Administrative Professionals Day, So to all of our ADMIN professionals,
thank you for what you do. Take the day off.
No important people need them. Oh well, all right, just

(00:25):
offering it. I think there are a lot of executives
that honestly wouldn't know how to function with their ADMIN
and I professionals working with them. I know a few of.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Those executives, you know, executives that couldn't do anything.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
Yeah, doing it for them the right hand person. Yeah,
I mean they are the gatekeepers, they are the organizers.
They are the machine that helps that larger picture work.
They make their bosses look good. So if you are
a boss, take a moment today to tell your admin
how much you appreciate what they do. Gotta do it
all right. We're at eight seven seven nine, eight one

(00:57):
oh nine to eight one. We have more chances for
you to go see Heart today.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Yeah, pretty excited about the show. Tickets don't go on
sale until tomorrow, so again you're gonna be able to
win these tickets before they go on sale. Chance to
see Heart at the Chase Center August tenth, So be
here eight twenty for your next chance to win those.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
And coming up at six twenty five, it is the
Morning Breeze brain teas all right.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
According to a survey, nearly half of us have never
experienced this as a child. As a child, think about
it this way. There's experiences that you would think a
child would would have, but according to the survey, nearly
half of us never have.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
I feel like it might be like a family vacation,
something along those lines. Interesting close, No, okay? Eight seven
seven nine, eight one oh nine eight one. We're gonna
play the Morning Breeze brain Teas at six twenty five.
Here around the breeze Breeze, Morning Breeze with Carolyn and Court.

(01:55):
We are excited about this brain teas. Let's get right
into it. It's sponsored by my counsel Plumb. You are
in clean hands with my council Plumbing. You can see
them online at mc plumbing dot com. And we do
the Morning Breeze brain tees and invite you to play
along every weekday morning at six twenty five.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
According to a new survey, nearly half of us never
experienced this as a child.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
We know it's not going on family vacations. I strongly
hinted that it wasn't that. We don't know for sure. Okay,
it's not. Okay eight seven seven nine eight one oh
nine eight one. Jennifer and San Lorenzo, good morning. What
do you think the answer is today?

Speaker 3 (02:34):
I'm seeing something like bad, like drinking alcohol or something.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Oh you know what, alcohol? That is good and that
number should be one hundred percent, shouldn't it? Jennifer? Right, Jennifer,
I'm not going to ask you if you did, But
if I were to ask you if you did, what
would your answer be? Oh?

Speaker 3 (02:53):
No, I didn't.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Okay, good, I definitely did not. I anyway, is that
the answer? That is not the answer. That is not
the answer we're looking for. All right, Jennifer, thank you
for listening.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
All right, thank you?

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Bye? Okay. Sharon in Larkspur, what do you think the
answer is? Sleepovers? All sleep a sleepover?

Speaker 4 (03:14):
Sharon?

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Do you remember those?

Speaker 4 (03:17):
I do?

Speaker 1 (03:18):
Those were the best? Who was your friend growing up
that had the best sleepovers? First and last name? Because
this is always funny, Kelly Tarvin, Kelly, it's always funny?
How is it always funny? What do you remember about
Kelly Tarvin's house?

Speaker 4 (03:32):
She never really told her parents we were there.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
They were sleepovers and her parents didn't know.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
Well, there was one sleepover where nobody's parents knew.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
We all.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
Somebody else's house.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
Yeah, and then we roam the streets, you know.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
Can we get that back? Then?

Speaker 1 (03:52):
I feel like we're all going to get in trouble
after this conversation. I seriously feel like we are going
to be in trouble if Kelly Tarvin's parents are listening
to that or Kelly, Oh my gosh, what a sleepover? Yeah,
I really love that answer. Is that the answer better?

Speaker 2 (04:07):
That's not the correct answer here. The correct answer, according
to the survey is nearly half of us have never
been grounded. We didn't get grounded when we were a child.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
I was never grounded. I was grounded.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
I think that Sharon and I made up for you
Court and Then's and especially Sharon hanging out with Kelly Tarbin.
She sounds like trouble. Yeah, Kelly Tarbin was trouble. It's
so much fun at the same time. Yeah, thanks for
colling in this morning. Yeah, that made for really fun
brain Tease.

Speaker 4 (04:37):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
It's the Morning Breeze Brain Teas and we do it
every weekday morning at six twenty five here on the
Morning Breeze and.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
Coming up at six point forty this morning here on
the Breeze, it's ask us anything. We have received a
question from one of our listeners that I think will
make everybody think this morning in the Bay area.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
Oh for sure, no matter where you live in the
Bay you're probably gonna have an answer for this.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
So we can't wait to do this one. Ask us anything,
coming up six p forty here on the Breeze.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
So if you haven't heard Heart coming to town August tenth,
playing at the Chase Center. Yeah, pretty exciting. Tickets don't
go on sale until tomorrow, but all week long we've
had your chance to win tickets to that show. In fact,
we'll do it again today, yes, eight twenty, so you
make sure you're here listening for your next chance to win.
It's the Morning Breeze with Carolyn and Court. And since
it is six forty one now, Carolyn, it's time for

(05:27):
you to ask us anything.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
Yes, a chance for you to call us, send us
an email, send us a talk back, and just ask
us whatever is on your mind. We're at eight seven,
seven nine eight one oh nine eight one. Today's ask
us anything comes from Keith, who listens in sand Ramon.
Thank you so much, Keith. He says, if you could
or he asks, if you could pick a city in
the Bay Area to live in aside from the one

(05:50):
that you currently live in, right, what city would you
live in? Okay? Yeah, I've thought about this, Okay, because
there are so many great cities, and I thought, am
I looking for places I could go hiking? Am I
looking for places that, you know, it's easy to get around,
like a bigger city like a San Francisco. But I've

(06:12):
decided that if I didn't live and conquered, I would
move to Pleasanton. I love Pleasanton, which is right next door. No,
it's free thirty miles away. That's right. I'm still still
figuring out geography here. It's okay, the East Bay is
not your strength. Nope, yet. I love Pleasanton because I

(06:32):
think Pleasanton has a really cute downtown area. It seems
like it's always sunny in Pleasanton. They've got Alameda County
fair Grounds. It's right by five eighty and six eighties.
You can get on the freeway super easy. Right, I'm
a fan. Yeah, I'm a fan of pleasant Plus I've
I've worked there before, so I just I love this.
I love the city in the town. So that's it

(06:53):
for me. How about you, Corny, Well, I think I
feel like I need to do more homework on this.
I'm still discovering partly in the Bay Area, so my
knowledge of all the cities is fairly limited. It's a
tough question for you. I wondered how you were going
to do with this one. Yeah. We In fact, we asked.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
This question on our Facebook page today so you can
participate as well. Tell us where you would like to live,
I said, Scillito. Oh godow the times, the times that
I have visited, and I've been there a handful of times,
I just thought to myself, it would be so fun
to live in this city.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
I don't know about full time. I don't know how
practical that is. Yeah, right, for financially you mean, well,
a lot of a lot of nice yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
But just living like on on those hillsides looking at
the water, it would be I think it would be great.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
And some people in Salcolito actually live on their boats
on the water. On their house boats. That would be
pretty great, pretty cool. Selena actually on our Facebook page
said she would choose Salcilito. So maybe you and Selena
can connect and you could be neighbors. It could be neighbors.
There are votes on our Facebook page Napa Valley absolutely
live or more. Hey, roel see a neighbor daily city

(07:58):
half Moon Bay. I totally get Half m Bay, Robert
said Morgan Hill because it reminds him of San Jose
in the seventies. Yes, so there's some great I mean,
it's fun to read through here. Benetsha, I love Benetia. Yeah,
so this is great. I love this conversation.

Speaker 4 (08:14):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
So good job to Keith in San Ramon for bringing
this question up on Ask Us Anything Anything, So join
that conversation on our Facebook page ninety eight one of
the Breeze. You can call us eight seven seven nine
eight one oh nine to eight one.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
Also, don't forget coming up on Friday, shortly after seven o'clock,
we will be naming a new Morning Breeze Person of
the Week. But we continue to search for those people
in the Bay Area doing good things but oftentimes not
being recognized for those things.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
There are so many people out there. I mean, I
feel like we all right now could think of at
least one person that we could nominate. So don't wait.
Nominate that person today, tell us about them, and then
listen Friday morning to see who our next Morning Breeze
Person of the Week is. We do it just after
seven o'clock. Get those nominations in at ninety eight one
the Breeze dot com. If it is the Morning Breeze

(09:00):
with Carolyn and Court, it is time for the Brighter Side.
We are at eight seven seven nine eight one oh
nine eight one. Brighter Side sponsored by Shreven Company, Luxury
time Pieces, fine Designers and Flawless Diamonds. A chance for
you to call us and tell us about the good
stuff that's happening in your life, things that you appreciate.
We want to hear from you. You can also send

(09:21):
us a talk back with our iHeartRadio app. Carolyn, We're
going to talk to Susan in San Francisco. Susan, what's
going on?

Speaker 3 (09:28):
Good morning? I just want to say that Brides's Day
of Mine is I won the I Love My School
on Cheerroll. I was voted for number one.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
Good for you, So, Susan what do you do at
the school?

Speaker 3 (09:40):
I am the manager in the kitchen. I cook for them.

Speaker 1 (09:44):
So tell us how you won.

Speaker 3 (09:45):
Well, they do a contest and they take a video
and they say why they liked the person so much.
And it was the special ed class that came in
and video taken all that and we won. They class
won five hundred dollars and I won five hundred dollars
the lunch room hero.

Speaker 1 (10:01):
That is so cool. So what school is this? June
Jordan's June Jordan? What city?

Speaker 3 (10:06):
San Francisco?

Speaker 1 (10:07):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (10:08):
Could you give a shout out to miss Davenport and
Ben because they're the one that nominated me, all right.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
So consider them shout it out. Yeah, and by the way,
what are you guys having for lunch today?

Speaker 3 (10:19):
Today? Is chicken burrito and turkey sewiches?

Speaker 1 (10:22):
That is fancy. We used to have cheese zombies and cokes.
Remind me what is a cheese zombie. Cheese zombie is
like a ball of dough, okay, cooked with a piece
of velveta in the middle in the ovens, so it's
perfectly soft yet crispy on the outside. You wash that
down with a coke for back in the day, above fifty.
Keep talking right. I knew I had you. I could
see it in your eyes. You should see chartz eyes

(10:44):
right now. He's like blazed over.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
And the burritos are actually good because they put roccamole
bean people. The guy want it everything that sounds so good.

Speaker 1 (10:53):
Yeah, what time do you start serving the Morning Breeze?

Speaker 3 (10:56):
Anytime you want to come here? Because I listen to you.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
Every day, so appreciate that. Thanks for calling in this morning.

Speaker 3 (11:02):
Thank you, you.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
Got it if you've got a brighter side for us
eight seven seven nine eight one, nine eight one.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
And on the way this morning, just a little over
an hour from right now, your next chance to win
tickets to see Heart at the Chase Center in August
will be giving those tickets away at eight twenty Here
on the Morning Breeze.

Speaker 1 (11:20):
For good Morning. It is the Morning Breeze with Carolyn
and Cord. Carolyn.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
I often feel like I live my life making mistakes
so that you don't have to, oh today so nice.
Today is one of those times where I'm going to
tell you a story. Let my mistakes guide your life.
Don't pull a cord. That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
I actually think of that daily but yes, can't wait
for goose guys.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
So if you ever realize that a friend of yours
looks like a celebrity, don't say anything.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
Well, you need to make sure the celebrity is hot first. Well,
that's or that they appreciate being likened to that celebrity.
I recently told a coworker of ours that I thought
she looked like a celebrity, and she was not happy
with it. I've done that. Who was the co worker?
I'm not going to tell you the coworker is. Can
you tell me off the air, I'll tell you off

(12:09):
the air. I can't wait. Okay, so I will tell
you this.

Speaker 2 (12:12):
I will tell you that she looked like Martha Plimpton,
who is a beautiful actress. She was on the Goonies.
She was one of the teenagers on the Goonies. She's
been in a bunch of different series.

Speaker 1 (12:23):
And I thought, wow, that was I know who the
co worker is by looking at this, and I mentioned
it court, Well, no, it's what was her response when
you said no, I don't think I do. That's a
tough one because once you've stepped in that you can't

(12:43):
step out.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
I still stand by my words, but it is that
it has forever changed our relationship.

Speaker 1 (12:50):
That's when it gets worse is when you when you
throw it out there and yeah, and you've said it,
and then they say, I don't think so then where
do you go. You can't say you know what you
don't You've already said it. You're right, So you chose
to stand by it and continue to let her know
she looks like Martha Plimpton. I think she does, and

(13:12):
I think you do too. She does also. I hope
she's not listening right now. I would like to know
the percentage of Breeze listeners that are now googling Mark
Martha Blinton.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
So she was in she was in a really great
series just ten years ago called Raising Hope.

Speaker 1 (13:29):
It doesn't matter what she did.

Speaker 2 (13:31):
She's hilarious, she's beautiful, like she's got I thought it
was a great comparison, but obviously not so again.

Speaker 1 (13:38):
You guys, this is how the conversation probably probably went.
Is he kept going and he's like, she's really funny.
She chose, but you said she looks like her. Martha
Plimpton's like, fine, yeah, she's good. I'm too good.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
I thought there was a similarity. I thought I would
recognize it, and that was the mistake. Hans are legit sweating. Now,
if you've ever done anything like that, we want to
hear from you. Eight seven seven nine one oh nine
to eight one. That is how you reach us.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
Hey, good morning the breeze.

Speaker 4 (14:10):
How do you nominate a person per person of the week?
What do you have to do?

Speaker 2 (14:15):
There's a form on our website that you go and
fill out and you tell us about the person and
then it goes into a system that comes to us.

Speaker 1 (14:23):
There's a link on our homepage. You click on it.
Answer a couple questions, their name, their email address, phone
numbers so we can reach them. Tell us why they're
so great?

Speaker 4 (14:32):
Okay, it's a sifter and launch puts all of her
time now since he's been retired at Animal Shelter and
NAPA and walks the dogs, you know, and does not
accept any money.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
So well, she would be a perfect person of the week.
She sure would be. Nominate her on our page, Steve,
that would be great.

Speaker 4 (14:50):
Yeah, it surprise.

Speaker 1 (14:51):
All right, Well, have a good day out there, you guys.

Speaker 4 (14:53):
Have you're great listening due.

Speaker 1 (14:56):
Thank you, thank you, We appreciate that, all right, see you,
bye bye. And again get your nominations in for our
Morning Breeze Person of the Week for this week ninety
eight one Theebreeze dot com Savage Garden here on ninety

(15:16):
eight point one The Breeze. It's eighth nine. You've got
the Morning Breeze with Carolyn and Court.

Speaker 3 (15:21):
Court.

Speaker 1 (15:21):
I have a question for you. Do you think you've
ever had a perfect day? I'm talking a day where everything,
if you could map it out, it was your perfect day.
I think I've I've had that a few times in
my life. Perfect day. Okay. I want to see if
your perfect day lines up with this because they think
they have found the formula for the best day ever.

(15:43):
They're calling it the best day ever formula. All right,
here's what it looks like. Six hours of family time,
all right, two hours with friends, one and a half
hours of socializing, two hours of exercise. That got a
little aggressive on that one, okay, one hour of eating
and drinking, less less than six hours of work, less

(16:06):
than one hour of screen time, and a fifteen minute
or less commute. They say that is your perfect day.

Speaker 4 (16:14):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (16:15):
What's interesting to me is you've got socializing there, and
you have time spent with friends yeah, and family, and
it seems to be separated from the socialize.

Speaker 1 (16:26):
Nine point five hours total.

Speaker 2 (16:28):
So that's a lot of time that if you put
it all together, that's a lot of time with other people.

Speaker 1 (16:34):
Okay, so we know how you feel about your family
and friends. Now, I didn't expect it to take this turn.
We are so friends? What said family? Well, I didn't
expect it to take that turn. How much time do
I have to hang out with friends? Have to hang
out with friends? Two hours? This is the formula for
a perfect day. Yeah, six hours of family time is
a lot for me. Like, I think that's a big number.

(16:56):
Have you met my family?

Speaker 3 (16:57):
No?

Speaker 1 (16:58):
I mean, I think you're right. It is a but
I like the less than one hour of screen time.
I like the fifteen minute or less commute. I love
the less than six hours of work. Right, that would
like cut my day in. So those three right there
that you just mentioned I love. I could totally go
for those the family time. Love it.

Speaker 2 (17:15):
In fact, over the Easter weekend, my daughter Quinn came
home from college and we were able to spend additional
time with her. Yeah, and both my wife and I
are like, this was the perfect weekend. It was just
so great. Have everybody in the house, okay, And we
even did like, you know, kind of we cleaned a
bedroom as part of the weekend. But even that was
just fun because we did it together as a family.

Speaker 1 (17:37):
Yes, and you have all the inside jokes and you're
getting caught up and all the things. Oh I love
that all right. So what would your best day ever
look like? Eight seven, seven nine eight one oh nine
eight one. You can also send us a talk back
using our iHeartRadio app. Tell us what that day would
look like for you. And on the way this morning.

Speaker 2 (17:55):
In fact, we're just a few minutes away your next
chance to win tickets to see Heart at the August tenth.
We've been giving those away all week long. At eight twenty,
we're gonna do it again.

Speaker 1 (18:04):
Yes, one of my best days ever, it was actually
a night was with Anne Wilson of Heart. I got
to go on her busy Rockstar bus. She was at
the Marin County Fair. Oh no, she said, come on
out to the bus. And I went out to the
bus and I was like, I am sitting on Ann
Wilson's couch right now. That's a Perfer rock star bus. Yeah,
be here at eight twenty your chance to win Heart

(18:25):
tickets here on the Breeze.

Speaker 3 (18:27):

Speaker 1 (18:28):

Carolyn and Court and congratulations, you've just got yourself tickets

Speaker 3 (18:47):

Speaker 1 (18:49):
You are so welcome. Who is this where you're calling.

Speaker 3 (18:51):
From, Gina? Call him from Santa Clara.

Speaker 1 (18:54):
All right, Gina, we've got two tickets for you. You're

see of Live Nation. Tickets go on sale this Thursday
