Kevin Kermes is a serial entrepreneur and Co-Founder & Partner in Create Next Group, an organization that builds companies focused on helping professionals create what’s next in their careers and lives. He is also the Founder and Principal of the K Squared Group and the Founder and Principal of Career Attraction, where they’ve helped over 16,000 high achievers find 6-figure jobs they love. Before founding these organizations, Kevin worked in several other talent acquisition organizations, including Robert Half International, and served as an Infantry Officer in the United States Army.
Kevin joins me today to discuss how you can make the pivot and be where you want to be in your career and life. He explains how focusing on what you don’t want to do instead of what you want to do can hinder you from getting unstuck. He shares the realizations he learned from serving in the military and describes how systems and structures solve recurring problems, allowing us to address bigger problems and goals. He also outlines the steps you can take to figure out what you want to do in your life and career and highlights how asking for help is critical to your success.
“Our beliefs inform our potential, which fuels our ambition and drive to take action. How we perceive the results of our actions builds on our beliefs.” - Kevin Kermes
