Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're on with Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Mikes are now live. Mario Lopez here back in the
mix for you ever more music and fun our mentions
are now open. Self. You got a comment or question?
Hit me? M now fired up about the actor who's
gonna play Chris Farley in the biopick. I'm gonna share
that a little later in the Hollywood Buzz. But up next,
got to talk about this Golden Bachelor divorce. You're on
with Mario Lopez. You're Mario Lopez and the Golden Bachelor

(00:26):
turned out to be pirike.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
On with Mario Lopez Hollywood Buzz.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
So everyone was hoping that the Golden Bachelor's relationship would
last longer than this. After only three months, Gary Turner
and Theresa filed for divorce. Apparently they couldn't even decide
on where to live. I guess that apparently never came
up during the show. I'm only surprised because when you're older,
you kind of have your or you assume you have
your stuff together. You you kind of don't have as

(00:54):
much energy to sweat the small stuff.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Or to like relocate to another city.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
Yeah, if you're gonna make a decision like getting married,
you kind of you just kind of I assume you
would just want companionship. You're good to go, not old Gary.
Dirty Gary's out there, mister Ki Wright. Yeah, he's got which,
by the way, the full disclosure, I just learned that
word fools gold. He apparently has a not a shady past,
but a playboy passed not as melancholy as one would

(01:21):
think in his years as a widower. So all kinds
of stories are coming out now, So I guess you know,
age really is not a factor when it comes to love.
But hey, hopefully they had a good time.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Kind of Mario Lopez coming up, y'are Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Let's take a look at what's on TV today? What
do we got?

Speaker 3 (01:41):
Access premieres Sounds Delicious with Carnie Wilson, a cooking show
starring the Wilson Phillips singer and her famous musician guests.
Huh okay, all right, not into that one.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
Well, I was waiting for a little spin. I was hoping,
all right, we don't know, maybe she sings with their
musical guests, Maybe they sing while they cook. Maybe that'd
be fun.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Paramount Plus debuts Control Alt Desire, a three part doc
about a man who was convicted of murdering his family
after having an obsessive relationship with an internet camgirl.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Ooh one, this is getting this paper is getting put
on the shelf. I'm into it, Mario Lopez. Here is
still a lot of buzz about Cochella Weekend, like Will
Smith's surprise cameo, Taylor Swift's appearance of course with her boyfriend,
or the artist who is now apologizing for her performance.
You can get caught up on what everyone's talking about

(02:32):
on Mario dot Com. Mario Lopez, We're getting a biopick
about one of the funniest actors of all.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
Time on with Mario Hollywood Buzz.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
So there's a project currently being shopped all over town,
a biopic about SNL legend Chris Barley, who's probably one
of my favorite SNL alums. He is just awesome, not
just ANSNL in his movie movies as well, and starring
a buddy of mine, Paul Walter Hauser, who's an awesome
actor in his own right and physically looks the part.

(03:10):
He's obviously got the chops. I couldn't think a better cast.
I think he was born for this unbelievable casting. When
I read this, I was like, oh my gosh. So
it's based on a book written by Chris's brother and
the director is going to be Josh Dad, which is interesting.
I don't know if this is his directorial debut. I
believe it is, but he's also a talented actor. Happens
to be a bit of a heavier guy himself, so

(03:32):
maybe he can relate to other themes I'm not trying
to be funny, but maybe certain themes in the film. Farley,
of course, starred in movies like Black Sheep and Tommy
Boy before his tragic overdose in nineteen ninety seven. One
of my favorite skits ever on SNL was when he
was a Chippendale dancer with Patrick Sways. That's just classic.
I don't know if you have ever seen a picture

(03:52):
of Chris Farley with his father, but I saw one recently.
His dad looks just like a but bigger by the way,
looks just like him as well. Yeah, Chris Farley was
a small one in the family right there. But I
love that dude, and I can't wait for this movie
to come out more. Mario Lopez coming up, Mario Lopez
here in This is a big week for swift. Eas

(04:13):
Taylor's new album, The Tortured Poet's Department drops it at
midnight on Friday. She just don't stop. Got lots planned
to including an album listening party where she's gonna share
stories about the songs. It's gonna be the music release
of the year, so you're gonna want to be a
part of it. Get the details on Lamara dot com.
Mario Lopez, here was some quick buzz for you, CBS
bringing back Melrose Place for yet another reboot. At least

(04:36):
three of the ogs are back, including Heather Lucklear. Oh
but a minute since we've seen her. Show originally aired
from nineteen ninety two to nineteen ninety nine, and there
was a reboot in two thousand and nine that lasted
one season on the CW. Really, Mario Lopez and I
got to hang out in Chicago and in some of
the suburbs there while I was filming my latest movie.

(04:59):
I love people in Chicago. The people in the Midwestern
so so nice, and they embraced us and we're very welcoming.
I can't say enough nice things about the great people
in Chicago, great restaurants and everything. However, uh oh, I
think I experienced all four seasons in three weeks, mainly winter.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
Well, you were shooting a holiday movie.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Which you would think would bode well, but it was
ridiculously cold. It was in the twenties. It was snowing,
and then it would be not hot but relatively warm,
but still cold air. And it would mess us up
because when we had to shoot certain scenes that were
back to back, one would look really overcast and dark,
and then it would be very bright. So we had

(05:43):
to get creative, and we would stop for a long
times with uh, We'd stop for long times for lighting.
I went and was excited to take my son to
Wrigley Field to see a Cubs game on the Sunday,
and then the forecast said it was supposed to be
about seventy degrees. I'm like, perfect seventy on Sunday. Well
that lasted two innings. Then it started raining like a

(06:03):
down tall. He was delayed three hours, and I'm like,
oh no, we got to bounce after this. So that
was a bit of a monkey wrench. If they can
handle it, if they can get a hold of that,
and somehow we're going to work on that.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
Every time you go to shoot one of these holiday movies.
The weather is a problem. You went to Tennessee a
couple of years ago when there were tornado.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
Was in tornadoes. I know. Spring is a weird funny time.
It's temperamental. It is temperamental. Outside of southern California, you
get really, really spoiled. But all in all, Chicago was a.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
Blessed more Mario Lopez on the.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
Way, Mario Lopez here, want to salute everyone over at
the Talk. CBS is giving the show one last season.
It's fifteenth and then they are turning off the lights.
They've gone through a bevy of different hosts. The finale
will be in December. I'm sure they're going to be
planning something big, So congrats to them. All right, let's
get back to music right now, right now, Mario Lopez here,

(06:57):
and now we know the data. Pat's Ajack's final episode
of Will of Fortune. It was just taped earlier in
the month. It's going to air on Friday, June seventh.
Pat has of course hosted the show since nineteen eighty
to forty one seasons in total. I think that's the
longest run ever. Ryan Seacrest is going to take over
in the fall. Good luck y'all, Mario Lopez, Kenya Moore

(07:19):
can't say no to the.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
Canvas on with Mario Hollywood Buzz.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
So bravo retooling The Real Housewives of Atlanta for season sixteen.
Samuel Richards, Candy Burris, and Marlo Hampton are all stepping away,
but one cast member is coming back for the reboot,
Kenya Moore. She's now been part of the show since
season five. No word yet I when production is going
to start for season sixteen. Season fifteen rap back in September,

(07:44):
and usually they launch right into the next season. Wow.
If you're able to go back to back that many seasons,
you've got some thick skin and you are a true soldier.
Candy Burris has done quite well for herself outside side
of the franchise with her side businesses and products and

(08:05):
writing music. So good for her to capitalize and good
luck to the rest of ladies.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
More Mario Lopez coming up?

Speaker 2 (08:14):
What al Mario Lopez here? These gender revealed announcements keep
getting more outlandish, But Suki Waterhouse is gonna be tough
to beat. She announced her baby sex on the stage
from Kachella. She and Robert Pattinson had a girl still
waiting for her name though. That's a new trend that
I just kind of isarre to me.

Speaker 3 (08:33):
You got to wait until the iHeart Festival for that.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
Okay, oh wow, that'd be funny. All right, let's get
back to the music now, what al Mario Lopez? Here
was some quick buzz for you. Swatt's turned into the
show that cannot be cancelled. CBS is bringing it back

(08:58):
for season eight after saying that set and would be
its last. This is the second time that's happened. Shout
out to my guys. Jamar Moore, who's Baby Grow Nation,
Baby Girl Nation. He's been on the show here a
few times, so good for him. All right, let's get
back to music. You're on Mario Lopez. Time to get
your comments. What do we got?

Speaker 3 (09:18):
This is from at explicitly awk. You're totally right, Mario,
people have no common sense. It's never fun finding out
that you're giving people too much credit.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
So this is referring to a post or I said,
my toxic trait is thinking most people have common sense,
then finding out they don't very disappointing. It gets really frustrating,
especially if those are people you work with. No one
in this room by the way. But here's the deal.
As I've gotten older. You think the sky is green?
You know what the sky is green? Yes, you're correct.

(09:50):
I just be agreen with everyone this you do you? Yeah,
I just be agreeing. I don't try to I don't
try to get any sort of debate. Okay, Yes, guy's
been all right. You got it? Baby, Hit us.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
Up on Twitter and on with Mario and hang on
more Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
On the way, John Mario Lopez got some slabs. Turning
a year older today, I'm gona try to guess the
ages what we got.

Speaker 3 (10:10):
Anya Taylor Joy from The Queen's Gambit, Peaky Blinders.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
Twenty nine, twenty eight, Oh okay.

Speaker 3 (10:18):
Claire Foy from The Crown. She was in the first
few seasons, played the Queen, the Girl in The Spider's
Web thirty four forty Martin Lawrence mar Ben Bad Boys,
Wild Hogs Martin.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
Martin, He's got to be My guy's gotta be fifty
six fifty nine, Oh okay.

Speaker 3 (10:36):
And Kareem Abdul Jabbar Lakers Legend from Airplane he was
on Dancing with the Stars. He was in here once. Yes,
he was seventy seventy seven.

Speaker 2 (10:45):
Wow, Wow, Wow.

Speaker 1 (10:48):
More Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
Mario Lopez. There's something to celebrate every single today. Today's
holiday is National Librarian Day. Shout out to them, because
I don't think many people frequent the library these days
other than to use the computers. It's a good gig,
nice and quiet. You can get your other work done.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
You get to shush people all day.

Speaker 2 (11:08):
Yeah, Happy Librarrian Day. What a Mario Lopez here. Fans
are going gaga over the trailer to Joker Too. It's
become the most talked about trailer since Barbie. One hundred
and sixty seven million views in the first twenty four hours.
The original movie earned a billion dollars. That's wild. So
with Gaga joining the cast, Warner Brothers is setting its
sights on Barbie's one point four billion dollar box office.

(11:31):
Might have a musical element to it as well. I'm
hearing Joker Too drop it in theaters in October. You're
a Mario Lopez and Megan Fox done with men on
with Mario Hollywood buzz. So this comes after Megan and
Machine Gun Kelly announced.

Speaker 3 (11:49):
MGK he changed his name.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
Yes, that's right, MGK. Pardon me announced they were calling
off their engagement. Shocker. Megan says their advice to women
is to learn a hobby and skill and stop wasting
time and energy on boys. She says, to invest in yourself. Okay,
Megan isn't saying what the current status of a relationship
with MGK is, but she still calls him her twin soul. Huh.

(12:12):
You know that whole relationship, which to me was Angelina
Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton two point zero. Yes, uh,
lasted a little longer than I thought it would. The
wild thing is when Angeline and Joli was going out
Billy Thornton, she wasn't a mom yet, Megan out here
wilding out with three kids at home. Not to say

(12:35):
there's anything wrong with moms having a good time.

Speaker 3 (12:37):
Ironically, though, becoming a mom and adopting that kid is
what ended that relationship with Billy Bob Thornton for Angelina Jolie.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
Oh that's true. Look at that. Huh. I'm sure Megan's
gonna be just fine though.

Speaker 1 (12:48):
More Mario Lopez coming.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
Up, Mario Lopez, here was some quick bluss for you.
Dua Lipa. We'll be doing double duty next month on
Saturday Night Live. She's the host and musical guest on
May third. Do Hus been down and acting recently with
the roles in Argyle and Barbie. Good for her. All right,
let's get back to music. What a Mario Lopez here
the next big music dot coming to Hulu, dropping a

(13:10):
week from Friday. Thank You, Good Night, The bon Jovie Story.
It's four part series. The trailer is on our website,
not only all the footage from the eighties, but also
John struggle today with vocal cord injuries. You can see
what it's all about at Olinmario dot com. John Mario
Lopez time of for one last thing. Now that the

(13:30):
ninety nine cents only stores are shutting down, my mom
is very disappointed about this. People are trying to cash
in on memorabilia. Items from the stores have started popping
up on eBay, stuff like reusable bags, employee vests, even
unused gift cards. Some of the stuff is going for
Big Bucks to all three hundred and seventy one store
locations are shutting down due to financial difficulties. Wow. If

(13:53):
dollar stores are having it rough, that means we are
really in a rough period. I used to love taking
the kids there, giving them like ten bucks and then
knock yourself out and then they go get whatever they want.
And it was a fun little ton of stuff. Yeah,
that's too bad.

Speaker 1 (14:07):
Well, Mario Lopez will be right back all right.

Speaker 2 (14:11):
Time for me to pass the mind. But I will
be back tomorrow with more Hollywood Bus for you and
a new case in Courtney's court. Until then, Mario Lopez
saying good night
