Speaker 1 (00:03):
What would you talk about on your on your podcast
firm Elvin Morning Show. Hello, Hello lady. It's the fifteen
minute Morning Show podcast and special guests in studio today
Froggy and his son Cayden. Hi, Caden.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
How's it going.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
We're doing okay. He hasn't been on.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
It's weird.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
It's gonna get really weird.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
With a shirt that he had a ship off in
my house this morning was great.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
It was great. Let's explore that. Why was it great
that his young son has his shirt on it off
in your house. He's an adult. Now, wait, a bit
worse that statement. I just get a back out of
the space. It's just not as bad because he's not
a kid.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
Well, he had stained a shirt last night, so I
watched it. So he came up and he's like, hey man,
you got my shores.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
It stayed with Scotti Oil. Did I get the standard?

Speaker 4 (01:08):
So?

Speaker 1 (01:10):
Caten is living in New York on Long Island for
what three months?

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:14):
I'm here till August. Yeah, on a special work release program.
So that's really cool moving up here for three months.
I mean, are you excited about this? What? What are
you looking forward to?

Speaker 5 (01:28):
The most I would have to say, I mean, I
would the people seeing the city a little more. I
only been to New York three times other than now,
So other than that, probably.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
The golf side.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
The grass here is.

Speaker 5 (01:42):
Different as dumb as it sounds. So I'm excited to
play off that, playing some tournaments and really live the
New Yorker life. I'm excited.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Well, talk about the grass for just a moment. We're
not golfers. We don't understand it. I understand grass is grass,
but it's different between Florida and Long Island. So in
Florida we have grain.

Speaker 5 (02:02):
So when you get to the green where you start putting,
and even in the fairways, the grass will grow.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
A certain way if it's bermuda.

Speaker 5 (02:10):
So say I have a I have a putt and
it's going to break to my left, but the grain,
there's a dead spot on the cup that will show
that the grain is going to try and pull it
the other way. So here in up north it could
be I think it's from like Tennessee. All the way

(02:31):
up north, it's there's no grain. It's just really what
you see is what you get. So everybody says it's easier.
I've never played on it, so it should be interesting.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
I'm excited.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
Wow, we just learned something new about it today, grass facts.
Well look at that. Well, other than that, what about
New York City?

Speaker 5 (02:48):
Though?

Speaker 1 (02:48):
You want to spend more time in our little hamlet
called New York City?

Speaker 2 (02:55):
Because this is going to be a problem because Nate
and Scary are already making plants, taking places. Scary goes
to places where drinks cost seventy two dollars a drink. Well,
you know, he's a college kid and he doesn't have money.

Speaker 5 (03:06):
Yeah, you know.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
I told him, and Nate told him. We said we
would agree, we would chip in and the two of us.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
Okay, I have two rules. Number one is covered. I
said to Nate, you got to make sure he gets home.
Nate says, I'll make sure he gets back to her house.
That's the first thing he said, he gets somebody. Number two,
I said, okay, he can go out with you, but
Danielle has to go. And when Danielle goes home, Kate
goes home.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
No, no, no, no, no, that can't happen.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Technically, the other mothers right, you can go to Scotty. Scotty.

Speaker 5 (03:36):
Yeah, but Scott, I'm making sure Scotty's stand out as
late as Nate and Scary like like, I don't want
to leave at like ten thirty, when Danielle was like, oh,
I'm tired, I got to be up, okay, and goes
to sleep.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
You're worried about me?

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Leave it early.

Speaker 4 (03:49):
You got Nate over here. He goes to the early
bird special. He leaves it five. Scary's got no game whatsoever.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
I don't know what the hell Scotty, He's got.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
A good point. Scotty goes to bed early straight and
it goes to bed even earlier, and Scary is living
on a fucking fairy cloud.

Speaker 5 (04:10):
You know, you rally though, especially when you got somebody
that you can't wait to take out and show the roads.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
The fountain rally for you. You're gonna go bird watching.

Speaker 5 (04:22):
I told him we're gonna go bird watching.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
Look at the birds. There is nothing that I get
off more on than going to stop stop stop you
you're a band. From the rest of the podcast, another
there's another thing you guys need to remember. He is
not of age now. The new drinking law in New

(04:45):
York State is twenty five regular today.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
He's a young man.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
He can make his own decisions for himself. I think
these are good decisions. The fact that he's got two great,
willing guides that are going okay, the opposite side, the
opposite side, and Gandhi will probably agree with me on this.
You think it's wow, we're afraid he's gonna go out
with Scottie B and Scatty and and Straight eight. If
you're gonna go out, go out with some people that

(05:12):
really kind of bang it up. If these guys are boring,
if you're gonna go out and get crazy, don't go
out with them. They they're trying to make it look
like they're.

Speaker 4 (05:20):
Like anything, they're safe. I mean, you guys.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
Have no I.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
Yes we do.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Yes, we do.

Speaker 6 (05:31):
Nate's like a shot of tequila falling down the stairs.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
It makes a sound every time he stands up from
a chair.

Speaker 4 (05:40):
I will say there was one night.

Speaker 6 (05:41):
I mean, if you really try to party, I think
maybe Josh and I should take you out in about Yes,
I also.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
Think hard that was very hard.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
He's going to be on a three month with you.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
Josh in a way.

Speaker 6 (05:59):
Let me tell Josh, when Josh and I took Scotti out,
Scotty stayed out all night, what time do we come
home that night?

Speaker 1 (06:05):
It was two or three in the morning. That's never
happening again.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
They will, they will bend you. They will go roller skating,
then to I Hop and go to bed by.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
Not Yeah, he's never going anywhere.

Speaker 4 (06:20):
That night he had a good time.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
No, he had fun.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
I had a blast. You really did have a good time.
But I haven't been out like that since. That's the
thing you've got.

Speaker 4 (06:26):
Recovered still gandhy.

Speaker 6 (06:28):
But I think sometimes the best wing man is a
wing woman. I think a lot of times that that
that can help you out. And yeah, we got.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
And I think to be honest again, I think you
should eliminate every single person in this room and go
find some new friends when.

Speaker 4 (06:42):
You're younger, you're looking for you're already that is good.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
Good, Garrett. What do you think I want to know,
just in case you do get into a little trouble
here and you happen to be arrested, who on this
show are you calling first?

Speaker 5 (06:56):
Well, it's definitely not going to be the guy in
the blue hoodie across from me, to make that very clear, honestly, Well,
I would call Danielle and she would flip out of
me like wrong.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
So you're not calling daniel I'm probably calling Scotty.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
You in wrong answer. Elvis is your first call?

Speaker 1 (07:13):
Yeah, no, it's no, no, no, no, no, no, no, definitely help.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Now.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
Yeah, I have attorneys on call for me already. I
don't need to have a call for you. And I
would say Scotty b because you're gonna be on Long Island.
He will be close to Scotty.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
He's not going to fork over bail money.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
I will, but it's gonna be late. I'm not going
to wake up. I would call Scotty be. You may
have just sleep in the in the cell overnight, but
he'll be up in the morning.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
In the morning, said, it's New York.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
Hell, that's a good question though, that was that was
a very good question, Garrett. I mean who are you
going to call?

Speaker 2 (07:46):
I mean the truth is your best call is probably Danielle. Yeah,
that's probably your best ready to explain what you were doing.

Speaker 4 (07:53):
I will definitely come get you. Will you get a
you know, an.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
Earful Yes, that's she's calling your dad right away.

Speaker 4 (08:03):
He's not going to make it any time to Gedu
in freaking Florida.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
You're not crossing a bridge to come pick him off.

Speaker 4 (08:08):
On the line, would Are you kidding me?

Speaker 1 (08:10):
She would? I told you guys, she would come. I
would just call Scotty, just be on call for the
next three months. I'm sure I'm here.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
Look I I I told them, I said, look, I
will make sure that he's never alone, that he's always
taken care of. If he ever needs anything, I will
be there no matter what. Okay, he's in good all
you need to know.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
And his shirt is off. Yeah, well yeah, but don't
you hold on. Don't you want to go to the spots?
Don't He's got my number of text me. Let's you
told me that.

Speaker 5 (08:43):
Scary and Nate were like, we're going to go out
in Manhattan and I was like, yeah, that's what I'm
talking about.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
We know what he wants.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
You know what I'm saying. Where you want to go? Nate,
you've never been out one night in a hot spot
in Manhattan ever since. I Yes, I do, yes, I
do know whatever. No, I know exactly where you went
and you were kicked out because you were drunken trying
to picked up women to leave.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
Okay midnight. You've made bad decisions anyway, Okay, we don't
need to talk about that. Man.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
The thing is you know, we gotta go to this. No,
but we have to go to this. We have to
go to the starter bars. You gotta go to the
places where everyone's twenty one, twenty two in your age.

Speaker 2 (09:28):
He's gonna take advantage of this, Danielle. This is that
what's gonna play.

Speaker 5 (09:34):
I can't believe you're out with your your your dad.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
Say take Nate to it. We're gonna take Nate to
a college bar. I want to see how you're I
do okay.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
At the end of the day, it really boils down
to Elvis and Danielle. I am trusting the two of
you to keep him somewhat on the straight now and
keep these other people from like.

Speaker 5 (09:55):
Why not listen, I'm gonna keep my shirt on at
the bar, so we'll be just fine.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
If you were my daughter, that would be a peace
of mind, is listen. I don't care what you do
with your shirt.

Speaker 4 (10:03):
They beautiful game gets boring very quickly.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
You told me that, Yeah, it does.

Speaker 5 (10:08):
Like when I'm at school and we'll go out on
like a Saturday, and we get there at like nine
thirty so we can get a bar seat because it
it gets so busy you can't move in there, and
we would get to the point where it gets like
ten thirty eleven, and it does get boring.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
I mean it's scary worthy. All you can drink bars.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
Yeah, because that's what I'm using here.

Speaker 4 (10:26):
You're paying per drink twenty something books.

Speaker 2 (10:29):
It's not if he's going out with Scary.

Speaker 5 (10:30):
The problem with the all you can drink response is
they give you the bottom of the barrel liquor.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
And you know that's how school, that's how it's a school.

Speaker 2 (10:38):
So it's the same way I can't drink runing alcohol.

Speaker 1 (10:41):
And then AG's gonna take you out to some place
where they they're all doing the Charleston.

Speaker 4 (10:52):
Suits on Scary can take you down the shore.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
You might really like that, yeah, Or go out with
Nate and they'll have an orchestra.

Speaker 4 (11:06):
My favorite is Nate. They'll be like, we don't know
if you got no clue, Oh my god.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
Can you imagine him at a DJ's happy hour on
a Friday at the shore ship in Florida?

Speaker 2 (11:19):
He doesn't, it's bully stake him to the Hamptons. Is
that a good idea or a bad idea?

Speaker 4 (11:23):
If he's paying, are you paying?

Speaker 1 (11:25):
That's the opposite of the Jersey Shore. I don't I
personally don't think you would have a good time with
the Hampton crew.

Speaker 4 (11:31):
Four hours wonderful, but he's got that in Florida. It's
the same.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
But he would still like to go as an experience Monday,
if you would.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
Do Long Island. Maybe if you go out to mon Talk,
that could be a little Yeah, Elvis is onto it.
He knows. Elvis, can you come. No, I don't have.

Speaker 4 (11:46):
A Long Island I don't go on the side of
the world.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
You know what.

Speaker 2 (11:49):
You know.

Speaker 3 (11:49):
I've lived in my house on Long Island for seventeen years.
Elvis has never come once.

Speaker 1 (11:53):
I don't go there. There's no reason to go to
Long Island unless you have to go. I mean, I
love Long Island. You know, I had a home there
for many years. I'm not saying it's just traffic is abysmal.

Speaker 4 (12:04):
It's awful, especially in the summer time.

Speaker 5 (12:06):
Coming up saying on like a beach day on Saturday.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
I'll tell you what. Let's go around the room and
each give Caden some advice for his summer months all
on island. We'll start with you, Danielle. What's your advice?

Speaker 4 (12:18):
Okay, I want you to have fun. I want you
to explore things that you've never explored before and see good.
You love New York and you get so excited to
be here, so I think it's all good. But I
want you to make good decisions, smart decisions, decisions that
your mom and dad would be proud of.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
I prove that advice, and I'm here if you made me.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
Thank you, Scotty mean, what's your advice for Cadence summer?

Speaker 3 (12:42):
My advice would be to take the train if you're
going into the city or whatever. Take the train, don't
take the church can take you forever, and it's gonna
be expensive to take the train.

Speaker 2 (12:50):
And don't listen to Scary because he doesn't take public transportation.

Speaker 1 (12:53):
I'm scary. What's your advice for you? My advice is
you need to see a little bit of every one
of these places. You need to make a Jersey shore stop.
You need to go somewhere in the Hampton's or mom
talk or something. You need to have a city night.
They're all different atmospheres, and they're all different types of people,
and you people is what you want to meet? Different
types of people? Nate, what is your good minds? The

(13:19):
opposite of Danielle, make some bad decisions. I mean I'm
not talking like killing somebody, but do something where you're like, no,
it should be there, all right.

Speaker 2 (13:28):
This sounds like the advice he got from Matt Ramsey,
who's the lead singer of Old Dominion. We said there's
moderate you should do things in moderation. He goes, no
moderation and moderation sometimes you got to blow that ship
out right?

Speaker 1 (13:40):
Very goody. What about you, Garrett? Your advice for Sheldon
just say just God, just say yes, say just say yes,
just say yes.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
No. He is young.

Speaker 6 (13:52):
Advice I would combine Nate and Garrett's and say, this
is the time to have.

Speaker 2 (13:58):
A lot of fun.

Speaker 6 (13:59):
Yes, every because I feel like in life it's better
to regret the things you did rather than regret the
things you never did. And you're here for a summer.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
Enjoy your advice.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
Okay, my advice is actually in line with Gandhi's. But
you need to be surrounded by people that you trust
will be there to take care of you. That's that's
very important. Do not venture out on your own ever,
that makes always be their friends. And then but from dad, yes,
kateen advice from your dad for this, You'll give you.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
The same advice I've given you since you were in kindergarten.
Before you do something, ask yourself, would I do this
if my dad was standing next to me.

Speaker 1 (14:35):
Okay, so here's my question, count boy.

Speaker 5 (14:40):
Yes, I took two gap years to go to school, right,
And when I did go to school, the biggest thing
was to make sure you make good decisions for the
people you hang out with. Yes, I've never gotten in trouble. Correct,
my grades are good. Yes, I played great golf and
still made that a priority.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
Correct. You made really good friends five.

Speaker 5 (14:56):
Hours from and you saw the friends that came by.

Speaker 2 (14:58):
Oh, they're really good. Guys like him a lot, well
except for you. No, no, no, no, there's nothing. He could
be a little sketchy clayon.

Speaker 1 (15:07):
Definitely, so everybody. So what's your point?

Speaker 5 (15:10):
But my point is is like me moving somewhere else
after moving five hours from home, after living there for
twenty years, I think I proved myself that I can
make good decision.

Speaker 2 (15:19):
You did, But New York City and Naples Fort Myers,
Florida are too totally.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
But he's still in college town. Don't you know what
bad decisions make great stories? Yes? And there you go,
and here we go, A summer of Kaiden. We got
to get out of here, a happy trails in the
fifteen minute Morning Show
