It's an event in South Carolina, and he actually moved
to Charleston to play basketball for the College of Charleston.
He fell in love with the city and then he
stayed in the area worked in the baking industry, and
then he created a Black Food Truck Festival in twenty
twenty two. It bought out five thousand guests wow. During
its first year. Everything from soulfu, seafood staples out there

(01:57):
and it was super popular. So he left his job
to focus on the event full time. And so this year,
over fifteen thousand people are estimated to come out and
go to the Park Exchange Park Fairgrounds, and so shout
out to him for them that's a dope idea he did.

Speaker 4 (02:13):
He say it's like a food festival, but with food trucks.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
He fed five thousand, No, five.

Speaker 5 (02:17):
Thousand guests showed up. It's different. It's a food truck
a black food truck festival. So it's all different food
trucks and people get to come out and sample different
foods from all these.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
Say fish five thousand, that's Jesus level man.

Speaker 5 (02:28):
So now they have different additions to the festival like
rhythms and booze. They have a workout the melanin Times
Black Food Truck Festival am workout that they have a
Trappioki after party and all of those things.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
That sounds like fun.

Speaker 5 (02:41):
I love a good food festival, and this also helps
highlight all of the black food trucks in the area.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
Let's get something to eat after this, all right, Well, shout.

Speaker 7 (02:55):
Oh my fiance. His name is Godaf Perry.

Speaker 4 (02:58):

Well that was shine a light eight hundred and two
ninety two fifty fifty. And when we come back, we
have your yet and let's talk about Gez versus Jennie Mai.

Speaker 4 (03:57):
The allegations.

Speaker 5 (03:59):
Uh, there's all kinds of records will tell you what
Gez sing plus what Genie Mi sing is way.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Up the rooms from industry shade to all the gossip,
Angelas spieling.

Speaker 5 (04:10):
That it's way up bym angela yea and beat out
his heart. I'm all right, let's get into this et.
So post Malone has another Diamond single that means ten
million total equivalent units in just the United States. That
is his ninth Diamond song, the song Wow. So now

(04:30):
he's the artist of the most Diamond certified songs ever
White iverson Cycle Rockstar. The closest person to him actually
has six, and that would be Bruno Mars.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
The white rapper to white rock star pivot is fascinating
because you have like k Rock, Post Malone, Machine Gun,
Cally Jelly Roll. They start off as rappers and they
pivot into like other genres.

Speaker 4 (04:52):
The genres.

Speaker 5 (04:52):
Well, speaking of Eminem, he has announced his new album,
The Death of Slim Shady, and he actually put out
a trailer for this and here's what it sounds like
through his complex.

Speaker 6 (05:04):
And off criticized tongue twisting rhymes.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
The blonde anti hero known as.

Speaker 6 (05:09):
Has had no shortage of enemies. So I'm frightening.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
He's a psychopath.

Speaker 6 (05:15):
The same rude lyrics and controversial antics may have ultimately
led to his demid so who killed Swim Shoot joined
me as we recreate the events that led to the
murder of Slim Shady.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
Okay, I don't want Slim Shady to die.

Speaker 5 (05:28):
You hear fifty saying he's a psychopath too, and that
fifty call on somebody a psychopath means he's really a psychopath.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
That first album from Eminem is amazing, man, it's one
of my favorites.

Speaker 5 (05:37):
All right, well, get ready for that this summer, and
metro Booman says, somebody please tell Eminem I'm trying to
lock in.

Speaker 4 (05:44):
Please please, I'm sure he can make that happen.

Speaker 5 (05:47):
And he also got his sixth music video with over
one billion views on YouTube.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
Wow, it's a lot of AdSense money.

Speaker 5 (05:54):
Okay, I'm not mad at it. Listen, get your money, yes,
every way you can. GZ and g My I cannot
believe that their breakup has spiraled the way that it has.
And so now there are some court documents that were
filed and the Jasmine brand actually got the exclusive for
all of this. But Genie Mai is accusing him of

(06:16):
domestic violence. Well, She's stating that he abused her four
different times, including choking her and pushing her downstairs at
the Rich Carlton in San Francisco. This was in April
twenty twenty two, and that he also punched her in
the face weeks after she gave birth.

Speaker 3 (06:30):
WHOA, I've known Jeezy to be a trapper, not a scrap.

Speaker 4 (06:32):
Of well, you know.

Speaker 5 (06:34):
She claims that he subjected her to physical abuse and
their child to neglect during an event in December twenty
twenty two, and that he took to her and called
her F and B and claimed that he couldn't wait
to divorce her. She also claims that he had a
drinking problem and his violence would escalate when he was drunk,
and that he once left their daughter alone with an
AK forty seven and a Louis Vuitton bag, and that

(06:54):
he would also subject his eldest son to the same
type of abuse. Now Jeezy has responded to these allegations.
He also put out some text messages showing that there
was a golf cart incident, that she got some bruises
from Okay, and then he also said that the allegations
are not only false but also deeply disturbing, especially coming
from someone I loved. This malicious attempt to tarnish my

(07:18):
character and disrupt my family is ridiculous. It's disheartening to
witness the manipulation and deceit at play. And at this time,
my main concern is being an active father to our
daughter as I continue to fight for court mandated joint custody.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
Damn this this messy, man.

Speaker 4 (07:32):
Yeah, it is super messy.

Speaker 5 (07:34):
And all I can hope for is that they somehow
work through things so that their daughter together, Monico, can
have both of her parents in their life, and that
they can figure out how to co parent, you know, productively,
because that's a space that they're going to have to
get to in some way, shape or form.

Speaker 6 (07:50):
You know.

Speaker 5 (07:50):
Originally he had wanted soul custody, and then he filed
for joint custody. He's saying that it's been difficult because
he's blocked, so he hasn't even been able to speak
to his daughter on Facebook time. But Jeannie Mine has
her own allegations as well, so we'll see how this
all plays out.

Speaker 4 (08:05):
That is your yet.

Speaker 5 (08:06):
When we come back, we have about last night, that's
where we discussed what we did last night. I just
got back from LA last night, and we'll talk about that. Oh,
it's way up.

Speaker 6 (08:16):
So about last night, Yes, I went down.

Speaker 4 (08:22):
Beat, I got money.

Speaker 5 (08:23):
Look at his kids in New York Yankee sweater? Is
that an alligator? It's about last night this way up?

Speaker 4 (08:29):
Yeah, what is that? That's amazing?

Speaker 5 (08:32):
Okay, anyway, this time for about last night, that's where
we discussed what we did.

Speaker 4 (08:36):
I just got back from LA.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (08:38):
I'm working on a docu series.

Speaker 5 (08:40):
I'm not supposed to see what it is yet, but
with Pete Frank Williams, it's going to be for two
b And when I tell you, I was in and
out of LA, but that long play and that time
difference and then I had to work all day and
stand on my feet and you know, but I think
it's going to be very impactful.

Speaker 3 (08:56):
Did you have a good seat coming back to New York?

Speaker 4 (08:58):
I was in Delta one rests you get to lay down.
But I'm gonna say this.

Speaker 5 (09:02):
On the way back, I was at Lax Delta one
is now downstairs. They like did a whole new space
for it. Oh you know about this, I've heard, I'm
familiar with it. Why did when I walked up. The
woman acted like I wasn't supposed to be there.

Speaker 1 (09:17):
I was.

Speaker 5 (09:18):
I was a little offended and I wanted to say something.
So I walk up and I'm like, okay, good. She's like,
I need to see your boarding pass. I pull it
out and she's looking at it and she's like, why
is this blue in the background?

Speaker 4 (09:28):
This is weird. I don't know. Give me a second.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
And I'm like what, wow?

Speaker 4 (09:33):
She really and she let everybody else walk in and
she was like, give me a second.

Speaker 5 (09:37):
And I was definitely the only black person and she
was a non black person, and so then I walked
in and everything was fine.

Speaker 4 (09:43):
The woman was like, oh, thank you. I'm a million miler, just.

Speaker 5 (09:45):
To put that out there, because I fly a lot,
you know, I work a lot.

Speaker 4 (09:49):
And so I went through.

Speaker 5 (09:50):
But I felt weird about that, Like, how dare you
act like I'm not supposed to be here, but every
white person is walking through, no problem, but you don't
like the fact that I have a blue background.

Speaker 4 (09:58):
I showed you my boarding pa wow.

Speaker 3 (10:01):
But yeah, racially profiled on a delta flight.

Speaker 5 (10:03):
I tell you what else I did. I laid down
and watch him. So you ever see why women kill
it's a series.

Speaker 3 (10:08):
No, I haven't heard about it.

Speaker 4 (10:09):
I actually enjoyed it.

Speaker 3 (10:10):
Okay, you didn't like an idea?

Speaker 4 (10:12):
It doesn't like it, my producer, what's the problem.

Speaker 3 (10:15):
My issue with it is that my fiance likes all
the like that crazy content.

Speaker 4 (10:20):
So for me, it's just like I enjoyed it.

Speaker 5 (10:22):
I gotta finish it because you know sometimes on the
flight they only show you some Now, what did you
do last night?

Speaker 3 (10:27):
I went to a rap show. I went to go
see Benny the Butcher at Iran Plaza.

Speaker 6 (10:30):
Yes, I saw.

Speaker 4 (10:31):
It was a sold out show.

Speaker 3 (10:32):
It was sold out. Man, it was packed. It smelled
like blunts and baggy jeans.

Speaker 4 (10:37):
So you fit right in.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
Yeah, I was right right in the middle.

Speaker 4 (10:39):
Of its be a little tight, you grown, yes.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
But it was a good time and shout out to
Benny Butcher brought out his new artists from the BSF Crew,
Flames Dot League, El Camino.

Speaker 3 (10:50):
So it was a good time.

Speaker 4 (10:51):
You've been out and about. You went to Skill of Babies?

Speaker 1 (10:53):
Okay, I went to Skill a baby. He had an
album released party. It was actually a listening party and
that was cool. So some of your lip service co host.

Speaker 5 (11:01):
The Yeah, he's gonna be on lip service on Tuesday. Well,
that is about last night. And when we come back,
tell us a secret. Eight hundred two ninety two fifty
one fifty is a number.

Speaker 4 (11:09):
This is a time.

Speaker 5 (11:10):
You ready for this beat up. When people call in
and we don't judge them, they remain anonymous. They tell
us a secret.

Speaker 4 (11:16):
It's Friday.

Speaker 5 (11:16):
Usually on Friday's the secrets get the craziest. Oh boy,
but that's okay. We done heard it all, seen it all.
You've done it all. Eight hundred two ninety two fifty
one fifty. Call us up and tell us a secret.

Speaker 6 (11:35):

maybe a little bit, although people on Instagram may and
can't help that. And on YouTube we're up with ye.
But again, you get to stay anonymous, so it doesn't
even matter. Maybe people will recognize your voice, but you know,
maybe you don't care. Eight hundred two ninety two fifty
one fifty anonymous call it tell us your secret, all right?

Speaker 8 (11:57):
My secret is so let me just shout out that
I am a bird and I don't care what the
cap would be, but I am in love with a.

But no way, hold on, So you're in love with
a married man. Yeah, you knew he was married?

Speaker 8 (12:18):
Yes, what I ain't think that I was going full
for him because my thing is this menadem he go
for two things and money, that's me.

Speaker 4 (12:27):
But for some reason he got me.

Speaker 7 (12:30):
And now I'm just caught up and it's his birthday.
I'm just going to give him a shoutout.

Speaker 4 (12:35):
Is he an older man, Yes he is, but you
would not think that because the way he works. Oh
oh wow. So what's his situation with his wife? Is
he still in love with her?

Speaker 9 (12:44):
Is he like?

Speaker 4 (12:45):
What's going on with that?

Speaker 7 (12:46):
He seems to remember her every time he gets none
at me.

Speaker 8 (12:49):
But then you know, I put that tenderoni on him
and then he remembers I get him bed focused?

Speaker 4 (12:55):
Does his wife know about you?

Speaker 6 (12:56):
No?

Speaker 7 (12:57):
Wow?

Speaker 5 (12:58):
Do you do you feel bad? Are you hoping that
he's gonna leave her? What are you trying to think?

Speaker 4 (13:02):
Is gonna have every chance?

Speaker 7 (13:04):
I get I sure, you see, I'm not a liar
with my I hope that well, I hope they get it.
There was that we can get married the next day,
because that is good.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
So what is what are you gonna do for his
birthday today?

Speaker 6 (13:16):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (13:17):
We're gonna have a three somes.

Speaker 7 (13:18):
You know, I gotta keep it interesting, I gotta keep it.

Speaker 4 (13:21):
I gotta do all the things like we weren't do.
Do you like three sims? Are you only doing that
to try to keep them around?

Speaker 5 (13:27):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (13:27):
Please?

Speaker 4 (13:28):
Like I said, I was using men for bleeping money.
So you know, I love me a girl, but the
more to marry up.

Speaker 8 (13:33):
See, I'm open minded, so I don't care.

Speaker 4 (13:36):
Wow, does he try to get his wife to have
three sames?

Speaker 7 (13:38):
But you he did mention a state that he would
want that. Well, when I seen the princess, she was
good as hell. I was with it. But you know
he's probably taking it though.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
Wow, how much older are you guys apart?

Speaker 7 (13:50):
I'm pretty two and he's fifty thick, but he looks
like he's twenty three. Yes, that's rough sad. When he
put it on me, I was like, oh wow, what.

Speaker 4 (14:01):
Does he sleep with other women?

Speaker 5 (14:02):
Or is it just you?

Speaker 4 (14:04):
I am not even worried about that because the way
he put it on me.

Speaker 1 (14:07):
Listen, I don't even know.

Speaker 4 (14:09):
He must know. What does he do when you say
put it on me?

Speaker 5 (14:12):
Like?

Speaker 6 (14:12):
What what is that?

Speaker 9 (14:13):
In? Ten?

Speaker 7 (14:16):
Amazing real experience? You know?

Speaker 4 (14:21):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (14:22):
All right, Angela wants for herself.

Speaker 4 (14:24):
No I don't. Yeah, I'm okay over here. All right, Well,
thank you. I feel like she don't even want to
be anonymous, but thank you for calling. Okay, See, it's no.

Speaker 3 (14:39):
Judgment beat that we should play Jeremi birthday sex.

Speaker 5 (14:42):
We should play honey Baby. I'm fink him too. She'll
be on the show later today whatever. Co first, that's
what she said. All right, Well that was tell us
a secret eight hundred nine fifty one fifty in case
you couldn't get through. And when we come back, we
have your yet, and let's talk about Amanda Sales and
Shannon Sharp. The Shay Shay Interview will tell you what
happened during it and the aftermath. When it was done,

(15:04):
It's way up the.

Speaker 2 (15:05):
Shoot, let's get it. Angela's building that ye te come
and get your tea, all right?

Speaker 5 (15:12):
His way up, am Angela, yee and beat out his ear. Yes,
Happy Friday. Well let's get into some yet.

Speaker 4 (15:20):
And this is a lot right here.

Speaker 5 (15:21):
But Amanda Seals was on Club Shay Shay and their
sit down went viral again again.

Speaker 4 (15:29):
Yes, people really go on there and spill their guts.

Speaker 5 (15:33):
And so Amanda Steels has a lot of had a
lot of things to say, and you know, a lot lately,
she's been talking about how she feels that she's been
ostracized from a lot of events, a lot of Black
Events Awards. She was talking about Essence canceling her interview
with the CEO, and so in this interview she talked

(15:55):
about Insecure and the issues that she had on that show.
And this is something that's been documented. This also had
Ester Ray trending as well as Amanda. And here's what
she had to say about feeling like she was not
protected by Isa Ray.

Speaker 4 (16:06):
And so I've always protected Lisa.

Speaker 8 (16:08):
However, there's just been enough instances at this point where
I should have been protected by Issa, and I wasn't.
And now it's at a point where my protecting of
Issa has become turned on to me and something that
people are using against me. They keep saying, you know
that I'm this mean girl on this set. I just
want to point out something very basic. How can I
be a mean girl on a set that ain't my set?

Speaker 4 (16:29):
All right?

Speaker 5 (16:29):
So there was an instance, and this was something that
went viral where she was attending an event that Isa
Ray's publicist was doing okay, and she was asked to leave.
She first was told she was on on the list.
Then she got inside and the security came and made
her leave, and that was a terrible experience for her.

Speaker 3 (16:46):
She tried to crash the party.

Speaker 4 (16:48):
Yeah, pretty much. I mean, you know, she would listen.

Speaker 5 (16:51):
They don't get along her in Issa's publicist, and she
felt like Issa should have kind of figured out that
situation so she would feel.

Speaker 4 (16:59):
Safe on the set.

Speaker 5 (17:00):
Well, everything was going on, and I will say to
the point of Ray, because I saw people in the
comment saying Rays amazing. I'm not gonna hate on Aray,
but I saw the flip side. There are people who
definitely can treat a lot of other people well, but
not be good to you. And you can have a
bad experience with somebody who other people really like. So
I've personally, I think we all have personally had that experience.

Speaker 3 (17:22):
What happened to the Black girl? Magic sounds like voodoo?

Speaker 6 (17:25):
Right now?

Speaker 4 (17:25):
Okay, beat us?

Speaker 3 (17:26):
Sorry now.

Speaker 5 (17:27):
Another thing Amanda Sales talked about was her autism spectrum
disordered diagnosis.

Speaker 4 (17:32):
And here's what she had to say.

Speaker 8 (17:33):
If my father had lived with me, I would never
have been the person I am now because he wouldn't
have He wouldn't have been able to handle it. And
I believe that he is autistic too. He's a brilliant No,
because he's brilliant.

Speaker 9 (17:43):
But you can be brilliant without being autistic though, right,
Oh yeah, but just because I'm both.

Speaker 4 (17:48):
But he gifted and autistic, all right.

Speaker 5 (17:51):
But then afterwards she did say on her own life
that she was never diagnosed by a doctor with autism.

Speaker 4 (17:58):
Here's what she said.

Speaker 8 (18:00):
No, I have not been clinically diagnosed by a doctor
because I'm not paying ten thousand dollars to do that.
And most people will tell you that at this age
you don't need a clinical diagnosis in that sense.

Speaker 5 (18:11):
All right, And then she went on Instagram and said, uh, Shannon,
but have you been clinically diagnosed me? Yes, there is
a clinical diagnosis for autism. He then hung his head
and exiled in frustration because I did not answer his question.
This is called deflection. Why, because I was not going
to be pressured by this man who is interrogating me
with absolutely zero love for me, into proving something to
him that by his line of questioning, he had already

(18:32):
committed to undermining. I understand my response may be confusing
to some, but I am clarifying it as I did
in my life, and that is enough. Wow, all right now.
She also detailed racist encounters that she had growing up.

Speaker 4 (18:44):
Here's what she said.

Speaker 8 (18:45):
And I was in the situation at Disney. I was
there as the only black girl, and so I was
called an N word. I was also bullied while I
was there because I was told that you're only here
because you're black. So that's what I'm being told by
the other children. Does that suffice as racist to you
or would you want to call it something else?

Speaker 6 (19:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 9 (19:00):
The kids, Now we talked in children not functioning adults. Now,
if you told me the adults parents were telling you this,
or the execs or people that are in charge of
Disney are telling you this. I could agree with it.

Speaker 3 (19:11):
Wow, Okay, Minny and Mickey are half black and white,
so are they?

Speaker 4 (19:17):
Oh my gosh, I get out of here.

Speaker 5 (19:19):
But a lot of people criticized Shannon Sharp for trying
to invalidate her experiences with racism when she was growing up.
I've been told I only got into college because I
was black by some white students the college that I
got into.

Speaker 4 (19:30):
So I can understand her frustration with that.

Speaker 5 (19:33):
And here's what Shannon Sharp had to say while he
was speaking with OsO Sinco and Gilbert Aarenus.

Speaker 9 (19:37):
I think sometimes, you know, she thinks everybody's out together,
and I do believe some of the people have done
her wrong, because that's what you deal with.

Speaker 5 (19:45):
We all go through it all right, well a lot
more to it, but that is your ut. And when
we come back, we have under the radar and make
sure you watch the full interview so you can get
all the context. And let's talk it about a billionaire.
He faked his own death so that he could be
with his lover. And it worked for a little while
until it didn't. It's way up news.

Speaker 2 (20:03):
This in the news that relates to you. These stories
are flying under the radar.

Speaker 5 (20:08):
All right, his way up by angela ye beat out
his hair, well beat yes, I am, And let's get
into this under the radar story. This is crazy. A
billionaire Carl Aravin. How he's a German US dual citizen.
He was fifty eight at this time. He faced his
own death so that he could be with his Russian
lover in Moscow. According to reports, he was also the
former managing director of a German retail giant called Tangleman Group.

Speaker 4 (20:32):
The last time they saw him he was on a
mountain lift.

Speaker 5 (20:35):
That was in twenty eighteen, and then he was reported
missing the following morning because he did not return to
his hotel in the Swiss resort. A search for him
was officially called off later that year, and three years
later he was formally declared dead by the district court
where he lived, and the evidence to have him officially
declared dead was submitted by his wife, his brothers, and
his company, and then his younger brother was named the

(20:57):
sole CEO of the company after he vanished, and he
also swore that he had no information that his missing
sibling could still be alive. Now his younger brother, Christian,
is also being investigated by the State Prosecutor's office, saying
that he could have allegedly given some false statements.

Speaker 4 (21:12):
But they did find that he was living with his mistress.

Speaker 3 (21:17):
We got to see a picture of this chick man.

Speaker 5 (21:19):
She the one that made him give up everything and
pretend to be dead. He's bonaire the fact that he
is still alive. There were some photos that appeared to
show him in Moscow, and they said these photos were
also available to his brother Christian at the time when
he gave that Swarren statement. But they did find that
he was alive, and they have indications that he could

(21:40):
have caused his disappearance intentionally, and that at least parts
of his family were aware of it and against their
better judgment, kept this secret from the court and from
the public.

Speaker 6 (21:49):
Wow.

Speaker 5 (21:50):
Yes, a younger Russian woman is who he allegedly has
been living with, and she works for an event management company.

Speaker 3 (21:56):
You gotta find him and get them on lip service.

Speaker 5 (21:58):
Can you imagine being so in love with somebody that
you leave everything behind, pretend to be dead, fake your
own death.

Speaker 4 (22:05):
It actually works. Wow, for some years, until they see
pictures of you.

Speaker 3 (22:10):
You've blew up the spot for some selfies.

Speaker 4 (22:12):
Well he could be in a lot of trouble right now.

Speaker 5 (22:14):
So and who knows about life insurance too, because his
family probably got his life insurance and now you got
to pay that money back, right all right, Well that
is your under the radar. I mean, there's an over
the radar story everybody's talking about. Is TikTok and Bite Dance.
The owner of TikTok would rather shut down that app
than sell it because according to law passed by Joe Biden,

(22:35):
they would have to sell TikTok for it to be
accessible here in the United States. And they said, we
aren't going anywhere. No, I'm buying furniture from my house.
I don't have any money to buy TikTok unless they're
selling it for like five hundred books. All right, Well,
that is your under the radar. And when we come back,
we have the Way It Mix at the top of
the hour, plus we have a special guest.

Speaker 4 (22:54):
Honeybaby is going to be joining us.

Speaker 5 (22:55):
Her album Three Words Eight Letters Deluxe is available now.

Speaker 4 (23:00):
It's way up way.

Speaker 8 (23:02):
She's like the talk like they Angela Jean, like they
angela Gee Man.

Speaker 6 (23:06):
She's spilling it all. This is yeaky, way up.

Speaker 4 (23:11):
All right. It's way up with Angela yea, I'm angela yea.
And beat out is here well it beat out I
am here all right.

Speaker 5 (23:17):
Well, Drake's tailor made freestyle discs to Kendrick Lamar has
been pulled, and that is after tintoksa State threatened legal action.
This has ai vocals from both Tupac and Snoop Dogg.
And here's what that sounded like.

Speaker 6 (23:30):
Did you we met ya in West.

Speaker 2 (23:32):
Coast, say Grady, and name the sapop hit and the
deal with this basics. You seem a little nervous about
all the public city theatre knights getting got you.

Speaker 6 (23:42):
We didn't know the baby the West Coast.

Speaker 4 (23:44):
We man to me all right.

Speaker 5 (23:47):
There was a seasons that was issued earlier this week
and Pak's estate said, the estate is deeply dismayed and
disappointed by your unauthorized use of tupacs voice and personality.
Not only is the record of flagrant violation of Tupac's
publicity in this taste legal rights, it is also a
blatant abuse of the legacy of one of the greatest
hip hop artists of all time.

Speaker 3 (24:04):
Drake never said it was Tupac or Snoop Dogg.

Speaker 5 (24:07):
I know, but a label could say the same thing
in that case, or you know, anybody could put out
a song that sounds like someone's voice and likeness and
then say I never said it was him.

Speaker 3 (24:16):
Oh, people do sound like each other sometimes, So we'll
see how this one plays out.

Speaker 5 (24:21):
All right, But Drake has not commented on the season desist,
but he did remove that song, so we shall see
bootlegged what voice was that?

Speaker 4 (24:32):
All right?

Speaker 6 (24:32):
Now?

Speaker 4 (24:33):
Neo?

Speaker 5 (24:35):
He has two kids with this woman shout at Vanna
Rees and she was on live showing him, and she
basically was calling him a baby diddy talking about the
freak coughs that he's been having allegedly.

Speaker 4 (24:47):
Here's what she had to say.

Speaker 3 (24:48):
Did he Junior, tell him about the freak off? He
called the police?

Speaker 7 (24:51):
Shaw, you know what you did?

Speaker 3 (24:53):
Your body's slay on the floor.

Speaker 6 (24:54):
Tell him the real you?

Speaker 4 (24:55):
What did I ask of you? All of that is irrelevant, Okay?

Speaker 3 (25:01):
So you calling the bullies.

Speaker 8 (25:02):
overWe overwel because he wants over the house while his
kids is here.

Speaker 3 (25:07):
I wonder if people feel embarrassed after they posted.

Speaker 5 (25:09):
Well, she did apologize. She went on social media and
said some drinking my boba T.

Speaker 3 (25:15):
I've never had boba T neither.

Speaker 5 (25:17):
It's good, all right, Dan says, it's good. I'm talking
to my dad on the phone self reflecting it. I'd
like to apologize for putting you all in our business.
Emotions for heightened and I want the best him to
show up. But I understand you can't make people feel you.
I have a good faith everything will come together. Full
Moon was out cycle on postpartum, but with frustration and
a lot of underlining issues that we need to be addressed.

(25:37):
Trying to do that with the problem present made heightened emotions.
I'm human, I heard too, and I want the best
for everyone. That's all I was fussing for, and nothing more.
Some understanding.

Speaker 3 (25:45):
She blamed the eclipse. Once they start blaming the planets,
you know something wrong with us?

Speaker 4 (25:49):
Well she did say postpartum. Ok, that's a real thing.

Speaker 3 (25:52):
That is a real thing.

Speaker 5 (25:53):
So yeah, no, all right, Well that is your eet
and you know it's a new music Friday. Yes, we
can't play with that. So there's some new music that
we're going to talk about that is out today.

Speaker 4 (26:03):
Beat out. I know you have a lot of.

Speaker 5 (26:04):
Strong feelings, strong opinions, strong opinions. Let's get into some
new music Friday when we come back.

Speaker 4 (26:10):
It's way up.

Speaker 5 (26:10):
And in the meantime, let's flash it back to future
with this classic mask off its way up, whether it's.

Speaker 2 (26:16):
Relationship with career advice, Angela's dropping facts.

Speaker 5 (26:19):
Should this is what's up his way up at Angela Yee,
I'm Angela ye, and my guy beat Out is here
with mister Dad. I'm here and it's time to ask
ye eight hundred ninety two fifty one fifty any question
you have.

Speaker 4 (26:31):
We're here to help you out. We got Coco on
the line. Hey, Andrew, Hey, I'm here beat Out here
to give you some advice.

Speaker 7 (26:38):
So we're a new upcoming podcast from Nemnestheu. We're called
Today and Tomorrow. So we're trying to build I bring
we have a sponsor, okay in the town still next week.
So I just host some advice on what we should
do and what we should aim. So who is we?

Speaker 5 (26:58):
Me?

Speaker 7 (26:59):
My boy, my brother Sheldy, and my brother joke.

Speaker 4 (27:03):
All right, and what's it about.

Speaker 10 (27:06):
We're just gonna be basically about distant topics about today's news.

Speaker 5 (27:11):
First and foremost, y'all need to come up with a
one line about what this podcast is about, so that
you guys are focused, so that you understand what's the
name of the podcast.

Speaker 7 (27:19):
Today and tomorrow?

Speaker 5 (27:21):
Okay, today and tomorrow, and what makes your podcast unique
for people who want to know.

Speaker 4 (27:25):
Okay, why should I be tuning in just about Nasville News?

Speaker 7 (27:30):
Because Narrigeville we are growing city news. We're going faster
and fastest. So we're just trying to put Nashville on
the map.

Speaker 1 (27:38):
You know, Being that you guys are from Nashville, you
guys could be all things Nashville. For a guy that's
like me from New York, right, I could just focus
so on so so many things locally that you know,
everyone else globally will understand where you guys are coming from.

Speaker 4 (27:49):
I just want to say a few things.

Speaker 5 (27:51):
Number One, be patient with yourselves because what you started
off as isn't what it's going to end up being.
So allow the podcast to be able to evolve, right,
so that you guys are open to in conversations about
what you think works, what doesn't work, because that's always
going to happen. There's going to be things that you
start off with that doesn't work. Things that you feel
like you need to add. I think it would be
great for you guys to have an outline so you

(28:12):
know what you're talking about for each episode. You need
to figure out what day is it coming out, how
long is it going to be. You need to be consistent.
I think segments are really helpful so people know what
they're going to be looking for when they come to
your podcast. People will have a favorite segment that they
want to make sure that they tune in for. You
also should figure out, because it's four people on this podcast,
what each person's role is going to be, and make

(28:33):
sure that you sit down and figure out, Okay, I'm
going to be the person that is navigating the show
that introduces a topic. Okay, well I'm going to be
the person that's always playing the devil's advocate. Well, so
you guys have specific roles that people know what to
expect from you when they're listening to the show.

Speaker 3 (28:50):
Wow, Angel, who should he send an invoice to?

Speaker 4 (28:55):
Why?

Speaker 3 (28:59):
Yes, sir said.

Speaker 5 (29:00):
Lastly, and make sure your sound is right, because there's
nothing worse than when you're listening to somebody's podcast and
the sound is so bad you can't even listen to it,
so you got to be everything, yeah, because I would
to write out if I'm like, oh, I can't listen
to this. It sounds awful. This person's low, this person's
you know, really loud. It don't sound good. It sounds

(29:22):
like they in a bathroom. You know, all of those
things do matter? Right, Thank you guys, all right, no problem,
good luck, thank you, all right, all right, beat I
get your publishing.

Speaker 3 (29:32):
It didn't make your co host after that consultation.

Speaker 5 (29:35):
All right, Well that was asking y eight hundred two
nine two fifty one fifty. Hopefully for anybody who's trying
to do the same thing. That's some good information. And
when we come back, we have Honey Baby joining us.
She's from Jersey. She has her deluxe EP three words
eight letters out right now, and I mean she's got
some things to say.

Speaker 4 (29:52):
It's a hot girl summer for real. It's way up.

Speaker 3 (29:55):
Everybody listen, yeah, yeah, yee.

Speaker 4 (29:58):
But you're all being waiting for oh.

Speaker 6 (30:01):
You tapped in the way up with Angela ye what's up.

Speaker 4 (30:04):
This way for Angela yea. I'm Angela yee.

Speaker 5 (30:06):
And of course Jasmine Brand is here, yes, And we
got Honey Baby in the building for the first time listen,
Jasmine couldn't miss this because f and Him Too?

Speaker 1 (30:16):
Is that?

Speaker 5 (30:18):
You know what's interesting though, because this song efing him Too,
that's a great vibe. But even the sample of sowing
to you, if you think about what that song is
about in the first place.

Speaker 4 (30:29):
Yes, it's connected.

Speaker 10 (30:30):
Yeah, let's talk about taking someone like when of somebody's man?
That was like a whole internet conversation and I was like,
why ain't she saying this? And then of those people
like do y'all know what the original was even about?

Speaker 4 (30:38):
Like we didn't when it came out. I just learned
recently what it was really about. I didn't know.

Speaker 5 (30:43):
I just you sing a song and you don't think
about what the song is really saying. Whitney Houston. I
remember my mom was such a big Whitney Houston fan.
But the song that she has saving All My Love,
that's really about her and somebody else's husband.

Speaker 4 (30:57):
Wait a minute, years old? Yeah, yeah, oh and you
got your family and they need you there. Oh yeah,
she said solen moments. Oh yeah, oh my gosh. I
guess they were so subliminal, right.

Speaker 7 (31:12):
But not not you girl, but.

Speaker 10 (31:15):
Chaka con hold on, that's in my phone the Chaka
Khan sweet thing, Okay, sweet thing, even if you cannot
stay Okay.

Speaker 4 (31:23):
Yeah, I didn't even realize that either.

Speaker 3 (31:25):
That was about somebody else. You're not mine and I
can't deny you.

Speaker 4 (31:28):
Okay, Oh my goodness, here is where you are.

Speaker 7 (31:32):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (31:33):
Okay, it just sounds so pretty. Iteah, it sounds pretty too,
but it's.

Speaker 7 (31:39):
Just like damn girl.

Speaker 4 (31:41):
But they said it was mad to girls. Oh they
was so mad. They was like, oh my god.

Speaker 3 (31:46):
And I'm just like, I not man, I'm just a vessel.

Speaker 4 (31:51):
I'm just talking.

Speaker 3 (31:52):
Have you Have you ever been in that position?

Speaker 5 (31:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (31:56):
Yeah, so that person could be mad. But also you
could have been with somebody.

Speaker 6 (31:59):
Man.

Speaker 4 (32:00):
You not know that right, like you could.

Speaker 10 (32:02):
I'm not out here looking. Yeah, I'm about to steal
her man tonight, and yeah I'm an evan man.

Speaker 6 (32:07):
No girl, want your man.

Speaker 5 (32:08):
I don't want your thinking me in Okay, just like
miss Kitty on man right now from Asbury Park, New Jersey.

Speaker 4 (32:14):
Honey babies in the building.

Speaker 5 (32:16):
So the EP, the project is called three Words eight Letters,
and now you have a deluxe version.

Speaker 4 (32:21):
Yes, okay, so let's talk about why you felt.

Speaker 5 (32:24):
Let's do this deluxe version because you have the touching
feature and Buster Rhymes touching feature in Cali, So which
is great that you got because the first album, like
the first project EP, originally didn't have features on it.

Speaker 10 (32:37):
None at all. That was like my first project ever
and I was freshly signed. I don't know nobody in
the industry. I didn't know nothing. I think was different
from me to a lot of people is I'm really
starting from the bottom when I got discovered.

Speaker 5 (32:51):
What was the most exciting thing so far that's happened,
Like somebody that's reached out to you or posted you
or did a TikTok, Like what was oho you about
to say?

Speaker 4 (33:01):
Okay, we love Kailani took I love Kaylanie.

Speaker 10 (33:05):
I think the craziest thing that happened to me was
going from like being this really big Kaylanni fan and
like really admiring her her work. You know, like a
week ago, we're sitting in the strip club fiving out,
and it's like, yo, is this really my life right now?

Speaker 4 (33:21):
Like what the hell is going on? All right?

Speaker 5 (33:24):
Jasmine Brand is here and of course honeybaby is here.
We have more with her when we come back. Her EP,
the deluxe version is out right now, three words, eight letters,
y y yee.

Speaker 4 (33:35):
But you all been waiting for.

Speaker 6 (33:38):
You're tapped in the way up with Angela yee.

Speaker 5 (33:40):
What happens way up with Angela yee? I'm Angela Yee.
Jasmine Brand is here and right now we are talking
to honey baby.

Speaker 7 (33:47):
Now.

Speaker 5 (33:47):
You've talked a lot about manifesting things in the past,
So what is the craziest thing that you've manifested for yourself?

Speaker 6 (33:55):
My life?

Speaker 10 (33:56):
Before I met my manager, I was like really grinding,
Like I wasn't even like on the music tip. I
was just still writing music and still like I know
this is what I want to do, but I can't
pursue this fully right now.

Speaker 4 (34:07):
And I was like in the cub and I.

Speaker 10 (34:10):
Was in this really small apartment and like I was
just like just trying to figure it out. And I
was like, I'm only gonna do this for a year
and after this year, yeah, Like I'm gonna do this
for a year, and after this something's gonna happen, something's
gonna change, My life's gonna change. I'm never gonna have
to do no, I'm never gonna have to worry about
nothing again. And then I had this Manifesting book, and
like I was reading it the other day, like I
was like writing down, like, oh, I'm living in my

(34:31):
apartment and my big windows and it's like this and
like that, and I'm in my apartment, I'm looking at my.

Speaker 4 (34:36):
Book and I'm like, what the is happening right now?

Speaker 10 (34:39):
And then like just the way my career is going
right now, Like I didn't want nothing that was like
gonna boom right in my face and I wouldn't be
able to catch it. Like I wanted something that I
could catch and enjoy and you know.

Speaker 5 (34:51):
Really appreciate the yo, like get into a certain point,
you know, like you said, you know, the development career
instead of have it's something big and viral.

Speaker 4 (35:01):
And then it's like, damn, how do I catch up
to that exactly?

Speaker 10 (35:03):
And looking back, it's like, how did I go from
summer of twenty twenty two doing what I was doing
and living how I was living and going through I
was going through to fast forward to summer twenty twenty
three and my whole life is completely different.

Speaker 5 (35:15):
Well that's crazy right now. From Asbury Park, New Jersey,
honey Babies in the building. When you said what you
were going through, like what type of things were you
going through?

Speaker 4 (35:24):
I just was like struggling really bad. I didn't know
where life was gonna take me.

Speaker 10 (35:28):
Like I was again living like seeing on my mom couch,
but it's me, my mom, my nephew, my brother in
a one bedroom apartment.

Speaker 4 (35:34):
And it was just like a lot going on.

Speaker 10 (35:36):
And then I just got really depressed and I was
just like, yo, I don't I can't deal with this,
Like my brain literally cannot process this. And then it
just was like a switch, like I was like, you
know what, maybe one day everything's gonna come together. Maybe
one day I'm not gonna have to deal with this.
Maybe one day my brain is not gonna eat me alive.
Everything is gonna eat me alive. And now I'm just
like a wind bird.

Speaker 5 (35:56):
And then I also think your mom held you down.
Now you have an opportunity to hold her down.

Speaker 10 (36:01):
Yes, she definitely held it down for me when I
needed her the most. So I really appreciate that, Like
I'll give her the world. My mom my, stepmom, my nephew,
and my sister, they really they really held it down
for me.

Speaker 4 (36:12):
So I whatever they want they get. Well, thank you
so much for coming through. We really did enjoy it.

Speaker 5 (36:18):
Three words eight letters I hate you, but I also
love you. Yes, those are the three words and the
eight letters I hate you, I love you.

Speaker 4 (36:24):
Touching is definitely going crazy right now.

Speaker 10 (36:26):
So when I come out with this new album, after
this deluxe, I'm gonna have about twenty five touch ins
and it's gonna be late. Oh yes, okay, okay, yes, yes, yes,
I love me at number one by the end of
this year.

Speaker 4 (36:37):
There we go. Put it all out there.

Speaker 5 (36:39):
Thank you so much, honey Baby. We appreciate you, Thank you,
thank you for having me. You can watch that full
interview on my YouTube channel Way Up with ye Em.
When we come back, you guys get to have the
last word.

Speaker 6 (36:50):
Tapping to get your voice heard. What the word is
is the last word on Way Up with Angela Ye.

Speaker 5 (36:56):
What's up is Way Up with Angela Ye. I'm Angela yee.
Oh man, it's Friday.

Speaker 3 (37:00):
It's so hard to say goodbye though.

Speaker 5 (37:01):
It's hard but that I do appreciate you walking with
me today though, absolutely, but thank you the honey Baby
for joining us straight out of New Jersey. And also
today I'm actually gonna be introducing the Mayor Eric Adams.

Speaker 4 (37:16):
Don't do it, don't do it, be done, don't you
do it? Some queens just like you.

Speaker 3 (37:20):
He's also a party promoter, all right, but.
