Sheer terror arrived in a suburban Pennsylvania town on March 12, 1976. For the Abt family, it started out like any other weekday. Margaret and John Abt went to their respective jobs while the children attended school. The family never could’ve predicted it would be their last morning together. Six members of the Abt family were found dead at their home in Trevose, Pennsylvania. Detectives soon zeroed in on a suspect and discovered he was not unfamiliar to the Abt family.
