Speaker 1 (00:00):
Night for the first time, so the twenty eighteen Mohawk
enters a contested sole postsession the first place in the
N ten and at twenty eighteen, Mohawk won the INN
ten title. This year, Mohawk made a huge statement in
the first week of conference play when the Warriors dominated
previously undefeated Colonel Crawford thirty five to seven. Then in
(00:22):
the second week of conference place and the Keast defeated
a three time ranting champion Carrie Blue Devils. Then last week,
the fourth week of conference play with Seneca used to
Mohawk in a first place tie. Mohawk came through with
a thirty one to thirteen win at Winford, but Sineca
East fell at home to Colonel Crawford twenty one to
two twenty That resulted in Mohawk being the only team
(00:45):
remaining undefeated within conference play unless alone in first place,
but staying there won't be easy, especially with Upper Sandusky
in town, and the Rams have been steadily improving, as
they were coming off their highest scoring game of the
season at a fifty six to twelve win versus Buce
Cyrus and looking at the Mountain in warm ups, they
(01:07):
seem very spirited, very confident, ready to get things there, rocking.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
And they're rolling.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
And when you think about coach Russell Hall, that's what
he is looking for is bring that passion, bring that excitement,
bring that physicality to certainly use your mind and do
as he always says, you're what eleven.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
Do your job, trust in your teammates, and you'll put.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
Yourselves in the best position for sub success. So as
they continue with some of the pregame festivities for a homecoming,
we're going to take a short break. We'll come back

High school football magic in ninety five nine. Back here
in Sycamore, Mohawk. We'res getting ready to take on the

Vent Reality help you find the keys to your next
home for Upper Sandusky.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
We're going with pressure Bogner.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
Ohawk's Ben Bogner has developed into the intense, top touchdown
passing quarterback. He has twenty through seven weeks and only
one interception, and if the Rams are unable to speed
him up or flush him out of the pocket, Bogner
will pick the defensive part in finding teammates downfield. He's
also adept at running the ball himself. Bogner must be
(04:52):
accounting for at all times. He also plays on defense
for the Rams in the secondary. As for Mohawk and
Brace physicality, Gohawk's playmakers have shown signs of finishing runs
through contact and with force, and that approach will be
necessary versus an aggressive defensive front, including the intens top
(05:13):
tackler and inside linebacker Ethan Lewis along with his brother
outside linebacker Nathan Lewis, the team's number two tackler, so
Mohawk will need to maintain the physicality throughout the game
to overcome the hard hitting rams as. Right now, we
get the Marching Band for Mohawk, led by Lindsey Horne.
(05:39):
Except a wonderful atmosphere and it's a beautiful night, just
an absolutely gorgeous night, looking at about seventy three degrees
for the moment. Yeah, so there got a lot of
things going on. They're working through that with the band
all yeah. Yet they're looking back and say, okay, what
(06:02):
are we doing at this point? Obviously we've got the
homecoming festivities, so much going on, and they're like, yeah,
the thumbs up. Can we move forward with the next
And yes, they are about to do just that. So oh,
very good, very good. Love listening to the Mohawk of
(06:23):

the Warriors raid to host the Umber Sandusky Rams on
homecoming night with Jim. I'm Kurt, so glad to hev

Nickoling and me and Miller will turn over the range.
Speaker 2 (09:30):
So now we will give you our.
Speaker 1 (09:32):
Starting lineups, presented by the Pillar. Credit to Union. First
for the Mohawk offense. A couple of starters out of
the lineup for the Warriors tonight. The quarterback Ben Bogner,
he is still in there. And then got the running
back Caden Bish. But Caleb Bish he is out of
the lineup tonight, and yes, obviously hoping that he'll be
(09:54):
back ready for the next game, but uh yeah, it's
all the information that we really have it this time
is that he has not available to play the night.
So obviously we wish the best for Caleb, and he's
done a great job for his team this season. So yeah,
we'll see the senior back hopefully next week, but not
in the game tonight. We're not even quite sure who
(10:16):
will be the replacement of receiver for him. Could be
brand Carrion, could be Holden Parker, a number of players
Mason Ship he plans to start as usual along with
Drew Woodland. Now Kane Hayman he is also out of
the lineup. He has an injury. The plan is for
him to return to lineup next week, but he is
in jeans tonight. He's loosening up a bit, but not
(10:40):
in Pad's not going to play in this game. We
do have the tight end and in Klaus who is
starting as usual and on the line. The guards to
Logan Hemminger and Rexton Jenkins. The tackles are Brady Kaufman
and Garrett Reinhart, and the center is Eli Chevalier. As
for the Mohawk d as we continue with our Pillar
(11:00):
Credit Union starters. The defensive vends Logan Hemminger and Baxton Raftburn.
The tackles Barady kauf Bitt and Eli Sheffalier. Linebackers Owen Patrizi,
Garrett Reinhart and Raxton Frish who's in the middle. In
the secondary, the corners are Mason Schimp and Hayden Parker
and the place of Caine Haymond in The safeties are
Ben Bogner and we'll have to see who the other
(11:24):
safety is because in normally it is Caleb bish but
he is not playing in this game, so yeah, we
do not have that information as of yet. As for
the upper sent Dusky Rams, they're starters. There's in about
the Pillar Credit Union quarterback Justin Holman, running.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
Back Ethan Lewis.
Speaker 1 (11:39):
Receivers Caleb Francis, Max Martinez, Josh Howberd. The tight end
is Brody Cox. On the line, the guards Owen Malzer
and Mason Schaeffer. The tackles Hayes, Schuster and Derek Barr.
In the center is being Taylor. As for the Upper
Sandusky defense, on the line, the defensive ends Owen Malser
and Mason and Schaefer, the nose guard kle Vince, outside
(12:03):
line Beckers and Nathan Lewis and Brody Cox in sideline Beckers,
Ethan Lewis and Brex and Remmer in the second area.
Of the corners are Peyton Bossley and the Max Martinez
and the safeties Caleb Francis and the Zekiel bolt Within.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
Finally, looking at the special teams.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
We know for Mohawk the kickers Brant Kerion, Punter and
and Klous the primary returners on PATREESI and Drew Woodland,
and they said the case tonight without Cad Bisch and
Caine Hayman in the lineup. And for Upper Sandusky special
teams the kicker is Cody bigel Cheese, punter Josh Hommon
(12:41):
and the primary returners are Caleb Francis and the Zekiel Baltwag.
So there you go are starting line up tonight, presented
by the Pillar Coronati Una.
Speaker 16 (12:53):
All right, Kirk, they should be able to check out
some homecoming pictures.
Speaker 2 (12:57):
Got most of the cars going by tonight.
Speaker 16 (13:00):
We're getting them sent from the field as well as
they're bringing the homecoming court across the field with the
band on either side. So very very good pageantry tonight
and always a fun thing to come to a team's homecoming,
and tonight looking for a great contest. These Mohawk Warriors,
as you mentioned, first place in the league, but Upper
(13:23):
Sandusky is up and coming and they've had some success recently,
so they are two and two in the conference and
they would just love to spoil this homecoming for the
Mohawk Warriors tonight.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
So looking forward to a great contest.
Speaker 16 (13:39):
And as you mentioned, Ben Bogner, one of the league leaders,
seventy eight for one to twenty three with this passing
sixty three percent for thirteen twenty one yards, twenty touchdowns,
and then he's also added five more with his legs,
so twenty five touchdowns for one player on a team obviously,
that's enemy enemy number one. If you're Upper Sandusky, they're
(14:02):
gonna have to find some way to at least slow
him down.
Speaker 2 (14:06):
If they can't stop him then, Also, as you mentioned.
Speaker 16 (14:10):
A couple of key players out in the rushing area
Caine Hayman uh, the one of their leading receivers and rusher,
and then you said Kate and Fish. So we'll just
have to take a look and see if it ends
up being and in Kloud so in Patrezi he's been
(14:32):
getting some more work lately, maybe Braxton Fish or or
Fish rather or Elias Magalanus uh. And then ret Leath's
even had some carries for this squad, so he might
be a running back by committee tonight. But we'll just
have to wait and see what the final outcome is.
I'm gonna snap a couple more pictures here and then
(14:52):
we can go over a few more things on the
Upper Sandusky side of them all.
Speaker 1 (14:57):
It sounds good, Uh, you know, we will, Uh, we'll
just take a short break. And one of the things
I'd like to talk about situation with the playoffs as
these teams getting ready for that. Uh, you know, we're
Week eight, so we're at the doorsteps. So we'll uh
fill you in on what that playoff picture is looking
like up to this point as we get set for
(15:18):
the start of this game. It is Mohawk hosting first
Head Dusky on Mattic ninety five nine and I our radio.

Speaker 7 (18:17):
So homecoming royalty, mister Fish and this Ogg.
Speaker 1 (18:23):
Congratulations ha Yes, Caleb Bins and Caitlyn Ogg, the homecoming
King and Queen for Mohawk, Oh which is so wonderfully
done here. They know how to do it. They've got
a lot of experience with it. And yes, Nick Goling
(18:44):
and me and Miller, they did a great job serving
as King and Queen this past year and now they
turn it over to Caleb Bish and Caitlin Agg. Congratulations
of them both homecoming King and Queen here at Mohawks.
So the Mohawk Warriors getting ready to take on the
Upper Said Dusky or Rams tonight. Always a great matchup
(19:07):
and we definitely want to look at how the teams
are faring as far as the playoff picture goes. Man.
We know that Mohawk is in a competitive region twenty
sixth and Division seven. The Warriors again this week appear
in the sixth position seven to oh Columbus Grove has
the top spot in that region falla by seven and
(19:27):
oh Eden Upper Said Dusky is in Division four Region
fourteen and the Rams again this week are in the
twenty first position. They'll have to find a way to
climb pass a few schools as we will allow the
Alma Montera to play here at Mohawk.
Speaker 17 (20:11):
H m hmm.
Speaker 1 (20:50):
I'm a matter here that don't Old Hawk High School
we do expect the national anthem to be played immediately after.
Speaker 20 (20:58):
Ladies and gentlemen live a great country with freedoms like
no other. If you are able, please stand for the
playing of our national anthem, the Star Spangled Banner under
the direction of mister.
Speaker 7 (21:11):
David Ardour.
Speaker 1 (22:26):
National a FOP here at the Mollhawk High School. The
Warriors I need to take on the Upper Sand Dusky ReBs.
And we were talking just a moment ago about the
computer rankings Mohawk in that region twenty sixth and Division
seventh period sixth. Again, I present Dusky and Division four
Region fourteen rams in the twenty first position, So they're
(22:48):
going to have to climb past Wassion Sheffield Bellevue, Oberlin
Belleville as well to reach that sixteenth and final pull
a off spot. We know that six and one Sand
Dusky Park he is the top teenth in that division,
followed by seven to O Ontario and seven to and
oh show me by the way, now Carrie looking at
more intent team to Division sixth Region twenty two this week.
(23:11):
The Blue Devil's in the sixteenth and final playoff position.
That's up the mainteenth last week in twentieth the week before,
so the Blue Devil's definitely going in the right direction.
Sinica East in the same region twenty two this week
in the eleventh position. The top team in that region
is seven to zero Hope Well Louted, followed by seven
(23:32):
to oh Belovedon. Colonel Crawford is in Division six and
Region twenty three, and the Eagles this week propped one
spot to ninth. Winford is in the same region twenty three.
There was no movement for the Royals this week, remaining
in the twenty third position. Bugh Cyrus also in that
region twenty three. This week, the Redmond are in the
twenty seventh position. The top team in that region is
(23:54):
seven to oh Grandview Heights, followed by seven to oh
North Bowe and finally in Division seven to Reach of
twenty five Buck guys for this week fell to eighteenth.
Last week, the Bucks were holding on to the sixteenth
and final playoff position. Still a time to move back up,
but based on the current order, we'll need to leak frog.
Fairport Harding and Lucas Western Reserve at Berlin Center has
(24:17):
the top ranked team in that division with a six
and one record.
Speaker 16 (24:22):
Right Man, taking a look at some of your end
ten individual leaders in passing. We've got the number two
and number three quarterbacks here tonight, Nicholas Parks leading the
conference with fifteen hundred and forty yards altogether. But Ben Bogner,
as you mentioned, he leads the conference in touchdowns with
twenty just and he is in second place with twelve
(24:44):
hundred one yards, justin Heilman eight hundred and thirty four
yards passing on seventy three of one to twenty five
and right about fifty nine percent passing. So then your
top rushers in the conference and Eli Steen leading the
way at eight hundred and twenty seven yards from Carrie
and then looking down Ethan Lewis one had four hundred
(25:09):
and forty five yards and a five yard per carry
average for Upper Sandusky and he is currently in seventh
place in the conference in rushing, Ben Bogner right behind
him four hundred thirty two yards and eighth place. And
then taking a look down a little bit further, cat Fish,
(25:29):
as you mentioned he will not be playing tonight, but
for Mohawk he is one of the leading rushers, just
a few spots behind Ben Bogner. So receiving wise, Caine Hayman,
another one out for Mohawk tonight six hundred and fifty
six yards. He's in second place in the conference. Taylor
(25:49):
Young leading the way from Seneca East seven hundred and
forty two yards and also Taylor Young leading in touchdowns
with ten.
Speaker 2 (25:59):
Little asterisk Caine.
Speaker 16 (26:00):
Hayman, he has not played the last couple of weeks.
Speaker 2 (26:03):
The same kind of thing happened to him last year.
Speaker 16 (26:06):
He played first five games and then was not able
to continue after that. Caleb bish for Mohawk eighteen receptions,
two hundred ninety one yards, he's averaging sixteen point two
yards per pass reception. And then Upper Sandusky right behind
Caleb Bish if the numbers six and seven spots, Caleb
(26:27):
Francis with thirty two receptions three hundred forty five yards,
six touchdowns, Max Martinez seventeen receptions two hundred forty six
yards and a nice fourteen and a half yard per
catch average, So a real.
Speaker 1 (26:40):
Nice job there.
Speaker 16 (26:41):
And of course Ethan Lewis leading everyone in the defensive
side of thing in tackles ninety three tackles on the season.
And just to give you some perspective there, Hayden Butcher
Forbue Cyrus has seventy five. The third place player is
from Carrie thirty tackles behind him Mace Puckett sixty three.
Nothing wrong with those numbers, but it just shows you
(27:03):
just what a outstanding the defensive athlete Ethan Lewis is
with those ninety three tackles, So real good things on
tap for you tonight. Braxton Rimmer from Upper Sandusky, he's
got forty six tackles and he is also on the
leader board there. Nathan Lewis from Upper Sandusky as well
(27:23):
with forty three tackles and Brody Cox with forty.
Speaker 2 (27:27):
So we'll just have to wait and see how things
develop tonight.
Speaker 16 (27:32):
But definitely Upper Sandusky I think, is a team that
they have been improving each and every week of this season.
And then Mohawk, we've known pretty much from the get
go they were going to be a force to contend
with this season and they have done nothing to disprove
that as.
Speaker 1 (27:50):
The season has gone on.
Speaker 16 (27:51):
So looking forward to a great contest tonight.
Speaker 1 (27:54):
Kirk certainly him as well. So let's get this thing, Roland.
The game for the high school football season is the
level of October where in Sycamore, where the Mohawk Warriors
are ready to take on the visiting Uppershead Dusky Rams.
Rams have arrived at the record of three and four,
coming off a dominant fifty six to twelve victory over
(28:14):
bue Cyrus at home. The Mohawk players are in this
contest in our home field in Sycamore with a record
of six and one, coming off a thirty one thirteen
to win and to win for both teams are members
of the North Third ten Athletic Conference. Mohawk is in
first place. Upper Sandusky is two games back and the
fifth as we have three teams tied for second in
Senega East, Kerrey and Colonel Crawford. Thus, at Mohawk falls tonight,
(28:39):
at least one of those second place teams will rejoin
Mohawk at the top of the standings. Mohawk's head coaches
Eric Daniel in his sixth season, and the APEC for
Uper Sandusky is Russell Hole in his seventh. The Upper
Sandusky players dressed in their road white uniform design with
warrange and black. The Mohawk players wearing their home black
unis featuring red and white. Last season's meeting, up Per
(29:04):
Sandusky beat Mohawk at home thirty nine thirty four. The
most recently completed meeting between these two programs here at
Warrior Field was two seasons ago. Mohawk won that game.
Twenty eight to seven. Players are out there on the field.
We're getting ready to get the show on the road.
(29:25):
Game time temperature looking at seventy three degrees. Is practicing.
Fish sets the ball on the tee at the forty
yard line for the Mohawk Warriors who will be kicking
off back.
Speaker 7 (29:36):
Team for the Rams. Max Martinez kicking off for the Warriors.
Speaker 1 (29:43):
There you go, Frish so on, Patresey on special teams,
clapping his hands. He's always pumped up and ready to
go as Fished on the approach, swinging through it the
right foot, and we are underway and this ball gets
past both of them heading back towards the end zone.
Speaker 4 (30:01):
Picked them.
Speaker 1 (30:02):
Oh my god, he babbles if he gets hit at
the last moment and wow. So got very fortunate there
on that play. Uh, the Brailean Shepherd, that was close.
Speaker 16 (30:14):
So yeah, I'm really not sure on that officials call there.
The receiver was on both knees, touched the ball around
the one yard line. It kind of dribbled back towards
the end zone. So I guess they determined he did
not have control and very fortunate, as you mentioned, to
(30:34):
be getting the ball first and ten from their own
twenty yard line rather than inside there too, ye.
Speaker 2 (30:40):
Had a touch back.
Speaker 1 (30:40):
Yeah, if he didn't touch the ball prior to it
crossing the goal line, then that's the right call. But
if he touched it first, and that's uh, that.
Speaker 21 (30:48):
Is not the way.
Speaker 10 (30:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (30:49):
I think here we go as the high snap, the
helman going to the right side, that's on Lebron and
then we get a tackle in a flag maybe a
game of a yard, but we have the pilty flag
immediates hold. It is on the ramps.
Speaker 2 (31:03):
Dan Ken is a referee giving the signals tonight.
Speaker 16 (31:09):
Yep, they're gonna mark them back from the twenty one,
it looks like, so it'll be second and I mean out.
They're gonna put it right from the twenty type chick,
so it'll be second or first and twenty rather from
the ten yard line. So first play goes for not
just a holding call. So Upper Sandusky turning off behind
the chains already.
Speaker 1 (31:29):
There say twenty ten yard line. The center has Ben Taylor,
the quarterback Justin Hollman has the snapshotgun goes to the
left side and it is caught with a little bit
of running room Martinez. It gets across the twenty and
still here at the twenty five yard line. So Max
Martinez showing some speed right there, trying to catch things
up there. Good play, get to the twenty four yard live,
(31:51):
so it'll be six yards ago for a first down.
Speaker 16 (31:56):
Yeah, real nice job out there. I think it was
Brody Cox doing some blocking out on that far side.
He was one of the other receivers in the vicinity.
But Martinez took the ball. Just a couple of yards
in the back run. Yeah, from the twenty four yard line.
The stunts back Ethn Lewis and he spills forward to
the twenty nine in the pier just a yard shut
(32:19):
of the first time.
Speaker 1 (32:23):
Yeah. How about gimbred Ryan Hard It seems like he
is in the mix so many times offensively for the
Mohawk Warriors.
Speaker 2 (32:32):
Yes, very manageable.
Speaker 1 (32:34):
Third and one for Upper Sandusky's turning off this game.
First drive of the contest here at war Year Field.
Third and one from the twenty nine, going with a
pistol formation, this time with Justin Hollman claps the hands
the trees, comes up defensively snap his back handed off Lewis.
(32:55):
He's got some room to the right side and soar
to thirty thirty five before he is hit from behind
Gared Reinhardt. He is our first nephew's hondaker first town.
It goes for ms thirty seven yards lost. Lewis now
a couple of carries. He comes in averaging five and
(33:17):
a half yards of carry. As we mentioned, five hundred
and forty yards on the season, total five touchdowns, so
he is definitely their leading ground gainer. First had ten
thirty seven yard line snap us back to Homan, hands
it back to Lewis and ripped down from behind by
Logan hemingeris he knows how to get back there on
(33:37):
Patresei there to help, but that was.
Speaker 16 (33:42):
Yeah loading hemming Logan Heminger gets a couple of sacks
on the season at credit for that and another tackle
for loss. This whole squad just excellent with that tackle
for loss. We've seen that from carry out of the
same end ten conference as the conference leaders and Mohawk
taking their place in the tackles for lost category second.
Speaker 1 (34:05):
To twelve thirty five pass far Signe high pointing there
Martinez who rushes up across the forty five yard line.
A good play, He's got the Matthews Hondaakira first down.
Looked like you're right hard again over there defensively for
the Mohawk Warriors along with Mason Schimpf. But Ray Jehan
here for the Upper Sandusky Rams starting off this game.
Speaker 16 (34:29):
Yeah, after the two yard loss, a thirteen yard pickup
just enough for that first down with an extra yard
on top of it, and Max Martinez with a couple
of early receptions in this ballgame for twenty seven yards
on the.
Speaker 1 (34:41):
Forty eighth yard line in their own territories. In that
back Hamman fakes it and then goes to Caleb Francis
across the forty five in Mohawk territory, who play there.
Speaker 2 (34:52):
He's banged down. He gets close to the marker, not quite.
Speaker 7 (34:57):
With the tackle.
Speaker 16 (34:59):
Another nine yard come give him second to the yard.
Speaker 7 (35:02):
And a half eight n buy a ticket, get a
chance to kick.
Speaker 1 (35:08):
Second down and dollars from the forty three in Mohawk territory.
First drive of this game for Rupper's hand Dusky back
to the pistol quarterback home and that's a stamp handed
off to Ethan Lewis rolls through the middle across the
forty yard line. He knew what he needed to get,
and he got even more than he needed to the
thirty nine Matthew's honakurate first town for Sandusky once again
(35:31):
the turn of this draw.
Speaker 20 (35:33):
Also Brent Klein, mister fifty to fifty selling tickets down
there at the gate.
Speaker 16 (35:38):
Makes sure he's Upper sor Dusky squad definitely doing a
great job blocking up front. We know the kind of
pursuit that Mohawk has been able to mount against pretty
much every opponent here and right now. Very effective on
this drive are the Upper Sandusky rams first and.
Speaker 1 (35:56):
Ten thirty nine yard line snap back to home and
giving up to Lewis cuts inside multiple warriors.
Speaker 22 (36:02):
Are there?
Speaker 2 (36:02):
Still a positive game, a short one, but a positive one.
Speaker 1 (36:06):
Nonetheless, looks like he got to the thirty eight yard line,
so they'll take what they could get. Keep it positive.
Going no huddle here, so suck it down in nine
from the thirty eight In motion his cocks, he comes
set on a near side as they set up trips.
Cornerback Holman claps his hands and steps forward, puts his
(36:29):
palm out as he looks over to the sideline.
Speaker 16 (36:35):
I'm gonna change up the play. He looked like he
was gonna go under center.
Speaker 1 (36:38):
Now he drops a peircesna, step back to Holman protect
his knife, passed Martinez across the thirty. They're brought down
by ship. And let's see, did he get to the market.
Maybe he did? Yeahs moving them along.
Speaker 16 (36:54):
There another Matthews Hondakira first down, the fourth one of
this drive.
Speaker 1 (36:59):
Already it certainly is there. You go, So Upper sand
Dusky a good start, but still no points. First drive,
first hand ten, twenty nine yard line, snap back to
Holman from the gun, handed off to Ethan Lewis, scurry
through the right side and a bunch of warriors hanging
on to bring him down, including Carrie Woodland. So got
(37:23):
some help. Bomb that play by Brady Kaufman inside the
twenty five yard line. It looks it's marked at the
twenty three, right down the middle of the field. No score.
Speaker 2 (37:36):
Six and a half to go in this first quarter.
First drive.
Speaker 1 (37:39):
We're going a lot of clock on this drive. Snap
back Holman for Upper a pump and another pump head
Soordier left. Now, let's it go passed out.
Speaker 2 (37:48):
Field on Did he hang on to it?
Speaker 1 (37:51):
Yes, some great catch by Brony Cox, Matthew's Honda Hacker
a first down inside of fifteen.
Speaker 2 (37:58):
It's like they had a spot.
Speaker 16 (37:59):
I'm at the twelve yard line, so an eleven yard pickup.
Speaker 7 (38:03):
Unable to get to stop. That's a first down for
the rail.
Speaker 1 (38:09):
They're looking sharp here on this first drive here in
the red zone number Sandusky. As we hit the six
minute mark of the first quarter, Warriors still haven't had
the ball. Quarter Back Justin Holman leans forward, has the
shotgun snap, takes the hand off, a throw to Caleb Francis,
(38:30):
who makes the catch.
Speaker 2 (38:32):
No, no, no, no, cart went through cardon.
Speaker 7 (38:34):
Went through midday for Francis.
Speaker 16 (38:37):
He would have had a touchdown there, Kirk right there,
right at the goal line, but could not hang on.
Speaker 1 (38:44):
Oh gosh, yeah I thought he had. I totally missed
that one. So here we go, no huddle again.
Speaker 2 (38:54):
Second down.
Speaker 1 (39:00):
As they handed off here, run play for Louis and
Ethan stopped at about the one maybe the two yard line.
Speaker 22 (39:09):
Was Yeah.
Speaker 1 (39:10):
That combination of the running in the passing.
Speaker 2 (39:13):
It's gonna be a Matthews Honda Acurra.
Speaker 16 (39:15):
First down, first and goal from that tho yard six
yards already Forthan Lewis.
Speaker 1 (39:31):
Yeah, isn't he good? Yeah, he's having a fight season
for Upper Sandusky and we'll see him on d as well.
We talked about that snap us back to Helbn, give
it right back to Lewis, all but bracing Frish the
first to read him about the one. It looks like
maybe yard game still not into the zone.
Speaker 16 (39:52):
Frish and Patresei helping out on that tackle as well,
and they're giving him no gain. It looks like must
have had the knee go down right at that two
yard line.
Speaker 2 (40:03):
So second goal from the.
Speaker 1 (40:04):
Two, second and goal quarterback Heilman again, he's looking over
at the sideline.
Speaker 2 (40:16):
Checking the wrist for the play.
Speaker 1 (40:19):
I snap handled, hands it off here, all fresh with
another excellent tackle Ethan Loewyd Lewis. That's for a loss
back to the five. The three yards there burn down bands.
It looks like we're going to get as federal the
redded Union time out for the Upper Sandusky Ranch for
twenty two to go first quarter, no.
Speaker 2 (40:40):
Score for Matthew's Ntaker Game of the Week. I met
the ninety five to nine at iHeartRadio.

back here to Warrior Field. We'll get a third goal
from the five emper sent Le's give you the ball,
Holman looking to pass it ah this time it is
con indeed by MAXs. Martinez any touchdown or upper Sandusky.
So a long opening drive for the Rams results hit six.
Speaker 16 (42:06):
Yeah, just a beautiful drive, just justin Hyelman getting it
done with his arm. Mainly on that drive they drove
eighty yards and the vast majority of that was via
the air. That five yard touchdown run meeting sixty one
of the eighty yard drive. Done there and on to
(42:27):
try the extra point touchdown brought to you by the
Central Hello Farmers co Op.
Speaker 1 (42:30):
As we get hemy Bible geez able to make the
extra point, so Lodur Wilson Tire Scoreboard, it is up
for Sandusky seven mohawk zero. The Warriors haven't had the
ball yet, but they will. We come back. So so
glad that you're with us tonight for Hopecoming Night high
School football Magic ninety five to nine at the Heart Radio.
(42:51):

Speaker 2 (43:21):
I just couldn't remember.
Speaker 1 (43:22):
If anybody else call high school football magic five nine.
Speaker 16 (43:28):
I recall Brody talks. Brody had the other nine yard reception. Okay,
I appreciate your help.
Speaker 2 (43:33):
Yeah, yes, I do remember that.
Speaker 1 (43:35):
Good deal a right, So seven to nothing up per
Santusky with the leaves off yard touchdown play from Justin
Holban to Martinez. Excellent start for the Rams. The Mohawk
can the Warriors. They'll have their say.
Speaker 16 (44:00):
Yeah, seven rush plays, seven pass plays. They did have
a couple of penalties on that drive.
Speaker 1 (44:06):
Idle cheeze with the ground to kick, Yeah, that goes
out of bounds. Well, help, we know that means some
options for the Mohawk weirs. They may have already made
their decision on what they want to do.
Speaker 2 (44:19):
Yeah, the offense is coming out onto the field.
Speaker 16 (44:21):
They're going to take the ball on the thirty five
and go first and ten from there, take a little
bit short of a field shorter than Nupper Sandusky had it.
But they've got to answer the bell here first time out, Kirk.
Very nice drive by Upper Sandusky. They looked totally in
control on that drive. Looked like a very well thought
out drive, A good mix of running pass and kept
(44:43):
them off balance. A good job rushing, and good job
by that offensive line with the pass protection. I only
saw maybe one time on that entire drive seven passes
where there was much of any pressure at all.
Speaker 1 (44:58):
Well, the officials finally recognize the mistake. They were setting
it up at the thirty's like, no, it's got to
be the thirty five yard lines. So well, you heard
it here first, Kirk, I called it right. You actually do.
Speaker 2 (45:12):
Wonders never seen. We'll keep we'll keep him straight.
Speaker 1 (45:14):
Oh man, he goes a lot from the thirty five.
Vogner Eliza Finners skips through, another one gets across the
forty yard lines, a ben Voter we saw before with
him being able to use his legs, and here we
go another great demonstration from Booner. So yeah, you're always
(45:36):
worried about him using his arm, but uh, yeah, he's
an excellent running back as well.
Speaker 16 (45:41):
Yeah, six hundred eleven yards nothing to sneeze at in
this conference. Just an excellent rusher. And you know that
it also includes, of course, some negative yardage when you
get sacked on the rare occasion that that that's occurred
for these Mohawk Warriors.
Speaker 1 (45:56):
Seconded to forty three yard line near side had Hi
snapped up, Bogner hands it off and on the run
and didn't klouse.
Speaker 2 (46:05):
So it gets across the forty five yard.
Speaker 1 (46:07):
Line like well, no, wait a minute, well, well, well
as Caden Biff actually yes, Claus says bitch. Matthew saw
the Accura first down. The Mohawk Warriors looking good early
after surrendering the score. Here they go vers the ten
(46:31):
forty eighty yard line. Snap is back. Here goes Bogner.
He uses bish and he's able to run to the
forty five yard line on the other side of the field.
Speaker 2 (46:42):
Multiple ramps there on defense.
Speaker 16 (46:44):
However, there is some laundry on the field back at
the forty five and the folding is the early indication,
and there's the official indication.
Speaker 2 (46:52):
So this one's coming back. Kurt tight games pedaled.
Speaker 1 (47:00):
They can be really tough, but even in blowouts comes
his own want those types of mistakes, I go, we
gotta play a clean game, all right. So first and
twenty from the thirty eight yard line, Ogner takes a
(47:22):
shot gun snap, rolls to the right, surveys the field,
lets it go when it's incomplete.
Speaker 16 (47:28):
Yeah, it looked like he thought he was gonna possibly
run that one and then decided to maybe try it
past to PATREESI, but he was covered and unfortunately he said, ah,
let's just throw this one away. So just a good
quarterback decision there, I think in second and twenty. But
they'll have to draw it up again and see what
they can come up with this time.
Speaker 1 (47:50):
Yeah, from the thirty eight yard line, we'll get that
second and twenty as we get two receivers to the right,
one to the left.
Speaker 2 (47:57):
When the motions there.
Speaker 1 (47:59):
Goes Klaus Bag that's Sands, has a snap, has it
down the field to Woodland and then it goes down
and it is landed by Caleb Francis for Upper Sandusky. Goodness,
So it looked like they're trying to go for like
a hooking ladder type play and it bounced off and
Caleb France is able to come up with the premiere
(48:21):
optometry group turnover for Upper Sandusky.
Speaker 2 (48:24):
Yeah, that was really odd, I tell you what.
Speaker 16 (48:26):
Kirk drew Woodland, perfect catch and then he tried.
Speaker 1 (48:30):
To pitch it. But he was pitching it.
Speaker 2 (48:31):
It looked like to Garrett.
Speaker 16 (48:33):
Reinhardt and Garrett Reinhardt's alignment, so you know, obviously for
him to be way over there he was pulling. I'm
pretty sure that was a design play, but very strange,
very strange to go to an offensive lineman with a
hooking ladder.
Speaker 1 (48:46):
First and ten, forty one yard lines, Rams have the
ball trying to add to a seven to nothing lead.
Alman as a snap passes over the left side too
high off the right hand of Caleb Francis here in
a thirty five yard run on the sideline.
Speaker 16 (49:01):
And we talked about lack of pressure on the previous
drive all that time, and in Klaus took care of that.
He forced that thrower early and so that was the
reason for that incompletion and he decked Hilman in that backfield.
Real nice play by Klaus putting that pressure on and
making sure that that throw had to go a little
bit too early.
Speaker 1 (49:21):
Brings on second down and ten from the forty one
yard line in Mahaue Territory. Snap back, Just how my
hand's it off? Eathan Lewis always got some room to
the left side, bounces out and he's looking to take
it away if he can stop near the ten yard line.
Looked like Braxon first was over there with an attack
over clearly a message Matthews Hondaker first down.
Speaker 16 (49:42):
Oh my goodness, twenty nine yard pick up.
Speaker 1 (49:46):
What a play?
Speaker 16 (49:47):
Yeah, really great blocking left side of the line. He
could have drove a semi through that one. Kurt, a
lot of room there, I hear you, man, just about
double as you. He's up to sixty two yards on eight.
Carry snap first a.
Speaker 1 (50:03):
Ten twelve yard line. There's a cornerback. Holman has a snap.
He hands it off here. Ethan Lewis runs right up
the middle and multiple mohawk wearers are waiting for him
right now. Carry a couple of yard pickup right there
for Ethan.
Speaker 16 (50:21):
Tackle by the fifty five Chevy Yeah, Logan Hamminger and.
Speaker 2 (50:28):
Eli shot of the year on that tackle. Second and seven, all.
Speaker 1 (50:40):
Right, guess from the ten yard line justin Holman still
set one in motion. Francis the quarterback has a snap,
throws it up in the air, looking for Martinez again. No,
this time does not hang on. He's got the one
touchdown spent time.
Speaker 16 (51:01):
Mason Mason shimp on the coverage there, and he knocked
that ball free Kirk. Otherwise, that was touchdown number two
for Max Martinez. Owen Patrezi going over just to congratulate
him because that was one heck of a defensive play.
Saved a touchdown for sure. Third and seven or eight here,
(51:23):
I guess we're still calling it.
Speaker 1 (51:24):
Eight time, but me yeah, third and eight ten, let's see,
all right, it's time directly to Ethan Lewis, and he
looked for some blockers and runs up the middle and
Ethan across the eighty yard line.
Speaker 16 (51:42):
It does appear maybe got a yard. Yeah, they're gonna
have to bring out the King. And on the season,
kolbe Bidel, she's with a couple of field goals, so
not a totally unusual.
Speaker 1 (52:01):
Yeah, he has a tremendous leg, and we know he's
also a member of the soccer team, and yeah, they've
got a playoff game next week and soccer gets clear
for it, so he's got to be really busy and
he goes for the field goal attempt. Here it is
for Kobe Vinyl Cheese. Wow, so the golden leg works
(52:23):
for Vinyl Cheese. To extend the lead to tend to
nothing on our Wilson Tyre scoreboard for the Upper Sandusky
Rams Buhawk Warriors, and know they've gotten some work to
do early forty seven seconds left in the first quarter,
and we'll bring him for you, coming right next. Sir
Matthews Hondaker came the week I'm atter ninety five to

First quarer Birdie Cox on that stop.
Speaker 1 (56:06):
He came to play tonight. Kirk low snap handled Bogner
being chased a throw on the far side, and that's
a complete Caleb Francis able to knock it down. He
is pumped up for Upper Sandusky. You know the Rams
they are doing a fine job. Multiple players really stepping
up to tie. Yeah.
Speaker 16 (56:27):
Absolutely, it looks like they just came out fresh as
they could be and they are just flying all over
the field right now.
Speaker 1 (56:36):
Kirk.
Speaker 16 (56:37):
If I recall, that would only be play number six
for Mohawk and we're almost to the second quarter here.
Four point three seconds remain.
Speaker 1 (56:50):
Even from the twenty nine. Quarterback Bogner has the helmet
high snap steps, up loads on the field and incomplete

Speaker 1 (58:00):
High School Football Magic ninety five nine. Here a Warrior field.
Speaker 22 (58:04):
The Mohawk Warriors.
Speaker 1 (58:06):
They are trailing to start off the second quarter ten
to nothing to the Upper sand Dusky Rams and the
Rams looking to get the ball back here because we're
at a fourth and eleven from the twenty nine yard
line in their own territories, so clear punting.
Speaker 16 (58:29):
Looked like some possible confusion out there, but they will
punt it away.
Speaker 1 (58:33):
And Bowner does get it off with the right foot,
this one heading across the thirty five and across the
thirty picked up by Francis and then Bill gets drilled
by balling Patrees and then some other Mohawk Warriors.
Speaker 7 (58:49):
Rams ball. Yeah.
Speaker 16 (58:52):
Also helping out on that tackle John Stansbury, and really, uh,
that was very fortunate he held on to that ball.
Speaker 2 (58:59):
He I think he thought about letting it.
Speaker 16 (59:01):
Go, decided to pick it up at the last moment
and he just had three four players bearing down on
him and the trees. He hit him first, Stansbury finished
him off.
Speaker 1 (59:13):
So from the twenty seventy yards line, we've got a
first down and ten four upper Sandusky leading it ten
to nothing to start off the second quarter, snap back
to Justin Heilman and hands it off left side to Martinez.
Max So surrounded by Warriors and Griffin back so clearly
(59:33):
shy of the thirty yard line, see where they right
help might be.
Speaker 16 (59:39):
Twenty nine and that was strictly a rushing play there, correct, Kirk, Yeah,
just a run ride there, ye.
Speaker 1 (59:48):
All right, very good.
Speaker 7 (59:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 16 (59:49):
Max Martinez has definitely been the busy man here tonight.
His first rush and gaining just a couple of yards there,
but he's got fifty two yards and that first touchdown
in receiving.
Speaker 1 (01:00:01):
All right, So second down and eight from the twenty
nine yard line, pistol. Look, Houman hasn't waist high. They
dressed up a bat and then wrapped up from behind
the Mohawk warriors were there.
Speaker 16 (01:00:13):
Looks like Hemminger on the stop and then also Brady
Kaufman helping out on that as well.
Speaker 2 (01:00:19):
So another tackle for loss.
Speaker 16 (01:00:27):
That one goes back about four yards beyond the line
of scrimmage, So a six yard loss on that play.
Speaker 2 (01:00:32):
And that's what we've come to respect.
Speaker 16 (01:00:35):
So see if the defense can help create some offense
for Mohawk here tonight. Think offense hasn't been getting much done.
Speaker 1 (01:00:41):
To start with. Earned forteen about in the twenty four
and I'm on the passed down field for Martadez gets
built hands on it by the falls incomplete on the
near sideline around the forty five yard line. Mason shimps
over there in coverage for the Warriors. Yeah, I'll tell
you what.
Speaker 16 (01:00:58):
Mason shimp had excellent coverage there. But just another perfect
pass and Martinez had a chance at it. It was
a long long shot, but he was fully extended, just
not able to haul that in off his fingertips. But Hilman,
just an excellent night so far. Sixty one yards on
seven or excuse me, six of nine passing all right.
Speaker 1 (01:01:21):
Well, fourth down and fourteen hunting situation here, Josh Howvin
was able to get it off his right foot a
high wind across the forty five yard line of forty
across the thirty five les near to thirty three.
Speaker 7 (01:01:37):
Yard line.
Speaker 1 (01:01:38):
Well you're gonna stop there by Dalton shock for u
per se dusky and I think Drew Woodland making a
good decision there, coach coming out and talking to him.
Speaker 16 (01:01:47):
But quite honestly, with the running he had to get
over there. By the time he got there, he had
the defense right in his face. I think that was
a good one to let go. It only cost him
maybe two three yards, so not worth the risk of
picking it up when you could get hit immediately and
get the ball dislodged.
Speaker 1 (01:02:03):
They've had enough issues already. First to ten thirty two
yard line near side hash ten sixteen to go in
the second quarter. Mohak with the ball traily get it
home ten to nothing to upper sand toss king and
the quarterback has a snap. Boger hands it off immediately.
Caden Bish runs up the gut across the forty yard line.
Good run. Ram's able to get him down to the turf.
(01:02:28):
But Kate Bush across a forty yard rod and it
looks like.
Speaker 2 (01:02:32):
Nine yard pick up there.
Speaker 16 (01:02:34):
He had an eight yard pickup on the first drive,
and you know, a great blocking on that right side.
Oh check that there. Now moving it up to first
down yardage. I mean literally, they had the second down
marker and they've the chains were set and now they've
just moved him up.
Speaker 1 (01:02:50):
So first down, so a ten yard pickup Matthew Sondaker
first down indeed, so snap him back for forty two
and then Bogner takes off and runs with it himself
and might have run into his own man for a moment,
but I was able to bounce off and get across
the forty five.
Speaker 16 (01:03:06):
Your time, Yeah, I think he came up on the
back of Braxton Jenkins on that play, but Jenkins doing
a nice job clearing out on that right side. He
was three four yards down the field before the quarterback
ran into him, and just trying to kind of feel
his way forward see which way he could break off of.
Speaker 1 (01:03:25):
That second down and five forty seven yard lines still
on their own side of the field, down ten to
nothing in the second quarter, Mohug with the ball, Bogner
with the snap, hands off Kat and Bish runs to
the right side and remember right there. Oh yeah, love
with Ethan Lewis. We talked about Ethan Lewis. You know
what a season he's having. Leading the intent and tackles
(01:03:48):
three eight five, marking at the forty nine yard line,
looking at a third town and three four mo hawk.
Speaker 2 (01:03:59):
So both looks so far to the sideline.
Speaker 1 (01:04:04):
Right beside him as Caden Bish, a couple of receivers
and left of the formation, one near side receiver in
his shims. Quarterback Bogner Bins gets a snap, hands it off,
Caden Bish runs left side. It looked like initially he
might have gotten close. It depends on the spot.
Speaker 16 (01:04:19):
I think it's gonna be about a half yard shy
maybe uh maybe a football shy of that first down.
I'll mark it on the right foot. So yeah, it's
about a football shy. They need to go very less
and very much less than a yard. Wouldn't quarterback sneak
(01:04:39):
on this one? So we got fourth down, they're gonna
go out of the shotgun. It looks like or maybe
a direct snap less than a yard.
Speaker 1 (01:04:48):
Yes, a Vogner, he's got it. He's taken off to
run it. He knew what he needed. He clearly has
a Matthew's on Eger first down and crossing forty five
yard line, getriped back but beautifully done Ben Vogner, as
he's been doing all season.
Speaker 2 (01:05:00):
Mohawk looked like ostball was in there.
Speaker 1 (01:05:02):
Lucas Osball part of the tackling tandem with Parker Mouser
for Reverer sand Dusky. So ball place at the forty
four yard line. Seven forty seven to go until a
halftime down ten to nothing. Is a bull hook?
Speaker 22 (01:05:21):
Well he was.
Speaker 2 (01:05:22):
He looked like he was already to blitz.
Speaker 1 (01:05:28):
Ogner has a snap, HIGs off, runs again, left side,
hits one. Yeah, he breaks a tackle on and finally
but yeah, Ethan was over there getting across the forty
yard line to the thirty eight with the.
Speaker 16 (01:05:45):
Six yard pickup second and four already twenty five yards
for Ben Bogner, and we saw that in the last
contest as well.
Speaker 1 (01:05:53):
He only threw a few passes.
Speaker 16 (01:05:55):
He was very effective and the ones that he did throw,
but a lot of running and we're gonna see that
again tonight. I think the second and four to thirty
eight yr line and handed off Kate and bish Off.
Speaker 2 (01:06:04):
The snap runs a left side.
Speaker 1 (01:06:06):
It's a good run for Caine and Fish could be
an injury on the sandline Vector's on the accurate first down.
Did see uh lucassball sort of slow to get up,
but he is up to his feet for upper sand dusky.
So another good first down play for the Mohawk Warriors.
Train to get ten to nothing with six forty seven
(01:06:26):
to go until halftime.
Speaker 16 (01:06:30):
Scoreboard needs to be corrected. Balls on the thirty three
not to twenty eight after that six yard pickup snap back.
Speaker 1 (01:06:37):
To Bogner, looks up, gets a block from Chevalier pass
near side incomplete. Really nobody right there, Please stops the
clock at six thirteen.
Speaker 16 (01:06:49):
Caleb bish and Uh Owen Patresi. I guess we're in
the zip code, but not really the area.
Speaker 1 (01:07:01):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (01:07:01):
So uh, you gotta figure out something here. The Mohawk Warriors.
Speaker 16 (01:07:05):
Yeah, Ben Bogner, he comes in completing sixty five percent
of his pass, is just one of five.
Speaker 1 (01:07:10):
Right now, second and ten, snap back, Here we go,
Caden bish because he squirts.
Speaker 2 (01:07:20):
Up toward to thirty one maybe two yards yeah, third
down and eight.
Speaker 7 (01:07:28):
Shaper with the tackle.
Speaker 1 (01:07:34):
Yeah, lock heading toward the six minutes mark here, yeah,
Bohunk Warriors, Yeah, they are not used to this. They
used to give us some points by now here we go.
So Bogner from the Lagan has a snap, just high
works his way to the right side, cuts in on.
There is Ezekiel Baldwin among the tacklers for the upper
(01:07:55):
sent Dusky rams gonna.
Speaker 16 (01:07:58):
Give him forward progress to the thirty. But that's going
to bring up a fourth and seven here.
Speaker 2 (01:08:10):
Yeah, well, obviously go for it.
Speaker 1 (01:08:16):
We're down in seven from the thirty in upper territory
trailing attend to nothing against Mohawk with five twenty four
remaining gun til halftime. Bogner from the Gun claps his hands,
has a snap, rolls to the left, gets some protection
from Bish to pass down field too high incomplete, looking
for Mason Champ or Marker Mouser over there and coverage four.
The upper Saidusky rams gets congratulations from Seat Baldwin. Upper
(01:08:39):
Sandusky getting the ball right back with five point fifteen
to go until halftime and attend to nothing lead.
Speaker 2 (01:08:46):
I'm looking for silver lining.
Speaker 16 (01:08:48):
At least they move the ball a little bit, got
a cup few first downs on that drive, mainly through
the run. Right now, Ben Bogner's been off target, missing
his favorite receiver tonight a flaw and take you all.
Speaker 7 (01:09:01):
From participating in the fifty fifty.
Speaker 1 (01:09:05):
Well, yeah, still plenty of time here for uppercent Dusky
to add to this lead.
Speaker 16 (01:09:09):
Yeah, and they've outscored their opponents in the second quarter
by nearly one hundred points. So uh, this is a
team that can put points up early and often, but
right now their defense has to do the job. And
Upper Sandusky he's done a great job on offense thus far.
Speaker 1 (01:09:26):
First and ten from the thirty yard line up per
se Dusky. There's four receivers who went out in this pattern.
Step back to how and fakes a handoff, throws the
middle of Francis catchers across the thirty five spittings and
then button down from behind. Garrett reinhardts Maggy and there Jack. Yeah,
Garrett Reinhardt was the main one to make that stop
(01:09:48):
near the thirty eighth yard line.
Speaker 16 (01:09:51):
Elias Maga Lane has kind of spun him back to
the inside with that spin move, but uh, finishing off
a good job on the defense. Then they've really got
to get some pressure. Not putting much pressure at all.
I only recall one time where the quarterback was really
hurried on and handed Klaus when he squirted through the
line and put some quick pressure on the it down in.
Speaker 1 (01:10:14):
Two from the thirty eight Martinez. In most quarterback has
a snap hands and off to Martinez on the run.
But Max not but from a little sea or if
you got enough looking at the forty yard.
Speaker 16 (01:10:25):
Line with yeah, it looks like first down yardage they
pay measure they're gonna.
Speaker 1 (01:10:30):
Have now they're going down. That is the Matthews Hantaki
the first own you maxning what he's gotta get in
that situation. Because we've gone four fifteen and counting down
toward halftime. Of course, our regenttribue agency halftime show who
will be coming up?
Speaker 2 (01:10:50):
Hope you'll join us for that. The first had ten.
Speaker 1 (01:10:53):
From the forty snap back to Justin Hollman hands it
off right into the belly, so Cayden bogol and flag
comes out.
Speaker 2 (01:11:01):
Logo goes down.
Speaker 1 (01:11:03):
Multiple warriors over there, including shimp at Sega.
Speaker 2 (01:11:09):
Do you have a hole so that one that will
come back?
Speaker 1 (01:11:14):
Yeah?
Speaker 16 (01:11:15):
Surprise to see Max Martinez already with two carries. I
mean they have totally featured Max Martinez in this ballgame,
both via the pass and a couple of carries. He
only had seven carries heading into this ballgame. And of
course we're in week number eight, so one carry a
week average. He's already done that here in the first
half with two and kick picked up a couple of
(01:11:35):
key first downs with those carries.
Speaker 1 (01:11:38):
So makes it first and twenty from the thirteen your side,
hash jans like time out? Possibly what do we got?
Speaker 2 (01:11:49):
Whistled it for some reason?
Speaker 16 (01:11:51):
But you think we're resetting one of the clocks. Three
fifty five should be on the clock, I think is
what they are determining.
Speaker 2 (01:12:04):
Currently, says three fifty four.
Speaker 16 (01:12:07):
It needs to be something different. We'll figure out what
that is. Three fifty they're gonna put on it.
Speaker 7 (01:12:11):
There we go, No.
Speaker 1 (01:12:12):
Three forty okay, and it's running. I got it. Okay, Well, yeah,
it's three fifty exactly. Yeah. So verse and twenty from
the thirty eight percent Dusky with the ball upon nothing
quarterback Justin Holman and course in downfield, caught by Francis
Cross a forty yard line and then brought down by.
Speaker 2 (01:12:28):
Bogner at the forty two That kill Frans.
Speaker 1 (01:12:33):
Definitely a huge impact player for this team all season long,
and in this game tonight.
Speaker 16 (01:12:40):
Yea twelve yard pick up there and Heilman Uh and
back on track again with another twelve yard pass play
seventy three yards on seven of ten completions.
Speaker 1 (01:12:51):
Second and eight from the forty two yard line. Step
is back Justin Holman, the past far side to Cox
incomplete on the side clide.
Speaker 7 (01:13:02):
Coxy Cox.
Speaker 1 (01:13:04):
Yeah, he stretched forward, couldn't quite hold onto the ball
right there. Does stop the clock at three minutes of
the second quarter, heading toward.
Speaker 22 (01:13:11):
Half Tom.
Speaker 16 (01:13:13):
Yeah, if you're Mohawk, you might consider calling uh a
time out. If they're able to get a stop here,
try and conserve clock so you can try and get
something on the board.
Speaker 1 (01:13:24):
Before halftime. Third and eight from the forty two have
to make a stop to play. Actually passflected up in
the air and may have been caught by one of
the rams.
Speaker 2 (01:13:35):
Yeah, I believe.
Speaker 16 (01:13:37):
Kle Vince might have got that one. It was tipped,
so it's okay for the lineman.
Speaker 2 (01:13:42):
To catch up. Yeah, that's exactly right.
Speaker 16 (01:13:45):
I didn't see who made the tip in the backfield,
but good hand just to get the ball swatted up
into the air. Kale Vince the proud recipient. Anytime those
big guys get up, get the play, pick up the ball,
run rumble.
Speaker 1 (01:14:04):
They love that sort of stuff. They live for it.
So on the fourth down and five the forty five,
your claud is a pun for Josh Holman, the person
Dusky Woodland. He takes it from the nineteen cost of
twenty twenty five and dripping back word by what's solid
(01:14:25):
return Brody Cox on attackle the Special Teams Warrior ball
for two oh five remaining until halftime. No doubt to
the Mohawk Warriors they want some points. Really get ten
to nothing to their rivals from Upper Sandusky.
Speaker 2 (01:14:47):
That is not sitting well with him at all.
Speaker 16 (01:14:50):
A lot of game left, Yeah, I'm still kind of
surprised they didn't call the time out after that goofy
tip up into the air and two yard pickup for
the big offensive lineman. I just love it, all right.
So anyway, Mohawk back with the ball.
Speaker 1 (01:15:04):
First, had ten thirty one yard line. Let's see if
they can get some points on the board before the break.
Bogner from the gun hands a snap, takes a handoff,
throws over the middle Todd Klaus forty yard line, spills
forwards like he's got enough for the Matthews Hondaker a
first down to the forty two.
Speaker 2 (01:15:24):
So that was definitely what the Warriors were hoping for
on that.
Speaker 1 (01:15:27):
First place.
Speaker 7 (01:15:30):
First down.
Speaker 1 (01:15:31):
Mohawk right here at the forty two ball middle of
the field. Bogner shot gun, knee high snap handles, it
rolls to the left, does he find the receiver? Passes on?
It does off the Treesy's heads, and it is intercepted
by Josh Holman upper sid Dusky's got the ball. It
is on a deflection, but only the second thrown interception
(01:15:53):
of the season for Ben Bogner. Here we are in
Week eight.
Speaker 2 (01:15:57):
That's a tough one.
Speaker 1 (01:15:58):
But Josh Holman comes up with the premiere optometry group
turnover for Upper Sandusky the second So, my goodness, how
about this the Rams trying to get an upscent on
the road against the number one team in the end ten.
Speaker 16 (01:16:14):
Yeah, just looking very confident out there, both offensively and defensively.
That very unfortunate hit Patrizi in the hands, but he
just could not handle it, popped up into the air
for Hilman to take control, and he's back on offense
first and.
Speaker 1 (01:16:29):
Ten, forty two yard line in Mohawk territory cover with
the ball under fresh from Bryan hard pass left side,
and it's incomplete down the field.
Speaker 2 (01:16:39):
Drew Woodland with real nice coverage there.
Speaker 7 (01:16:43):
Incomplete.
Speaker 1 (01:16:45):
Yeah, Josh Holming, we just couldn't quite hold on to
it right there. So stop the clock at one twenty eight,
heading toward half time, all on the far side Hash
there at the forty two across midfield up for Sandusky
(01:17:08):
with a chance to add to attend to nothing lead.
Good work here from the Rams right quarterback, justin Hollman
in motion. Let's see time, maybe a timeout. It's called
it is cross Federal credit timeout, first Federal Credit Union timeout.
I should say Upper san Dusky. What's twenty eight to
(01:17:29):
go until halftime? It is our Matthews Hondaker a game
of the week. Imagine done and five done or not
her radio.

Speaker 1 (01:18:40):
While you were away. Just moments ago, we had a
second and ten from the forty two in the past
it complete justin Hollman to Caleb Francis to pass a
little bit high for the Upper Sandusky Rams leading at
ten to nothing. Here at Warrior Field with one twenty
four to go until halftime, the first place Mohawk Warriors
on Defensis trying this something bleeding here, third down and ten,
(01:19:02):
forty two yard line from the pisol in the quarterback
hum and has a snap back pedals get some protection
here throws it may have been tib and caught by
Max martine Is at the twenty five yard line, got
the first down and by Matthew's on the hecker. Looks
like they may be marking the twenty six maybe twenty seven. Yep,
(01:19:24):
they put at the twenty seven yard line.
Speaker 16 (01:19:28):
And Max Martinez getting the tip again off of Owen
Patresei's hands.
Speaker 1 (01:19:33):
He had a hand on it, but that's all he
could come up with. Through the passes down the field,
he's got Francisan's tried on the near sign. It's a
touchdown twenty seven yard play. When we got a flight
we see here in a twenty seven yard line. Oh,
this one might be coming back.
Speaker 16 (01:19:54):
Yeah, I think it is Logan Heminger pointing towards the
bad guys. If you're one of the Mohawk faithful Upper
Sandusky getting the penalty flag and they will mark it
off indeed, ten yard holding penalty holding against the.
Speaker 2 (01:20:11):
Rim break for Mohawk.
Speaker 1 (01:20:13):
And if you are a team that gets a touchdown
taking off the board on a penalty here or frustrated
with that, we'll see if they can keep their wits
about him. Here, still a minute left until halftime. First
and twenty from the thirty seven yard line. Alman has
a snap looking comfortable here for treesy. He gives change
(01:20:34):
heber tray never again to them for the sack. You
kinda love his passion playing that came a football.
Speaker 16 (01:20:45):
Yeah, Patresey's had a couple of balls bounce not his way.
This time he made sure the bounce was going his
way as he creamed high in the backfield. Hilmen lucky
to get up in one piece.
Speaker 2 (01:20:56):
That after that one.
Speaker 1 (01:20:59):
From the forty six yard line, second and along his
Holman goes to Francis, takes it across the five, gets
to the forty yards line.
Speaker 16 (01:21:11):
Real nice open field tackle by Drew Woodland over there.
He got a little help from big number sixty four
Garrett Reinhardt, but Drew Woodland stood his ground and didn't
get faked out by Caleb Francis.
Speaker 2 (01:21:27):
So it's gonna bring up third and forever.
Speaker 1 (01:21:29):
Yeah, we do get on the forty General Credit Union
time out for Upper sand Dusky.
Speaker 2 (01:21:37):
They'll have to get it inside.
Speaker 16 (01:21:38):
Looks like about the seventeen sixteen seventeen yard line and
they're on the forty here, so third and what twenty three?
Speaker 1 (01:21:45):
I guess.
Speaker 2 (01:21:48):
We'll have our Read.
Speaker 1 (01:21:49):
Insurance Agency halftime show and some other teams in the end.
Speaker 22 (01:21:53):
Ten.
Speaker 1 (01:21:55):
We'll certainly be happy if this holds up and Upper
Sandusky is able to up on Mohawk. Mohawk undefeated within
conference play, only one loss on the season that was
out of conference. So we got the three teams in
second place right looking to rejoin UHAK. At least one
(01:22:15):
of those teams will be able to do so. Sit
the East Carrie, Colonel Crawford, So we'll have that coming
up for you in a Reinsuranagency halftime show. See what
those courts aren't like? All right, Third down, twenty three
forty yard line, seventeen seconds left until half time. Upper
sand Dusky up ten to nothing. Snap back Justin Hollman. Oh,
(01:22:38):
he's got some good protection now gets chased thereby Himminger,
sets his feet, throws it downfield. Does he have a man, Yes,
but incomplete.
Speaker 2 (01:22:46):
He was looking for his brother.
Speaker 16 (01:22:50):
Ben Bogner over on the coverage there, and uh, really
kind of a risky pass. I know there's only a
few seconds left in the half, and that would have
even if it was intercepted, be all the way down
near the ten yard line. But still you've done a
great job if you're the Upper Some Dusky rams in
this first half, and I know they would love to
score here, but don't need to.
Speaker 1 (01:23:10):
Take any unnecessary chances here. Ward down and twenty three
eight seconds left until the break.
Speaker 16 (01:23:18):
They're gonna talk about it one Mohawks wants to talk
about it this time.
Speaker 1 (01:23:23):
Absolutely so Mohawk takes the quest Federal Credit Union time out. Yeah,
they understand how serious this is. I mean they're already
down ten to nothing. Definitely don't want to go down
another score here before the break. Well, that is a
good time out. We're gonna Mohawk Warriors playing in this
(01:23:43):
game tonight without Kine Hayman and Caleb Bish. They're both here.
Speaker 7 (01:23:52):
Their jeans.
Speaker 2 (01:23:53):
I'm playing in this contest.
Speaker 1 (01:23:57):
And the anticipation what we're hearing is Kate should be
next week for Carrie. Not quite sure the status of
Caleb Bish.
Speaker 16 (01:24:06):
Yeah, they both went out to the huddle out there.
They're still very involved in this game. Just great leadership
by those two young men.
Speaker 22 (01:24:19):
All right.
Speaker 1 (01:24:20):
So four down in twenty three from the forty and
Mowak territory, with eight seconds left until the break, Upper
HiT's game up ten to nothing.
Speaker 2 (01:24:28):
Stapens back under the pressure.
Speaker 1 (01:24:30):
From ran Hard Bakeslip, play over to Francis, throws it
to the other direction and he's not able to get
anymore as he stopped at the twenty yard line. So
that will do it for the first half. The even
was well, that was entertaining.
Speaker 2 (01:24:48):
Yeah, nice pass.
Speaker 16 (01:24:49):
It went over to the thirty yard line and then
he went all the way across the field trying to
do the misdirection. But good job by the defense for Mohawk.
They stayed put, stayed home, they were able to make
the play, and mercifully this half ends for them, and
they'll be glad to see this one in the books.
Not the way they wanted it to go for a
(01:25:10):
homecoming crowd. But we'll see what adjustments they're able to
make at halftime. And they at least slowed the bleeding
down when they had only three plays or four plays
rather in the first.
Speaker 1 (01:25:23):
Quarter right before I think the quarter ended.
Speaker 16 (01:25:26):
They might have got a couple more in so just
six plays in the entire first quarter, and they were
able to overcome hook and ladder fumble of their own,
and that only resulted in a twenty five yard field goal,
and so it could have been much much worse Kirk
than it ended up. So they had the turnovers and
(01:25:47):
then of course, you know, getting it down to just
a ten point lead at halftime, they have to feel fortunate,
even though it's not in their favor.
Speaker 1 (01:25:58):
Yeah, I mean, it's close enough and there's a lot
of game left and Bohok is still the top team
in the intents. We'll take a break and we'll come

At least one other team will rejoin Mohawk in first place.
And that is because two of the second place teams
are playing each other in Carrie and Colonel Rufford, And
right now the score that we have for that game,
I'm quite sure if it is.
Speaker 22 (01:30:14):
That halftime yet or not. But Carrie with a ten to.
Speaker 1 (01:30:17):
Seven leads on Colonel per Rufford. So that is very
very interesting. I am gonna see if I can scroll
through and find the Seneca East score, and I have
because Sinica East is the other second place team. Three
second place teams, so Seneca yeas rolling on luck guys
(01:30:37):
Central thirty six to nothing. So based on that, we're
gonna have in these two teams joining.
Speaker 2 (01:30:45):
Mohawk for first place.
Speaker 22 (01:30:47):
If the Warriors do not have a comeback in them.
Speaker 2 (01:30:50):
Tonight to take over this game.
Speaker 1 (01:30:52):
So lots of things happening in the intent, but regardless,
even if Mohawk falls, the Warriors will still be in
first place. It will just be a.
Speaker 2 (01:31:00):
Share in that situation.
Speaker 1 (01:31:02):
Winford with a twenty seven to nothing lead on Ugh Cyrus,
looking at more of the intent side there outside of
the intent shall be an undefeated team fifteen to nothing

Redy with a twenty one to seven lead on Buckeye Valley. There,
(01:31:24):
North Moore continuing to play really well this season. A
tight one here, up ten to seven on Mount Gilead
is North Moore. We've got ontario other undefeated team, the Warriors,
with a twenty four to seven lead on Harding Up

High school football magic in ninety five nine here at
Mohawk High School where the this is the kemper said,
Dusky Rams leaded ten to nothing on the Warriors. So
glad that you are with us for our Read Insurance
Agency halftime show. And basically this game obviously not a
(01:35:08):
whole lot of scoring here right this one touchdown and
a field goal in this contest with Kobe vital Ches
able to get that done. So yeah, obviously a fun game.
I see you're think at it.
Speaker 2 (01:35:28):
So I finally made it back.
Speaker 16 (01:35:30):
I was able to track down and get my statistics updated.
Speaker 1 (01:35:34):
It was a weird first half.
Speaker 2 (01:35:35):
Okay, well it looks like you wanted to share.
Speaker 1 (01:35:39):
If that's the case, then.
Speaker 16 (01:35:41):
Take it away, Jim, Absolutely so Upper Sandusky. As you
were just hearing ten to nothing with the lead at halftime,
we still got about ten minutes left in your halftime
show here justin Heilman came out red hot, hitting on
six of his first seven passes, including a five yard
touchdown pass to Max Martinez and that got the scoring
(01:36:02):
rolling with a seven to zing touchdown on their very
first drive of the ball game. Since that time, it's
been a little tougher going for Justin Heilman. He had
sixty one yards on that first drive. He ended up
with about sixty three more altogether in the first half,
so one hundred and twenty four yards on a total
of twenty passes. And his leading receivers both have over
(01:36:27):
fifty yards in receptions Caleb Francis with fifty four and
fifty nine yards for Max Martinez, including that one touchdown.
Caleb Francis had a touchdown called back due to penalty
on what was a very fortunate play if you're the
Mohawks squad, because that was right before halftime, after they
(01:36:51):
had turned the ball over for the second time in
the first half. So very fortunate to come away with
just a ten point deficit here at the half. And
can't forget Vince Kal. He got his first reception of
the season and probably his only reception of the season,
maybe of his only of his high school career. So
(01:37:11):
I would be remiss if I didn't give him credit,
and I will give him full credit. I only thought
it was about a two yard pickup. They had him
credited for five, so five yard reception and he'll be
talking about that one thirty years from now.
Speaker 2 (01:37:25):
Great job for Vince.
Speaker 1 (01:37:27):
That ball got.
Speaker 2 (01:37:28):
Tipped up into the air.
Speaker 1 (01:37:29):
Didn't see who made the tip.
Speaker 16 (01:37:30):
But if you're looking for a silver lining, if you're
the Mohawk Warriors, they did do a much better job
after those that first drive. Far fewer passes were completed.
Caleb Francis was the top receiver. He had six out
of the next what thirteen passes that were caught in
(01:37:54):
that first half, and so they did slow down Hilman
just a bit. They were able to put pressure on
a couple times. There was that tip pass, They were
able to sack him a couple of times. So justin
Hilman did also have negative sixteen yards, including that right
before the halftime where Owen Patresei just made a monster
(01:38:17):
play to sack him for a huge loss.
Speaker 2 (01:38:20):
So then Ethan Lewis doing the main work on the ground.
Speaker 16 (01:38:26):
He had a soap total of sixty three yards on
twelve carries, so better than five yards a pop. He
averages five and a half yards of carry, so no
surprise there and Max Martinez with a couple of carries
four yards for the Upper Sandusky side of things. And
then if you want to take a look at mohawk
Ben Bogner, he was a little bit off in this
(01:38:48):
first half, missing his top receiver, top two receivers really
Keane Hayman missing his second week of action, and of
course he has six hundred and fifty six yards on
the season, averages over one hundred yards a game and
receiving that's quite a feed in high school football. So
he's also their top touchdown receiving man as well, with
(01:39:10):
nine touchdowns on the season, and that was only three.
Speaker 1 (01:39:14):
Game six, I believe. And so here we are in
game eight and Hayman missing his second game.
Speaker 16 (01:39:20):
Caleb Bisch also out this week, and he has twenty
six receptions on the season, averages sixteen yards of reception
and five touchdowns. So neither of those weapons are available
and it showed, I mean quite frankly, Ben Bogner's kind
of been searching. I thought maybe and and Klaus might
be the man to go to Drew Woodland. They've both
(01:39:43):
had some targets. That big first reception of the Drew
Woodland he caught a reception for about six yards. Then
they tried to do a pitchback and that one never
made it to what appeared to me an offensive line
that was coming up behind him. It looked like a
design play, I believe it was, but very unusual to
(01:40:07):
go from a wide receiver then having pitch it back
to an offensive lineman. But that was a pulling guard
in that situation, so I believe that that was a
design play. Didn't go their way. They fumbled, and fortunately
they only gave up three points after that drive stalled
(01:40:27):
and a twenty seven yard field goal by Kobe Beadlshee's
was the difference that tend to nothing difference that we
have here in the first half. So and and Klaus
did come up with an eleven yard reception, but Ben
Bogner is just going to have to do a better job,
and you know, maybe we'll see more runs with Ben Bogner.
(01:40:49):
We saw that work effectively last week and the last
you know, he's a very effective runner as well as
Caden bish So they've only combined though, for fifty one
total yards rushing, but they've done You had six incompletion passes,
and when you only have fourteen plays and a half.
(01:41:10):
That's not going to get the job done very often.
So Justin Hilman alone has had twenty pass attempts and
then there have been another fourteen plays, fourteen rushes, and
a total of sixty five yards and very close to
two hundred yards total offense for Upper Sandusky and as
(01:41:34):
I mentioned, just fifty one yards rushing in seventeen yards
passing so far for the first place Mohawk Warriors.
Speaker 1 (01:41:41):
So they've got some work to do.
Speaker 7 (01:41:42):
Kirk.
Speaker 16 (01:41:43):
Their team that's shown all season long that they're up
to the task. They're going to have to come from
behind to do it this week and to maintain that
first place sole possession if they want it, and I
think they do.
Speaker 1 (01:41:56):
Certainly, Yes, the Mohawk Warriors, they want to get that
ten championship just like they wanted in twenty eighteen. Well,
Mohawk does have another in ten champion in a different sport.
We'll talk about that when we come back. As our
Insurance Agency halftime Show continues, it is Upper Sandusky ten

So looking at some other sports in the N ten
Across Country Hey, The Intent Championships will be held tomorrow
morning at Seneca East and it was Seneca East that
won the championships last year, with the top runners being
Evan Sheeffer for the boys and Lily Sheffer for the girls.
(01:43:56):
Lily has since graduated, Evan is still an as a
senior and individually he'll be the favorite. But as far
as cross country team competition goes considered a last week,
the Mohawk boys did beat the Syndicate East Runners collectively
at Saturday's New London Invitational. Should be noted that Evan
(01:44:19):
of Senegese did get first individually, but as a team,
Mohawk took first kind of done. Led by senior Boomer Cleveland,
and he also had Phoenix Rally, Holton Hilton, Markurian Marty Justin.
They also had some strong runs for the Warriors in
volleyball last night. Mohawk concluded a perfect regular season with
(01:44:43):
a street sets win last night versus Senegese. I just
overheard Rodney he address the crowd about that just as
we were speaking. Wow the Warriors. They are the three
time reigning In ten champions in volleyball and they get
ready for postseason play with a twin and oh record.
Mohawk middle hitter Biz Clop leading the in ten and

reps Aftaire. That's Bobahawk the home Warriors trailing the visiting
Upper Sandusky Rams by a score of ten to nothing.
There's still a lot of time left in this game
(01:48:08):
for anything that happens, so we'll check it out. We'll
see what happens. So we got eighteen seconds left on
the clock. It is official warm up time, so they
couldnot cut that time short. They are required to let

that time roll down to the bottom. But yeah, I
think the players they got done warming up of some

Speaker 7 (01:49:46):
Right between the third and fourth quarter, two.
Speaker 1 (01:49:48):
Receivers set up wide. Boger claps his hands, takes a
shotgun snap and runs to the ride, bounces across the
twenty twenty five yard line and then gets backed down
near the twenty eight Multiple rams ye pre Sandusky rams
with Owen Malser, who has done a fantastic job this
season as a tackling machine for the Rams, where they
(01:50:10):
pick up of nine to the twenty nine yard line,
so second down and to one. Bogner has a moment
there with ending Klaus and then comes back from the gun,
has a snaff, hands it off to Canapish, breaks for
(01:50:32):
a tackle and it takes it a calls for forty
yard line from then on the back you ro first down.
Caleb Francis over there to make that stop for the
day rams.
Speaker 16 (01:50:44):
Josh Hilman helping him out, but not before he gets
all the way up to the forty two yard line.
Speaker 2 (01:50:49):
So a couple of plays and uh twenty two.
Speaker 1 (01:50:54):
Yards first and ten four of mohawk as Bogner in
the gun has a snap and he fakes it. Now
he runs to the left side across the forty five
stud looks like the forty six. So, yeah, Ben Bogner,
he had plenty of energy and straints out there. I'll
(01:51:16):
make it the forty seven. Yeah, forty seven yard line.
So brings on a second down and five.
Speaker 16 (01:51:25):
Forty yards now for Ben Bogner on seven carries, thirty
eight for Caden bish On eight carries.
Speaker 1 (01:51:37):
Bogner from the gun has a snap, takes hand off
the frist and runs to the right side and gets
away from Shafer, spinning away and Ethan lewis able to
finally bring him down across the forty the yard line.
Looks like we do have a player down in Lucas
Ospaul for Umber Sandusky, it is a Matthew hunt acker
first down and osball. He is back up to his feet,
(01:52:00):
fortunately for Upper sand Dusky.
Speaker 16 (01:52:03):
Yeah, he's been slow getting up several times, and this
time he is kind of holding on to his helmet
and jaw I thought maybe it was equipment, But now
he's got his helmet off, so we'll just have to
keep an eye on him.
Speaker 2 (01:52:20):
Over on that far sideline.
Speaker 1 (01:52:21):
Yeah, he's been working hard out there when he's gotten
the opportunity for sure. All right, wild the ball at
the thirty nine yard line in Upper Urbatory from Mohawk
first and ten downten to nothing. First drive of the
third quarter. Three receivers a go while quarterback as a
snap booker fix handoff runs to the left side breaks,
one tackle comes in across the thirty five flag comes
(01:52:44):
out from behind.
Speaker 7 (01:52:45):
The play boat there with the keeper flag of the play.
Speaker 1 (01:52:51):
And it's old the Warriors there it is. So that's
the ten yard penalty. Nothing easy, Yeah, nothing easy tonight
to heys is a rivalry with Upper Sandusky. That's how
it usually goes in this battle.
Speaker 16 (01:53:12):
Yeah, And as I mentioned at the start of this broadcast,
this Upper Sandusky squad, uh, they started off, you know,
pretty pretty tough going this year, but they have been
coming on the last several weeks and showing some signs.
Speaker 1 (01:53:27):
Verse twenty from the forty nine across midfield step back
to Bogner face runs look like another flag because Bogner
is a stiff farm across the forty yard line and
then tackled right at the thirty five saw Parker over
there for per Sandusky.
Speaker 2 (01:53:41):
But all that is just elementary.
Speaker 1 (01:53:44):
Is it looks like a.
Speaker 16 (01:53:45):
Second holding on the right side of that offensive line. Yeah,
they've got procedure.
Speaker 2 (01:53:51):
Oh yeah, that's the slightly less of the two evils.
Speaker 7 (01:53:58):
Illegal procedure again, Yes, it got to be a five yard.
Speaker 16 (01:54:02):
Walk off, So it'll be first in fifteen rather than
getting most of the yardage and a little bit more
back off of that thirteen yard what would have been
a thirteen yard game. So it'll be first in fifteen
nine thirty seven to go ten to nothing. Upper Sandusky
with the surprising lead and as you mentioned, a logjam
(01:54:26):
in second place with three and one squad, so Upper
Sandusky trying to make things even tighter.
Speaker 2 (01:54:33):
From the forty sixty yard line. Snap is back here.
Speaker 1 (01:54:36):
Tom Bogner has the protection and throws it up and
yet caught by Mason Schimp near the forties five yard line.
That's a good play there for the Warriors. That's looking
more like how Mohawk's been playing this.
Speaker 16 (01:54:54):
Yeah, nine yard pass completion for Ben Bogner and ones
you mentioned he stayed in the pocket there. He was
given some time there were it was kind of collapsing
around him, but he stayed cool under pressure, completed.
Speaker 1 (01:55:08):
A nice pass.
Speaker 16 (01:55:09):
Mason Chimp making a nice catch second.
Speaker 1 (01:55:12):
Down and sixteen forty five yard line and Upper Territory
Mohawk at the bowl trailer get ten too. Nothing in
this third quarter first drive, Let's see Bogner has a snap,
rolls to the left and tries to set the feet.
Now he takes off her runs, tucks in hell and
then looks like kale Vince was the first to greet him,
and then multiple rams are in there to bring him down. Yeah,
(01:55:36):
Mason Shafer as well for Upper Sandusky. Good job for
the rams to diagnose that.
Speaker 7 (01:55:43):
Third down.
Speaker 16 (01:55:44):
Yeah, it looks like maybe a yard loss will give
officially kale Vince a tackle for loss.
Speaker 1 (01:55:49):
Pushed him back.
Speaker 16 (01:55:49):
Quite a ways, but of course the whistles blew for
the forward progress.
Speaker 1 (01:55:55):
It's it at third down and seventeen from the forty
six yard line under a to play in the third
quarter down ten to nothing.
Speaker 2 (01:56:02):
Is a mohawk in motion his end and plows at
the quarterback.
Speaker 1 (01:56:08):
Ben Bogner as a snap helmet high steps into the pocket,
throws at downfield.
Speaker 9 (01:56:15):
He a man, that's Woodland.
Speaker 1 (01:56:16):
Then he cuts into ten head rods on till the
soo Woodland able to go all the way for a touchdown.
Talk to you about the Central Ohio Farmers toll.
Speaker 16 (01:56:30):
Yeah, forty six yard touchdown play. Holy cow, Ben Bogner,
you know you can put points up quick. Came out
with the ball first drive of the second half and
made this a ball game right now.
Speaker 2 (01:56:43):
Heck of a play.
Speaker 16 (01:56:44):
And I'm not sure Kirk. There was nobody around him,
just a blown coverage there. I was looking and I
couldn't really see who maybe should have had that coverage,
but nobody picked him up come off of that wide
out position.
Speaker 1 (01:56:58):
So one bitreesy in for a whole brand carrion for
the point after snap bag kick is up for Kirie
area and it is short. Oh wow, period not good? Good?
Oh well, so on our Wilson tire scoreboard. It is
ten to six Upper Sandusky with the lead, but Mohawk
(01:57:19):
does have some points on the board, so we'll step
away bring you back seven thirty nine to go in
the third for Matthew's Hondaker Game of the Week.
Speaker 2 (01:57:27):

Speaker 1 (01:58:34):
High School football Magic ninety five nine ten to six.
Speaker 16 (01:58:37):
Is a score.
Speaker 1 (01:58:38):
As we set up for ohiose Abery and kickoff for
Brax and fish office right foot, and we're gonna get
a return across the twenty eight yard line for a
per Sandusky. It's across the looks like the thirty.
Speaker 7 (01:58:51):
Five there on the far side of Baldwood.
Speaker 1 (01:58:55):
All right, so we able to get a good return. Therefore,
Upper sand Dusky's all right, Upper sand Dusky. They gave
up some points but still got the lead up ten
to six with seven thirty three to kill another.
Speaker 16 (01:59:10):
Ayden Patresei on that tackle on about the thirty five
and a half yard line and first and ten for
the Upper Sandusky rams. See if we get another twenty
passes out of Justin Hyleman this half one hundred twenty four.
Speaker 1 (01:59:23):
Yards in from the thirty six. Yes, good, Justin hel
and he hands it off to the right side even Lewis. Yeah,
just no room over there. The Mohawk Warriors who were
ready for that play. Yeah, it looks like you stop
just to run at the line of scrimmage for no game.
Speaker 16 (01:59:39):
Yeah, it looks like absolutely no panic on the Mohawk
Warriors side of things. They're trying to get each other
fired up on that defensive side.
Speaker 1 (01:59:48):
Second down and ten from the thirty six, that bell
they whistle this with procedure. Yeah it is yep, illegal
procedure against the rams off for upper and dusky.
Speaker 2 (02:00:06):
Second and fifteen yep from the thirty one yard line.
Got their pass protection defense in.
Speaker 1 (02:00:19):
Trips to the near side, was to the left, quarterback
has a snaps and to the Martinez cross the thirty
yard line thirty five forty wrapped up from behind by
Jack Chirion. Yeah, good play right there, help from Elias Machianos.
But a flag comes out right there at the forty
yard line.
Speaker 16 (02:00:35):
Yeah, that flag is going to go against Brody Cox.
They got him basically tackled the defender in that situation,
and the official was right there. I think it was
Mason Schimpf that was the man that was submerged on
that play and he came up holding both hands up
and the flag was right behind him, so the official said, yeah,
I got you.
Speaker 1 (02:00:59):
Well there you go.
Speaker 16 (02:01:00):
Yeah, they're gonna they are. It was an advance on
the play, so they are going to market off from
where that foul occurred. So it will end up being
a second in seventeen second and eighteen maybe.
Speaker 1 (02:01:16):
From the twenty nine yard line, Upper sand Dusky leading
at ten to six. In this third quarter, Jess Almond
gets the snap off. The Blacks were faking passes to
Francis across the thirty thirty five yard line. Stiff arm
knocked at a bounder to forty.
Speaker 2 (02:01:28):
Yard line.
Speaker 1 (02:01:30):
When the treacy always involved in the play along with
Jack Singer or the Warriors.
Speaker 2 (02:01:38):
So push him out of boutance to stop the clock.
Speaker 1 (02:01:40):
Get six one to go hit this third quarter yell.
So looking at the third and seven, it appears from
the thirty nine yard line six forty one to go.
On the third Upper sand Dusky with that ten to
six lead, trips to the right wide receiver to the
(02:02:01):
left quarterback Justin Hammon has the snap, has the protection
he from Ethan Lewis, Roger step in and then he
gets corralled no roue, no way to get from Elias Loggiannis.
Good play for the Mohawk Warriors and bringing on fourth down.
Speaker 16 (02:02:15):
Yeah, Cayden bish also over there doing the job, and
the coaches were going absolutely crazy on that one. They
had trips to the right and they only had two
many in coverage over there, but the defensive pressure made
that all for not didn't matter with the tackle for
loss the sack.
Speaker 1 (02:02:34):
Yeah, so fourth down, twelve to go for the thirty
four yard line and uh so clearly a punting situation.
Josh Hommon, he is back there. That Derek Barry was
a little bit late getting set up on the line,
but you just barely.
Speaker 16 (02:02:50):
Got that off in time before the play clock expired.
Speaker 1 (02:02:53):
Punk goes across the thirty yard line and drips out
of bound either twenty five. Yeah, Pohawk's gotta be please.
Uh they get that football back and an opportunity to
take a lead on this drive.
Speaker 16 (02:03:09):
Yeah, if they're able to put a drive together here, Kirk,
then they can erase that ten point first half deficit.
Right now, they still trail by four. They got a
touchdown on their first drive of the second half. See
what they can do here? Miss that extra point, so
they will have to get another touchdown to take the
lead if they want to do it on this particular drive.
Speaker 1 (02:03:33):
So first and ten, twenty yard line on your side.
As a quarterback, Bogner, I'm the gun. It's right in
the belly of Caden Bish. It's across the thirty I
got about the thirty two yard line. If so, it's
four yards gay and river yep, leaving five and a
(02:03:57):
half to go in this third quarter.
Speaker 16 (02:04:00):
Yeah, Kirk, I see absolutely no signs of panic over there.
They're just kind of going about their work and trying
to get things done here in the second half. Put
the first half behind him, and they're just working on
this drive right now.
Speaker 1 (02:04:13):
Second at six thirty two yard live quarterback Boger has
a stap for a Mohawk dropping back, puts up a pass.
Let's see you.
Speaker 2 (02:04:19):
All what ups right in his hands.
Speaker 1 (02:04:22):
Parker Bousa with a tackle by makes some ship. Put
the cat yard life, big Matthew's nash. You're a first
tackle for Lawyers.
Speaker 7 (02:04:31):
That's the first tend for Mohawk.
Speaker 16 (02:04:35):
Forty two yards on that reception and the longest of
the night and a forty six yard actually a forty
six yard passed just priors, but over one hundred yards
now one hundred and eighteen yards for Ben Bogner in
passing he only had seventeen, so he's thrown for over
one hundred here in the second half.
Speaker 1 (02:04:55):
First of ten, twenty six yard line, quarterback Boner has
a stap for the rights, tucks it. Oh, can't get
away from Baldonman almost did, and he got some help
from a one mouth old with the keeper. Yeah.
Speaker 16 (02:05:08):
Baldwin with some real nice uh penetration on that play,
blew up the run and made sure that there wasn't
going to be a pass there from Bogner. He's had
been on target here in the second half, much more
so than he was in the first half. He's already
got three completions in three attempts, and he only completed
(02:05:28):
two out of eight in the first half.
Speaker 1 (02:05:33):
From the twenty sixty yard line, second down, under center,
Bogner has a snap, pitches the right side to on Patresy,
slips in the tacklers, and then finally wrapped up and
dropped near the sixteen yard line on Patres with a
(02:05:53):
good play there, Yeah, Ward able to make that tackle.
Reward for Hupper sent dusky. Yeah, is hard to uh
get down. He has such great balance.
Speaker 16 (02:06:05):
He's got that low center gravity and keeps the legs churning.
Got all that strength of a championship wrestler.
Speaker 1 (02:06:13):
Third and one, seventeen yard line in a red zone
under center, Bogner has a staff pinchures it, patreesy and
here he goes slow and looks like he's got enough
for the Matthew's honaker a first down to the thirteen,
your first and tend.
Speaker 16 (02:06:32):
Yeah, patresiuh not hanging his head. He had a couple
of plays go against him, a couple of tip passes
and uh off his hands that ended up as turnovers.
Speaker 2 (02:06:42):
But he's playing hard here in the second half VERSU.
Speaker 1 (02:06:44):
Ten here and they go right back to patrecy from
the thirteen and no one gets to the ten for
a three yard pick up. Yeah, and he is looking
so energized when he gets that pull.
Speaker 16 (02:06:56):
He's energized all the time. Kirk just love to watch
that style play. He gives you one hundred percent effort,
even when things don't go his way. He is always
out there giving it the maximum.
Speaker 1 (02:07:07):
Brig's on second down and seven from the ten Chevalier
at the center. Bogner's under him, gets a snap and
all Patrici drops up and then he may have landed
on let's see, he appears that he was able to
recover it all covered by.
Speaker 16 (02:07:27):
Yeah, it's gonna end up being a couple yard loss,
but just very fortunate to maintain possession here. Tried to
get the pitch, never had the handle on it. Did
the smart thing, dove right on top of it.
Speaker 1 (02:07:37):
Just get the ball back, get that possession for sure,
that's what you got. Let's do so. Uh yeah, Buttress
able to handle it there and makes a third town
and eight from the eleven in the red zone. The
Mohawk Warriors down ten to six, and this third quarter
upper on the quarterback Bogner's not cut snap, moves to
the left, didn't up the blicks there with a lot
(02:07:58):
with it and trying to look up there and then
just out of bounds, Cale Vince and Ethan Lewis over there.
Speaker 2 (02:08:09):
Now the officials had came off.
Speaker 16 (02:08:10):
I don't know if there was something else going on
over there on the sideline. There was kind of a
little extra porush after he went out of bounds, but
no penalty apparently so just lost the cap and we'll
go and retrieve that. So it'll be fourth down, and
do you try to kick it here? It looks like
they're gonna go for it fourth and aid from the
(02:08:32):
eleven three receivers, hell Lips in the formation, Bogner has
a snap, he's.
Speaker 1 (02:08:41):
Looking that direction, get some good blocking there from Chevalier
and lets it go. Feel toward the ends Shivelman and
cannot hang on off the figure tis Parker Bowser. He
able to get over there, and please stop that play.
Speaker 16 (02:08:58):
Defensively, they wanted to get some interference on that one,
but I think he arrived right when the ball arrived,
so uh, and he was going for the ball as well.
There was some contact there, but I think he was
looking back for that ball and he's got every right
to it as a defender as the offense does just
(02:09:18):
as well. So turnover on downs. I believe that's the
third time tonight and the Upper Sandusky defense bent in
that situation, did not break.
Speaker 1 (02:09:30):
Yeah, so leaving one six on the third quarterclock. Okay,
back at their own twelve yard lineuper dusty, but I
don't take that four point lee.
Speaker 7 (02:09:45):
Thank you to Knicks Lunch service.
Speaker 1 (02:09:47):
And Justin Hollman from the pistol and the snap back
hands it off here to Cayden Vocal and he's able
to make his way to the fifteen three yard pickup
for Vocal for a per se.
Speaker 16 (02:10:02):
Dusky as he was getting stood up, saw a couple
of people come in trying to tomahawk that ball out.
But good job hanging on uh for the offensive player
there and picking up car three four yards.
Speaker 20 (02:10:19):
I've just received a text message Jagger Danner will be
doing the kicking for Jason.
Speaker 1 (02:10:27):
So second down and seven service, final minute here in
the third person, Dusky own fifteen yard line, one in
motion and as Francis quarterback, and you get a penalty flag.
Speaker 2 (02:10:42):
Oh it's a delay, a game.
Speaker 7 (02:10:45):
Dead ball delay, a game against the Rada.
Speaker 16 (02:10:49):
Every yard couch down here, Kirk, because you're down inside
your own twenty yard line. So that'll take it back
to about the ten yard line where they'll have.
Speaker 1 (02:11:00):
And twelve.
Speaker 22 (02:11:03):
There.
Speaker 1 (02:11:04):
It is forty three seconds left in the third uper
Santusky with the four point leads yes, the second down
and twelve from the ten quarnerback Holman as a snap
helm and I hands it off Ethan Lewis right sides.
There are warriors over there to stop him right around
the twelve yard live.
Speaker 16 (02:11:24):
Lewis little extracurricular down there, and I'm not sure who
they got it on, but it looks like he's pointing
against Mohawks. Yeah, that could be very costly. See what
the indication is personal foul? Yet's it personal file against
what's going to be a first down? I believe with
(02:11:44):
the yardage because that was a dead ball play. So
it's uh, he was back to the original line of scrimmage,
So you get another coach wants an explanation on the
sideline for Mohawk Russ Russell Hall is very satisfied with
his squad's efforts so far.
Speaker 1 (02:12:06):
Tonight, Eric Daniel still has some questions.
Speaker 7 (02:12:09):
First, the rams So a.
Speaker 16 (02:12:12):
Fifteen yard penalty from the spot of the foul moves
it all the way up to the twenty seven yard line.
Speaker 22 (02:12:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:12:20):
So yeah, just as you know the results of Matthews
hontack your first down, final nineteen seconds of the third.
Speaker 2 (02:12:29):
Upper sand Dusky does not have to snap it.
Speaker 1 (02:12:36):
Indication there will be no snaps the final second stick
down and there is the end of the third quarner.
So on our Wilson Tires scoreboard. It's Upper San Dusky ten,
Mohawks six. It'll be decided in the fourth, So I'm

High school football Mangic ninety five nine. Starting off the
fourth corner, it is ten to six up sand Dusky
with the lead and the football first and ten twenty
seven yard live as we switch in the start off
the fourth coming with a snap, takes the handoff and
then pitches it underneath to Brovi Cox and the Warriors
(02:14:32):
were ready for that. The logan Hemminger was there for
the Warriors. Hayden Parker also in there for Mohawky.
Speaker 16 (02:14:43):
Yep, sure was I think technically we're gonna call out
a shovel pass? Was a forward pass? He was in
the backfield, but yet it's a three yards forward. So
second and nine after the one yard pickup.
Speaker 1 (02:14:59):
Yeah, from the twenty eighty yard line, snap back to
Heilman has it off here to Ethan Lewis where to go.
Brex and Rathber in there make that stop for the
Mohawk Warriors and.
Speaker 7 (02:15:16):
Parker with the tackle.
Speaker 2 (02:15:21):
Actually a tackle for loss. There, so third and.
Speaker 1 (02:15:23):
Ten right on back at the twenty seven yard lime,
So that's what mohawk wants. If they can get one
more stop, they'll be looking to get the football back.
The zupper has that ten to six league in motion.
Francis quarterback Halman has a snap, sets up a past
(02:15:45):
dear side and it is caught by Josh Holman here
at the thirty eight yard line, and it is Matthew's
hondaiakira first down right there at the thirty eight Yes, indeed,
so hey sticks he move and keeping this drive alive,
keeping the ball out of the hands of the Warriors
(02:16:06):
and Ben Bogner. All right, so let's see first and
ten thirty seven the yard line. Justin Holman calls for
it and has it the quarterback for a first sand
Dusky sends the feed, passes over to Max Martinez, crossed
(02:16:28):
the forty forty five shummed out of bound Hayden.
Speaker 7 (02:16:32):
Parker complete to Martinez.
Speaker 2 (02:16:35):
Looks like enough for another Matthews hondaker a first down.
They will move the change. Yeah, now, given that indication
to the forty eight.
Speaker 1 (02:16:44):
Yard line near side hash ten thirty two to go
in the fourth up for trying to add to the
four point lead. Th Reseris are left one to the right.
Quarterback Justin Hollman was profishing at sometimes drawing aggressive defenders
(02:17:06):
across early as a snap.
Speaker 2 (02:17:07):
Here swings it out.
Speaker 1 (02:17:09):
Francis has some blockers all when he gets tripped up
across the midfield, looked like, yeah, it was MP over
there right at the forty seven yard.
Speaker 2 (02:17:22):
Line, Berdie Cox having to come out of the ball game.
Speaker 16 (02:17:26):
He came up gimpy on that one, jumping around lightly
on that right foot, raising it up as he was
one of the blockers involved in that. They line up
three receivers on the one side and then drop one
back and he was one of the receivers blocking on
that for the six yard pickup.
Speaker 1 (02:17:46):
Second and five from the forty seven. Here's a quarterback
Heilman passed. Dear's all the fingertips of Francis on the
near side hash at the forty five yard lines. Drew
Woodland there and coverage for the Mohawk Warriors stops the
clock at nine forty six worth quarter. That's the.
Speaker 16 (02:18:11):
First incompletion of the second half. Justin Hoyman coming out
red hot again. Five out of his first six. He's
up to one hundred and fifty total yards passing tonight.
Speaker 1 (02:18:19):
Third down and five forty seventy yard line in Mohawk territory.
Upper with the ball snap is back to Justin Hollman
eludes a rush. We can't get away from them all,
so anding Klous among some other Warriors there in midfield
for the loss.
Speaker 16 (02:18:37):
Yeah, real, nice job Klaus again that he's been putting
that pressure on. So another tackle for loss and that
brings up a fourth down. Looks like the punning unit's
coming out.
Speaker 1 (02:18:51):
Josh Holman. He is setting up back there in there
hunting formation. Drew Woodland back in angle safety for the
Mohawk Warriors. Klaus has done a good job getting the
ball away from him most of the time. I was
back at that pun is up in the air, a
(02:19:12):
nice high one oh with an office chest uh oh,
and it looks like it may have been recovered by Baldwin. Yep,
Upper Sandusky's got the ball over the ball, Oh my goodness.
Speaker 2 (02:19:23):
It's going to be at the ten yard line. Kirk
Well Drew.
Speaker 1 (02:19:27):
Woodland, we know he had the big touchdown catch and
I don't know if this time on the punk got
it lost in the likes or what. He's got an
excellent pair of hands, but uh yeah, sort of bounced
off his chest there and h Upper Sandusky, Oh yeah,
that was uh yeah. The Rams were ready to pounce,
(02:19:49):
so yeah, it.
Speaker 16 (02:19:50):
Looked like he was settled under it, then at the
last minute made an adjustment and kind of lunged backwards
for it and could not handle.
Speaker 1 (02:19:58):
So first the goal, I'm the ten Upper Sandusky with
the ten to six lead in the fourth Haman as
a snap passed or the exol to Josh in complete
Bogner over there defensively for Bohawk second down, suck you down.
Speaker 16 (02:20:18):
Well, one thing's for certain tonight. Kirk Upper is not
afraid to throw that ball. They have thrown twenty seven
passes tonight.
Speaker 1 (02:20:27):
Not at all. And you think about Justin Hollman his
first season quarterback. He actually took two seasons off from football,
comes back to play this position and he's doing well.
Speaker 2 (02:20:41):
Taking over for Cayden Holman. I'm not sure what the
indication is here.
Speaker 16 (02:20:47):
They were pointing towards the Mohawk Warriors defense side, but
just kind of clarifying some things their the officials are
satisfied with it.
Speaker 1 (02:20:57):
So we'll do it again. Forty three to go into
fourth Upper Sandusky trying to add to a ten to
six lead.
Speaker 2 (02:21:03):
It's a second end goal from.
Speaker 1 (02:21:05):
The ten yard line. Mohawk needs a stand defensively in motion.
It is Cocks quarterback Holman hands it off Ethan Lewis
right side and even it stops inside the ten.
Speaker 2 (02:21:21):
Looks like he got to the eighth, but we've got
a penalty flag.
Speaker 16 (02:21:25):
Oh and PATREESI believes I've been held, and sure enough
it's true. He claps the hand, saying, good job, officials,
you caught it. And every yard down here, of course
is precious. Kirk here all the way backed up to
your own ten yard line. Now it goes back to
(02:21:45):
the twenty, so it'll be.
Speaker 7 (02:21:49):
Off.
Speaker 16 (02:21:50):
Second goal from the twenty, late substitution for the for
Sandusky rams. They get things organized and Josh Heilman comes
out and comes all the way across the field, just
set up in the white out all right.
Speaker 1 (02:22:11):
So here we go. Second goal from the twenty. Quarterback
Justin Holman passed near side west with a catch in
Woodland with a massive hit for the Mohawk Warriors. Wow.
Woodland just at least some raids out there on that here.
Goodness College.
Speaker 16 (02:22:28):
Yeah, he hit him at the seventeen, carried him back
all the way to the nineteen in the air.
Speaker 1 (02:22:33):
I mean he just laid laid him out.
Speaker 16 (02:22:36):
Kaylen francis doing a great job hanging on to that ball,
and he's going to take an extra breath here in
the backfield back on the thirty. Both hands went to
his knees for just a moment. He said, Okay, I
just got hit by a mack truck, all right.
Speaker 1 (02:22:49):
So let's see third and goal from the seventeen yard line.
Heilman has a snap, great protection, gonna pass up in
the air. Let's see diving for.
Speaker 16 (02:22:57):
An incomplete intended for Max Martinez and good coverage over
there for Mason Shimp underneath and Ben Bogner on the top.
Speaker 1 (02:23:08):
So they had.
Speaker 2 (02:23:11):
Below and deep coverage there. They're going to try and down.
Speaker 1 (02:23:18):
Yeah, when you've got a weapon like Kobe Bidle Cheese,
you might as well. He made one from twenty five
yards out earlier.
Speaker 7 (02:23:26):
This time the hold.
Speaker 1 (02:23:27):
Going for twenty seven yarder.
Speaker 2 (02:23:31):
Wind's kind of coming in his face.
Speaker 1 (02:23:33):
Here though Kurt pulled it, nor.
Speaker 16 (02:23:40):
Pulled it intoor. Combination with the wind as I mentioned,
wind in his face. He was on the very close
to the near hashmark and had to kick it back
into that wind, and it was far enough. It just
pulled just a little bit right. So they lead maintained
ten to six turnover round downs.
Speaker 1 (02:23:59):
Yeah, that would have been thirty four on that one.
Speaker 16 (02:24:02):
Thirty four yard attempt. He made a twenty seven yard
or earlier. I think I gave him credit for a
twenty five. But upstairs they have a lot more time
and patience for the statistics, and they had him for
a twenty seven yard completed field goal earlier.
Speaker 1 (02:24:18):
And it's still ten to six. So first and ten,
here we go, Mohawk Warriors still with a chance down
four quarterback Booger as a snap. He knows how to
run it, and the Rams know that, and they were
able to get on top of them. Owen Mouser, good
play there from firsand Dusky right there to the twenties.
Speaker 16 (02:24:39):
Oka still plenty of time, Kirk third quarter action check
that apologize just a wayback machine there. I was looking
at timeouts rather three timeouts each instead of the quarter slot.
Speaker 1 (02:25:04):
Second down and seven, Yeah, problem the twenties. So Boger,
he's got the ball on the snap pass fart all
that's up the mark in complete looking force him stops
the clock at six forty eight.
Speaker 16 (02:25:19):
Yeah, this this is a very important drive for the
Mohawk Warriors. That's the first incompletion of the second half
for Ben Bogner carry and Colonel Crawford. Just hearing that
score come across the PA announcer ten all with Colonel
Crawford and Carrie.
Speaker 1 (02:25:41):
So the Eagles tied that game with the Devil's third
down and seven to twenty yard line. Here Mohawk Warriors
trying to get ten to six late in this fourth quarter,
Boger has a shockut snap as to the left, eh,
and he can't get away from the ball. The rams
are there, multiple players including Cale Vince Lewis.
Speaker 2 (02:26:04):
Also saw Mason Schafer over there.
Speaker 16 (02:26:07):
One Mouser as well. Yeah, there were four people surrounding them.
Speaker 1 (02:26:10):
Oh my goodness.
Speaker 22 (02:26:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:26:12):
Yeah, just couldn't find an open receiver downfield.
Speaker 16 (02:26:15):
It's fourth down, so they're gonna have to punt it
away here, try to play the field position game.
Speaker 1 (02:26:25):
As we're heading.
Speaker 2 (02:26:26):
Toward the six minute to marw of the fourth quarter.
Speaker 16 (02:26:29):
Yep, you wouldn't think there'd be any trickery here on
fourth and sixteen penalty flag.
Speaker 1 (02:26:35):
Though the penalty flag, let's see.
Speaker 16 (02:26:37):
Procedure that's gonna make it fourth and a little bit more.
Speaker 20 (02:26:43):
Dead ball procedure against the Warriors five yard penalty.
Speaker 16 (02:26:49):
Still for that'll take them all the way back to
their own ten yard line. So Bogner will in all
likelihood kick it from right around the goal line. See
if they try to put on a block here for
the upper Sandusky rams that could change things quickly, or
if they just go for the field position and the return.
Speaker 2 (02:27:09):
Ball is actually spotted back at the nine yard.
Speaker 1 (02:27:12):
Line just inside that ten absolutely all right. With six
o two to go in the fourth zaps back and
Oger with a pod goes over the head of Josh.
Speaker 2 (02:27:27):
How Josh, that's a heck.
Speaker 1 (02:27:30):
Of an f forty and it rolls across the thirty
five and rests near to thirty three. Yes, indeed, so
Humper Sandusky with the ball still with the lead ten
to six, with five forty times to go in the
fourth corner, goug needs that ball.
Speaker 16 (02:27:51):
Back forty six yard punt at the time that he
absolutely needed on cork one. He had a pretty decent
punt in the air it away from Heilman. Heilman was
way up and he went over his head and had
a great role about another fifteen yards.
Speaker 1 (02:28:11):
First and ten thirty four yard line near side hash
of for Sandusky with a ball up, four snappers back
Homan brig release left side of Brody Hanks and he
is bucked down Garrett Whiteheart. We have the a line
of scrimmage. Yeah, so a completion but no gain. Second down,
(02:28:37):
end ten with five and a half to go in
regulation for Sandusky. Would love to work some clock here.
Let's see second down in ten here thirty four yard line.
Your side receiver is Josh Howman. Caleb Francis goes in motion,
sets up in this lock. Oh, now looks like Ethan
(02:28:58):
lewis ready to take a rec snap and he does.
Speaker 2 (02:29:02):
And delay of game possibly.
Speaker 20 (02:29:06):
Procedure, dead ball, illegal procedure against the Rams.
Speaker 7 (02:29:16):
Five yard penalty still suck you down.
Speaker 1 (02:29:23):
Yeah, Well, with every penalty in a situation like this,
it keeps some hope alive for the Mohawk Warriors.
Speaker 16 (02:29:32):
Bring in the past defense, take out the big beef
eaters down front, and get some guys that are maybe
a little quicker to get back to that quarterback second
to fifteen to twenty nine yard line rec snap again.
Speaker 1 (02:29:45):
Ethan Lewis does take it on the gun op man.
The Warriors already Buxton Frift.
Speaker 22 (02:29:51):
So I'll get his hands on there.
Speaker 1 (02:29:53):
Heart goes over there as well, Lewis, and or Patres
of course he always pile Yeah, yeah, yeah, just about right.
Speaker 2 (02:30:03):
So PATRESI he is so good.
Speaker 1 (02:30:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 16 (02:30:08):
If there's a ball to be sniffed out, PATREESI finds
a way to use the hound dog scent.
Speaker 1 (02:30:14):
He goes after it. I'm always arounder ten tackles per
game this season. So third down and long about eighteen
here for the twenty six hears on up for Sandusky.
Let's see it. Justin Hollman has a snap under pressure,
long passed down the field one on one, and did
he get his hands underneath it? Martinez? What a count?
(02:30:35):
Yes he did, right around the forty five yard line.
That's cooking for a Matthew sandiakera first down from for Sandusky,
and if the Rams hold on in this game, that's
a play to remember.
Speaker 16 (02:30:48):
Twenty nine yard completion. I believe that's the longest of
Martinez tonight. He's over one hundred yards receiving Kurk nine
receptions one hundred.
Speaker 1 (02:30:58):
Two yards excellent war excellent Twitter. He's been at this
a while, Max Marti Days certainly represents Supper Sandusky. Well, okay,
so first down and ten forty five you are line
in Mohawk territory, and I think we're going to get
a time out. Yes, Supper one credit in time out,
(02:31:20):
three and a half to go in the fourth or
what's the time scoreboard? It is ten to six percent.
Let's give it a lead at Mohawk. I'll bat you
ninety five nine and our radio.
Speaker 29 (02:31:29):

High School Football Magic ninety five nine. Ethan Lewis with
the throw on this one, getting into Tayleb Francis dusky
and we'll just stop shy of the forty.
Speaker 2 (02:32:44):
Five yard line. Got a player on the field.
Speaker 16 (02:32:47):
It's like a crant yep and that's believe that's Caleb Francis,
the person who caught that pass, and it is I
see his number seven.
Speaker 1 (02:32:56):
Now score is ten to six in favor of upper
seed dusk Age with three twenty to go in this
fourth quarter. Yeah, so they will tend to him right now.
Francis on his back. Certainly his right leg it appears
(02:33:23):
being stretched out by the athletic trainer Larwren Ritchie and
he has helped to his feet. But you have a
bit of an awkward gait as he heads back, so
apparently in some discomfort, but he is up on his feet.
Speaker 16 (02:33:44):
Leg cramp will see him back again, but he's got
to go over and try and do some quick hydration there.
Speaker 2 (02:33:52):
Certainly could help.
Speaker 1 (02:33:54):
Meanwhile, three twenty to go in the fourth quarter, ball
placed at the forty six yard line in Mohawk territory.
Second down and eleven ruppers said dusky justin Hollman back
out there ready to receive a snap, and he's got it,
hands it off to Ethan Lewis bounces the right side
(02:34:16):
cross the forty yard line thirty five forty yards fucking
head and he's pushed out a bounds near the fifteen
by Jack Segar.
Speaker 16 (02:34:24):
Lewis with carry wow tiptoed his way all the way
down to the twelve. So at the thirty four yard run,
and good job by Hilman the quarterback.
Speaker 2 (02:34:36):
He did a good job selling that one. Handed the
ball off, but then came up and.
Speaker 16 (02:34:40):
Looked like he was throwing and froze a couple of
people just enough to get some room on that right
side and doing the rest.
Speaker 1 (02:34:51):
What a run, first hand.
Speaker 2 (02:34:54):
Ten from the twelve.
Speaker 1 (02:34:56):
Ailman with a snap, hands it off Ethan Lou slips down,
then it runs right into.
Speaker 2 (02:35:03):
Car as we get a time maul mohawk brought to

to go in the.

As we bring you back, second and eleven from the
twelve Upper Sandusky with the ball late in the fourth
and they step it back handed off to Ethan Lewis.
Speaker 2 (02:36:25):
Tras has been around but not getting away.
Speaker 1 (02:36:27):
From get rid to right hard Gary right there at
the h fifteen yard live so the Mohawk calling for
another cross Federal credits Union time out.
Speaker 2 (02:36:39):
With two fifty eight.
Speaker 16 (02:36:41):
To co in the fourth, just one time out remaining. Kirk, So,
if they are able to get a first down here
Upper Sandusky, that could be the ballgame. I mean, first
of all, you'd be first in goal if they are
able to do so. Right now it's third and thirteen,
but all important down right here. If you're able to
(02:37:04):
stop them, you can at least keep them to only
a field goal try. If they just choose not to
go for it on fourth down, it probably will just
depend on how close they get to that first down.
Speaker 7 (02:37:17):
Either way, you're.
Speaker 16 (02:37:19):
Looking at at least a four point deficit, possibly a
seven point deficit, and of course, if it gets in
the end zone, that's going to be the ballgame.
Speaker 1 (02:37:30):
Okay, Well, here's the centum with two fifty eight to go.
Hit the fourth.
Speaker 16 (02:37:38):
They've been able to make tackle for losses on two
out of the last three plays and many plays this half.
Speaker 2 (02:37:44):
They need another one here.
Speaker 1 (02:37:46):
Third down, thirteen fifty yard line. Here we gonna stap
bag ended off etn Lewis ram right there. So see
they're the uh well, perhaps looks.
Speaker 16 (02:38:01):
Like they're gonna hang on to that last timeout. Let
them kick the ball here. If they are going to
kick it, we'll see they haven't made a decision on
the Upper Sandusky side of things. They could wait till
it gets down to one second and call the timeout,
and I'm gonna guess that's what's gonna happen.
Speaker 2 (02:38:20):
Yeah, that's a sound strategy.
Speaker 1 (02:38:22):
Absolutely.
Speaker 2 (02:38:26):
Then they can attempt.
Speaker 16 (02:38:27):
If you're looking at a field goal attempt, this would
be a thirty yarder from just about the same angle
that he was pulled the last one from. They do
call the time out two minutes, thirteen seconds left to go.
Speaker 1 (02:38:41):
Wow, how about this question for our pretty nion time
out here? Two thirteen to go in this fourth quarter? Yes, indeed,
ten to six is the score. Upper Sandusky would like
to add to it again, if it is a field goal,
that's probably good use for mohawk Ze keeps things in play. Obviously,
(02:39:03):
if they go for the touchdown and don't get it.
That is dangerous for Upper Sandusky because of Ohawk could
go the other way and potentially win it. They bring out.
Speaker 2 (02:39:12):
Number ninety nine Kobe Batoshitz. He's gonna go for that
field goal.
Speaker 1 (02:39:18):
As I said, well, looks like.
Speaker 16 (02:39:19):
They're gonna spot it on the nineteen, so that would
be a twenty nine yard attempt.
Speaker 1 (02:39:28):
Here we go, snap his bag, kick us up for
bottle cheeze yo wow.
Speaker 16 (02:39:39):
Made it by about three yard cal down.
Speaker 22 (02:39:43):
So he's able to get that twenty nine yard or so.
Speaker 1 (02:39:46):
On our Wilson Tires score board, it is thirteen two
six for Sandusky. Adds to the lead on Mohawk to
await to go in the ford. Do the Warriors have
a drive to maybe tie up this game? Find out
for Matthew's hown acurate Game of the Week. I'm Matic

Speaker 32 (02:40:04):
Some of the things that we're doing in this profession
is that we are handing off. We are pushing down
the line small businesses. We're pushing down the line the
family homestead. We are passing a legacy onto those family
members and if they don't quite appreciate the responsibility and
accountability that comes with that and they get it too soon,
(02:40:26):
then it can be destructive in a way that you
almost wish you just hadn't done any transferring at all.
And so when you're doing these things and there's big
ticket items involved, you certainly don't want to hand that
all off to just get it out the door. There's
always going to be tax implications to what you do,
but it only needs to be a part.
Speaker 16 (02:40:45):
Of that plan.
Speaker 1 (02:40:53):
High school football Magic ninety five to nine. The score
is thirteen six after Kobe Battlegees extends the lead for
the Upper Sandusky Rams and he will prepare for the
House of University at Marrion kick cof Here he comes on.
He approach, swings through with the left foot and this
(02:41:14):
one I bouncer over to thirty, taking it to twenty five.
Here we go on the return or mohawk off the
thirty yard line. Caden Fish forty forty five. Big return
for Caden Fish. We're looking at where fifty seven to go.
Speaker 16 (02:41:32):
Geez with the stop and there was a great hit
by Bible Chiefs and we got the right. There were
the extra curriculars and they're pointing against the Oh my god,
for Sandusky Rams. For some extra curriculars on the sideline afterwards.
I don't know if this is for excessive celebration, taunting, what,
(02:41:54):
but they're discussing it with the officials.
Speaker 1 (02:41:57):
On the sideline right now. What the indication is?
Speaker 7 (02:42:01):
Dead ball personal.
Speaker 20 (02:42:03):
File against Upper Sandusky fifteen yard penalty Mohawk ball first
and ten.
Speaker 16 (02:42:11):
Quite frankly, Kirk, it looked like the Upper Sandusky players
were just excited and congratulating. I don't know if maybe
somebody's stepped on somebody over there or what, But nonetheless,
this is going to be in favor of Mohawk, and
they're going to get the ball all the way down
on the Upper Sandusky thirty six yard line. They had
it up to their own forty nine, but now it's
(02:42:32):
on the upper thirty six.
Speaker 1 (02:42:35):
So interesting here. Let's see first and ten, thirty six
yard line down the touchdown Mohawk. Can they stay in
first place? Well, they will stay in first place, but
will they be joined j Just Booker on the run.
Then he takes it to the thirty one five yard
game there forbidding stop. We get down the one forty
(02:42:57):
three remaining Mohawk Warriors. Let's see if they've got something
left here, and they'd love to get this game into overtime. Ramps.
Second down and five thirty one yard line, Bogner shot
cutting snap hasn't rolling to the right under pressure.
Speaker 2 (02:43:12):
From Cocks against them.
Speaker 1 (02:43:15):
Rony Conks who want to play with the sad rupper
Sandusky back behind the thirty five yard line.
Speaker 16 (02:43:24):
Yep, back to the original line of scrimmage. After that
five yard pickup, five yards taken away.
Speaker 1 (02:43:34):
So brings on third down and ten from the thirty six.
Bogner has a snap protections better this time, puts up
in the air on a complete trying to get into
klown over in the fifteen yard line. Incomplete, So fourth
down with fifty eight seconds left.
Speaker 7 (02:43:53):
Fourth down.
Speaker 1 (02:43:57):
All comes down to this play. Kirk.
Speaker 16 (02:43:59):
It's pretty much time. You got to get the ten yards,
no way around it at their own or the upper
Sandusky thirty six yard line. Need to get it past
that twenty six yard line marker. Fifty eight seconds remaining,
but everything could end right.
Speaker 1 (02:44:20):
Here, fourth and ten, thirty six yard line. Booger, he's
got the snap. He needs to play here all day
whistle wow oh, and it looks like a legal procedure
against the offense.
Speaker 7 (02:44:31):
Dead ball illegal procedure against the Warriors. Five yard penalty remain.
Speaker 1 (02:44:37):
So this has just become five yards harder for Mohawk
as a ball spotted at the forty one yard line. Well,
this is what the players dream of to have situations
like this. One play got a half.
Speaker 16 (02:45:00):
See what Eric Daniel has in the toolbox.
Speaker 1 (02:45:02):
Here fourth to fifteen, forty one yard line. Three receivers
to the right quarterback Bogner. He's got the snap block
here from Bush in the line. Stepping up, Bogner throws
that Dewnfield up in the air. Would cut it?
Speaker 9 (02:45:15):
No, they see it complete rule incomplete.
Speaker 1 (02:45:22):
Wow, it was close. But the official, he said he
patted his right hand on the field, said that ball
went down.
Speaker 2 (02:45:32):
Hit the ground.
Speaker 16 (02:45:33):
He must have trapped it looked like a heck of
an effort. But it must have been juggled or hit
the ground and that cannot help.
Speaker 1 (02:45:40):
You catch that ball. Wow, that was so close.
Speaker 2 (02:45:45):
So it just goes down as an incompletion.
Speaker 16 (02:45:47):
The ball comes all the way back to the forty
one yard line forty eight seconds and Mohawk cannot stop
the clock. They will have to snap the ball one
time and just depending on when they you're gonna just
take a knee here.
Speaker 1 (02:46:03):
Yeah, absolutely, you're gonna do that, no messing around, snappings back,
and yes, the quarterback, Justin Hollman.
Speaker 2 (02:46:12):
Indeed takes that knee.
Speaker 1 (02:46:14):
What a season for the senior, his first season as quarterback,
and he played for this program as a freshman to
two seasons off. Certainly we've enjoyed watching him in the
basketball season. Also plays football with his brother Josh. And
right now the upper said Dusky Rams, making certainly the
(02:46:37):
Sinegese Tigers happy, as the Tigers will join Mohawk in
first place and potentially carry our last score. We saw
the Blue Devils with the lead on Colonel Crawford and
that's the final there we get the.
Speaker 22 (02:46:49):
Staff, Dad is the knee.
Speaker 1 (02:46:50):
Indeed the final ten seconds, roll down, hugs all around
for the Rams, upper said Dusky. For the first time
I'm in the inten era gets a win here at
Warrior Field. It is over Huppers and Dusky thirteen Mohawk six.
(02:47:10):
The Bullhok Warriors now will be joined in first place
by Seneca East and either Carrie or Colonel Bufford. Carrie
did have the lead the last time we saw us
Gore so if this in ten race has just gotten
tighter and the Bowhog Warriors will be getting ready for
the carry Blue Devils. But look at the uppers hit
(02:47:31):
Dusky Rims celebrating and they should they heard it.
Speaker 2 (02:47:36):
Yeah, well deserved victory.
Speaker 16 (02:47:38):
They came out, they were fired up from the get go,
came out just stunned this homecoming crowd. On the very
first drive of the ballgame, quarterback Hilman Justin Hyelman, completing
five of his first five passes, missed one, but his
next one was good for a five yard touchdown that
(02:47:59):
made it seven to nothing, and they were able to
get a field goal from Kobe Bidelecheese and it was
a twenty seven yarder that made it ten to nothing
in half, and they really made it stand up. They
were able to add one more field goal on a
fourth quarter drive, putting the Mohawk in a door drive
(02:48:20):
touchdown or go home, And unfortunately for the Mohawk Warriors,
they're going to go home in a tie for first
place rather than holding sole possession of first place, and
unfortunately disappointing this very big homecoming crowd. They came out
in force tonight. It was a beautiful night weatherwise, but
(02:48:41):
just not able to get things done. Down their top
two players for the Mohawk Warriors. They had a good effort,
they had some signs of life, but I think just
too many mistakes, especially in that first half.
Speaker 1 (02:48:54):
Kurt absolutely yes, indeed, so that's.
Speaker 22 (02:48:59):
Not like Goes.
Speaker 1 (02:49:00):
It is football and this knight belongs to the Upper
Sandusky Brands.
