دخلت ما تسمّى بـ "الديمقراطية" إلى العراق بعد عام ٢٠٠٣م، لكنها كانت جديدة على المواطن العراقي، بحيث لم يحصل على التوعية اللازمة والممهّدة، فوصلت على أنها حريّة مُطلقة بدون حدود موضّحة، وأصبحت الديمقراطية شمّاعة جميع الأخطاء والمفاهيم المغلوطة، ما أدّى في النهاية إلى اختيار أشخاص غير مناسبين لقيادة الدولة
