Life got you Salty? Me too! I'll be posting bi-weekly podcasts about what makes me Salty. Anything goes. You ready?!
In the spirit of Christmas, I am re-posting this episode from Season 1 where I discuss Kindness (there is no better feeling) and how it might just change your life!
This episode takes you through how Alzheimer’s, a memory facility, and the elderly
taught me the meaning of life. It's a lot simpler than you may think!
In this episode, I talk about how minding your own business will bring you a peace you never thought possible.
In episode 2, I tell stories about my life with panic attacks. If you've ever wondered what they may feel like, look no further! If you have them, I see you, I hear you, you are not alone!
In season two I have a new series called Reach for the Healing: It's o.k. to not be o.k!
This week I will talk about how I handle what I call my best friend, depression. I will talk about medication, stigma, and more.
It's the year to let go and let God! Face it, you can make all the plans you want, but no matter what...it'll only be what God wants it to be. So let go of your burdens. Let God handle it. He will do so much better with our lives if we would just stop interfering with His plans!
If you've ever experienced grief, trials, hopelessness, or uncertainty about God's presence during tough times in your life, this episode is for you. Learn how being Salty and standing in your truth is OK...but, don't lose sight of God. He always has His hands on you even when you don't think He does. Meet Naomi...
Have you ever prayed for something and God was silent? I have and it's one of the reasons I became salty as all get out. Looking back, I think His silence may have been His answer. I just didn’t know it. I took His silence as Him just not caring. In reality, He had something better in store for me that I couldn’t see. Sometimes, we need that "no!"
Have you ever asked God to give you a sign for something you've been praying about? Did He give it to you and then you asked for another sign to be sure and then maybe another? Well, let me tell you! I have and I should have believed God the first time! The devil took my doubt as an opportunity to shut me back down. Now I know for sure: When God Gives You a Sign, Believe It the First Time: The Devil Does Not Come...
In part 2 of Kindness this week, I discuss how kindness and compassion changed my life and the lives of everyone I encountered. It can absolutely change your life too! There is a reason God calls us to be kind.
What I learned when I "counted it all joy" during times of trial and tribulations - even when it didn't feel like I could.
The bible says that we are to "count it all joy" during times of trial. Perhaps this is to increase our faith and dependence upon Him??? Or, help develop our character and bring us closer to spiritual maturity??? Either way, it's wasn't easy, but I did ...
In the fifth episode of It's the Salt for me! I talk about trials and tribulations and attempt to learn how to "count it all joy" as the Bible instructs us to do. Should be one for the books!
In part two of Trusting God, find out what happened when I turned everything over to God!
This week I discuss trusting God.
Little Salties are short bonus episodes that will be uploaded from time to time where I interview children about God.
Listen to how I forgave God (and others) and how God decided to call me out! Ouch!

Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.
