Speaker 1 (00:09):
Advice Shooter.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
It's no Welcome to the host, Rob Shooter, and it's Monday,
and guess who is back. It's a treat, dear friend,
Garrett Vogel. Are you there, Garrett, Rob Shooter.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
Let me tell you if for all the naughties listening right, if,
if you're looking for a great job, come to the
Naughty but Nice Podcast.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
Their vacation schedule is tremendous.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
I mean, I feel like I'm in the UK on
holiday that that's how long we've been off.

Speaker 4 (00:45):
Like, I mean, look at you. You you you've aged
beautifully like a fine wine. You're you're, You're like Benjamin
Button going back in. I mean, I haven't seen come here, kiss,
kiss the zoom scream.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
When look at you, I will contract my friend. We've
missed you terribly. It's been a minute. I was talking
to some of the other co hosts and what we
were saying, which is I think part of the success
of the show, what a really diverse bunch. And Garrett,
out of the five of us, the six of us,
if you include me, you're the only married person on

(01:15):
the show with children. Yep, and that is a big
part of your life. And so when you get a
holiday when it's a federal holiday. For you, you're with
the kids, it's not really a day off. Like for
me when there's a federal holiday. When I'm not at work,
I'm not doing anything. You have this amazing, but let
me say, very demanding job.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
Well, yeah, you know, and it's one you definitely signed
up for. And there's you know, you don't get paid much,
but you get paid in love. And it's like a stock,
you know, you invest in the stock and you sit
there and you watch it grow and or like a
chia pet, you had some water and you just sit
back and watch it grow tremendously and then take over

(01:58):
your house.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Pretty much take over your life. I know it's a lot. Well,
welcome back, Garrett. We have missed you. Let's jump into
the show.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
What time is it, my friends, Well, let me practice.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
That's it. You got it's your vaccines, like riding a bike.
So Meghan missus Prince Harry's big award because one of
the children was not well. So Harry got this big
award in California. The Living Legends of Aviation. John Tramalta
also was there. I'll get to that in a moment.
But Meghan was expected so mindside as people that were

(02:29):
in the room, they were there at the ceremony, they
all expected that Meghan would turn up. In fact, they
were pretty much told she would be there. Then shortly
before the award started, it became clear Meghan would not
be going. We've since found out that one of the
children was not well, so we don't know if it
was Archie who's four, or little Lilibert who is two

(02:50):
years old, but one was sick. Garrett, as a parent,
I guess this is just curtain.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
It's a blessing in the curse of it all. First,
you know, you got to think that the kids go
to some form of school, which I also like to
call a Petri dish, a science experiment. Let's just call
it where you you know, literally, if you do not
come home day one from school, when in September or
whenever you start school with a runny nose, something is

(03:17):
not right, you know what I mean. It's like their
nose fawcet turns on September one and doesn't shut off
until the end of May. But with that though, Rob Shooter,
let me tell you a little secret. This is I'm
going to pull back the curtain for all the parents
out there, and I think they know too. When you
don't want to go to something, the ultimate get out
of jail free card is, ah, the kids are sick.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
No one's going to question it.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
No one will question it, Rob Shooter, if you told
me that Darby was not feeling well and you had
to stay home with Darby, you know what I would say, Oh,
not a problem.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
I wouldn't question it. You cannot question that.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
You've just given me an absolute trump card. I didn't
even know I had.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
You cannot use it on hey, though you cannot use it.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Oh yeah. Can you imagine if you're the first one
that gets the treatment and it's your own hand. I
never thought about that. It's an absolute wonderful card. Now
I'm told the child is not sick, sick, we don't
have to be worried here. But children do get colds.
As you say, Garrett, oh, they are little dirty devils
with all their friends, and they never wash their hands

(04:21):
and they never cover their mouths when they sneeze. I know,
whenever I see a child, I'm like, oh, I'm going
to get sick. I'm going to get sick that I
normally do but nevertheless, I think it is a very
good reason. But shouldn't they can try to find a
mom a friend to look after the baby. This was
a big award, like Harry's not getting many awards now,
and he did take aviation quite seriously because he really

(04:44):
hasn't had a major job at least since he e
quit the family. The job that he had and liked
the most was with the Armed Services. Harry was served
in the British Forces and he's a very very good pilot,
so this is something that he's achieved with that maybe
his royal status. Now, there's a lot of good pilots
out there, particularly people in the army, and they're not

(05:07):
getting awards. So I get it when when when people
are given awards, it's not always because they're the best,
it's because they're the most famous and do the skill
very well. And so should have she figured this one? Out? Sure?
Should should should have? They figured it out as a couple,
what do you think?

Speaker 1 (05:21):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (05:22):
And no, you know, but I mean she again has
one of those one of those weird situations where you
know you and I could call it the family member,
but as we both know the royals and families, they
don't sit hand in hand. You know, Meghan's family is
maybe she could have called some of the stars from
suits that she does, but they would have come, you know,

(05:42):
they would have had a friend Ellen.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
Or is that wrong to do it? Is it rude?
I don't have children, Garrett, So it's a good question.
If one of my baby is is not well. Is
it fair if I call uncle Garrett and say, will
you come over and babysit? Oh, by the way, one's
got a cold?

Speaker 3 (05:56):
Well, yes, that is a little yes, depending on what
the level like. If I'm a godparent, no problem. You
know that's what you signed up for. You signed up
for that. But if you're gonna pass off your sick
child to me as you go to Harry's Aviation Award
and get all dolled up, and I'm coming over in sweatpants,
so you can you can go out and just sit

(06:17):
there and eat some chicken and clap.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
You know, you and I might have a little bit
of a problem.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
But it's a complicated one, isn't it. They should have
called Ellen. I don't think Oprah would have come over.
Maybe Gail, but Ellen might have come over and helped it.
It's a very good question and that brings us to
our pole question off the day. We want to know
what you think, Megan Michael, missus Prince Harry's Awards ceremony
because one of the kids became ill. Was she right

(06:42):
to stay home? And Miss Harry's big honor? What do
you think? It goes on a Twitter page at Naughty
Nights rob at facebook page is Naughty gossip and be
sure to check back time. I row to hear your results.
Hey Garrett, what are you working on?

Speaker 1 (06:55):
All right?

Speaker 3 (06:56):
So this is a little creepy too, So I know
actually where this actually happened. So the man was arrested
an alleged stalker trying to get into the building of
where Taylor Swift lives in New York City. Guy's a
total nutcase. He was arrested on Saturday for trying to
break in to her Tribeca apartment, which used to be
down the block from where we used to broadcast.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
This fine radio podcast.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
So someone from the police department said that they received
several calls of a disorderly person over on Franklin Street
and when the police arrived, the guy was trying to
open a door. Now it's a front door, it's not
exactly Taylor Swift's door, but let's be honest, outside of
Taylor Swift's apartment, who else lives there?

Speaker 2 (07:38):
Right?

Speaker 3 (07:38):
Like, I'm not thinking like he's trying to go see
you know, Taylor's neighbor, you know what I mean. Like
he was trying to get in there, and you know,
people a lot of people around the block. You know,
it's one of those things where you know, this guy
doesn't belong on this block. That that's what he looked like.
But police couldn't do anything at times because he was

(07:58):
just lurking.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
You know.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
Unfortunately you cannot you cannot get arrested for lurking. You know,
the cops can tell you to move on, but doesn't
It doesn't really stop the person from doing something. You know,
he was probably lurking, they said, for about a month.
He's sleeping on the stoop, chain smoking, constantly shouting Welcome
to New York as her song goes right. It was

(08:20):
unclear though if Taylor was home or not. We do
know she was in New York this week. She was recording.
You know, she was hitting the recording studio a few times.
She was up in Buffalo last night for her boyfriend's
big playoff game in the cold. But yeah, so we
don't know if she was home. Most likely she was
in New York, but she might have not been at
the apartment on Saturday Saturday at some point. But it

(08:43):
has to be weird, like you go back to that
same home knowing that someone was trying to break into
that same place. You know, yes, she has security rob
but still someone's trying to get to you.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
It's just awful. I reached out to my Taylor sources
and they reminded me that in twenty and eighty and
somebody got inside the house. They were found asleep inside
her home. Now, she was thankfully not there at the time.
Since then, I'm told security has been increased on all
her properties and to get in its almost impossible. Plus
if you do get in now, individual rooms have individual

(09:16):
locks on them, almost like panic rooms. It's it's it's
horrible crazy that we have to even think about this,
and Taylor does. I'm told that she's not that rattled
by it, that this is unfortunately part of her daily existence.

Speaker 3 (09:28):
Have you seen her boyfriend? Like I wouldn't be worried too.
Have you seen her boyfriend? Imagine imagine trying to bring
into Taylor's home, not knowing that it's just her, and
then you run into Travis Kill like.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
Aay, I get you're good.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
I just think that sense though, of somebody watching you,
that's what makes me so scared, and I honestly, I've
got to admit it here. I think the misconception is
that people that do what we do for a living,
we want to be famous. We want to be Ryan Seacrest,
do we want to Andy Cohen? And the truth of
the matter is, I don't I love my little bit

(10:04):
of celebrity. I love my little bit of them being noticed.
But I'm certainly not a star, and I'm certainly not
somebody who has stalkers to be the level of fame
of a j Lo, of a Taylor Swift, of a Beyonce,
you can't turn it off. And so what means the
rest of your life you're going to have security with you,
whether you go for dinner or even in your home.

Speaker 3 (10:26):
It's just don't you feel it a little bit though,
because I mean, you are associated with a very popular singer,
was a very passionate fan base.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
He Whenever I'm with Barry Barry Manilo, I'm always reminded
of how famous he is because in the hotel room
he's just Barry right, and then whenever you leave that
hotel room, he's a very absolute and what it costs him,
not just financially, to be Barry Manilo is a price
I would not be willing to pay. I wouldn't do it.

(10:57):
I've seen fame up close and personal when I worked
with bon Jovi. It's a bit of a scary thing
and you can't turn it off. Like I would like
to be famous on stage of Madison Square guard and
then meet you at Botty you knows, and not be
famous there.

Speaker 3 (11:10):
But he just throw a hat, throwing that Leonardo DiCaprio
New York baseball hat.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
No, you know what, It's just something that we don't
think about. And so Taylor has to think about this,
But I'm told she thinks about it very, very wisely.
She has an extraordinary team around her and they're very
careful to reveal any details about her security. Rightfully so.
But somebody that knows Taylor very very well said to
me that maybe after the President of the United States,

(11:39):
she's the most protected person in America.

Speaker 1 (11:42):
Not even that.

Speaker 3 (11:43):
Now, let's just say the relationship with Travis continues. She
is not only inheriting Travis Kelcey, but her brother Jason,
who is also a beast, who was taking his shirt
off in Buffalo last night. His his job as a
football player to protect the quarterback. He's going to protect
his future sister in law no matter what. Like she is,
she is protected beyond protected.

Speaker 1 (12:03):
Rash shooter.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
Yes, yes, yes, it makes me happy to know that,
but it makes me sad to know that there really
is a price to fame.

Speaker 1 (12:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:10):
Moving along, Jill Zarn might be coming back to reality
TV e Rember Jill. I loved her on The Real Housewives.
She was like my first real housewife that I became
quote friends with whoever best is, but Jill is somebody
I went for dinner with Bethany. Actually I met Bethany first.
So I met Bethany first, and Bethany was the most savvy.
So Bethany went out of her way to meet columnists,

(12:32):
people in the media. She invited you to dinners, to drinks,
and through Bethany I met Jill. I always got a
kick out of her. I think she's TV gold. Well,
apparently she's coming back on a new show, but This
is where it gets a little bit suspicious. Sources tell
page six that the show is heading to quote a
major network, but it's not Brav. So I hit the phones.

(12:54):
I know people are all the networks. Nobody has heard
of this show. So my experience here in noughties, and
and don't get too angry with me for bursting your bubble,
is when you do press announcing that you're going to
a major network, you're probably not. When you do the
press is when a network has signed you and you
announced the whole deal.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
So if the press right now we're getting Housewives.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
It's getting house Wife. Yeah, it really is. That's what
it is. I wish you well, Jill. I think you're
great on TV. I also think to the moment might
have passed. That's the thing with reality stars is the
moment passes and they never really want to acknowledge it.
And even the biggest, biggest stars of Housewives, they do

(13:38):
find a moment when it's in the past and you
have just sort of figured that out or accept it.
I don't know if Jill has.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
Well, let's let's try it. You know you and I.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
Let's let's make the announcement we have been signed to
a major, major network, free podcast.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
If we don't tell you which network, you know it's
not quite real. Okay, quickly, before we get a break in,
some good news. Jamie Fox is back in action.

Speaker 3 (14:00):
So yes, Cameron Diaz, Jamie Fox. You know, they were
shooting a movie and unfortunately Jamie Fox went through that
held scare a couple of months ago, and they were
back on set in Atlanta, Georgia, and for the first
time really since since the health emergency back in April.
They look like they were in a happy mood walking
outside together, casual. And remember, Jamie Fox got Cameron Diaz

(14:20):
to pretty much come back to acting, and this is
like her first movie back in a very very long time.
So now that they're back in action, it has to
be a little weird because they're obviously picking up a
scene or two at the moment where Jamie Fox, you know,
kind of you know, fell ill. So it has to
be a little weird but unfortunate. But the good thing

(14:42):
is they're moving forward movies. Back in action. Seems like
Jamie Fox is doing well, and you know, I think
this is not one of those things where the move
they did this just to get pressed for a movie
that hasn't even been finished yet. This is real, So
I think people will go see this based off of
knowing this was the movie that almost ended his life.

Speaker 2 (15:01):
Yeah. Yeah, do you think we'll ever find out what happened?
I've tried and I was.

Speaker 3 (15:06):
Thinking about that too. What an uh. It shows that
it can be done. It can be that you could
you could keep things to yourself without the rest of
the world knowing.

Speaker 2 (15:16):
Yes, yes, Sandra Bullock adopted a baby and we didn't
know about it. But you know these things during really
ugly divorce. Let me add they can keep secrets. Don't
feel bad when celebrity gossip gets out there because from
my experience, and I've done this a very very long time,
they want it out there.

Speaker 1 (15:34):
They put it.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
Stars that want to keep it a secret. Do Okay,
We're gonna take a quick break and we will be
back revealing more than secrets in a moment. Yes, welcome
back to the should have different Garrett. Garrett, it is
good to have you back and keep on.

Speaker 1 (15:52):
Let's let's go for another two hours.

Speaker 2 (15:54):
After let's keep let's we could do it. You know,
we both of us can talk. I'll say that let's
get to the polls. Hey, last show he talks about
William was spotted seeing visiting his wife Kate Middleton, who's
still in the London hospital. Should they tell us what happens?
So talking about mystery illnesses? What happened to Kate? We

(16:17):
still don't know. My inside is are telling me she's
making a great recovery. They won't tell me what happened.
They're telling me hopefully she's going to be out sooner
than expected, but they will not tell me what happened.
Does Kate owe us this? In her statement she really
asked for privacy and she doesn't want this out her
private medical records. But do they owe us what do
you think? Let's have a look. Seventy percent said no,

(16:40):
it's her body, it's for her decision and it's her choice,
and no, she wants this being a secret. She does
not owe us anything. Kate. Don't forget to vote on
today's poll. Go to a Twitter page at Naughty Nice
Rob or a Facebook page which is Naughty Gossip and
be sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results.
And now it's time for our noisiest of the day.

Speaker 3 (17:02):
Finally speaking nice of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. They
reached out to King Charles aka Dad and Princess Kate
aka the sister in law as an olive branch, a
gesture after their recent you know health scares too. You know,
I appreciate a good olive branch. You know, they didn't
do what I normally do for an olive branch, but

(17:22):
still following the news of the health scares, I'll tell
you in a second, both King Charles and the Princess
of Wales, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, they reached out for
well wishes as it's family at the end of the day,
so they're doing the right thing. Like if they didn't,
that would be the bigger problem I would think. You know,
Charles was hospitalized for corrective procedure for a large prostate

(17:44):
last week and then Kate had abdominal surgery last Tuesday
and I expected to be hospitalized for at least two weeks.
So a former press secretary for Queen Elizabeth said it
was the right move to do to reach out for
the olive branch. It's good that they wrecking guys to
his sister in law and they've gone has gone in
for what was obviously a very serious surgery, and of

(18:06):
course Dad going in for a surgery. He's seventy five
years old too, So it's not, you know, exactly always easy,
but it was the.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
Right thing to do to acknowledge it.

Speaker 3 (18:15):
And I'm pleased for Catherine and the King and you know,
it's it. We've talked about this before, Rob. It's family
at the end of the day. No matter where you
are in life, at the end of the day, family
is family, and if they're going through something, especially surgery,
the least you could do is go, hey, I hope
you're doing well, hoping everything went well, and you know

(18:36):
it's the right thing to do. As for an olive branch,
here's what I do when you're not doing Like if
you and I get into a little tip, Rob Shooter,
here's what I'm gonna do. And you know, I'll show
you my cards. I will literally go find some olives
or or olive oil and get a branch off of
a tree and I'll break the ice going I'm just
extending a little bit of an olive branch. Then you'll
either go, oh my god, that is so cute or

(18:58):
oh my god, real cheesy, but break the ice and
we'll start talking again, right.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
Yeah. I think that's lovely. Thank you for that, Garret.
I also think that this is it's really great. Family
is family. But let me remind everybody, even with family,
one person has to make a move. You do. It's
easy sometimes to do nothing. Don't be that person. Make
a move. If there is a an olive branch that
needs to be extended, do it. Do it. And if

(19:26):
the other person rejects it, that's on them. I always
try to make peace. Okay, let's do our naughties. That
Reese Witherspoon is being called out by fans as gross
after she snow off her car. So Reese went out
into the snow, grabed some eyes and turned it into
this really delicious looking caramel sort of chocolatey syrup, sort

(19:48):
of smoothie frozen thing.

Speaker 1 (19:50):
It's a lot of work to bring outside. That's a
lot of work to bring outside.

Speaker 2 (19:53):
People will like sort of angry about it. Now, let
me remind you Reese doesn't live on tenth Avenue like me.
It's not dirty where Reese lives. She lives in a beautiful, beauty.

Speaker 3 (20:02):
No yellow snow snowwhere she has acres and acres of property.

Speaker 2 (20:08):
It's pristine. It's much cleaner than probably anything here in
New York. So I'm not quite sure I'm as mad
with her, but the Reese and naughtiest of the day. Hey,
let's end with a moment of Hey, simple today, happiness
is a choice. Say it out loud when you when
you're brushing your teeth tonight, when you go to bed,

(20:29):
and when you wake in the morning, look in the mirror.
Look in the mirror. Don't look past the mirror. Look
in the mirror and remind yourself. Happiness is a choice.
And today we are choosing to be happy. Hey, that
is it for today. Thank you so much for listening

Speaker 1 (21:02):
It's gone.
