Tegen geheimagent A807 biecht Appie op dat hij verantwoordelijk is voor de dubbele moord in de Albert Heijn. Nog voordat de politie hem kan oppakken vlucht Appie naar Chili. Dat lijkt een slimme zet, Nederland heeft namelijk geen uitleveringsverdrag met Chili. Op verzoek van de Nederlandse politie wordt Appie in dat land toch opgepakt. Op de jongenskamer van hun overleden zoon halen de ouders van Rob herinneringen op.
