Sorry for the delay! In this episode, Michi & Scott are catching up after a couple of months. Our discussion focuses on our personal experience with self-care and mental wellness. Scott talks about a recent medical procedure and how to be responsible as a recovering addict when it comes to the prescribing of pain medications. We also share some thoughts on the recent Supreme Court decision involving Roe V Wade.
On the eve of May Day, we discuss the effects of Capitalism in helping professions, social work, mental health, substance use, etc. Scott shares some of his personal experiences working in the addiction field and a recent clash with exploitive business practices.
