Auto Off Topic is a weekly podcast where we talk cars, adventures with cars or anything that might be related to cars. We’ll even have the occasional guest.We’ll share the highs and lows of old car/project car ownership. We’ll tell cautionary tales about rusty bolts, blown head gaskets, snapped timing belts, spun bearings, janky wiring and how we fixed them. When not wrenching, we enjoy back road driving and our local Cars and Coffee. The hosts Brad DeSantis and Andrew Pascarella are two car enthusiasts who have been best friends for over 30 years. Wooo, That's some gas fumes. Andrew accidentally stinks up his house with gas for this episode. We got some project car updates on the Volvo and Brad's Corolla. NASCAR makes it's return for the season to Bowman-Gray stadium for a super fun race and we discuss how Monster Energy livery cars bring big Kyle energy.
We are really pumped that motorsport season is back. We recap last weekend's Rolex 24 and Rally Monte Carlo. We discuss the upcoming NASCAR clash and the sort of odd broadcast choices for NASCAR this season. This is all after some quick project car updates and rant about expensive things in car culture. We are not fans of enthusiasts being priced out of the hobby.
