This week 3 Democrats on the Federal Trade Commission voted to repeal the use of non-compete agreements in America for nearly everybody.  This is huge for many people in industries ion which businesses force them upon employees as a condition of their employment. Upon leaving the company, the employee is contractually bound to a period of time they cannot seek employment in that same field with a competitor. Imagine not being able to work for 6 months after leaving a job and having to get by without that income stream.

Today, Ben comments on that practice and how it has affected him personally, gives credit to the three Democrats on the Federal Trade Commission who made this happen, and questions why Republicans haven't done this years ago.
