Possession Horror in Amityville NY. What happened? Part 1. Join us as we embark on a journey to explore the spine-tingling tales of the Amityville horror and haunting claims, rooted in the macabre events surrounding Ronald DeFeo Jr. On that fateful day, November 13, 1974, DeFeo committed a gruesome act, taking the lives of six family members at 112 Ocean Avenue, Amityville, NY. He was subsequently convicted of second-degree murder.

In December 1975, the Lutz family moved into the same house, unaware of its dark history. However, after enduring 28 harrowing days within its walls, they hastily vacated the premises, citing terrifying encounters with paranormal phenomena during their stay. These unsettling experiences served as the historical foundation for Jay Anson's 1977 novel, "The Amityville Horror." The novel spawned numerous sequels and culminated in a 1979 film adaptation bearing the same name.

In this episode, we delve into the first part of the Amityville horror story: the heinous murders of the DeFeo family. This tragedy claimed the lives of six individuals, including the DeFeo parents and four innocent children, all brutally executed while in their beds. Stay with us as we continue to unravel this chilling narrative in the subsequent parts of our series.
