So my husband and I we've been together for twenty
seven years. We have nine children between the two of us,
we have six grandchildren. And I would like to see
if you can play a song because it was our
first song that he's ever danced with me, and it's
the only song that he will ever dance with me too.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
This is it. This is the one song you get
to dance with. Yes, what's his name? And what is
the song?

it to me when he's dancing with me.

Speaker 4 (03:11):

Speaker 1 (03:12):
So for you that must feel like an empty nest.
It must be a slow day with only four.

Speaker 4 (03:17):
Well they're old enough's show. They're just about ones, amos.
He's a preteen, so it's not too bad.

the other room, Mom and daddy, you're going to have
a slow dance in the living room.

Because I have the most amazing man in the world.
We've been together ten years, married four years ago March,
and I decided to change careers after fourteen years and
my new job is crazy hours, and he has stepped up.
He has supper when I get homemade. A lot of

(04:14):
times I'm not home until nine or ten at night,
and he waits and eat with me. He's stepped up
and takes care of the kids. Gives bath, does homework.
He's just amazing.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
How many kids four kids.

Speaker 5 (04:29):
We have one in college. We have a foster son
that's a senior, a daughter that's a junior, and an
eight year old.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Oh man, So he is really really stepping up to
the plate. Way to go, dad.

Speaker 5 (04:43):
Yeah, he's doing great. And he works fifty sixty hours
a week. Two he goes in super early and gets
off so he can get the kids from school.

You know, as I was sitting down listening to your music,
by the way, I've been listening to for the past
five years, and I was just thinking of a song
that reminds me of my wife, I was wondering if
you could play it for me.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
What is her name? Divine?

Speaker 6 (05:46):
My name is Sanita, and we're married thirty years and
she lost our battle with cancer five years ago. So
this is the first song that Anita and I went
out and just had a great time. And the name
of the song is Lady in Red, and she was
dressed in red.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
So on your first dance, your first date, your first
good time together, that was the song that played. And
she was forever your Lady in Red.

Speaker 4 (06:15):
Yep, I was.

Speaker 6 (06:16):
It caught my heart. Thirty years later, I'm telling you,
I'm your very daily but it brings a smile to
my face every time I hear this song.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
I am so sorry for your loss, but I will
definitely play that song and hopefully bring all those sweet
memories flooding back.

Speaker 6 (06:38):
Yes, thank you, Thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Hi Taylor, welcome aboard. What can I do for you tonight?

Speaker 3 (06:50):
I was hoping to request a song from my wife.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
What would you like to hear? And what is your
sweetheart's name?

Speaker 3 (06:58):
I was hoping that you would be able to pick
a song for her. And sweetheart's name is Lauren.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
All right, tell me about your relationship and tell me
something wonderful about this person you love with all your heart.

Speaker 3 (07:11):
Yeah, So we just recently got married back in June,
and we've been together for almost six years now. She
makes me the happiest person in the entire world, and
she's just really special to me. I wouldn't be where
I am right now without her.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
And where are you today with her?

Speaker 3 (07:31):
I'm actually just outside watching the sunset with her right now.
She's actually with me, and I've been trying for a
while to get on on with you, to make a
dedication for her. So this is really special.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
All right. You go enjoy the sunshine, enjoyed the spring,
enjoy one another. I'm going to find the perfect holding
hands walking in the falling pedals of the cherry trees
kind of song.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
That's amazing, Goilah, thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
I so hope you have enjoyed these radio moments as
much as I enjoy bringing them to you. I'll share
