Welcome to the Women’s Well podcast! I’m your host Jessica - a Christian Homeschooling Mum and ex-New Ager from the Gold Coast, Australia. When I came back to God and was saved by the Lord in March of 2023 everything pivoted, and I had a word from the Holy Spirit to start this podcast, and more specifically to call it the Women’s Well podcast. But first - my personal life needed to implode apparently and as my online coaching business wrapped up and I went through the process of my divorce, this project was put on the back burner. Fast forward almost 2 years and I’m excited to be finally ready to get this out into the world! There are so many layers to the name Women’s Well (a name I didn’t initially understand or resonate with). There are many stories in the Bible that take place at a well where a woman’s life pivots dramatically with respect to their potential partnerships, their identity and self perception, their awareness and their relationship with God. The well is a source of water for our physical health but it also symbolises the Holy Spirit and the fact that we never thirst again when we have salvation through Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit. Additionally, during Biblical times, wells were one of the few places that people could congregate and have open dialogue. Women would often collect water together as a social engagement, coming to the well for their life source as well as conversation about all manner of things. This is what I hear God speaking over this podcast too. x
