she's you know, she's dealing with rumatory.

Speaker 9 (02:35):
Or twice and she's really sick.

Speaker 7 (02:37):
Okay, But this time she pushed me to do something
that I'm really proud of. I'm sorry and getting emotional
talking about it. But I actually do fitness on TikTok.
Now it's a passion I've had for years and I'm
blowing up on TikTok and a lot of people are
actually thanking me and there's kids asked me questions. So
I'm doing something now for the community. It's been a while,
and doing for my wife and she's actually telling me

(02:59):
to push and actually for the community I live here.

Speaker 9 (03:01):

Speaker 7 (03:16):
There's nothing I could do.

Speaker 4 (03:17):
For her, so we'll send her some leve too.

Speaker 9 (03:20):
All right, I appreciate that. Guys, Thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
That would shine a light eight hundred two ninety two
fifty one fifty if you couldn't get through. And of
course it's a Friday. It's all love ya.

Speaker 3 (03:31):
This is a judgment free zone.

Speaker 5 (03:33):
Tell us a Secret?

Speaker 4 (03:35):
What's up?

Speaker 2 (03:35):
Its way up with Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee. And
you know what time it is. This is the part
of the show that you love to hate.

Speaker 5 (03:41):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
This is when y'all sit back and.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Listen on y'all little radios and yell little phones and
judge people during tell Us a Secret. But I sit
up here straight faced and let you tell me anything,
and I don't judge you, because that's the whole point
of it. You get to remain anonymous and tell me
any secret one eight hundred two ninety two fifty one
fifty anonymous, call it what is your great?

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (04:01):
Like, I'm all working at my world's job overnight.

Speaker 10 (04:04):
My girl wanted to work with me, so I wanted
up letting her.

Speaker 8 (04:08):
Give preferer by me.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
Now she's working.

Speaker 7 (04:10):
At the job, so the manager, I don't know that
she's my girl.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
But oh my gosh, So you're saying with that manager
and you have your girlfriend working today, it's bold.

Speaker 10 (04:20):
Yeah, I mean it's a bold move.

Speaker 9 (04:22):
You're the only player you can do that.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
You're not scared because your girlfriend at work has to
act like y'all not together, And of course your boss,
your manager has to act like y'all not together either,
because that would violate things in the workplace.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
Do you see your your manager off hours? Though?

Speaker 1 (04:36):
No?

Speaker 11 (04:37):
Same take time when me and my manager gets the
time to kendles.

Speaker 7 (04:42):
Get home?

Speaker 4 (04:43):
Okay, all right, who do you like better?

Speaker 8 (04:46):
Damn like that?

Speaker 4 (04:48):
Who do you like better?

Speaker 9 (04:49):
If I could pick my girl? I don't know, it's
nothing about us while I'm wanted.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
All right, Well, no judgment here. Thank you for calling
a Thank you, good luck, creepy.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
Hey, what's up, anonymous caller? How are you?

Speaker 9 (05:02):
How's it doing?

Speaker 11 (05:03):
Angela o'kay?

Speaker 4 (05:04):
Thank you. You want to tell us a secret? Yes,
I do.

Speaker 11 (05:07):
And I cannot believe I'm telling you this love on
the air, because I have never said this outside my
best friend.

Speaker 4 (05:12):
Okay, hold on, let me go, let me get some tea.
All right, go ahead.

Speaker 11 (05:17):
So when I was a teenager like her, and I
was just hanging out on a Friday night, and I
was like, I want to know my boyfriend that cares
about me. So she was like, all right, come on.
I parked my car like at the movie theater parking lot.
I got in her trunk and she drove all the
way over my boyfriend's house and was like, hey, such

(05:38):
and such, have you seen your girl? And he was
like no, why. She's like, I'm looking for her and
I can't find her. Long story short, He went around
my area looking found my car in the movie parking
lot and thought I was inside with another dude. So
he and his friends sat outside the movie theater with
back to everything ready to go.

Speaker 4 (05:59):
Oh my god.

Speaker 9 (06:00):
Oh it was crazy.

Speaker 11 (06:02):
So later when I got out the trunk, you know,
and I was like, no, I was just playing around. Yeah,
he did not believe me.

Speaker 4 (06:10):
He did not see you get out the trunk, right.

Speaker 11 (06:12):
No, I did that in a little call to track.
I know people thought I was crazy, but no, yes,
I didn't know he was going that crazy. And long
story short, we broke up not long after that because
he never believed that I was actually in the trunk.
He ended up stalking me outside my house and when
I have Prince over, he even flashed a guy tire.

(06:35):
So all I'm saying is, don't try to test somebody's
games such because they might just show up.

Speaker 4 (06:40):
This is crazy.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
So you actually ended up telling him, no, I was
just testing you. I was in my friend's trunk.

Speaker 11 (06:46):
I heard some because he was kind of crazy, right,
and I just didn't realize how crazy he was.

Speaker 9 (06:51):
Ma'am.

Speaker 4 (06:52):
Yeah, I'm crazy.

Speaker 11 (06:55):
I mean a little bit.

Speaker 9 (06:56):
I'm down my back he is, you know, got him
put up.

Speaker 4 (06:59):
But be careful what you ask for, right you wanted
him to care.

Speaker 11 (07:05):
Yes, ma'am.

Speaker 4 (07:06):
All right, Well thank you for saying that out loud.

Speaker 9 (07:09):
Thank you. I have a good one.

Speaker 4 (07:11):
All right.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
Well that was tell us a secret eight hundred nine
fifty one fifty in case she couldn't get through and
all the secrets are being told. When we come back,
let's talk about Kendrick Lamar six sixteen in LA back
to back a second disc track about Drake and was discussed.
We're going to play the full thing and then you
guys will call in and say what you think? That's
eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty you.

Speaker 6 (07:34):
Way up with Angela ye more?

Speaker 5 (07:37):
Now what's up this?

Speaker 2 (07:38):
Way up with Angela Ye? I'm Angela Yee on our Friday.
I'm here with my producer Dan. Now, I'm putting Dan
on this break because he's a huge Kendrick fan. He
already has on his merch today.

Speaker 3 (07:47):
That's a fact. Kendrick's one of my favorites.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
All right, So Dan, six sixteen in LA, what did
you think and what did you learn from that? Because
I think the main thing is exposing the fact that
Drake has a snitch in the Obo crew. Of the
one hundred people that work for him, twenty people want
to see his downfall mm hmm.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
And Kendrick saying that one of them is with him every.

Speaker 4 (08:05):
Day, that is crazy.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
One of them works for him, Well, they work for him.
Obo is basically what he's saying. And I'm gonna tell
you what I learned from this. Right when somebody is
moving a little funny, you gotta cut them off.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
So there's two parts to that. Let's play the first
part right here.

Speaker 12 (08:20):
Have you ever thought that O Fido was working for me?

Speaker 5 (08:22):
I think bully, I hate bully.

Speaker 12 (08:24):
You must be a terrible person. Everyone is not your teams.
Whispread that you deserve it, can't tisty slide upon it.
This one is just gonna be surface. Every dog got
a happy state now lifting your purpose. It was fun
until you start to put money in the streets. They
lost money because they came back with no re seats.
I'm sorry that I live a ball in life. I
love peace, but war ready if the world is ready
to see you bleed?

Speaker 3 (08:45):
And then the second part is right here.

Speaker 4 (08:46):
You know then why you see your circle should puzzle you?

Speaker 12 (08:48):
If you was street smart that you bought a cart,
that your aunt to Rogers only to hustle you a
hundred things that you got them salary twenty. He wants
you as a casualty. And one of them is actually
next to you, and two of them is the glee
time had your lifestyle. Just don't got the audacity to
tell you. But let me tell you some games, because
I could see, no, homie, you're playing thirty? What propaganda
he up on you?

Speaker 2 (09:09):
All right, well, we want to hear what you guys think,
So we're gonna take your calls when we come back.
Eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty Kendick Lamar
six sixteen in LA.

Speaker 4 (09:17):
What parts stood out to you? Do you think it
was mid or D eleven?

Speaker 5 (09:21):
Call us up?

Speaker 4 (09:21):
Eight hundred two fifty one? Turn up you vibing way
up with Angela?

Speaker 7 (09:26):
Ye?

Speaker 5 (09:26):
Come right more?

Speaker 11 (09:28):
Now?

Speaker 4 (09:29):
What's up?

Speaker 12 (09:29):
This?

Speaker 4 (09:29):
Way up at Angela yee? I'm Angela Yee.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
And we are here talking about that Kendrick Lamar six
sixteen in La. That record he took direct aim at
Drake and made him realize there are some leaks within
the OVO crew. What do you guys think? We're gonna
just play your reactions right now? Back to back on
the New Music Friday.

Speaker 4 (09:47):
All right with this?

Speaker 9 (09:48):
Hey, what's up?

Speaker 8 (09:49):
It's Tanya. I'm from Philadelphia.

Speaker 4 (09:51):
What are your thoughts on the Kendrick record?

Speaker 8 (09:53):
I love the Kendrick records. I'm gonna r because Kendrick
is my favorite. But I just feel like whoever isn't
really understanding Kendrick are simple and they don't want to
really go deep into the thought because Kendy's lyricsis and
not no say to Drake but a little bit safe.
But you know he makes microwaveable music. I'm waiting for
Drake to drop them high for it. But I'm gonna say,

(10:14):
Hendrick's running right now on this, So that is how
I feel.

Speaker 4 (10:17):
All right, thank you? Who's next? Yo?

Speaker 6 (10:20):
What up?

Speaker 8 (10:20):
This is Brandon from Brooklyn, New York.

Speaker 4 (10:22):
What are your thoughts on the Kendrick record.

Speaker 8 (10:24):
I'm not a big fan.

Speaker 4 (10:26):
He dropped two.

Speaker 10 (10:26):
We're still waiting on Drake to go, of course, not
trying to be biased even though I'm a Drake fan,
but we're gonna see how personal it gets in these
next rounds.

Speaker 3 (10:34):
We're waiting on Drake.

Speaker 9 (10:35):
Listen, Pip Sweet pipe down.

Speaker 8 (10:37):
How are you big stepping with the size of Menzo? Well,
she was about to happen next.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
Okay, all right, well, you guys can call us up
eight hundred two ninety two, fifty one to fifty. We
will play your reactions in the last word, make sure
you also hit us up on social media at way
up with ye. I mean, really, that's what everyone's going
to be talking about all weekend. I know we're gonna
learn a lot, so Monday will have even more to
talk about.

Speaker 4 (10:57):
It's way up for this relationship with careers.

Speaker 5 (11:00):
Angela's dropping facts.

Speaker 4 (11:04):
What's up? His way up?

Speaker 2 (11:05):
But Angela yee, Angela yee. And it is time for
ask ye any question that you have. I am here
to save the day, to help you as much as
I can. Eight hundred fifty is a number.

Speaker 9 (11:16):
Hello, Hi, Hey is this I can't say my name.
They said I didn't have to, but you don't have
what I'm about to share.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
Uh oh, all right, well I'm here for it. Let's
hear your question for ask ye.

Speaker 9 (11:29):
Here's the thing. Me and my male friend were being
intimate and basically I had a little bit of a
shart during the sessions, right like a full log. Well
it was like a half a log.

Speaker 4 (11:44):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 9 (11:47):
It was very embarrassing, I'm telling you. And so now
he's acting a little bit weird, like distant. I just
hope that he and I could get back on track,
you know what I mean, Because.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
It's really so nobody addressed it. What happened when the
log happens? Yeah, like, what did you stop? Did you say?

Speaker 4 (12:05):
Sorry? Like, what what happened?

Speaker 9 (12:08):
I kind of put my hand on it by mistake.
That's how I know it happened. And I was like,
oh my god. I was like, don't cut the light on.
And so he cut the light on its one purpose
because I said don't. H Yeah, so he's like, oh
my god, He's like are you are you okay? Are
you embarrassed? And I was like I'm very embarrassed. And
so we both got up together, took the sheets off,

(12:28):
and I took a shower, and then it just was
awkward after that. We didn't we didn't continue.

Speaker 4 (12:33):
Well, yeah, that might kill the move. Whose house was this?

Speaker 9 (12:36):
That we were actually out of room?

Speaker 2 (12:39):
Okay? Good, So nobody's sheets was ruined. It wasn't yours or.

Speaker 5 (12:42):
His, no hotel.

Speaker 4 (12:46):
All you could do at a point like this is
make a joke.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
You know, you should send him a text message with
a poop emoji and put that you know, ish happens
and are we still cool?

Speaker 9 (12:56):
I love that?

Speaker 4 (12:57):
Yeah. I think all you can.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
Do is acknowledge it a joke and then you know,
try to move past it. Yeah, and be like I
promise you, Like, I know this is a cliche line,
but this is the first time this has ever happened
to me.

Speaker 9 (13:10):
You just got to be it really is the first time.
We had just went out. Not to cut you off,
but we had just went out to dinner for my birthday. Ooh,
and I think that the food that we had it
just kind of ran right through me, like literally, yeah,
so I think that's what happened.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
So yeah, sorry for the birthday poop. You know, maybe
that can be a new tradition. You just got to
make a joke out of it so everybody can be
more comfortable to talk about it, right, because sometimes we
just try to move past something no one addresses it
and then it's awkward, and you just got to like
put it out there the same way you put that
log out there.

Speaker 4 (13:43):
Put it out there.

Speaker 9 (13:44):
I got you, I appreciate you. Ye, And that is
a good suggestion. I'm definitely gonna do that, because, like
I said, he's just not a full on ghost. It's
not like he's all the way ghosting me, but it's
definitely like, you know, it's awkward.

Speaker 2 (13:55):
Yeah, it's like a half a ghost like you're half
a poop. Thank you, no problem, good.

Speaker 4 (14:07):
Luck with that. This don't sound like anything that you
can't get past.

Speaker 3 (14:11):
You know good.

Speaker 9 (14:12):
I'm glad to hear you say that. Thank you. I
appreciate you.

Speaker 4 (14:15):
All right, no problem that was asked.

Speaker 9 (14:17):
I'm good.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
Thank you Toobe. Eight hundred two nine fifty one fifty
is a number. In case you couldn't get through, you
can always leave a message. We'll answer your questions. You
can also hit that microphone on the iHeartRadio app and
ask a question that way, leave a message that way,
and when we come back Raray McLoud is going to
be joining us. He has his own record label, but
he's also an NFL player actively for the Atlanta Falcons.

Speaker 4 (14:37):
It's way up to do this, yeah, y'all.

Speaker 6 (14:40):
More way up with Angela on now what what's up?

Speaker 4 (14:46):
His way up with Angela yee.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
I'm Angela yee and Ray McCloud is here with me today.

Speaker 4 (14:50):
What's up?

Speaker 5 (14:50):
What's good? How you doing?

Speaker 2 (14:52):
I know people are surprised like Angela is talking about
about football a little bit, but we're really talking about.

Speaker 5 (14:57):
Music today, music in life.

Speaker 2 (14:59):
All right, Well, let's talk about everything that you have
going on, because it's so much. You're in Atlanta now
you're playing for the Falcons and you have Do you
have a studio in Atlanta too?

Speaker 5 (15:07):
I do?

Speaker 4 (15:07):
So how long have you had that?

Speaker 5 (15:09):
Two years?

Speaker 2 (15:09):
So you had that before you even knew you were
going to be playing for the Falcons, and so it
really is kind of an ideal situation for you.

Speaker 5 (15:16):
Yeah, like second home god works.

Speaker 2 (15:18):
I mean now being in Atlanta you have a black
head coach also, is that yeah?

Speaker 5 (15:24):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (15:24):
Second is that significant for you though? Like how do
you feel about that because there's only I think six now.

Speaker 13 (15:30):
Coaches and good people come in all colors. But just
having someone that can relate to you just to be
able to walk and my shoes comfortable, not I have
to act a little bit is a different feeling.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
A boss up here is a black woman and this
is the first time I ever had a black woman.
We call her coach also, and so it is a
different feeling when somebody can relate to you in a
different way.

Speaker 13 (15:50):
I used to feel like I have to like watch
what I do, like to be myself sometimes I used
to have my hair braided and wear hat, so it's
like my hair is not loud, like I'm not in
the room being extra, you know, like when I was
at Pittsburgh, seriously black coach, It's like I can't go
to practice, how I want to go with my du
rag phone, with my du rat right, my coach were
a du rat. So, but it's more of just the

(16:12):
life I live in. Life lifestyle I'm in. I'm in entertainment.
I've been in that since I've to before football because
my family, dad was into it, and that's what I
was going into it, you know, So I'm used to that,
used to dressing, used to I always had a chain.
I got trouble with my rookie year, like, oh you
this is what you spend your money on? Like I
had this in college.

Speaker 5 (16:30):
I came like this. Yeah, it's like I had high school.

Speaker 13 (16:33):
But that's always been who I am, and sometimes I
get in trouble for that, for.

Speaker 5 (16:37):
Being who I am.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
You know, right now we are talking to Atlanta Falcons
player Ray Ray McLeod and you're in Atlanta.

Speaker 4 (16:42):
I mean, Atlanta is going to be lit for you.
With the music.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
I know. You said your dad has been in music
and he's worked with some legendary artists too. So let's
get into the background of how you kind of grew
up in this music business.

Speaker 13 (16:55):
Actually, my uncle, my mom's brother was He was a
beach k before they kind of took off, and he
wanted to be a solo carl O Anderson, baby Simon
baby face for a while.

Speaker 4 (17:04):
And wait, he was in B two K.

Speaker 5 (17:06):
Before they took off everything.

Speaker 4 (17:08):
What happened that made him leave?

Speaker 5 (17:09):
I heard it.

Speaker 13 (17:10):
That's how my dad got into music. Okay, to him,
he was man gym and music took off for him.

Speaker 2 (17:14):
So were you learning how to produce and do things
just from watching sometimes.

Speaker 5 (17:19):
At a young age?

Speaker 12 (17:20):
Was?

Speaker 5 (17:20):
But my dad made me stop doing music.

Speaker 13 (17:22):
He stopped, he got out of music for like when
I was about eleven twelve, where he focused on ball
with me and just we ran with it. And one
of my artists Ronte, he right here that I'll get
back into it if y'all take it serious and y'all
show me y'all want it.

Speaker 5 (17:34):
So for years we had to do it on our own.

Speaker 13 (17:36):
But once he started taking to see it and my
dad was like, man, I hope y'all get back into it.

Speaker 9 (17:40):
We're here now.

Speaker 5 (17:40):
We took so many leaps, we just got the papers
for a deal.

Speaker 13 (17:43):
We just got merging with so with Virgin with who
version version of Recolabel.

Speaker 2 (17:48):
That's interesting that it's a choice between music and sports.
Your dad wanted you to go more for football.

Speaker 13 (17:54):
Football was always my main thing. No, but you know,
he was in the music, so I was around it.
That was around the Romeo bo era, so he was.
I saw me and Snoopy relationship because of that Snoop Dogg.
Because he was in a football we played against each other,
So me and Cordea's son.

Speaker 4 (18:09):
All right.

Speaker 2 (18:09):
Atlanta Falcons player Ray Ray McCloud is here with us,
but he's also doing music. He did music for Running
Underdog Story that was his movie also and also for
the Madden NFL twenty four soundtracks. So he's got a
lot going on. We're going to talk about some music.
It's way up, biddy.

Speaker 5 (18:25):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yee's but you all.

Speaker 4 (18:28):
Been waiting for You're tapped in the way up with
Angela Yee. What's up?

Speaker 2 (18:33):
His way up at Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee and
Atlanta Falcons player Ray McCloud is here. His artist Isaac
Ronte is here. That's right, his artist, He has his
own record label. He's been doing music and movies and
now he is really moving to the forefront.

Speaker 4 (18:45):
So let's talk about the single that you have.

Speaker 2 (18:47):
It's not even out out yet, and like you said,
it's hard to google to find some of the music.

Speaker 5 (18:51):
When are you.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
Going to be able to be like, Okay, I'm ready
to put this out there for people to be able
to listen. Because the song is called give Me the Keys,
and and it's on your page, it's on your Instagram there.

Speaker 13 (19:03):
That's one of our singles. We actually had three singles
that dropped from the project, stud and Don't Call Me
with Tyler yahweh. And those are two singles on there
that we had like a multiple people on and then
the rest of us, me and him and our project
called day Once Give Me the Kids, probably our main
single we probably pushed.

Speaker 5 (19:20):
Any day now for real.

Speaker 2 (19:21):
And Isaac Rantad, like you said, he's here, he's your artist,
So tell me how that happened.

Speaker 5 (19:25):
The true story or the true story?

Speaker 4 (19:27):
Why would I not want the true story?

Speaker 5 (19:29):
He was for real, he was growing up.

Speaker 4 (19:33):
Explain this, okay.

Speaker 13 (19:35):
So he played on the opposite team. Everybody want to
beat me? My cousin one day was just like he
lived me. I was like, man, you're hanging out with
the ops too much, bro, like my cousin hanging out
with him and my cousin like a teddy bear. One
day he just called me over like this is my cousin.
He and we wapped it up and ever since then
we've been together today for real. And then when I
was hanging out with him as he used to sing
like he was singing ne Yo Jesse McCartney, brobably Valentino,

(19:58):
and I was like, you need to take that series
we started recording. It's like, not throw him in the fire.
We'll be around like me and like me and him
and like nine girls and like I bro sing bro.

Speaker 5 (20:07):
And then they all be talking about music like my
dog is sing for real.

Speaker 12 (20:10):
And then he'll sing nah nah, I'm ready to leave.

Speaker 5 (20:13):
I'm ready to leave, come on, ready to go home.

Speaker 2 (20:15):
That is embarrassing to start singing in front of the
girls while we're hanging.

Speaker 13 (20:19):
But but the thing was it was a girl though
like that wan't talking though that she she won't speak
the whole time. She had little boyfriends, so she was
being respectful. She didn't say one word the whole time
and any of us is there. As soon as I
said my brother sing, she jumped up. I'm like, you
can sing, and that's the girl he was talking about
all night. I said, not you got She locked in
now tying up, so we end up leaving.

Speaker 5 (20:39):
I'm like, bro, you folded, bro. Like So that was
like ninth grade I think.

Speaker 7 (20:43):
And then.

Speaker 5 (20:45):
Long story short man. He went to call.

Speaker 13 (20:46):
He went through college. He played ball too. He was
my quarterback in high school. After running back, so we
always playing around with the music stuff.

Speaker 2 (20:52):
Right now we are talking to Atlanta Falcons player Ray
Ray McLeod.

Speaker 4 (20:56):
I feel like.

Speaker 2 (20:56):
Isaac wants to get on the mic. So you're the
shy brother doesn't like to sing in front of the ladies.

Speaker 10 (21:01):
Nah, it ain't like that. It was just at the
time I played football. That's what I was known for.
Like now it's more like nowadays you see people do
all kinds of stuff on the internet. But back then,
I was like I was playing football, like it was
mainly I didn't want to sing and all that.

Speaker 4 (21:14):
Like, Okay, so it's the perception of being the R
and B guy.

Speaker 10 (21:18):
Yeah, yeah, I ain't want that on it because in
my mind I'm going to the league. You know what
I'm saying, like I'm playing football, So.

Speaker 4 (21:24):
We cannot wait for this music to come out.

Speaker 2 (21:25):
I got a little bit of an exclusive and if
we look at your page, we can see some snippets
not the full thing. And you can also watch the
movie the series running underduct story that sound to be
right now? Is there anything that we missed that we
want to make sure that we talk about anything.

Speaker 13 (21:40):
A single right now? That's the main focus for real.
That's the project with the main for him.

Speaker 4 (21:45):
Who's that song about?

Speaker 5 (21:47):
Ain't me?

Speaker 3 (21:54):
