Celeste Edmunds considered herself a “garbage bag girl” for much of her life as she was immersed in the child welfare system from the age of seven, constantly moving and experiencing various forms of abuse. Hers is a compelling story of transformation, healing, hope and overcoming adversity against all odds, as well as owning her own regretful actions. Here she tells her spiritual story for the first time and how her higher power ultimately guided her to a new life of self-love and service to others. Anyone on the spiritual path will be inspired.

Celeste Edmunds Bio - Celeste Edmunds is passionate about making a difference in the lives of youth and the child welfare system so that others may not have to go through the same experiences she had. Today she is the Executive Director of Christmas Box International located in Utah, which has defended more than 155,000 children over 28 years. In her recently released book, Garbage Bag Girl, Celese tells her story of being in the child welfare system from the age of seven, where she experienced an ongoing cycle of police calls, fighting, and physical, sexual, and mental abuse. Ultimately, hers is a story of hope and inspiration, where she finds her way back to her higher power and a family of love.
