge. Park
is the new single. What can you tell me about

(02:44):
those two cuts that I don't already know?

Speaker 2 (02:48):
Well, good question, man, I'd say, Park is you probably
know this, but it's just a fun, up tempo jam
that's really been going over great live and feels like
I can't wait to hear it on the radio, you know.
So I'm excited about that one creeping up the charts,
Excited for all the support and thank y'all for adding
that one. And yeah, back Then Again was my third

(03:09):
single and went to number one thanks to you guys,
and it just keeps growing on the road. You know,
it's been fun to really see the momentum carry over
to the live show, the fans reaction, and you can
just tell they're connecting with it. And I love the heart.
I love the heart behind that song, you know, the
simplicity and just getting back to that life from time
to time feels good. So I probably didn't tain anything.
You don't know, but that's kind of a little, a

(03:31):
little tidbit.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
That's cool now. I mean, there's a bunch of great
songs on this album. For anybody who's not already downloaded
the Strong album, I don't know what is wrong with you.
There might must be an issue with with anybody who
has not bought this album, because it's really good. You
have a bunch of great tracks. American Mellencamp I really like.
I love Vegas, you know, I love summer talking. I mean,

(03:54):
is there are there If you had a chance to
pick any other song that's got to be a single
after Park, what would it be?

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Ooh, maybe.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
That's a great song to follow up.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Yeah, be a good follow up from Park, But uh yeah,
we'll see. Man. Thank you for saying all that. I'm
excited about that album really poured a lot of heart
into it, and uh, you're really proud of it. So
I hope the fans are enjoying it, and uh, hopefully
they're coming out and singing these things live with me.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Hey, Tyler Hubbard, the one thing I think everybody needs
to know about you that they might not is that
you write all of your songs. You're not one of
these guys that just goes in, you know, and sings
other people's songs. What else should fans know about you
that they might not know at this point?

Speaker 2 (04:39):
Oh? Wow, good question. What do they not know about
me that they should know? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Well would you? I mean, what do you want everybody
to know about you?

Speaker 2 (04:51):
That?

Speaker 1 (04:52):
Do you ever? You think? And I wish everybody knew
this or that or I don't know.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Man, I'm pretty open. I'm a pretty open book, so
I pretty much tell everybody anything. I'll tell you what.
Here's a fun fact I don't know most people know.
I love the country and grew up in the country,
but I really love the mountains now. I'm a really,
really fond of being in the mountains in that lifestyle
quite a bit. So that's kind of a random fact.
But I don't know why that just popped into my head.
Maybe I'm thinking about being in the mountains.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
When when you think about the mountains, is it wintertime
or summertime?

Speaker 2 (05:22):
It's both. Man, I love the summer in the mountains
and I love the winter. I feel connected to God,
I feel you know, small, and I feel you know,
just close to just that being out in nature. I
just I just kind of love it. So it kind
of feeds my soul.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
I just saw a special over the weekend for Iceland
and if you ever get a chance, go check out
the mountains in Iceland. And and final, I know we
got to go. But the final thing I want to
say is you have got hats. You're selling custom hats.
You want to you want to pimp them real quick?

Speaker 2 (05:56):
Why not? Why not? Yeah, I just started a line
of hats called hub Caps, and yeah, I'm excited about it.
You know, I've worn caps my whole life, and now
to get to kind of like design my own and
put them out into the world has been a lot
of fun. So the first first line I hat sold out,
so we're about to drop the second line. And yeah,
it was just excited about just something fun to do

(06:16):
and something that I can be proud of and something
I can wear and share with the world.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
So all right, very cool. We'll see you on tour
with the Strong World Tour. Tyler Hubbard, thank you for
the time.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
Thanks Michael, have a great day man, see you soon.
