I was like, that guy's running full speed, doesn't see
the pole.

pretty big. I'm going to stop off and do it
one day. We're going to do it. Yeah, it's fun.

But top golf was pretty fly. I ain't gonna lie.

And I got frat a little bit, not all the
way frat, not not frat chicken like extra crispy, but
it was good. I was I was drinking strawberry Margarita's nice. Yeah,
I don't get it done. Yeah, like three of them.

It was good. Let me ask you this though, when
you go to Vegas, okay, are you also gonna go
to Top Golf there? You see to do like Vegas.

Well, now that I've done it and and sticking, you know,
sticking up for months, obviously, I think I might do
Top golf in uh in Vegas, I might have to
do it.

at the Top Golf in Vegas?

the arcade at at MGM.

Well, but the problem is when you when you're with
a bunch of people it's a bachelor party, and like
you're seeing people play connect for next to some slot machines.
I'm like, why are we here? And they just wanted
to stay. I said, all right, I'll see at the
next wedding. I'm out of here. I just went to
the next hotel.

It sucks.

And if you're going at a bachelor party and you're
in Vegas, there's so much more to do and so
many more problems you can get.

Like shoot an oozy if you want, you could do
crazy stuff. Really could probably go throw a hand grid in.
I don't even if that's true, but I probably could.
You can probably find a guy who's like, hey, come
over here, I've got a hand grenades. You can throw
the pull the pin, throw them. You never done that before.

You could probably go dig a body out. There's probably
bodies in these areas. You just get your you know,
I don't know, but you're just saying. Like what you're said,
it's true. Like there you can find anything to do.

bowling any better? I love bowling, all right. I used
to have like seven bowls.

I'll say this, I'm really good at bowling, so I
probably enjoy bowling more. But I will say golfing was fun.
Swinging was fun. I enjoyed it.

Problem is, and there's no outdoor bowling alleys that I
know of, like to where during the summertime. You know,
you get a nice breeze, you know, knock down some pins,
you know, ben the elbow a little bit, you know,
have some fun. You got to be stuck in a
bowling alley and you smell like that shoe polish.

After we did have one let go of the of
the club. We did have one, and it almost hit me.
If my if my reflexes weren't still cat like, I
might have took an ale, I might have been up
in here and been on the ir for real.

it with with with the tips of my fingers. That's

I would say this. I don't think I ever claimed
them as my Minnesota Timberwolves. Yeah, there was somebody who
kept saying my Minnesota Timberwolves.

well listen, yeah, well right now, the strength of the
pack the wolf and the pack of the wolf. The
pack and the strength of the wolf. I know that
they appear to have been neutered a little bit.

We give Denver some credit. They've made adjustments. They i mean,
they completely neutralized Jokich the first two games. Now they've
kind of come back and they've been able to find
ways of working their offense. Kind of a round a minute,
and I know everyone's gonna look at the end of
the first half and say, like that was the swing.
Maybe it was, right, what was that like a five
point you know kind of player sequence.

Yeah, it was a big moment. They didn't that wasn't
the game.

No, I mean, there was plenty of time afterwards obviously
to make it up. But it did kind of like
if there was some of the men going into halftime,
that was like an exclamation point to it. You know.

Now, Michael Malone, the head coach of the Denver Nuggets,
you know, he had something to say to guys like
LeVar who said it was over, and it was over
after game two.

I think when we were leaving Denver, a lot of

She's the momager. She handles all of that stuff, recruiting, visits,
all the tournaments, all.

to the local ones, but I don't. I don't travel.
I don't go all do on all that travel. The
farthest you'll go, like for like my kids tournaments and
stuff like that. The furthest i'll go is like Orange County,
a long beach. It's like twenty minutes, yes, like an

hour drive. But but like.

Is that like as far as the studio, I mean, yes, yes,

let's go back to the series.

We can't set up your son's recruiting trips on the area. Well,

and they exercised it. And now they've put the Minnesota
I think Minnesota vikings. They put the Timberwolves in a
position where this game is more important to them than
it is to the Nuggets. The Nuggets can put together
two games series to win two games, I don't think

the Timberwolves can win two times in a row. I
don't think so. So they can't lose this game and
one games one and two. I don't think they can
do it. At this point in the series, you think
all of the heart has been taken out of I'm
not going to say that. I just think the familiarity
is there. They've settled into the series and they need
to win this game, this next one coming up.

Anthony Edwards uh, And we've got a little bit from
him afterwards. But one of the things that he did
say was that he felt like the extra day off
in between games two and three hurt them, like they
were going every other night and then all of a sudden,
you know, they had a couple of nights off in
a row, and he felt like it hurt him.

I don't know if there's anything to that, because, well,
you get a little bit of time to interact, like
what Johnson about in Knoxville. You know, there's interaction time

find yourself in a heated exchange. A heated exchange can
change everything. It can change the energy, the approach, the intensity.

see how they come out if indeed it was more
more or less like kind of because Jamal Murray has
that he has that kind of way about him where
you know, he can be, you know, maybe irritant the
way that he kind of or handles things. So it

Well, in case you missed his report, all right, he
reports that apparently the quarterback room in Chicago last year
was very toxic from uh, mostly coming from Justin Field's
point of view, saying that he and Andy Dalton and
Nick Foles were extremely toxic towards each other. He could
never be seen with the veterans who were brought in

to teach the young quarterback. There was several arguments among
the quarterbacks. Foles was trying to teach something to fields
in the quarterback room. At one point, Upon turning towards
the rookie, Foles realized Fields wasn't even paying attention. His
head was turned down. At that point, Foles was done
trying to mentor the young quarterback. The two could not
stand each other.

Yeah, well two things. That's why quarterback room dynamic is
so important slash unique. I mean, it's really the only
position that you only have one of. I mean, even
running backs, you're gonna share carries. But like every other
position group, there's chance of having two, maybe three out
there in the field together, maybe more. You know, that's
(36:41):
the only one that I saw you one guy, and
so it makes the dynamic of you know, if you can,
you know, kind of have your role, know your role.
But in the case of Justin Fields, he maybe felt
like he'd been in the league long enough where he
doesn't need a lot of that. Even though Foles has
won a Super Bowl, been around a long time, Dalton
had a ton of you know, successful years and runs,
(37:02):
and so you could see how that dynamic between a
young guy and an older guy can can go the
wrong direction. But I'll say this just from knowing Andy
and Nick, those are two of the nicest guys in
the world like you you can't, Like you'd be hard
you'd be hard pressed to find two nicer people and
guys who probably just want to help. Like I have
a hard time believe there's a lot of ill will.

You know, it seems like, you know, whatever was going on,
you know, maybe that was just a matter of justin
field just didn't see it the same way. Don't want
to listen to it.

And if you're going at a bachelor party and you're
in Vegas, there's so much more to do and so

You can probably find a guy who's like, hey, come
over here, I've got a hand grenades. You can throw
the pull the pin, throw them. You never done that before.

You could probably go dig a body out. There's probably
bodies in these areas. You just get your you know,

Problem is, and there's no outdoor bowling alleys that I
know of, like to where during the summertime. You know,
you get a nice breeze, you know, knock down some pins,

There's a lot of that in there, right right, yeah, right, yeah,
well listen, yeah, well right now, the strength of the
pack the wolf and the pack of the wolf. The
pack and the strength of the wolf. I know that
they appear to have been neutered a little bit.

We give Denver some credit. They've made adjustments. They i mean,
they completely neutralized Jokich the first two games. Now they've
kind of come back and they've been able to find
ways of working their offense. Kind of a round a minute,
and I know everyone's gonna look at the end of
the first half and say, like that was the swing.
Maybe it was, right, what was that like a five
point you know kind of player sequence.
Speaker 1 (18:21):
Yeah, it was a big moment. They didn't that wasn't
the game.
Speaker 4 (18:24):
No, I mean, there was plenty of time afterwards obviously
to make it up. But it did kind of like
if there was some of the men going into halftime,
that was like an exclamation point to it. You know.

Now, Michael Malone, the head coach of the Denver Nuggets,
you know, he had something to say to guys like
LeVar who said it was over, and it was over
after game two.

I think when we were leaving Denver, a lot of
people I don't think in Denver, but a lot of
people were, you know, understandably. So Sanda series is over,
and uh, you know, to come up here and even
it up on the road. We've played good basketball. Rudy
t is right, man. Never underestimate the heart of a champion. Yeah,
I mean, like they were quick to write us off.
You know, but these guys, we won a championship a

She's the momager. She handles all of that stuff, recruiting, visits,
all the tournaments, all.

No, yeah, I don't. I don't be there. I'll go
to the local ones, but I don't. I don't travel.
I don't go all do on all that travel. The
farthest you'll go, like for like my kids tournaments and
stuff like that. The furthest i'll go is like Orange County,
a long beach. It's like twenty minutes, yes, like an

hour drive. But but like.

Ain't gonna work for me. Yeah, that's a note for me.
Is that like as far as the studio, I mean, yes, yes,
that's correct.

I don't. I don't fly to their their events. Like, man,
it's got a visit to Tennessee and and Michigan coming up.

We can't set up your son's recruiting trips on the area. Well,

You want to go on their balance? Really yeah, let

So, speaking of self control, the Nuggets had self control
and they exercised it. And now they've put the Minnesota
I think Minnesota vikings. They put the Timberwolves in a
position where this game is more important to them than
it is to the Nuggets. The Nuggets can put together
two games series to win two games, I don't think
(21:34):
the Timberwolves can win two times in a row. I
don't think so. So they can't lose this game and
one games one and two. I don't think they can
do it. At this point in the series, you think
all of the heart has been taken out of I'm
not going to say that. I just think the familiarity
is there. They've settled into the series and they need
to win this game, this next one coming up.
Speaker 2 (21:56):
Anthony Edwards uh, And we've got a little bit from
him afterwards. But one of the things that he did
say was that he felt like the extra day off
in between games two and three hurt them, like they
were going every other night and then all of a sudden,
you know, they had a couple of nights off in
a row, and he felt like it hurt him.

I don't know if there's anything to that, because, well,
you get a little bit of time to interact, like
what Johnson about in Knoxville. You know, there's interaction time
and he's hot. Oh yeah, oh yeah, he's hot, you think.
I mean, you just never know that day off. Man,
like give you a little bit too much time. Sometimes

you don't need that time. Sometimes time ain't on your side.
I mean, Aunt was great, Well, he was great last night.
He was not the problem.

The problem was they couldn't get stops and Jamal Murray
you know, with the big momentum swing. But afterwards, Anthony
Edwards had a little bit of a conversation with some
members of the Denver Nuggets on the court, and then
he also talked about what he expects moving far world.

Let's take a listen, Anthony, did you you have any
words with the Jamal or any of the Nuggets at
the end of the game there looked.

Like, yeah, yeah, I just told his as that's what
we love that keep keep talking that, that's what we like, well,
I love it. You know, so he ain't say nothing back,
but I'm pretty sure you heard me. They hurt me,
and we live for that. I don't think they got
any momentum. I mean, we won two games. They won
two games. At this point, it's just whoever went two games.
So I don't know how people look at it, but
I look at it like I'm happy. I'm it's we're

competing at the highest level, and I'm smiling about it
because I'm happy. I'm ready to go play, and we
play tomorrow, I'll be ready, so it's gonna be fun.

I mean, and listen, I've never had to deal in
those those terms. You know, you tah crazy to somebody
during the game. That's it. Like you might see him
in playoffs. I wouldn't see him in the playoffs. We
didn't really, I didn't play in the playoffs. But but
seeing somebody repeatedly over and over again, I can't even
imagine what that feels like in terms of the familiarity

of one another, the competition between you know one another
and having to do it over and over again. It's
just something I've never been a part of, but I
feel like that would be pretty pretty intense if you
find yourself in a heated exchange. A heated exchange can
change everything. It can change the energy, the approach, the intensity.
(24:40):
It just changes everything. And so it'd be interesting to
see how they come out if indeed it was more
more or less like kind of because Jamal Murray has
that he has that kind of way about him where
you know, he can be, you know, maybe irritant the
way that he kind of or handles things. So it
(25:01):
would be interesting to see how they they lock up next.

Game Kentucky guys man, something about it, you know, Frank

And then you know, we were going to touch on
game four between the Knicks and the Pacers, but I mean,
what's the point. You know, like you don't want to
say anything because you don't want Rick Carlisle to complain
about it. So congratulations, Indiana's back in the series. The
Knicks look banged up and they're going to head back
to MSG for Game five, so we got some Game

five was right, Bark was right, hmm about Ann Edwards. No,
he was like he hates the Knicks.
Speaker 4 (25:52):
Yeah, and look they're good, but I don't know that
they would be Boston or even Cleveland whoever wins that
signed the series in the Eastern Conference Finals.

They're just they're banged up.

No, I mean like it just I don't think they
have much of a chance. But it is fun to see.

like it to go seven games because I just want
to see that place in Game seven with an opportunity

to go to the Eastern Conference Finals with who know,
potentially a matchup against Porzengis in the Eastern Conference Finals.
I just hope that series goes seven games. And it
kind of bothered me that Indiana won Game three because
I was really hoping they weren't going to get rewarded
for their crying about the foul calls in games one
and two.

Outside of Boston in the East Boston do you feel
as if any other team can really compete with the
teams in the West. No, I feel like the West
looks feels that much better.
Speaker 1 (26:55):
Yeah, yeah, uh yeah, Yeah, it's Boston. It's Boston or
bus even though Cleveland, Cleveland, Cleveland shot and the Pacers
are you know, I don't know they got bigs. I
don't know you got some they got some skill. Definitely Boston.
Speaker 4 (27:21):
Though if I gave you odds for Boston, you would,
you know, three to one's let's say plus three hundred
or even money with ok C and then the two
in this series, Denver in Minnesota.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
It's gonna be hard. I don't so I would get
the Celtics at plus three hundred. Correct, I'll take I'll
take Boston. I mean they're a minus one thirty to
win it all right now.
Speaker 4 (27:54):
And the thing is, like, I don't feel very good
about them or their chances once they get there. I
just think they have any is your path to get
to the finals?
Speaker 1 (28:01):
Yeah, I don't disagree with that. I still think that
this is this is as good a year as it
is of any for Boston to win it. Oh, they
don't do it this year? Like I mean, I get it.
Prizingis is out. I get that they that has hurt them.
They they have dealt with injuries and injury concerns on

that side of it. But this is as good a time,
as good a year for them to win it all
as any.

You can't get over how well Derek White's played.

He's played well.

That comes from I don't think he's ever played to
this level in his career.

It was part of the reason why they were okay
letting go of Marcus Smart because it felt like Derek
White could do what Marcus Smart did and just make Smart.

They needed that because Tatum or Brown they will disappear them.

probably lack is they don't have somebody that's and that's

times he would try and will them back into games,
but they're they're disappearing act in games where they'll they'll.

Well, in case you missed his report, all right, he
reports that apparently the quarterback room in Chicago last year
was very toxic from uh, mostly coming from Justin Field's
point of view, saying that he and Andy Dalton and
Nick Foles were extremely toxic towards each other. He could
never be seen with the veterans who were brought in

to teach the young quarterback. There was several arguments among
the quarterbacks. Foles was trying to teach something to fields
in the quarterback room. At one point, Upon turning towards
the rookie, Foles realized Fields wasn't even paying attention. His
head was turned down. At that point, Foles was done
trying to mentor the young quarterback. The two could not
stand each other.

Interesting.

Yeah, well two things. That's why quarterback room dynamic is
so important slash unique. I mean, it's really the only
position that you only have one of. I mean, even
running backs, you're gonna share carries. But like every other
position group, there's chance of having two, maybe three out
there in the field together, maybe more. You know, that's
(36:41):
the only one that I saw you one guy, and
so it makes the dynamic of you know, if you can,
you know, kind of have your role, know your role.
But in the case of Justin Fields, he maybe felt
like he'd been in the league long enough where he
doesn't need a lot of that. Even though Foles has
won a Super Bowl, been around a long time, Dalton
had a ton of you know, successful years and runs,
(37:02):
and so you could see how that dynamic between a
young guy and an older guy can can go the
wrong direction. But I'll say this just from knowing Andy
and Nick, those are two of the nicest guys in
the world like you you can't, Like you'd be hard
you'd be hard pressed to find two nicer people and
guys who probably just want to help. Like I have
a hard time believe there's a lot of ill will.
(37:23):
You know, it seems like, you know, whatever was going on,
you know, maybe that was just a matter of justin
field just didn't see it the same way. Don't want
to listen to it.

Yeah, I just fine. I feel like gossip and rumors,
you know, you know it is what it is.
Speaker 2 (37:38):
Yeah, right as I get out of a quarterback room,
if it's a room and there's with that much detail,
like who's talking.

Not a good site for the Arena Football League. Teams
continue to old, including the UH the Philadelphia team, the
Iowa team, and the Georgia team, as well as Minnesota.
