Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, guys.

Speaker 2 (00:00):
Here we are last break of the day on this Tuesday.
And Steve, before we get out of here, we did
have another call.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
This one's from MD.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Take a listen.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
My name is MD. I'm calling about the guy we
talk about not to vote. You were all right, and
you were being politics ignorant. For me, he's stupid, playing
stupid man, because I come here as a foreigner. And
when I came here, I went back to school and
I study modern history, rural history and nineteen history. And

(00:33):
that's when I know about Malcolm X Martin, King Luther Juner,
and also Rose the Park and the history behind it. Man.
And in ninety nine I get my suitinizenship and I
start to vote from ever since, man voting, we have
to vote. I went to the barber shop and I

(00:53):
speak history and these guys are looking at my life.
Wait the hell, I say, get all the stuff from
And I said, Man, you guys don't study history in
high school. They'll be like no, I said, man, got
you guys missing out? Man, Bud, love your show, Love
the crew, pig up June on his poet Man, I
like that. I'm from Jamaica, so you know it is
I know you guys talk about ox steal all the time.

(01:15):
Keep it up, man, you guys good.

Speaker 4 (01:17):
Yeah, you know man, indeed, you know what he said
is so important, which leads to my closing remarks. You know,
I've hated that this election has come because this election
is the most decisive, divisive, divisive that we've had ever.
Every time Trump runs, it becomes divisive. You know, We've

(01:40):
always had Republican presidents. We've had Nixon in my lifetime,
We've had you know, the Bushes in my lifetime. You know,
we've had Reagan in my lifetime. I've really really never
really had a problem with them. You know, some of
their policies would different, but I understand that it's gonna

(02:03):
be some differences. But never before in my lifetime have
I seen this, the types of people that come out
the woodwork for Donald Trump, the people that he draw
out from the shadows in this country. I'm really grateful
to Donald Trump because he has exposed the underbelly of America,

(02:24):
the one that slithers on the ground, that stays covered
under the bushes and the grasses that's down there making
all the snake bites and secret covert attacks. He's bought
them all out. They fronting cinnernine. They don't they and
they try to come up with stuff every time somebody
come up. They don't want to run. Here come to
tea party, Here come qanone, Here come all these groups.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
All these groups raise up.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
The militia shows up, the Proud Boys shows up, the
Skinhead shows up, the National Party shows up. They just
the Southern Evangelical show up. And that was a little
bit more surprising to me that I found out that
this religious organization was really not religious at all, but political,

(03:10):
that Southern Evangelicals were created to support slavery.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
See when I went to the slave.

Speaker 4 (03:16):
Castles in the outside of Ghana, which one of the
most revealing moments, and I saw the dungeons in which
they kept the slaves in for weeks before they put
them on the ship, and each doorway that led to
the following room, like they.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
Moved you from room to room.

Speaker 4 (03:34):
Each doorway was a little bit more narrower than the
other one, and they kept you in there until you
lost enough weight until you could go through a certain doorway.
And if you couldn't fit through the doorway, then they
kept you in this room until you lost enough weight.
That way, they knew how many people they could pack
on the slave ship.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
I saw this, But in those dungeons there was a.

Speaker 4 (03:55):
Hole in the roof, and the hole in the roof
was right under the church. Because they wanted to inundate
the so called savages, the so called slaves, the so
called Africans. They wanted to indicate them with their religion,

(04:15):
and they were using Christianity. They were using Christianity to
justify slavery. That's crazy. See, Christianity is not a white religion.
In case that's true, That's not what I'm saying. But
what this group of whites did in this country was
they tried to make it a reason to justify slavery.

(04:37):
So when slavery came to America later on, when they
were talking about fighting the Civil War, here came the
Southern Evangelicals. They came to support slavery and their Christian
organization and they exist today.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
So see when you talking about not voting, are you serious?

Speaker 4 (04:55):
Do you understand what they're doing with this make America
Great Again campaign? Tommy just sent He's something where Lawrence Taylor,
one of the greatest, if not the greatest, football player
to ever play in the NFL. I've never seen a
guy play the position of linebacker like Lawrence Taylor from
the outside. Now, ray Lewis who another dude, but this boy,

(05:17):
Lawrence Taylor.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
Yeah, and he's.

Speaker 4 (05:20):
Now a Trump supporter. And he was saying that he
was never a Democrat. He's been a Democrat his whole life,
never been a Republican. And now after meeting this man,
he'll never vote Democrat again.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Why why?

Speaker 4 (05:34):
And you know what's crazy to me is they go
find all these black people. It's a good thing that
Lawrence Taylor's one of the greatest football players. Other than that, irrelevant,
irrelevant could give less than a damn who Lawrence Taylor
vote for? But to stand up and take yo, what
little star power you do have and then give it
to this man.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
Why?

Speaker 4 (05:55):
Why would you vote for Trump? Why would you never
vote Democrat again? After you met the man? What did
Donald Trump say to you that was so convincing that
he's right for black people? When all mega stands for
is make America great again.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
When making America great again.

Speaker 4 (06:12):
They're talking about taking it back to a time where
it was never good for black people.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
It ain't that good for us now? But let's get
it back there.

Speaker 4 (06:19):
So now let's change the high school names back to
all these Confederate generals, and let's get rid of black history. Adam,
make America great again, y'all stupid. We got to vote, man.
And if you send a here thinking that Trump's is
for black, you might be black for Trump, but Trump
ain't for your black ass.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
You need to understand that. Okay, bye, y'all, have a
great thing for all.
