(00:00):
Right now, we're gonna head tothe hotline now talk with the starting right
tackle of the Denver Broncos, MikeMcGlinchey. Mike, thanks a lot for
the time. Is Dave Logan,Alfred Williams, Ryan Edwards and Ben Albright.
We appreciate how you been. I'mgood. Thanks guys, Thatch for
having me on. Yeah, soquickly, I'm assuming you've had a chance
to look at the schedule. Whatcouple of things sort of stand out in

(00:22):
your mind? We got a goodone this year. I think I think
we're gonna you know, it's gonnabe fun. We get to travel a
little bit, get to play themin some great stadiums, you know.
I just the schedule's kind of funnyfrom a player's perspective because we're gonna play
who we're gonna play, right wealready knew who our matchups were. It
doesn't matter when it just gives ourfamily is a little bit time to play

(00:43):
some trips where they want to go, where things fall. Hopefully get like
an eleven months to jump on theholidays and stuff like that. But no,
it's a it's a fun release toget get more anticipation going, and
it allows us to start playing alittle bit, and you know, it's
an exciting year that we're going tohave here and a lot of opportunity,

(01:06):
and the schedule I think reflects that. What's one of these games are you
looking at saying, man, Icannot wait for that one because I remember
as a player there was always agame that I look forward to because of
the opponent or the player that Iwas playing opposite. Well, certainly it's
anybody in our division, right It'slike, that's the that's the that's the
games you look for every year whenyou're when you're looking at the games as

(01:29):
from a from a football perspective, when when do your division opponents fall?
How exciting could it be? Youknow, certainly getting the Chiefs in the
last game of the year is goingto be a great one. But anytime
you play, you know, wehave so many great players in our division,
especially from a defensive lines perspective,so those division games are going to
be the ones that we always lookfor. You have a couple of new

(01:49):
additions to the quarterback room, ZachWilson and Bo Nix, the rookie that
the Broncos selected at twelfth overall. They'll know how much interaction you've had with
him, But what are your thoughtson that? It's an exciting thing.
I think, you know, he'sobviously the I love the way that the
coaches love him. I love theway that they think that he's gonna work
for us. But obviously still alot to learn. And we have three
great guys in that room, guysthat all can play. And I think,

(02:14):
you know, no matter who theguy is, we're gonna be in
good hands. You know, youget the schedule release till you look at
it, you see no Thanksgiving game, no Christmas game. Does that let
out a big sigh of relief thatyou get to sit at home and eat
the turkey and open the presence insteadof prepping for a game. Uh,
you know what? Not necessarily.Honestly, sometimes playing on the holiday actually

(02:34):
gives you more of a holiday, which is kind of funny. You don't
actually care about the day, Youjust care about the time, and certainly
the things that you look for, like a what what opportunities are we going
to have with weather, what opportunitiesare we going to have to play in
prime time? And things of thatnature. So just strategically in that in
that in that regard when you lookat the schedule. But uh, certainly,

(02:58):
I guess it's nice to be homefor the holiday, But at the
same time, it's still a workdayanyway, no doubt about that, Mike.
We appreciate the time and looking forwardto start a training camp. Stay
healthy. We'll see you soon, all right, guys, thanks so much,
you bet. Mike McGlinchey starting righttackle for the Denver Broncos.
