UPC on the go – Practical advice on the Unified Patent Court

A new international court is coming. Are you ready? 2023 will see the launch of the much awaited Unified Patent Court and Unitary Patent. This new system, covering 24 countries, with new judges, new courts and new rules, will represent one of the biggest revolutions in IP law in over forty years and will affect everyone who uses the European patent system. In this series of bite sized podcasts, our international UPC team of experienced patent litigators will look at what the UPC system promises, what you need to do now to be ready for it (or to opt out of it), how to choose the right court for your dispute and how the UPC will differ from the existing national systems we all know.
