Director of the Longevity Institute at USC, explains that one of the ways to remain fully functional into our nineties and beyond is to “Exploit our body's innate ability to regenerate itself at the cellular and organ levels”.  And one of the most potent ways we can do this is to fast. I completed Longo's Fasting Mimicking Diet (FMD) last week.  This is my review of the book that explains the research and science behind the Longevity Diet and the FMD, both created by Dr. Valter Longo, as well as an experience report after completing the fast.
