(00:00):
And that was It's not surprising tosee Minnesota win that game. I think
the surprising part is the effort andcertainly the final score of that game.
Welcome back, just after five o'clockon a Friday, Rick Lewis, Ryan
Edward's gonna head right out to theKIAE Common Spirit Health Hotline and bring on
Rick kmlos with a serious XM NBAand you can find them on Twitter at

(00:22):
Rick Campbell Sports. Rick, thankyou so much for the time, man,
Good Friday to you. How areyou. What's up? Bell?
Its great to be on the airwith you. Great to be on with
you as well. And yeah,we're just sort of talking about I'm trying
to understand and get a beat onthis Nuggets Timberwolves series. Maybe you can
explain it. I mean, we'vewatched every minute of out here in Denver,
but just when I think I knowwhat's gonna happen, the exact opposite

(00:45):
happens. Do you feel the sameway. I think I've had my hand
on the pulse of the series decentlyoverall. I picked Denver in seven,
but the ebbs and the flows withinthis series, to your point, have
been and completely unforeseen. I mean, Minnesota going into Denver and winning games
one and two. The defensive masterpiecethey painted in game two, very very

(01:10):
shocking stuff. You know, Idid anticipate Minnesota winning last night, however,
not by forty five. And Ialso have watched every minute of every
well pretty much all of these playoffs, all of these playoff games. But
I can say I did not watchabout the last seven minutes of last night's
game. Okay, I believe thatthe young man's name is Hunter Tyson.

(01:30):
Okay, I was good. Itwas late, and I plugged, and
you know, I went to bedand stuff like that. It was such
a blowout, man. But guys, what we have going on here right
now is a major bounce back factorin Denver's favor. They get smashed by
forty five, their greatest playoff lossof all time. Murray stunk in game
six, four of eighteen. Thedoubles on Yoki threw him off a little

(01:53):
bit. So they're all in it. And what I know, when you've
got a bunch of champions like theseguys who are in it, they're gonna
about that much stronger. They werein it deeper coming out of Denver going
to Minnesota down oh two and maybenot having Jamal Murray for the possible suspension
game. I think they're in abetter spot now. And I'm a big

(02:13):
believer in the law of averages, guys, big believer in the bounce back
factor, also the pride factor. These guys got humiliated and embarrassed, man,
and I think the Nuggets are gonnacome with a big old punch on
Sunday. Hey, Rick, thanksfor coming on the show. We've never
seen a raining NBA champ lose byforty five points before. That just doesn't
happen. And it hasn't. Sovery unusual, and it's been a weird

(02:34):
series where we've seen these two teamsat times look like the best team in
the league and at other times theworst team in the league. Also very
strange. Now, when you lookat this Nuggets team last night, do
you feel like that the Tea Wolvesmaybe have some momentum even though they're coming
into Denver. It kind of feelslike they figured something out last night and

(02:58):
just really made the Nuggets really bad. That's their worst game of the year.
Yeah, I mean, pardon me, they did, you know they?
I think Minnesota got a met offthe ball a little bit more to
make it harder for Denver to doubleteam him. That was a really nice
adjustment by Chris Finch. They doubledNakole Jokic more and and so that you
know, worked at times, Butthat was more. It was less about

(03:21):
scheme and more about one team wasin a death game and another team had
a game in hand. I didfeel some of that last night. Denver
let go of the rope. I'mnot mad at them, Okay. It
wasn't like the Phoenix Suns letting goof the rope against Dallas when they lost
my thirty three in Game seven inthe second round in their home and they
let go of the rope in thesecond quarter. Okay, that's the death

(03:42):
game. You don't let go ofthe rope. Denver let go of the
rope in a I guess I wouldcall it a penultimate game, right,
Okay, that's fine. Well youbetter come out, you know, with
with a lot of force and alot of intelligence, and a lot of
skill and a lot of competitive greatness. And I think they will. Guys,
I'll have you know. I ama national broadcaster and I me and
my partner Antonio Daniels were boulders ina storm. I think we were the

(04:06):
only dudes out there when the Nugswere down O two saying this series is
not over. Hang in there, let's wait for game three. Obviously a
lot of people were grabbing that shoveland throwing dirt down on them. I
was not one of those guys.Man, I got a lot of belief
in this Nugget team. Well, you're also smart because you don't want to
show up on old takes exposed likeso many other Nationals guys. Uh Rick

(04:31):
part of it. That was actuallypart of it. I'm like, I
don't have to give a hot takeright now, so I'm just gonna pick
this opportunity to not give a hottake and actually get kind of a boring,
flimsy take. It it works,Yeah, and it was. It
was a smart play. Like I'lleven say, you know, we we
were back here in Denver, we'retalking about the series. It felt difficult

(04:55):
to picture the Nuggets winning the seriesafter they were down O two. Like,
it felt difficult, But I don'tthink anybody here was saying that that
the series is over. It justsort of felt like, Hey, they're
gonna punch back, but it's gonnabe a tall task because if Minnesota just
gets one, all they had toget was one of their home games.
It felt like it was going tobe a tall task for the Nuggets.
Let me ask you about the Westfor a second. Who do you feel

(05:15):
like like we're looking at maybe Dallasclosing things out, And I don't know
how you feel about that. IfOKC he's going to force the game seven,
who do you feel the best aboutof the four remaining teams to come
out of the West? Denver?Clearly, no no question in my brain
about that. And I'm not sayingthat you know they'll sweep their next opponent.

(05:38):
I'm just saying I again, Ijust have a ton of confidence in
this group. They have the beststarting five, the best core four,
the best duo, the best playerand uh and I trust Murray. I
know he's a roller coaster ride andhe's quite the adventure, but I trust
that dude. Like when when he'sgot to have it, he delivers.
And in game six was not thatgame, right, That was a luxury

(06:00):
game. That was a free swinggame, and Murray stump. Okay,
And so now I think we're gonnaget pull Murray. I do think Dallas
is gonna close out. Okay,See, I don't want that to happen.
I want to Game seven. Butwhat I think is gonna happen is
Dallas is gonna invokee a stat thatI told, okay, see not to
allow them to invoke. Kyrie Irvingis thirteen to oh in close out games

(06:23):
in his career, Okay, Andto me, that's the truism of the
stat. So I'm gonna rock withthat stat. And uh, and and
I think Luca, Luca, youknow, I think what happened with Luca,
guys is, uh, he wasletting his knee dictate to him how
it was going to be. Andthat's not That's not what's up. You've
got to tell your knee how it'sgonna be, and if it's gonna be

(06:44):
sore and maybe a little bit painful, who cares. All Right, you
gotta go get it done. Nobody'sgiving you a pass. Nobody is saying,
oh, it's fine, Luca. You sucked the entire playoffs, but
you had a sprain knee. Nobody'sgiving you. I saw him dig deep,
deeper than I've ever seen him digin a playoff game for Game five,
and so now hopefully for him likethat's a new thing, Like,

(07:06):
oh wow, kind of a breakthroughfor me. Kyrie Irvings. Kyrie Irving,
I think he's going to be terrificand have his best game of the
series. And I think the Dallasothers, the PJ. Washington Seat,
Derrek Jones Juniors gapply as I liketo call them, the Gaffard Lovely Combo.
They're gonna be at home, They'regonna be buzzing around, and I
think they're gonna be terrific and Ithink they're gonna win. Hey, Rick,

(07:28):
go back to Jamal Murray. Weknow that shooters are streaky, they
go on streaks, they're hot, they're cold. But Jamal Murray, for
the most part, other than thetwo big shots he hit against the Lakers,
he's been streaking in the wrong direction. Do you feel like that's because
he's hurt and he's banged up andhe's maybe not being completely honest as to

(07:51):
how much he's hurt. He hadthe calf, he has another issue as
well. What's going on with JamalMurray? And do you think he can
get it back? Because I feltlike we saw a lack of effort from
him last night, because even ifyou're missing shots, you can still play
defense. And I saw a lotof standing around with him makes me think

(08:11):
like he's maybe hurt worse than wethink he is. I don't disagree with
your analysis on that at all.I think it was born more of we're
getting our asses kicked and this isn'tour night, and it was just sort
of a defeatist attitude and body language, and frankly, I detected that in
the first quarter. I love MichaelMalone, I did not agree with his

(08:33):
decision to let that run go andgo and go and go without pulling a
time out. I forget what gameit was, but earlier in the series
never had the lead at halftime.Minnesota had a nice burst at the beginning
of the third quarter Malone bang totime out, and then they went on
a run and ended the game. And so I don't think that was gonna
happen last night. Minnesota was juston one. But just a small little

(08:56):
layer of nitpicking. Okay, it'snot even criticism. I love Michael them
alone Murray. It's it's a greatquestion, and it's very complicated. I
can't give Murray the pass. Ican't, Okay, I watched him in
the regular season. I have JamalMurray on my team in the cam Dynasty,
so I managed Jimmy help me wina championship I traded for during the

(09:18):
year, So I Jamal Murray's myguy. Man. We want to chip
together in the fantasy space. Buthe was very weird all year. Guys
on the interim report every single day, and and no, I don't think
he's perfectly healthy. But again, you have to deliver. Nobody's giving you
a pass, nobody's making excuses. We certainly don't want to hear you make
one. He's just got to playbetter. What Murray has done is okay,

(09:41):
I'm kind of having a sucky playoffs, but you guys really need me
right now. Boom. He's therefor that right the shots against LA,
the moments against LA, the moment'shere against the walls, and I think
he's gonna have a bunch of momentson Sunday. Last one for you.
I appreciate your time, man, always great energy. If for some reason
the Nuggets do don't win Game seven, I'm with you. I think they
do. I think that they areultimately the better team. But if they

(10:05):
don't win Game seven, what aresome of the things that you're talking about
this offseason for the Nuggets, howdo they respond to being bounced to the
second round? Go get Bruce Brownback? Yeah, yes, get through.
He's not in Toronto's plans. Man, They're probably gonna pick up his
option and make somebody come and gethim with an asset. Cool, give

(10:26):
him that asset, give him acouple of second round picks. You're gonna
have to make the money work. And so I don't know who's going out
to bring him Brown, but tryto go get him right, And they
got to get three and D offthe bench. Man, Like like Peyton
Watson brings the D, he doesn'tbring the three because Christian Brown I think
is a pretty good he's at themoments in these playoffs. I'm a fan.

(10:46):
Reggie Jackson's been good off that bench. I'm okay with him backing it
off their Sinnator synergy and chemistry there. I do like Peyton Watson, but
we got to get that three gamedialed up. Man. I think a
three like a Royce O'Neill would bea great addition. It would be a
really good and Rick Man, likeI said, always great having you in
the show. Thank you so muchfor the time you guys. All right,

(11:07):
Rick CaMLA, that was great, serious XM NBA analysts. I love
it for me as a fantasy personwho plays fantasy baseball, football, basketball,
all of it. I do lovewhen when guys say, hey,
this is my guy. He wason my fantasy team. Yeah, he
was great. I love his energy. Some great takes. Good guest Nicole
Jokich last night had just an unbelievablesound bite a couple of them. Actually

(11:31):
he called it a great loss.Actually we had him like nine to two
score right, fun didn't look goodfor them in that period, you know,
uh, But since then it wasit was a one theme show.

(11:52):
So I'm gonna I'm gonna say thisis a great loss. And he outed
on that a couple of times, talking about a great loss. What does
that mean to you? Rick?I took it as a learning experience for
the team, and they know whatthey have to do and what they can't

(12:13):
do in Game seven, And man, what's not the love about the Joker
man? He just he's incredible,so funny, and he did have a
he didn't have a good game andthey were doubling him a lot, but
he was still missing shots that henormally makes, but we've come to expect
so much from him. It wasa little, I guess, a little

(12:35):
hard to watch. You saw himmissing shots that easy shots even when the
you know, he wasn't being hotlycontested by the t Wolves. He will
be better in game seven. He'snot going to play like that again,
no doubt. The problem is canMichael Porter Junior step up. He's pretty

(12:56):
much disappeared the whole series. JamalMurray is the big X factor from me.
Jamal Murray has to be streaky hotagain and not streaky cold. Can
he do it? You know,he looks like he might be have some
sort of injuries that he's battling.Maybe throwing a shot off a little bit,
and as our guest just said, body language was bad. Yeah,

(13:20):
you know, it was disappointing. It felt like they knew relatively early.
I mean, he talked about andit was funny because they did get off
to that really hot start nine totwo and Minnesota calls the time out and
you're just like, here we go, lookus, you're gonna you know,
walk through this game. They're gonnaembarrassed Minnesota again on their home court.
From that time out. It waslike a twenty four to two run,
I know, and it just completelyflipped the whole thing. Anthony Edwards,

(13:45):
I think as I was right. So the Nuggets had fourteen points in the
first quarter, and then they hadtwenty six the second. But they had
fourteen points. He had nineteen pointsby halftime, and so he had more
than the Nuggets had in there thatfirst quarter. Got by himself well,
and he he just he was ona mission. And it felt like,
and this is my big concern,It was my big concern about their body

(14:09):
language. To your the point you'rebringing up, it felt like they knew
they had a game in hand, and that makes me a little bit nervous
about the mindset of this team. You went into that thing, and Rick
Hamill brought this up too. Itfelt like you went into that game knowing
you had to backstop, knowing thatif it doesn't go our way tonight,
it's okay, we're gonna go homefor Game seven. And I don't like

(14:31):
that. I hate that. That'snot the killer mentality you need as a
champion of the Rainy champ. Ido not like that because sometimes you can't
get it. Going back the otherway. And that's why I feel like
the Timberwolves have the momentum going intothis game seven. Do I think they're
gonna win, Not necessarily, butthey got to be feeling really good about

(14:52):
themselves, and it did look tome like they made a found They maybe
found something both offensively and defense toplay against the Nuggets. And if the
Nuggets can't make an adjustment in Gameseven and they can't afford to show up
platte at all, and they won't, they won't. They won't do that
again. But if the t Wolveshave figured something out, yeah, it

(15:13):
could be a tough night. Here'sone more in Kola, Yoka. Just
for fun, Nicole, you saidthis was a great loss. Can you
just elaborate on what that means? What do you mean by it being great?
So great? You know, theybeat our ass. They are better
than us in the average segment ofthe game, and we need to accept
it, you know, bake it, and just try to try to be

(15:37):
better next time. You know,Ben, you lose by forty five.
It sounds like something happens every day, So just accept it. You know,
I'm cool if it is. Andmaybe that's where you derived some optimism
if you're a Nuggets fan that wokeup today feeling pretty down about the situation.

(15:58):
Best Player Planet, Yeah, thethree time MVP. He's good with
it. And some people didn't likethat he said that, you know there's
haters out there, but what doyou want hanging his head? I would
be freaking out if he was hanginghis head. Some people feel like he's
a little too nonchalant about everything. That's just that's his personality. Sure,

(16:21):
you know, he doesn't ever seemlike he's worried about anything, which makes
him pretty unique, I think, and maybe works in his favor that he's
always cool, you know, soif he's a guy that's not going to
get down because he's always cool.I kind of like that about him.
But I did see he's catching someheat for that comment. But again,

(16:42):
to your point, be you likelead the way that you lead. Last
thing I want you to do iscome in there and be raw, raw,
because you're not really that guy. You're more launched on nonchalant, right,
or the other side of it,where he's just like, man,
we are screwed. It's bad.We don't know where we're going. Forty
five point lot. This is embarrassing, the most embarrassing loss in franchise history.

(17:03):
No, it's like we got Gameseven, we're heading home. We
know we can beat this team.We know we're better than this team,
and we're champions. The Rainy Champsman absolutely, and they do have the
heart of a champion. We sawthat coming back from the oh to two
deficit. Uh, that all camethrough and it's going to have to come
through again tomorrow night, and Ithink it will. A couple of great

(17:25):
texts here on our Ka Commas SpiritHealth text line. I have now seen
ricks peck the injury. It was. It was gruesome. I showed you
the picture, not the pet.Yes, you're right, phrasing is important.
You showed me the picture of theinjury. It was. It was.
It was definitely something. And thenyou you were telling me a story

(17:48):
about how you broke your back. You said you're gonna share with the listeners,
so believe it or not. Iused to be a sideline reporter for
the Nuggets back in the day,and it was all comedy bits that we
did at the time. There wasno analysis going on at all. It
was just funny, some crazy stufflike a one game Charles Barkley got kicked

(18:10):
out of the game and like inthe first quarter, and so we ordered
him a pizza on live TV,took it back to the locker room when
he was watching the game in thelocker room on TV. As I was
about to I'm holding a pizza,And as I was about to open the
door holding a mic in a pizza, he comes running out the door,
grabs the pizza, punches me rightin the sternum hard and he's a big

(18:33):
dude and laughing his ass off,ran back into the locker room. But
anyway, so while I was shootinga bit with Rocky the mascot where you
know, Rocky does that thing wherehe dunks basketballs off the trampoline right the
little mini tramp and so we didabout four or five of those, and
they were taking different angles of it, and then like the fifth one,

(18:53):
I landed and I felt this likeweird buzzing sensation all up and down my
back and my legs, and Ithought, hmm, that's probably not good.
But it didn't hurt. And theysaid, hey, man, can
we get a couple more takes here? You know, I want to get
a different angle on it. SoI did probably four more of them.
You kept going, I kept goingand didn't. They thought nothing of it,

(19:15):
no pain, nothing. Next morningI got up, I could barely
move, and I knew I wasin trouble. Went and got an X
ray and I had suffered a stressfracture and blew out a disc in T
two T three, just completely blewit out, like they didn't have to
go in and clean it up becauseit was gone. And the stress fracture,
and I've been going to a chirofractureever since. I have never,

(19:37):
ever, ever, ever want tohear Dave and Al talk about the football
players being the toughest guy media broadcastersdoing stuff like that that you know what,
that's a good point. I youknow, I did it for the
camera, and looking back on itnow, how dumb was that? Really?
Yeah? My And and you know, I don't know how much money

(20:02):
I've spent on back care since then, uh, you know, weekly chiropractic
and everybody else that goes with it. But a lot of money. And
was it worth it? Looking back? No, it wasn't worth it.
And you know what, Rocky themascot broke his back the same way.
Okay, did the same thing. It's really easy to do doing it off

(20:22):
a tramp so very quickly. Similarstory for me. I was with my
kids at a trampoline park, thedangerous, very dangerous jumping into a foam
pit. I misjudged so from thetrampoline into the phone. Huh. I
didn't jump far enough. I landedon my tailbone, full weight. Like

(20:45):
I'm up in the air jumping straightout. I leaned back, land full
weight on my tailbone, same thing, shock through my body, couldn't breathe
because I knocked the wind out ofmyself, and I'm laying there, tears
streaming down my face. My twolittle girls were there, and you are
you in front of your girls?Yeah? Yeah, that that's really too

(21:07):
bad, so super scary for them. But also I'm so embarrassed, and
I'm thinking what did I just doto myself? Crying? Are you okay?
Dad? Dad? Are you okay? And they're little, there's nothing
they can do. Oh yeah,So I'm fine. You know, my
pride, I'm sure that for along time. Whenever you have a tailbone
injury, that's not going away anyanytime. So the same thing, years

(21:30):
and years of chiropractor, so thathurting isn't anything new. It's just annoying
because it always reminds me of thestupid I thought you were going to say
you were young when you made thatstupid move. So you were a full
grown mountain when you did my thirtiesthe same thing with me, full grown
man. Dumb You think i'd learned. Hey, I did it for show
business. I'm and I did itto make Mike. You know, they

(21:51):
were jumping into the phone pit.I'll jump in the phone pit. I'm
an idiot, all right, RickLewis and Studio, we'll come back.
We'll react to Rick Hamlin. Next, a quick question here asking us what
are abs prediction Fortnite? You likedthem, Yeah, coming back home.
They have big Mo on their sideright now and a ton of talent on
this team. Even without Val theystill have a ton of talent, high

(22:12):
powered offense. They win tonight, and then they go Game seven down to
Dallas and I think they win.I think they're gonna win the series.
Shock everybody. Dallas was and thisis my only sort of thing to push
back. Dallas was the best roadteam in the NHL this year, and

(22:33):
that showed up because they won thetwo games here in Denver. They are
not. This isn't one of thosedeals, especially hockey. It isn't a
deal where home ice matters as much, right, or home home court or
home field. Right, it doesn'tseem to change the way you are.
And so Dallas, who's very evenlydistributed as far as their talent goes,

(22:56):
and I do think overall they havethe best goalie though Georgie was the best
goalie in Game five. Otngur isstill really really good, and they still
have a good defense. They've gotThey've got good top line players too.
They don't have the star power, they don't have the Heart Trophy. Who
I think is gonna be the HeartTrophy winner McKennon. It's just one of
those deals. Like the Avs gottabe specially again in the third period.

(23:19):
This is my prediction. So it'slike it's probably gonna be a tie game
or maybe even the Abs are slightlytrailing. If the Ads can do what
they've been doing, and they've beenthe best team in NHL in the postseason
in the third period by far,if they can be that again in the
third period, they're gonna win thisand force the Game seven. If they
are if they can keep it eventhrough two two periods, keep it even

(23:41):
or around even, they're gonna winthe game. See. I feel like
they've rallied around the vow situation andwe're gonna show the hockey world what we're
made of because of the caliber oftalent guys like McKinnon on that team,
and they I think they this hasbeen a motivating factor for them. They

(24:03):
were in shock in the game theylost what five to one, yes when
they got the news, and soI actually, I'm not a big better
but I bet on the Abs inthat last game and the over and a
parlay hit it. And if Iwas going to bet tonight, I would
take the Abs as well, becauseI just feel like they're like, hey,
man, you know this is ourroom. Let's rally around it.

(24:25):
We got this guy out now becausethey knew what was going on with him
and he was playing really well ata high level, but they knew.
I'm sure they knew about the faileddrug test and all that, and they're
like, Okay, we got ridof this guy. Now, let's show
the hockey world when we're made of. And I think they can ride that.
I'm looking forward to it. Theyshowed a lot of mental toughness that
last game, coming off the Valdachushkinsituation. How it played out. You

(24:52):
said he looked frozen. I meanthat's what the coach said. They look
frozen, They look lifeless, paralyzed. Yeah, they in Game four to
rally and galvanize and to use allof it. His motivation to win Game
five showed me a lot about thisteam. So I'm excited about Game six.
And boy, wouldn't it be funon Sunday to not only have a
Game seven for the Nuggets here atball Arena, but also a Game seven

(25:14):
even back in Dallas well a Sunday. Hopefully they're not at the same time.
That's the only thing that I'm hopingfor. I want to follow up
last couple of thoughts here on theBroncos poll question we asked earlier about the
rookies. Jonah Ellis, Troy Franklin, Chris Abrams, drain Audric Estime.
Which of those guys outside of Bonisare you most excited to see this upcoming
season once again? Adric Esma iskind of running away with this thing at

(25:37):
forty two percent now, Troy Franklinat thirty six Jonah Ellis is at fourteen
and Chris Abrams Drain is eight pointfour. The one thing I will say
about Chris Abrams Drain and I knewhe probably wouldn't win this poll because everybody
wants the offense, and everybody's excitedabout the offense, and I think people
are voting often times what they thinkis going to happen in year one with
these guys, like who is thechance to impact right away? Chris Abrams

(26:02):
Drain, a buddy of mine whoI follow for draft advice, said that
he thought he could have been athird rounder and very well should have been
a third rounder. The talent isthere to be a drafted that high.
He ended up going in the fifth. He's a ballhawk. There was something
there knowing and we talked about thelast hour that you have some openings,

(26:23):
you have some competition there, andI think Sean Payton has the right mindset
about it of like, I justwant to see these guys play. It
wouldn't shock me whatsoever. And thisisn't a slide against Riley Moss. Isn't
a slide against a Mary Mathis orLevi Wallace or anybody else in that room.
It wouldn't shock me if he isone of the stars of training camp.
If he's one of those guys mayberunning on second team, has a

(26:45):
couple of interceptions, and we're talkingabout this young kid and he just plays
his way into a wide open competition, it would not shock me whatsoever.
You know, going back to lastyear, we were kind of talking about
Riley Moss, same way we were, but he got hurt. Remember he
got hurt in training camp or hurtright before training camp, Yeah, which
maybe that was a factor. Yeah, and that he never was able to

(27:08):
recover from that. Would you beshocked if Riley Moss was CB two,
I would be. I'd be moresurprised. So that's a great question because
I'm looking at it in terms ofwhat's the most likely outcome, the most
likely outcome for me as we sithere today Tomorrow mathis finally takes a step

(27:29):
before because I'm not done with him, Like a lot of people are kind
of stilly, you know, hedidn't didn't show up last year. He
was kind of given that that role, given the opportunity to be CB two,
and he just wasn't the guy.I'm not done with him yet.
I think the athleticism there. Ithink the instincts are still there. He's
got a second year with this coachingstaff. I think that's important for him.
So I would handicap it as Tomorrowmath is right off the top again

(27:52):
behind Levi Wallace, who has theexperience, but Levi Wallace at the tail
end of this thing. I thinkthat you're kind of just looking as as
the depth guy more than anything.Tomorrowr Mathis and then I actually go Kad,
I go Chris Abrams Drain, andthen I put Riley Moss. And
that's in part to say I thinkI think Riley Moss's safety. So that's

(28:17):
that I'm telling you where I'm comingfrom right now. It's hard to say
because we just haven't seen much ofhim at all in the National Football League,
but certainly a tremendous athlete, versatilesure, And that's why, you
know, I had a flashback toafter the draft last year. We were
talking about Riley Moss. This guy'sgoing to be special, this guy's they
traded back into the third round fourand that's right, and it just didn't

(28:40):
pan out, And you know,he played special teams didn't really even show
anything there. So but if heturns out. Let me ask you this,
If it turns out to be astarting caliber safety for you, you
do have some openings there. Imean you have some competition, right,
You have some guys that you broughtBrian brand Jones, got PJ Lock here,
you brought him back. Maybe wesee Kayden star right. I mean,

(29:00):
it's hard to predict with Caden's sturns, but maybe he's six step forward.
It won't be so bad about thatif he ends up being all the
tape fall if not, If notstarting safety, we see that happen all
the time in the NFL. Cornerbackstransition to safety pretty easily, you know.
And he's an athlete that could doit, and maybe that would be
a better position for him where hecould use maybe a little more of his

(29:22):
range back there at safety, becauseyou obviously can see the field a whole
lot better from that position, andhe's a tremendous athlete. I like where
you're going with that.
