So we've kind of been speculating and we know the

(01:48):
contract and we know everything that comes with the contract.
But you know, if you're the Cleveland Browns, if you
continue to get sort of lackluster or no return on
your investment when it comes to Deshaun Watson, what is
the plan?

Speaker 2 (02:06):
You know, like, like what do you do?

Speaker 4 (02:08):
Because you were a playoff team a year ago and
it wasn't because of Deshaun Watson. Joe Flacco came in
off the couch and performed, well, it's a really good roster.
Kevin Stefanski has done a really good job. And you
look at it and you go, they traded away all
of that to Houston and we laid out just sort
of the final tally on the draft picks.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
And yet in the end you got back.

Speaker 4 (02:31):
A quarterback who you know, missed eleven games due to
suspension because he took too many trips of the grab lab.
And then he's got this injury that was kind of
a little bit fluky last year and then he had
to have surgery and the season was over. But the
latest report was, well, he's throwing the ball about forty yards. Now,
all of that being said, what is the plan there

(02:52):
in Cleveland? And so Mary Kay Cabot, who's been covering
the Cleveland Browns for a long time and it's sort
of been in the know on this whole thing. She
was on the Brown's Talk right, excuse me, the Orange
and Browns Talk podcast, and she discussed the potential of
possibly a replacement should things not go well.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Here was Mary Kay if.

Speaker 5 (03:14):
For some reason, Deshaun Watson isn't the quarterback they expect
him to be. If he's not that guy, then they
will try Jameis Winston and turn it over to him.
Because the bottom line is they're trying to win games.
They're not going to let down the rest of the
football team to have a long leash.

Speaker 4 (03:31):
On someone so way we go with what happens with
Deshaun Watson, should he not perform up to their standard
coming up next to him, They're already preparing for that, right,
They're already preparing for it.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
I mean, just kind of the peculiar way, whether you
know what's said is you should never really be in
a feeling a mode where you question if somebody's injuries
are their injury and severe enough where they limit you
the way that they do. I mean, listen to the
guy got surgery, but there's just some weird aer ass

(04:10):
feeling that you feel when it comes to DeShawn Watson.
And it's not a comfortable feeling. It's like expect to
unexpected with this guy, and you haven't seen a real
consistency and what he brings to the tables since he's

(04:34):
gotten to Cleveland other than being consistently inconsistent. And so
to me, when you have someone like Cabot come out
who has clearly had the pulse of this team an organization,
say what it is that she's saying.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
They're preparing for life without.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
Deshaun wats and then they're preparing to do so knowing
that Deshaun Watson fleeced them like he I mean, just
he got it and there's nothing they can do about it.
So in the end, you're going to make the decision
because you do want to win. But Deshaun Watson already

(05:21):
won a lot of times over, so what does it
matter if it works out with him or not? And
that's a sad commentary because when you're an athlete and
you're a competitor, you don't want that.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
To be the way you're viewed.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
But in the end, he's viewing his bank account, and
his bank account says otherwise. His bank account says he's winning.
So you know, how do you make sense of that.
He's got twelve starts in his Brown's career thus.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
Far over how many seasons over two seasons?

Speaker 4 (05:54):
Not great and the reason why and some of those
starts were what not very No. Look like we've made
the point last year Joe Flacco played better football as
quarterback there than Deshaun Watson has at any point in
his Browns career. Baker Mayfield was a better quarterback in

(06:16):
his Brown's career than Deshaun Watson was. Like those are facts,
Like you can't argue with that, and the reason why
he's played so few games and he started so few
games for the franchise is because of two reasons. One
guy's got a little bit of an issue, you know,
possibly a fetish, all right, and all that stuff that
came out and he was suspended a bunch of games

(06:36):
for it, and two because of injury. Well, like, both
of those things should be cause for concern, not just
in the past, but moving forward, shouldn't they be. I mean,
he dealt with injuries in Houston, he dealt with injuries
in college. Didn't he suffer an injury in college as well?
So and so like when you look at those two
things and you go, it's not like you just say, listen,

(06:57):
it was a one off, isolated to incident all that.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
No, No, like he had a lot of.

Speaker 4 (07:01):
Problems with the massage stuff and all the other things
that came along with it. There's always the potential of
a relapse, if you even want to call it that,
And then there's always the potential with him with the injuries.
And that's not necessarily his fault, but it is a
reality of it. And as we made the point earlier
this week, best ability is availability. Guy hasn't been available, Nope,

(07:22):
and so like.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
And then the question becomes how available does he want
to be? How available is he? Where's his mindset?

Speaker 2 (07:32):
Right?

Speaker 1 (07:33):
Is is he even still of the active player mindset?

Speaker 2 (07:38):
Or is it?

Speaker 1 (07:40):
I can rat this thing out, and all I need
to do is make sure that it's not me the
reason why I'm not here anymore. It could be, you know,
I don't I don't want to like jump to conclusions
or anything like that. It just seems really strange that
the dude hasn't played. The way that the injury was

(08:00):
handled and discussed last.

Speaker 4 (08:02):
Year was odd. It was weird, Like it was, well,
does he like when did he suffer the injury? Well,
you know, was it his hit, was it his back?

Speaker 2 (08:12):
What like? Was it his shoulder? Like where are the
injuries coming from?

Speaker 4 (08:16):
And then it was like, well, you know, he warmed
up before the game, but he didn't play like there
was just the messaging of it. It just it didn't
smell right, It didn't pass the smell test. And we
just discussed it last year at the time and it's like, okay, well,
then clearly the messaging was butchered by Kevin Stefanski and
anybody else that was involved. And then it was like, well, no, listen,

(08:37):
he's a tough guy and look he played through pain.
And then I even saw I think it was last weekend.
I saw a report to where they said that, you know,
Deshaun Watson might have suffered the injury even earlier than that,
And it's like, why are we still talking about that?
Like who cares when he suffered the injury. The fact
of the matter is he suffered the injury and he
didn't finish the season and they had to go with

(08:58):
Joe Flacco and they still made the playoffs.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
Like it just.

Speaker 4 (09:02):
Feels like there's this constant justification of them giving away
what they gave away for Deshaun Watson and so far
you've not gotten the real ro none no ROI. And
and there's like there's a lot of people whose jobs
and championship windows are on the line and it's all

(09:22):
tied to Deshaun Watson and he hasn't been there.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
Like I just so when.

Speaker 4 (09:27):
She says it, Look, I mean they they might, you know,
pull the plug if he comes back and he struggles.
I mean, why wouldn't you. Yeah, it's been enough time,
It's been enough time. I think they've probably already also
come to terms with the fact that like you've been
got yeah, like this is a bad deal, Like listen,
like why did we do this? And there's nothing really
you could do about it. You just gotta kind of

(09:49):
all right. So if you know the rest of.

Speaker 1 (09:51):
The owners around the league, though, are sitting there saying, listen,
we had this as a reference point. Do not come
into our offices. Do not call us agents, don't call
us legatta, don't call us, don't don't come in here
with these shenanigans there. We will never do that. No,
look at what happened, Why would we Why would we

(10:11):
do that? Nope, No, fully guaranteed, Nope, won't be that much.

Speaker 4 (10:15):
And look, there's a lot of people who can say, well,
Kirk Cousins got a fully guaranteed deal.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
At least he played and guess what, he's played a lot.

Speaker 4 (10:22):
He's played a lot better football than Deshaun Watson has.
So like the idea that you know, while you know,
it's just.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
Far part of the margins and they're they're two contracts.
Though this guy's got over two hundred million guaranteed. Yeah,
Kurt much, how much did Kirk Cousins get? Leak can
you look at it, how much guaranteed money Kirk Cousins
has made it.

Speaker 1 (10:40):
Ain't no, no, not how much has he made? How
much did he get guaranteed? And one given contract?

Speaker 4 (10:47):
The first contract he got was I think three years,
eighty four million from Minnesota, and then he got guaranteed money.
He got franchise tagged a couple of times. Yea, yeah,
it's not even in the same stratosphere. But but that's
the point. Yeah, it can't be a butt, that's the point.
And two hundred million guaranteed, two hundred and twenty five million,
something like that, guaranteed, guarantee, guarananteed.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
And Steve Bashatti, the raven Z owner, I think it
was at the time fell apart. Well, he kind of
based it. Jerry Jones did too, didn't he.

Speaker 4 (11:19):
Well, I think Steve Bashatti made the point along the
lines of, you know, are we sure this is you know,
this is kind of a record breaking deal. Are we
sure this.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
Is the guy person you want to do that? It's like, well,
it's got.

Speaker 4 (11:32):
A point, and so you know, there is the potential
that Jameis Winston does get his opportunity next to.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
Two hundred plus million dollar guy on your team. It's
like it's like buying a car for that amount of money,
which there's no car that amount of money. But say
you bought like an airplane or something like that, a
yacht and it's always malfunctioning.

Speaker 2 (11:59):
Yeah, and and in the end you can't even use it.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
Like imagine you're looking at this two hundred million dollar yacht,
this two hundred million dollar airplane and you can't even
use it.

Speaker 2 (12:15):
Like that, that's crazy. But you've already paid the money.
What's the worst purchase you've made to where you look
at it and you go, that was a waste, oh man,
Because I know mine.

Speaker 4 (12:28):
We did my buddies, and I thought it would be
a good idea because we were going to the lake
a lot to chip in and buy this pontoon boat.
So we got this pontoon boat that I think was
made in eighty nine and I've got to remember this
because I think it was an eighty nine Landau. I
think that was the brand of the pontoon boat. So
we thought this will be so cool, man. We got
our own pontoon boat, like we got out. We got it,

(12:50):
you know, reupholstered and all this stuff. And within two
trips and two spins around the lake. It went from
our pontoon boat to nickname the Floating Coffin because it
was such a disaster. And I remember just looking at
him going, you realize, we're never like the amount of
money that we paid and the amount of money that

(13:10):
we've put into this boat, We're never gonna get our
return on investment. You gotta cut your losses, all right,
Just consider consider this a loss. And I wonder if
the Browns will get to Sean Watson to just go, yeah, guys,
this just ain't gonna work out. I mean, And also
the only way you really could justify the move, and
Brady's made this point and he knows you know Cleveland

(13:31):
and that fan base and that franchise better than anybody
is Yeah, you got to.

Speaker 2 (13:35):
Win a super Bowl.

Speaker 4 (13:37):
And with Patrick Mahomes in the same conference, good luck
with that dude, because you know he's gonna be there.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
Look making it out of the AFC North. Hello, Yes,
the North.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
They just added Russ and Justin Fields to the New
York to the Pittsburgh Steelers. You already got Lamar Zachson,
the reigning NFL MVP, his second one. You got Joe
Burrow coming back from coming back from an injury injury
riddled season. The Sean Watson had every opportunity to be

(14:18):
as much as he should have been, could have been,
and get the accolades and the respect for it doing
it in the division that he's doing it in, and
he has yet to show that that's what he's willing
and wanting to do.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
Hey man, you know, two thirty million guaranteed, he got it.
He got it, he got his deal.

Speaker 4 (14:37):
So so maybe that's it's the beginning of the end
for Deshaun Watson in Cleveland. It is two pros and
a cup of show here on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington,
Jonas Knox of the Year all right to coming up
next year from the tiraq.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
Dot com studios.

Speaker 4 (14:48):
There is something that we do on this show because
we like to celebrate big events. You know, there's some
people who try and have like, you know, an insider on,
or they'll try and have somebody on to break down
a big event because they don't know what the hell's
going on on. We do it a little bit differently.
We do a little something called horse name or horse crap.
Every time there's a big horse racing event around all right, now,

(15:09):
if you want to be a part of it, LeVar,
do you feel confident enough to take on a caller
if we open up the phone line, would you be
willing to take on a caller in this edition of
Horse Name or Horse Crap?

Speaker 2 (15:19):
Of course? Okay, all right, So if.

Speaker 4 (15:21):
You've got the balls, no problem, and you've got the guts,
come beat me. And you want to take a trip
to Stick City, No, dude, Yeah, if you want to
take a trip to Stick City, eight seven seven ninety
nine on Fox is the phone number eight seven seven
nine nine six six ' three six ' nine. It
is time for the return of Horse Name or Horse Crap.

(15:41):
If you've never heard it before, you don't want to
miss it at yours next year on FSR.

Speaker 3 (15:45):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 4 (16:00):
Hey, this is Tom Berducci from Fox Sports, MLB Network
and Sports Illustrated.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
And I'm Joe Madden.

Speaker 6 (16:06):
We're going to be around to talk a little bit
about managerial decisions and what may have a credit to
a dugout maybe in the nineteen eighties.

Speaker 2 (16:11):
It's the Book of Joe podcast. I can't wait for this, Joe.

Speaker 4 (16:14):
We're going to dive into what goes on in the
dugout and behind the scenes in Major League Baseball, cars,
wind whatever else we want to talk about.

Speaker 2 (16:21):
Yeah, well there are no boundaries, right. Listen to the
Book of Joe.

Speaker 4 (16:24):
Podcast on the iHeartRadio app, on Apple Podcasts or wherever
you get your podcasts. Two pros and a cup of Joe.
Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Jonas Knox with you here.
Coming up in a little over twenty minutes from now,
we are going to have another edition of over Unders
as we take a look ahead to a busy weekend
in the world of.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
Sports and beyond.

Speaker 4 (16:45):
To make sure you stick around for that, that'll be
yours here again a little over twenty minutes from now
from the tire raq dot com studio. So, the Kentucky
Derby is this weekend just a great event. It's the
one hundred and fiftieth edition of the Kentucky Derby. And
every time there's a big horse racing event, we like
to dust off an oldie but a goodie and it's

(17:07):
called horse name or horse crap. And the way it works, oh, oh, the.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
Way it was. The way it works. All whoa, So
that everybody get back in the stable? WHOA? All right,
care not ready? Can you get a false start in
horse racing?

Speaker 7 (17:20):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (17:20):
They see, Yeah, well the jockey probably goes flying over
the gate. But so we're back at the starting gate now.
So the way this works is I've got a list
of names here. This is either the name of an
actual horse or a name that's been made up. Now
these aren't just because it could be easy. You could
just go look through the field of horses at the

(17:42):
Kentucky Derby and be like, all right, well, I mean
this is you know, there's.

Speaker 2 (17:45):
Like fifteen sixteen horses. I'll just remember the names.

Speaker 4 (17:47):
No, no, no, no, these are all horses that are running
at Churchhill Downs at some point this weekend.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
All right.

Speaker 4 (17:55):
So that's why it makes it a little bit more difficult.
So we decided, you know, Brady's not here, but Levar's here,
and so who wants to come get this smoke and
come see stick city at the stable at the paddock
and have to deal with LaVar air and get sticked.
And now a guy who's never lost, damn, a guy

(18:19):
who's never lost an addition of horse name or horse crap.
So with that being said, we thought better of this.
We wanted to go in another direction, but lead to
Lap swore that this would be the one to go with. So, Kevin,
you are in Texas listening here on Fox Sports Radio. Kevin,
good to be with you. Here are good for you
to be with us? Whatever you want to call it. Hi, Kevin,

(18:41):
where in Texas are you?

Speaker 7 (18:42):
keV Broad down here by the border man, Brownsville?

Speaker 2 (18:48):
Okay, hey, hell yeah, nice Brownsville. That's right. I like
that right near the border. Yeah, I'll bet man, I'll
bet Syco to myow. This weekend is going to be
on fire. That's oh all right, okay, okay, my god.

Speaker 4 (19:04):
Yeah, So listen, all right, So Kevin's in text for
me to kick that ass.

Speaker 2 (19:07):
No, yeah, Kevin, come on, come on home.

Speaker 5 (19:10):
All right?

Speaker 4 (19:11):
All right, So here you go. So, Kevin, you know
the rules. It is horse name or horse crap. I'm
gonna start with you, then go to LeVar. We're gonna
start with it. We're gonna go name by name. You
tell me whether or not it's an actual horse racing
at Churchill Downs this weekend or it's completely made up.
And with that being said, it is now time for
the return of this.

Speaker 3 (19:31):
Is it a horse name.

Speaker 2 (19:36):
Or horse crap? And away we go.

Speaker 4 (19:42):
That is some professional mature imaging put together by the
one and only Vito, who does a fine job here
at Fox Sports.

Speaker 2 (19:52):
Radio, shouts out the vites. So here we go.

Speaker 4 (19:57):
Kevin, you are first up, Kevin, horse name or horse crap?
Noddy miss.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
Horse name?

Speaker 4 (20:08):
That is correct, Kevin, good job, that is correct. You
were on the board, LeVar, don't try and cheat here
all right, to see what you try to try to
try to look over my shoulder, trying to look over
your shoulder, look at this. Next up is LeVar Arrington,
who is here, Ready to go on horse name or
horse crap? LeVar, the name for you is ready to

(20:29):
pounce horse name or horse crap?

Speaker 2 (20:32):
That's hard. Yeah, you got that right, We'll pounce you. Uh,
let's go.

Speaker 4 (20:43):
Horse name that is correct. You were on the board
and we were all tied up. I want a piece
here on horse crap. Next over to Kevin, who is
in Texas here on Fox Sports Radio, Kevin, the next
name for you is Sinko de Thio.

Speaker 2 (21:03):
Horse crab.

Speaker 1 (21:04):
That is what a name that would be, right? I mean,
you give such easy ones to everybody. You always give
me the heart ones. Go.

Speaker 2 (21:12):
You gotta think about it. You know, there's no way
that was a hard one, all right.

Speaker 4 (21:17):
So, LaVar Arrington, you were next up on this edition
of Horse Name or Horse Crap here on Fox Sports Radio,
and LeVar the name for you is.

Speaker 2 (21:26):
Jungle Lever.

Speaker 1 (21:29):
That is so dumb, but it's so hard because these
are the type of names that they get.

Speaker 2 (21:37):
Jungle Lever.

Speaker 1 (21:41):
Dang it it is, isn't it?

Speaker 2 (21:44):
You're right? You know what I'm going to go. Horse name?
I know, I know you feel. I feel now if
you would have said that, I would have got it right.

Speaker 4 (22:03):
Would if I gave away the spelling you know I
was talking about leath, I would have got it right. So, Kevin,
you've got a one point lead here on horse Name
or Horse Crap here on Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (22:14):
And next up for Kevin and Texas is.

Speaker 4 (22:17):
Empty Tomb, horse Name or Horse Crap.

Speaker 2 (22:25):
If he breaks his leg, for sure it won't be empty,
but horse the crap? Oh you a yeah?

Speaker 4 (22:31):
First miss of the game for Kevin and Texas could
be a pivotal moment here in this game. As we
continue on here on Fox Trufradio, this is horse Name
or Horse Crap as we celebrate the running of the
Kentucky derby LeVar Arrington Kevin in Texas.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
Going head to head here on FSR.

Speaker 4 (22:48):
So, LeVar Arrington, you were next up with an opportunity
to tie the game here and LeVar, the name for
you is ye five legged Funeral horse crap. That is correct.
LeVar has tied it up and come on this edition
of Horse Name or horse Craft. Get this work, Kevin.

(23:09):
So now we transition.

Speaker 2 (23:11):
Over near the border in Brownsville.

Speaker 4 (23:13):
To Kevin in Texas. Kevin, we are all tied up
to a piece here. The name I just gave LeVar
it was five legged Funeral. The name I've got for
you is five finger death Punch, horse name or horse.

Speaker 2 (23:25):
Crap, horse crap. That is correct.

Speaker 1 (23:32):
It's actually a group like that's the it's the dumbest deal.
That might be the dumbest one you've ever given. He
had the nerve to sit there say, ah, that was
so easy. But that's an actual ban I know.

Speaker 4 (23:48):
So let's start. Let's ratchet it up a little bit here.
So you're rattet it up now, LeVar. We are going
to ratchet it up here. And the name for you
next on Horse Name or Horse crap is.

Speaker 2 (24:00):
Cogburn horse name. That is correct, LeVar. You know your
horse is serious. It is too serious. That was a
serious sound.

Speaker 4 (24:09):
All right, So we're all up, so Lee if I
have this correct, LeVar is up three to two.

Speaker 1 (24:12):
Now we're tired. Are sorry, keV? Sorry, we're uh oh dang.
I want it legit now, I want it more.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
They just coiled. You give death punch, give him a
good one. You want some of this smoke? Let me go, Kevin,
come on down it up.

Speaker 4 (24:28):
Next name up for Kevin here on this edition of
Horse Name or Horse Crap as we come down to
the final stages is hung in the restless horse Name
or horse crap o.

Speaker 1 (24:44):
That's ridiculous, man, I don't understand why you give such
easy ones to everybody.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
What you just want me to lose? That's not true,
you want me to lose. That's a legitimate could be
a legitimate name, Eddie, Eddie? What is that a horse?
Come on, seriously, can you chime in on this these
did you hear what he just said? These could be legitimate?
Hor I mean, is that is that?

Speaker 4 (25:07):
That is?

Speaker 5 (25:07):
That?

Speaker 2 (25:07):
Is that an easy way to go on? All right?
So here we go.

Speaker 6 (25:10):
Listen, imagine that being a real horse.

Speaker 1 (25:12):
The last two have been so easy. That's ridiculous, Jonas,
I mean, what are you talking about? But empty tomb
is an appropriate horse name?

Speaker 4 (25:22):
I mean, come on, this is a disrespect all right.
So LeVar, here's how this works. We Kevin's got a
one point lead, he's a four to three here. This
is the final option in regulation for you to tie
the game, all right, So this is it final final
leg if you will. If you get this correct, the
game is tied. We go to sudden depth overtime. If
you miss it. Kevin in Texas is your winner on

(25:44):
this edition of horse Name or horse Craft. So, LeVar, Arrington,
all the pressure is on. There are people listening all
over the country.

Speaker 2 (25:52):
LeVar.

Speaker 4 (25:53):
The name for you is your barn right horse name
or horsecraft horse crap. That is correct. You are correct.
We are all tied up here or a piece walking
away with this victory?

Speaker 2 (26:12):
Not all right?

Speaker 4 (26:12):
So here's that works. It is sudden death overtime here.
This is the tiebreaker question here on Fox Sports Radio.
I am going to say the name. Now, your name
is your buzzer. The first person to buzz in with
their name will have the opportunity to take a guess,
and if you get it correct, you win the game.

Speaker 2 (26:32):
But if you miss it, the other guy wins. So
away we go here.

Speaker 4 (26:36):
The tie breaker question on this edition of Horse Name
or Horse Crap is discreet mischief. LeVar is in LeVar
horse Lamar. Did you just win this edition of Horse
Name Horse Crap?

Speaker 1 (26:52):
Correct?

Speaker 2 (26:57):
Horrible winner, sucking the best check ross. Don't you ever
call him so think that you can beat me? Kevin.

Speaker 4 (27:09):
We appreciate it, man.

Speaker 2 (27:12):
I appreciate you taking his hand.

Speaker 7 (27:15):
A valiant fight here, John sports Lavary, I have a
good one, bro, I'm still your champion.

Speaker 1 (27:26):
He's now lost, almost messed up, same own damn name.

Speaker 2 (27:32):
Almost man, there we go.

Speaker 4 (27:35):
Pronounce my name horse crap for the Kentucky Derby and
Churchill Downs weekend, uh for twenty twenty fours in the
boat horse Name or horse Crab.

Speaker 2 (27:45):
Some of that dust got in my throat. That's too excited.
Your barn rights so dumb you hit him with the
death punch, though, like he was like, oh man, that's
a hard Why.

Speaker 4 (27:59):
Why would I like, but you think about it, like
why would anybody call their horse that? And then you
see some of the other names that have been named
for horses, it's like because we're and and by the way,
it should also be pointed out LaVar's got a little
bit of insider trading here, possibly because somebody did name
a horse after you once that.

Speaker 1 (28:15):
Is, so that is God to rest his soul. But yeah,
Sammy Huff, Sam Huff named his horse after me, say,
never won a.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
Race and they had to catch trade. They took They
took him. They took it.

Speaker 1 (28:31):
Not casttrating, but uh that's the other one. Not not
that would have been way worse. No, they didn't euthanize him.

Speaker 2 (28:40):
No, they just took his ability away to reproduce. I mean,
what is that called for horses, isn't it? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (28:48):
Yeah, I was right, Okay Brown, All right, well there
you go. I mean yeah, they just you know, they're like,
we don't want none from him. You're you're no good
for us that way, you can't win. Probably took helicopter blades.

Speaker 4 (29:03):
Well, from what I hear but again listen, you know,
congratulations to Labarrante and Laryrington is our champion.

Speaker 2 (29:10):
If we could get some rings dialed up for.

Speaker 4 (29:12):
Levary, we move on here on Fox Sports Radio. It
is two pros and a cup of Joe. Here on FSR,
We're gonna have some over unders for you coming up
here shortly. But for all the latest from around the
world of sports. I mean, this man should win the
Kentucky Derby every year. He's our horse, he's our jockey,
He's Edie Garcy. Yeah, how about that. An It's like

(29:34):
one of those Halloween costumes where you put on the
suit and it looks like you're riding something, but you're
actually it's it's your legs before.

Speaker 2 (29:42):
No.

Speaker 4 (29:43):
Yeah, it's still it still gets me every time because
it looks real, like an actual person riding a horse,
and yet it's just somebody wearn't a costume.

Speaker 2 (29:52):
Still gets me every time. But you know me, I'm mature.
I don't I'm not I don't partake in that. Oh yeah,
very mature.

Speaker 6 (29:58):
Let's get you updated on last night's playoff action. We
start in the NBA, where we had two elimination games
and the Knicks closed it out. Against the seventy six
ers with a one to eighteen, one to fifteen win
in Philadelphia. All five starters for New York were in
double digits. Josh Hart hit a big three pointer in
the final seconds to provide the winning margin, and Jalen
Brunson another big game, leading the way for the Knicks
with forty one points. Joel Embiid did have thirty nine

(30:21):
points fouled out though late Tyrese Max He just seventeen
points in the lost. New York wins that series four
games to two. Pacers also close out their series against
the Bucks with a one to twenty ninety eight win.
Fifty points for the Pacers from their bench, while Milwaukee
had six from their bench, Obi topping twenty one points,
TJ McConnell twenty points, both off the bench for Indiana.

(30:42):
Those were your two leading scores for Milwaukee onas Tetakobo
didn't play miss the entire series due to injury. Damian
Lillard did return to the lineup finish with twenty eight points.
Indiana closes out that series four games to two, and
we'll face the New York Knicks in round number two
and back to Lavari Arrington and Jonas Knox and Thetirack
dot Com Fox Sports Radio Studios.

Speaker 4 (30:59):
Thanks Eddy, two per a Cup of Joe here on

drinking past.

Speaker 4 (31:31):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah yeah.

Speaker 2 (31:36):
Come on, all right, all right, sorry God. I've heard
this song.

Speaker 4 (31:53):
For the last ten plus years, at least twice at Kincinnetta,
every Continnetta. Every time. I didn't even know they didn't
the song. I just know the beat and the rhythm.
So away we go as a sinkle to my o weekend. Yeah,
what is the name of the song.

Speaker 2 (32:10):
It's Cumbia some possana. I was just gonna say that,
see say that. I wouldn't even be able to listen
to the song because I wouldn't even know how to
look it.

Speaker 4 (32:20):
Up Cumbia Da Da Dada. Yeah, yeah, it's that one.
So it is two Pros and a cup of Joe.
Here on Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Jonas Knox with
you here coming up top of next hour. We will
call it a little over ten minutes from now from

Speaker 3 (33:02):
Time to put your money where your mouth is.

Speaker 2 (33:05):
I have been loading. I know you're a lyon low
life Gambily the January.

Speaker 4 (33:09):
It's over under all right to lead the lap I
mean conveniently enough. Brady Quinn didn't show up because he
didn't want to get knifed again and over unders So
what are we? What was the damage last week five
and oh for me again or what?

Speaker 8 (33:22):
Oh, not quite that but pretty close. I'll fill you
in here. Of course, we started with Spencer Ratler. We
were all pretty high on the fact that he might
be get drafted by the Raiders. And the third we
actually had him draft position forty four and a half,
which is where the Raiders were way over one hundred
and fiftieth fifth round to the Saints. But the only
person who took the over was Jonas.

Speaker 2 (33:45):
Yeah, and I regretted that in one once.

Speaker 4 (33:47):
I did it because I felt like it seems like
a bad, bad pick. By the way, did you hear
the bar What did you think about this? Did you
hear one of the rumors that was out there that
the reason Spencer Rattler slid in the draft is because
there were a lot of people in the NFL that
were put off by the way he was portrayed in
QB one.

Speaker 2 (34:04):
Yeah, dude, he was seventeen. He was seventeen.

Speaker 1 (34:08):
They go back to when you were in grade school, bro,
they do. They do questioning and ask answering back to
your grade school principal, and they go deep.

Speaker 4 (34:21):
They dig deep, Like I could understand if when he
was seventeen. You know, he had like three d y's
and you know they caught him trying to make out
with a mannequin and a shopping mall or something like that.

Speaker 2 (34:31):
It's like, all right, this guy's there's some questionable behavior here.
He was seventeen, he was on a reality show and
he might have been you know, a little arrogan sheet. Yeah,
that's a little arrogant, ridiculous, a lot arrogant. But so
what what else we got? It was a close one.

Speaker 8 (34:46):
We had punter kicker selected in the in a full
draft four and a half rounds. Was the marker came
down to Tory Taylor to the Bears twenty second pick
in the fourth round.

Speaker 2 (34:56):
So it hit the over was the only one who
got real close. Damn, I knew I got it. So
we were like, what four or five picks off? Six
picks off?

Speaker 4 (35:04):
Oh, damn, I know I had it.

Speaker 2 (35:08):
Damn All right? What else we got? Blake Krum draft
position among running backs, We had him.

Speaker 8 (35:12):
As a two and a half two and a half
running backs off the board. He was the third running
back off the board after Jonathan Brooks from Texas to
Carolina trade Benson from Florida State to Arizona. And then yeah,
Blake korm was picked third in the third round by
the Rams. He was the third running back off, so
that hit the over. Brady and LeVar hit the over
on that one.

Speaker 4 (35:30):
I mean, I'm pretty sure I said the over as
well too. But again, I'm accountable, So I'm not going
to sit here and point fingers and blame anybody for miscounting.

Speaker 2 (35:38):
On this show. I'm not gonna do that.

Speaker 8 (35:41):
Guys, everybody correctly predicted the over that there would be
somebody traded in the draft. I forget who it was actually,
but somebody was traded in the mid rounds.

Speaker 2 (35:49):
Yeah, I forget too. It doesn't matter. Everybody hit the overs.

Speaker 8 (35:52):
Going on to the last one, mister irrelevant, would he
be black or white?

Speaker 2 (36:00):
And whose picks for one? Jonas and Brady took black,
LeVar took whites. Yeah, so.

Speaker 1 (36:08):
No, okay, I know you're about to do and uh surprise.

Speaker 8 (36:16):
Mister irrelevance this year was Alabama defensive back jayalen Key.

Speaker 2 (36:20):
Oh, I know that's that's not That's not a white name,
okay or position.

Speaker 4 (36:29):
By the way, I love how nobody had faith in
their own kind and they made that pick Cleavar went
opposite of him, and Brady and I one opposite of us.

Speaker 2 (36:36):
So all right, I want to say tally Atlee.

Speaker 8 (36:39):
Three two three two three two across the board tied up.

Speaker 2 (36:43):
Yeah, good job, guys. Uh So where we at this week?

Speaker 3 (36:47):
All right?

Speaker 8 (36:47):
You guys, we were talking to Kentucky Derby. Just a
little horse named horse crap. Let's go to the Kentucky Derby.
Winning time for the Kentucky Derby the main event two
minutes two seconds.

Speaker 2 (36:58):
What has it generally been around that mark? I'm gonna
take the over.

Speaker 4 (37:05):
I'm gonna take the over two. By the way, didn't
two jockeys get injured falling off horses yesterday? I practice?
I think they did, so maybe I should take the
I'm gonna take the Underly, I'd like to change my pick.
I think they're gonna be burning around this track coming
up on Saturday.

Speaker 2 (37:23):
Love it?

Speaker 3 (37:23):
Well?

Speaker 8 (37:24):
How about this winning distance for the winning horse of
the Kentucky Derby one and a half links over.

Speaker 2 (37:29):
I'll take the over, take the under, all right?

Speaker 8 (37:35):
Fellas, we got some NBA action tonight. We got Calves
at Magic Clippers at MAVs. The Clippers face elimination so
do the magic number of teams eliminated from the NBA
Playoffs tonight one and a half.

Speaker 2 (37:50):
I'm gonna take the I'll take the under. What's the
games again?

Speaker 8 (37:53):
Calves at Magic Magic Magic or favorite Clippers at MAVs.

Speaker 2 (37:56):
MAVs are favorite? Should we to make it more difficult? Actually, no,
that's fine.

Speaker 4 (38:02):
I'll take the under because I don't think anybody's getting
eliminated tonight. I think both teams that are down three
to two.

Speaker 2 (38:08):
Are gonna win. I'm gonna take the under. It's gonna
be a one one for one of them is going
to win. One of them is going home. So should
we make it a half? Then, lady? You think I
think maybe we should? Yeah, all right, I'll still take
the under. And you want to take the over? There, lamar,
you think one of one one's gonna get eliminated?

Speaker 8 (38:27):
Take fair enough, guys, big fight this week, Canelo Alvarez
versus Homimoon Gia huh Haimimonia. You got rounds between the
two ten and a half.

Speaker 2 (38:44):
I'm gonna take the over. Damn no, No, it's a
style fight. I'm gonna take the under on that one.
I'm gonna take the under. I'll take the over lead.
They're going to fight ten and a half. By the way,
have you seen Charlo ran away from from Cane? You
see Canelo and Oscar Day the way are going at
it this week. Oh my god. Yeah, they don't like we.

Speaker 4 (39:06):
I would say, let's play the sound, but Canelo used
I don't know a lot of Spanish, but I know
those words.

Speaker 1 (39:12):
Yeah, they're going to fight. Yeah, they're definitely gonna fight.
I'm gonna take the under.

Speaker 8 (39:19):
I love it, guys. Single to my O this weekend.
I don't know what you guys are up to, but over,
I gotta raise. I gotta raise this number. You guys
are gonna get me in trouble.

Speaker 2 (39:31):

because you're a tequila guy, right, I am a tequila guy. Over?

Speaker 2 (39:37):
