The Lore You Know

You can't have a lore show that doesn't get sucked into a FromSoft game. This destiny is written by the Old Gods in the very stars. So you've chipped away at us like a little guy with a sword and this week we are exploring The Lands Between. Will we gaze upon ultimate truth, or find only madness?

Probably the latter.

We all know the big strong guy from the side of all the taco trucks, but did you know he comes from an anime with lots of other guys? We were surprised too, but you Kaoi-Can power up your pop culture knowledge by listening to us sorting through the story of some of our favorite buff guys. We're so focused, we don't even make a draggin deez balls joke.

Oh boy this is a big one, but keep in mind if it doesn't make sense that's not because we are explaining it wrong, but because it is silly and complicated. Need to get caught up before the next phase of the MCU begins? Well this is like, a good first start probably. Colin was gracious enough to stop playing Marvel Rivals long enough to come back and gift his knowledge, like Prometheus (another Marvel character).

Pets. They are nice and all but what is the new thing, the next leap of a generation? Dressing them in outfits? Zapping them with rays? Giving them their owns pets? Giving those pets pets? We explore the possibilities of these "New Pets" as we dive into Neopia and the lore of Neopets. One wouldn't think the Scientologists would show up, though Viacom was to be expected.

What if soccer but with magic? How can we jazz up baseball? Can you run through the pool to win at swimming? Is blood sport a sport? What about chess? These are all questions one could imagine, and so we decided to do an episode about the many different sports of fantasy worlds. We know there is no rule that a dog can't play basketball, but how does a dog dribble?

We're assembling the team to take on a looming threat, and by that I mean we've got two buds together to explain the lore of a viewer-requested topic: Overwatch. Blizzard may have abandoned this story, but we will break it down and let you decide where the story would go. After all, everyone is an Overwatch (I think that's the tagline probably).

Do bugs have will? Do any of us, or are we just playthings of Gods? Who knows, but in this episode we talk about a little bug child and their deity father and all sorts of lil critters. If you feel the Radiance, don't fight it, just let it pull you like a moth to the flame.

Remember the days when they made TV shows really complicated, and also you could only reliably see them in order if you watched them at certain times, on certain days, and on a certain channel.
