Hey, prayer warriors, it's me, Tawanda. Thanks for joining today.
Day. Today's prayer is titled, Answer Fear with Faith.
It's actually from my Glow Through Prayer book, volume two, and I just want to read a bit of it.
The scripture reference is 1 Corinthians chapter 16, verse 13 from the New International

(00:46):
Version, and it reads, Be on guard, stand firm in the faith,
be courageous, be strong.
Let's pray.
Gracious Lord, you have summoned me by name and you've redeemed me.
I remember that I belong to you, so whom should I fear?

(01:09):
There is nothing that can hurt or hinder your purpose for me.
All things work for the good of those who love you and are called according to your purpose.
Lord, you are my God. You protect me. You keep me strong during times of trouble.
You strengthen me and uphold me with your righteous right hand.

(01:30):
I will be strong and brave.
I will not be discouraged, for I know that you are with me everywhere I go.
Gracious Lord, there is trouble all around.
Our world is filled with so much peril. However, I sing praises to your name.
Even though I walk through the darkest valleys, I worship you because you always

bring me to the other side.
These trials show that my faith is genuine, tested, and purified as gold.
I will consider it pure joy when I face trials of many kinds because I know
that the testing of my faith produces perseverance.
I will not fear any evil that comes my way. You are the stronghold of my life,

(02:15):
my light, and my salvation.
I will stand firm in the counsel of your word.
I will hold tightly to your love, which never fails and endures forever.
Gracious Lord, you are so gracious to me. Your word keeps me in perfect peace.
You defeat all of my adversaries and you give me so much confidence.

(02:37):
Father, when anxiety overwhelmed me, your support brought me joy.
I have witnessed that your promises are true.
Your spirit brings forth power, love, and a sound mind. as I trust in you.
You are my help and my shield.
Gracious Lord, I will never forget where I stand.

(03:01):
I am firmly grounded in the Most High God, and I pray that I will always remember
the power I possess in Christ.
As fear comes knocking, may I always answer with bold and courageous faith. In Jesus' name, amen.

(03:46):
Us in finding peace that surpasses our understanding.
My prayer for you is that you'll always be watchful and alert for things to
pray for with an attitude of gratitude.
