Vinyl Tap Podcast with Randy Bachman takes stories from Vinyl Tap the radio show and expands on them. Randy is one of Canada's musical legends and has been an integral part of Canada’s music scene for more than 40 years as part of The Guess Who, Bachman Turner Overdrive and as a solo artist. He along with son Tal Bachman will share stories from life on the road and in the studio.

The Fender Stratocaster, or “Strat”, came from the evolution of the Telecaster guitar. The Telecaster was the first solid-body electric guitar with a sound that worked and was readily adopted by musicians.
It was heavy and a bit clunky so some changes were made including cutting away some of the body as well as adding a third pickup.
