Simon Leslie is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ink, a global travel media company dedicated to connecting companies with travelers. Throughout the years, Simon and his team have worked to build the company to over $100 million—only for the COVID-19 pandemic to ravage its business and products. Nevertheless, Simon continues to rebuild Ink to be even larger and more profitable. In his book, Equanimity: The Diary of a CEO in Crisis, Simon shares all he’s learned from the pandemic. He is also the author of White Belt Thinking: The Hero’s Journey. A Story of Living with a Beginner’s Mind and There is no F in Sales: A Book About Selling in Every Market Condition.
Simon joins me today to share his wisdom, equanimity, and poetry. He describes how the COVID-19 pandemic turned his life and business upside down and how he remained equanimous through it. He discusses the work he has done to become more centered, grounded, and open-hearted. He also underscores the importance of improving your imagination and dreams and highlights the power of gratitude.
